are they going to turn down the crazy? quite the contrary. today we learned they decided to go all in. >> as president biden has said, america is back. >> lawrence: so, that's a message you are going to go with? america is back? everything is awesome? you better believe it. >> kamala and i sent here by the american people to deliver and that's what we have done. >> lawrence: so you watch that you are saying to yourself what world are they living in? what's really disturbing is they think this whole strategy that everything is awesome is to answer to joe biden's plunging popularity numbers. need proof? look no further than the white house briefing room where all week they have been carting out different cabinet secretaries to explain just how awesome infrastructure is. now, obviously nobody cares about this but that won't stop them from trying. did it ever cross their mind that perhaps the president's plunging poll numbers have nothing to do with

for playing that clip, lawrence, everything is awesome. in that clip you played with nancy pelosi saying that america is back. she went on to say america is back together for the planet for the women for our children and then when she described what they have accomplished she said what they have accomplished recognizes the interconnectiveness of climate change and gender justice and enables girls to women transition clean energy economy of the future. i'm not sure what any of that means. but i do know that voters and people listening to it don't connect to what they are talking about. it's the party that said we had mostly peaceful protests during the riots in 2020 which means they can say now we had a mostly successful agenda except for the fact that everything costs more, crime is on the rise, crt is in our classrooms, our border is wide open. we said america is back but now we are begging, we are begging for oil from the cartel from opec. we retreated from afghanistan in

a disaster. they are asking you to not believe your lying eyes. it's not going to work it's because they have to be wedded to their leftist marxist agenda. because that's who they have married. that's who they have took to the dance as joe biden likes to say. that's who they are going to dance with. >> lawrence: so you have the democrats that are going along with this, mollie. even the moderates some of them are going with this. you have the media that always is the communications director for the democratic party. but then you have the republicans that believe in bipartisan, getting together, going over to joe's white house and they sign off on as well, so, who is going to fight for the american people if you can't even depend on the republicans to stand and be the last guard? >> it really is something how out of touch the entirety of washington, d.c. and our power structures are relative to what the american people are saying. i love how you pointed out that it's not just nancy pelosi and joe biden who are putting forth

this argument that everything is great. it's also that we have corporate media doing such helpful stuff for this democratic messaging and then do you have gullible republicans who are beholden to the media instead of their own constituents. but it really is also interesting that given that they have all of these systematic advantages, that the polling is so bad for joe biden and for other democratic leaders. i mean, you couldn't get more favorable press and, yet, you have only 29% of the country saying they think we are moving in the right direction with just a few polls that are holding joe biden even moderately above 40%, you know, is he doing horribly in just 10 months into his presidency and that's all because of his policies and how people can tell that they are failing, they can feel it in their pocketbook and they can see the reality. >> lawrence: pete, the responses to say that voters are crazy, and then they laugh. they say that they don't know.

they sick the fbi after parents. they allow boys with skirts to go in the bathroom and rape little girls and then arrest the father for being rightfully upset about it. they allow our border to be totally overrun. and now after these people have gone through this journey, the doj are going to settle with the parents and give them maybe half a million. that's what we're dealing with right now. >> pete: that's exactly what we're dealing with. that's what i heard this morning at a diner with "fox & friends." it's the reality that our leaders live in an alter that the universe where their lives are just fine because none of these things touch them. average voters realize there is only one party that cares and a portion of one party. you have these republicans in the senate and the house who never learned from donald trump that the left is trying to remake fundamentally transform our country and our economy, yet, they think going along with some fake bipartisan bill that

isn't really infrastructure which leads to a socialist green new deal is something they can go back to their voters and sell? i don't think voters are buying it one bit. and my hope is that as they continue to press what they think is an advantage they will dig a bigger hole. kamala harris' approval rating, lawrence, is at 28%. 28%? that's like lower than the new york jets. like, you can't get lower than 28%. and she is not even doing public events. she is not even attempting to pretend like she is leading anything. >> lawrence: pete, that's why she was the first person out of the primary. i mean, democrats rejected her. they decided that they were going to play the identity politics game and he decided that he was going to choose based on that and that's why she was selected. i mean, i predicted this was going to happen before she even got the race that she was going to be the v.p. candidate because democrats have that predictable. mollie, the question is, what is the end game here? i think there has to be agenda

going forward and it's one thing that youngkin proved is, you know, it wasn't about donald trump or anything like that. it was about the american people and the american first agenda and that's how he was able to get democrats, independents to support. they care about their kids. they care about their pocketbook. who is going to be able to communicate that message? >> well, it's important that all republicans who want to get back the house, get the senate and be on track for taking the white house that they realize that it's not sufficient to let democrats fail. yes, democrats are giving republicans a huge gift right now with all of their policy failures. >> lawrence: that's right. >> people are done with republicans who don't use their power to achieve the ends that they would like to. >> lawrence: they are weak and they shouldn't be elected. they should be primaried because if you -- especially when you come on fox news and you pretend you are going to go and be a fighter. you know all the senators. i'm not going to name them tonight because i'm in a kind mood. anyway, thank you mollie and

deserve due process. in fact he was already tried and convicted in the court of public opinion, apparently the prosecution as well. after he shot three reuters in rioters killed three. he claimed self-defense claiming someone pointed the gun at him first. that didn't matter to the media they still painted him as a far right extremist with thirst for blood. >> defend the actions of a 17-year-old man who killed two protesters, one of which was armed with a skateboard. and the last time i checked i don't think a skateboard could kill someone. >> a 17-year-old kid from out of state. a boy from out of state drives up to the state with an ar-15 around his neck. >> shot right there. >> shoots and kills a couple of people. shooting wildly running around acting like rent a cop. >> it's not good that a 17-year-old vigilante arguably a domestic terrorist picked up a

rifle, drove to a different state to shoot people. >> lawrence: so they made all of that up. turns out the story was a lot more complicated than originally made out to be. yesterday, a bombshell dropped in the courtroom. a key witness, the protester who was shot and wounded by rittenhouse admits he was armed with his own gun. >> when you were standing 3 to s up in the air, he never fired, right? >> correct. >> it wasn't until you pointed your gun at him, advanced on him, now your hand is down pointed at him that he fired, right? >> correct. >> lawrence: reporter has been inside the courtroom for the trial and he joins us now to unpack the case. julio, we always appreciate your reporting question is did the prosecution do any preintroduce preinterviews. you think they would know this stuff before the trial.

>> i mean presumably they did. the whole case on murder charges was never really strong to begin with. i mean you think after richard mcginnis' testimony last week you didn't think it could get any worse for the prosecution but it actually did with gauge's gage testimony as you played he agreed that kyle rittenhouse did not shoot him until after he put his hands down, advanced toward rittenhouse and pointed his handgun at his head. the videos have shown that eyewitness testimony has shown that. i was there for that portion of the shooting last year this was a tough case to begin with. as the media examples that you played just now, you would think this would be a slam dunk. you know, a lot of people have had a throat say about this case. but, they clearly didn't even bother to look at the evidence even before the trial started. and they, you know, even people today, they clearly haven't paid attention to the trial.

>> lawrence: you know, julio, something interesting and i would argue dangerous happened in this case. this was a case strictly on emotion. and, you know, a lot of people made the argument that he should not have been there. you can feel that way. you can say i think is he a terrible guy, all that type of stuff that doesn't matter when it comes to the case of self-defense that seems to be the prosecution's problem right here. they predicated this on how people felt if he should have been there at that moment. but they aren't -- they have not been able to prove that he was a cold blooded murderer because it just doesn't exist. i don't understand why the defense didn't ask today for a dismissal right there in court after that bombshell. >> well, right. and, you know, again, as someone who was there that night. i mean, it's kind of interesting that people, you know, they say why was he there you? are right. it doesn't really matter in terms of the case because he was there. and so you have to look at whether he shot in self-defense.

you have don't have people there asking why the rioters were out here that night. they initially attacked the building right behind me which forced the police to come out to push them out of the park which then pushed them into the group of armed individuals out here protecting property. there was no riots happening. >> lawrence: where was the media on that, julio, that and this case? a bombshell just was launched out there. it seems like the that media has been more critical of the judge. they don't like the judge. they haven't been covering what's happening in the courtroom: have you seen them? >> yeah, you know, i have. i have been down in the media room every day when i'm not in the courtroom. and, you know, you are right. some of the headlines from gageleft with the impression it wasn't as damaging to the prosecution's case as it actually was. in fact, in some instances they even claimed that rittenhouse shot him while his hand was in the air. which was not what was said and that was not what was seen in

the video. this case as complicated as it can be it is kind of simple. all you have to do is look at the videos and the videos speak for themselves. >> lawrence: clear that he they're doing. cya. covering ases. the people discredited this young man and went after him simply because they didn't like him not in the eyes of the law should be sued because it was defamation of character are. it's wrong. and i'm interested to see what's going to happen to the prosecution. there is no way this case should have been in court. it's just that julio, great reporting, brother. coming up, how democrats segregated america and now want you to use your tax dollars to fix the problem that they started. straight ahead. ♪

now in 1911, baltimore became the u.s. city housing segregation law restricted where black people can live. when the ordnance came to vote all democrats voted in favor and all republicans voted against. quote many of us agree that poor blacks should be quarantined in isolated slums in order to reduce the incidence of civil disturbance to prevent the spread of disease into the nearby white neighborhoods and protect property value among the white majority. this is one example in the long history of progressives exploiting and segregating the black community. don't forget they are the political party that was in charge and this v. been in charge of america's inner cities for decades. why are democrats now trying to convince you that they're the ones that can solve this problem? >> if the highway was built for the purpose of dividing a white and black neighborhood or if an under pass was constructed such that a bus carrying mostly black and puerto rican kids to a beach

or would have been in new york was designed to low for it to pass by but that obviously reflects racism that went into those design choices. i don't think we have anything to lose by confronting that simple reality. and i think we have everything to gain by acknowledging it appeared then dealing with it. >> lawrence: here now to react felicia ceelings foundation and also known as -- thank you very much for being with me today. felicia, i want to go to you first republicans when they saw this instead of taking a deep breath, looking at the history, assessing it and going on the offense. they just went after the democrats and saying they are saying racism, racism. that should agree with them and then attacked them. go ahead, felicia. >> exactly. oftentimes we see so many conservatives responding to the triggering. and as i shared with folks on twitter class earlier today i said progressives know what they are doing when this comes to this verbiage.

they know when they see the words racist roads it's going to send conservatives in incredible uproar. instead of reacting like that all they have to do is refer back to black history. barack history has proven progressivism is cancerous, choked our community. as i said it's not charity. we have the policies to prove that hotel, to identify ask you the uh-oh does city of the democrats. go in and wreck the community. red lining and imposing more don't have a shot to build our businesses and then they say give us another shot. >> you know, here's the thing with democrats that he they're great at doing. they will call you the "n" word, then package it and sell it right back to you. they have done the same thing with crt where they take the racist history and then turn around and sell it pack to you and make your students learn about their racist history. they are great at marketing. and they understand that the

word racist is a trigger for conservatives and they use that to create an imbalance that actually falls into the democrats' favor. but that's what they like to do. they take the word racist and then sell it back to us. we are the ones that are going to have to pay for us. our black contractors going to get the contracts when it comes to some of this infrastructure. that's what i would like to know. >> yeah. but, felicia, the problem is that republicans always fall for it. this is an opportunity to win, to share the republican agenda, the conservative agenda, the agenda for all to focus on black folk and how they can benefit the community. it's really simple when you look at it. >> of course it is. it's a simple strategy. show up, do black history, talk about it very well and then get on this battlefield of ideas and dominate. it is very, very simple. i tell the a lot of conservatives all they have to do is talk about black wealth when it comes to progressives.

ask these progressives how much black owe white supremacy government. ask the questions and throw it back at them in their face. they will start to see how progressives will crumble underneath all of these same talking points. it's that racist word that triggers conservatives too much. all they have to do is look at history to see how strarnl is rooted and embedded in this entire progressive ideology. >> lawrence: you know when they scream racism they didn't say who was responsible for that racism. because then they would have to take ownership of what they have been doing to our community. i have got to ask you this. i have been talking about this for a while. i know you have been seeing it as well. the key to winning is black men. you have got to start focusing on the black men fighting for their families. volunteering in their schools when fights happen. taking care of their families. the ones that are starting businesses. if you want to win the next election, republicans, focus on this demographic. >> yeah. you know, like felicia was

saying we could technically call this segment missed opportunities. because that's what this is. for example, when we talk about reparations. reparations is a trigger conversation amongst the white right. what we find is that they agree when we talk about the destructive policies of the democratic party. so if we are talking about reparations i tryst it around i say #dems must pay. all of a sudden i found this conservative right was okay with that. so it's like they are not exactly upset about reparations. they just don't want to, responsible for what the democrats have done. you get what i'm saying? >> lawrence: yeah. >> they also don't want to pay for it hey wee don't want payment, we would like tax exemption and make a case why white people could get reparations as a country too. you know what this reparations idea isn't too bad. especially when you are put #dems must pay. >> lawrence: people ask me all the time why do have you these

different faces on fox news? we have never heard of them before. because your republican party continues to play the talking heads of black everybody cans, that promise to get you more black votes and not being shown, then you will continue to lose. i put these voices on because they have the respect of the street. and if you want to win, start talking to people that's already talking to the street. so, felicia, hostep, thank you so much. well, the lawsuits are piling up against the biden administration over osha's vaccine mandate with companies with 100 employees or more. the 23r58 court of appeals has ordered a freeze on the mandate. joe biden doesn't care. encouraging businesses to ignore it meanwhile the white house continues to claim the mandate is all about safety. so, republicans should stay out of the way. >> doj will be defending these lawsuits, these individual lawsuits. when you think about grave danger. when you think about 1100 people dying a day, that is -- that is, i think, you know, an authority

that he can use to make sure that people feel safe in their workplace. what we continue to advocate with from here is to push businesses to move forward with their policies now. and, you know, the question is really that i have is why are these legislators, these republicans getting in the way of that, getting in the way of saving lives? >> lawrence: these people don't have a clue and they are running the country. freedom loving of americans are tired of this. red stays aren't backing down. instead they are fighting back even harder. several attorneys are slewing. todd rokita and mark brnovich. these three attorney general's join me now. they are fighting for the american people. ashley, i start with you. what is the case? >> well, look, you just heard, he said it. they have absolutely no clue. they are using an emergency rule to shove on the american people national healthcare policy, when it won't even apply to specific

work situations. finance unconscionable. you know, we know biden is frustrated because his approval ratings are at an all-time low. that's no reason for him to unlawfully force his will on the american workers. >> lawrence: todd, can you explain the impact on your state? because i know americans feel it but explain how it's affecting you statewide. >> thanks, lawrence. it's going to push many people out of work. they are not going to stand for it indiana, we are ready to move on. we are over this. and it's not going to win any hearts and minds here in the hoosier state. we have to fight against this. you know, this isn't even about the shot. this is about individual [inaudible] liberty being taken from us. these leftists want to know how far they can go with federal infrastructures to take away our ability to run our own lives. we're going to stop it. we will win. >> lawrence: you know, mark, i'm just curious, why doesn't the biden administration care about

states' rights? he stays in d.c. half time. most of the time is he in delaware. this won't impact him. he can allow those states to do whatever they want to do. why is he concerned about what these conservative states are doing? >> you know, lawrence, this is an important reminder that the states created the federal government. the federal government didn't create the states. and actions like this unilaterally by a president who is not a king or emperors demand checks and balances that sever state whether they are democrat or republican should be engapinged in this. i'm proud of my colleagues for being on the in on the fn frontlines of this. let us not forget having the federal government telling you must inject something in your body is the very antithesis of a safe workplace. we know the government shouldn't be our nanny and shouldn't certainly be our doctor. it should be troubling to every american that this is a dangerous precedent on vaccine mandate. we have already seen the irs, the department of justice weaponized in going after our families. now you will have unelected bureaucrats basically

micromanaging you in the workplace and telling you what you should be putting in your body. it's a very dangerous precedent and need to do everything we can to push back against the overreach of the biden administration. >> lawrence: ashley, i have been following your state for a while. you have a terrific governor. he is working with his own advisers who is terrific surgeon, that providing the facts and the data, the raw data so we can actually see what's going on. but the big question is, does this end up in the supreme court and where does it go? >> well, lock, we feel really good about our chances in the appellate court. this is -- this is such an important thing for the american people to maintain our own healthcare economy and not let a president decide when to take that away or jeopardize our jobs. i'm so proud of my colleagues that are here with me today and across the nation. we will absolutely take this all the way to the supreme court if necessary to maintain the sovereignty of our state. and protect the american worker because joe biden certainly isn't doing it.

risk youth by not only giving them a safe space, a safe place but also through education. he is also not just teaching out of a textbook. he teaches kids everything from how to change a tire to how to mow a lawn. when we last spoke with king. king was battling with local school board leadership doing everything possible to keep him from opening his own school. people said it was impossible for this 22-year-old kid to run a school. but he is defying the odds and now set to open up his first school next fall. king randal x for boys and he joins me now with an update. king, always so proud of you, brother. how are you able to do this because they were throwing everything at you lawrence i will say this. somebody who doesn't know can't be done doesn't know my guy. that is extremely important for us to know. we have to make sure that we are

creating competing machines for these different progressive systems that are plaguing and destroying our communities. our children at failing at reading. our children are failing at many different things in our local hometown of albany, georgia. but here we are trying to help our young men and push them forward by creating this program called x for boys. meeting with them weekly. we do workshops with them. teach them firearms training. teach them how to work on cars and work on houses. they have done welding. many different things trying to give them an idea of how to make it and how to survive. how to make it happen. these children need to see possible. and so many of our children in the city of albany don't get to see possible. right now they are going to see a 22-year-old young man not too far off from any of the boys in the program. they are going to open up own schools and fall of 2022. they are going to flourish. told me going to be impossible to run our schools on private donors yet here our private donors have shown up in 24 hours

for us to raise $50,000 for renovations on our new three buildings that we purchased. here we are defying the odds because they don't know my god. >> lawrence: so, king, i guess my big question, it's almost rhetorical. why don't we hear more stories like you out there. they exist. i try to cover them every week. >> i would definitely say many of our favorite black leaders whom are pushed in the media whom have their fists up, et cetera, are more focused on, you know, different ideologies that are plaguing our communities. always say people have accused me of getting funding from the g.o.p., et cetera. i'm like, actually, i haven't gotten a call from the g.o.p. but, your favorite black voices are being paid by this same system that you claim is oppressing you. you get mad at me and call me a sell-out for not selling out to the system. this is what we deal with. i remember one of the biggest

catchphrases for black lives matter i can't breathe. so many men in our cities saying right now they can't breathe. yet, they are standing around. they have so much energy for black men after they are dead. we need to be fighting for young blank men before they die. >> lawrence: maybe the g.o.p. should call you. maybe every conservative organization that focus on outreach should reach out to you. >> you are teaching them stuff that is going to carry them a lifetime. you are not just teaching them. you are making the next generation of men that are going to take care of their family, when their wife can't do her oil change, can change the tire, do the oil change and all of that it shouldn't be just, you know, peed on. >> absolutely. i shun at people who try to politicize my message. i have had a lot of people even conservatives get upset for me for maybe going to different spaces to where maybe black people don't have the best, you know, ideas or things about

white people or et cetera. i said no i have to give to he is that he is spaces to give the message. i have to go there and tell them the truth going on in our community. the black voices they're putting out in front of us are not telling the truth what's going on in our communities. we have to push that forward. yes, we are building young men. i'm trying to make it a unity piece where we are a unifying so many different groups of people. our following is so diverse. we have liberals, we have conservatives, we have libertarians, et cetera, who literally support our program because of that one main message. and if i can get them all to see that you have the same issue it's not within your race, it's not within the parties, it's within your government. if we all unify on one front and go confront our issues, we make something happen. that starts with our young men. >> lawrence: that's right. you can't be 22. you can't be 22. i encourage everyone to support you and, you know, from all the brothers that i hang with, we say we appreciate you young black man and we appreciate the impact that you are making on

>> if you listen to the noise, people of said america has neve been more divided, but that simply not true. there was a time when this was in the midst of a violent divorce. in men they didn't get along well formed an unlikely partnership and help save the country. that was abraham lincoln and frederick douglass. brian tells a story in his new book and he joins us now.

people that follow the program, follow us on fox and friends know that frederick douglass is my idol. in fact, i have a big portrait. i know you have guys have it, it's on my right arm. >> there we go. >> he's my hero. and he is my compass and my political philosophy. you have a tough job. you had to weigh income of the pros and cons of douglass and abraham lincoln how they had a partnership at the end of the day. >> very few cons when it comes to frederick douglass. if you look at lincoln, he had to go over leaps in bounds. i think that attracted me most of the story what it meant to america in once again the two most unlikely people imaginable rows up at the right time when america needed them most. no one would have bet on abraha lincoln. yelled at every time he went to

read and write, one year of formal education. frederick douglass, he didn't know when he was born, he never met his parents he may be met his mom once or twice. he found a way to get the education. in the news he had a thirst for education. what does lincoln have? education. what did they have? plato's, socrates, cicero. for great people opened up thei mind and let them know they could accomplish anything great little by little they got notoriety. their education led them to success. when america needed them most they stepped up. frederick douglass, he we are a a time where 4 million african-americans are enslaved. three and 50,000 slaveholders, it was up to lincoln to tear that apart douglass douglas i d it right away. abraham said i can do it, and

have no country to keep together . >> we talk in the book about th terrific story of terrific douglas of beating his slave master. his slave master was known to b this tough guy. he was known for breaking slaves . and he didn't tell anyone. he knew it was going to embarrass him if he found out that this black guy had beat th hell out of him and his help as well. >> he said i learned from that day come out my self-esteem cam back, the rest of my life i would never take another step back whether he was chased off stage by a hostile crowd, he would come back. he also knew who had his back. a lot of white guys in the nort that i believe in this guy and believe in his vision and i believe in this country. most of all, like you, he bleed red, white, and blue. >> he left the country and was treated by gold he came back an said i'm going to fix it, but h

was mad that lincoln even brought up colonization. >> and you talk about the evolution because douglass douglas didn't start off that way. than he said that was his defense, that we needed the constitution to live up to it. and then abraham lincoln to get slaves to fight where it could you give them guns, give them uniforms, he put his own two sons and. he recruited around the north and they fought with valor and change the perception that many people grew up with about the african-americans and what they could do for america. >> they finally come together and then that is the history of that story. >> any distressed melts away. what kills me is that he got killed. if he was able to survive the 1860s. >> they're are a lot of more stories to tell. you have a tour coming up here are a few dates on the screen. make sure you check this out.
