of manslaughter. the father purchased a gun used in the shooting days before he opened fire killing four students and hurting 7 others. the 15-year-old has been charged as an adult with dozens of crimes including murder, attempted murder and terrorism. parents of the teen accused of killing four students have been arrested in detroit. stay with fox news for more on this developing story. back to regular programming already in progress. laura: voters want to give up economic policies that deliver safety, prosperity and job growth for the mystery of places like california and new york. four years of governor abrams would mean four years of poisonous racial recrimination, four years of high taxes on businesses and families, four years of mask and vaccine mandates, four years of smash and grab, increasing violent crime and four years of

anti-american propaganda in georgia schools. in other words four years of economic and cultural decline. we've seen elvis movie ends in blue states across america. what you told you at the start of the pandemic when. states refused to open was that the red states the reopened early would leave them all behind and that is precisely what has happened. check out today's headline in california's are going to be, the economy is booming supplies california's unemployment rates so high? i don't know, maybe devastating stay at home orders that got millions used to being at home and getting paid for it? generous unemployment benefits, and outrageous taxes have sent businesses like tesla fleeing the state differently or places like nevada and texas. california only clawback 2 thirds of the 2.7 million jobs they lost since the pandemic began. they don't expect a full
12:03 am
recovery until the end of 2023 and i think that is generous but just as they protect gavin newsom from culpability the press would protect abrams if she ever won state office again. she would never be held accountable no matter how bad things got. compare california to the economic miracle unfolding in the peach state under republican governor brian kemp. georgia's unemployment rate dropped to 3.one% in october, the lowest rates and the fed began keeping records in 1976. remember kemp was smart enough to end the lockdowns earliest of all states even though he was criticized for it by everyone from donald trump to pelosi and even abrams herself. >> nothing about this make sense. these businesses the reopening are going to force front-line workers back to work without

having contest, without having access to the healthcare system to help them if they are indeed, trying to push of also putting of the economy we risk putting more lives in danger. >> georgia's job growth off the charts. since may of 2021 jobs around by 117,400. in october marks only the fifth time since 1990, that month over month job growth was over 20,000. but aprons can't spin away hard facts. it is red states like georgia that are driving almost all of the nation's job growth now. from the wall street journal the pandemic height and the economic policy differences between the two political parties. the states have provided a market test and gop policies won. the white house is taking credit for the pandemic policy results region florida and georgia. not in new york or california.

stacy abrams cannot lead georgia because she's incapable of telling the truth even when she has been caught on tape. last night she claimed she never contested the election back in 2018. >> on the sixteenth of november when i acknowledged i would not become the governor, that he had won the election i did not challenge the outcome of the election unlike some recent folks did. laura: a 5 outline. >> with knowledge and action is right. i cannot concede. >> why haven't you can see the? >> concession means the process was fair. >> you maintain a 28 election was stolen? >> it was stolen from the voters of georgia. laura: not only did she refused to concede the election, suggests to the new york times in april of 2019 that she got more votes than camp. we call attention to the
12:06 am
1.4 million plus were purged, 53,000 are not processed at the thousands given provisional ballots. you can't count on the fact that abrams we use race to next any law that makes them less prone to froglike the election integrity lot the kemp signed earlier this year. >> it is racist. it is a redux of jim crow in a suit and tie. we know the only thing that precipitated these changes is not that there was a question of security. the only connection we can find is more people of color voted. laura: always race. the woman is untalented, unprincipled and incapable of discussing almost any subject intelligently. if she's not grandstanding on race she's fear mongering about january 6th. >> what we saw happen across the state will be read double starting in january when new state legislatures come back and feel the fervor of the
12:07 am
insurrection filling their veins again, to cast the suppression legislation. laura: filling their veins? how dramatic was abrams like biden falls back on personal anecdotes that don't connect to today's georgia. >> i was from a low-income community, i grew up in mississippi, we moved from mississippi to georgia. they were going for permanent poverty. laura: the truth is african-americans today in georgia are thriving under republican leadership. atlanta is tied with washington dc. forms recent study of where african-americans are doing best economically. what exactly is stacy abrams done to help georgia since she lost in 2018. she led the crusade to push major league baseball all-star game out of atlanta. what did that do? it cost majority black cities in atlanta $70 million in losses.
12:08 am
georgia, this is into close call. why on earth you want to sink into the decline and decay we are seeing in blue states across america. georgians don't need abrams to ride to the rescue. they need her to ride into the sunset and for good. that is the angle. joining me as candace owens, host of the campus owens show and founder of black fit. abrams strictly as not only destructive as a politician but she feels entitled to the governorship. your reaction? >> he does feel entitled. you can say true to her soul in black lives matter activists, i don't mean that in a good way, i mean illogically, thinks she should be the first, people should listen to everything she says because she's a black woman and she has bad policies and let's not forget she's also impossibly corrupt, stacy
12:09 am
abrams's sister was a federal judge who dismissed cleaning up voter bowls in georgia. she wents to get people in voter bowls were not eligible to vote to make sure she can win elections. i can't imagine why any sane individual would want her leading their state unless you are gluttony for crime, going for punishment, you are a fan of the batman we sent want to see what it looks like to live in gotham city. there is no reason any sane person would want to turn georgia into a new york or la situation. people should pay attention because she's very corrupt and very connected and she will do nothing to stop winning. laura: the economy in georgia especially atlanta is doing amazingly well. brian kemp has received a lot of criticism regarding the election. how she handled the election integrity issues but you can't argue with his decision to open
12:10 am
up the state when most other states weren't opening, he opened up first. that propelled his state to a great period of growth. how does she answer that? >> she doesn't. her answer to that is i am a black woman, you are going to thrive under me, the same line. in any circumstances it works for black democratic voters, because somebody look like from that person is going to further the things he needs to get done. that's not true. the evidence is shown in atlanta, thrived under republican leadership and that's because it doesn't matter what your race is in this country, policies that worker policies and ideas this country was founded upon, free-market policies, opening the economy, not forcing businesses to shut down because you have fears about a virus. people make the decision by themselves as individuals, allowing free-market competition
12:11 am
and she stands for the opposite. she believes people should be placed in society according to race. if you are black or a woman you should be ahead of someone because you are white is not the right way to look at an economy, not the right way to look at georgia, people don't understand that. they are at risk of losing everything georgia has had under governor brian kemp. >> look what happened to biden. he chose kamala harris for diversity reasons. that is the only reason he chose her. she is obviously flatlining, she's not popular, she has staff quitting one after the other, the press corps knows she's in big trouble. same thing is going to happen in georgia. abrams has a bigger personality for sure and more celebrity friends but there is a parallel somewhat here, is there not, between the two? >> there definitely is. only thing i will say is you have to give her credit abrams has more personality than kamala. this is a woman that makes hillary clinton look likable. kamala harris - in terms of
12:12 am
wanting to make the conversation about race, not actually focus on policies that work and to think just by showing up and being black or kamala being half black that should be enough and do nothing else, that is a very direct parallel. same idea, that's what they want to see the country become and it is not something republicans believe in. we believe in meritocracy, nothing to do with race. >> stacy abrams looks like she thinks one way to encourage growth in her status through the growth industry of abortion. watch. >> we have seen a retrenchment on voter suppression and that is what we need to take and i'm deeply concerned about the anti-choice laws governor kemp signed in 2019 the throws away jobs and is hurting the state of georgia. laura: is she kidding me? abortion is going to revitalize
12:13 am
an economy that is already drum? >> it is disgusting for a lot of reasons. when you see black american women getting platform and being so vocally in support of abortion knowing it is an industry, planned parenthood, this was founded by eugenicists who believe black americans shouldn't be allowed to procreate, demonstrating tremendous endurance. when you see black americans thank more abortion is like watching turkeys vote for thanksgiving. >> this is a fox news alert. the parent accused comparative the team accused of killing four people at a michigan heiskell in custody. we are going to listen to authorities right now. >> how much manpower went behind this? >> they were here. the officers arrived around 10:00. don't know how long they were here. >> how much manpower went behind this?
12:14 am
us marshals and fbi, is this portion of it -- >> other agencies we contacted, as i indicated the us marshals and the sheriff's department, turn them over to you but regarding power we have a number of victims. it takes as much manpower. the personal and resources for closure and the consequences. the personnel during the closure they need. not just the state but the country. >> is this an abandoned building? >> not an abandoned building. >> any indication? were you surprised they were here.
12:15 am
>> i'm surprised they were here. the department to get them out. >> talk about your officers, another thing you guys are doing? >> i cannot be prouder. they never felt so amazing, the professionalism and what they did here tonight is a sign of that. >> when you say they were in distress, describe more of that. what was going on? >> >> very upset as you can imagine was hard to think they are very distressed, taken into custody.
12:16 am
>> any indication they were aided in getting into the building? >> yes. they were aided and we are looking at that portion of the investigation. amateur division has information sharing with the us marshals and will be share with the sheriff's department. >> there is likely to be charges but again we have two prosecutors involved in that part of it. they will be working over that information. >> someone let them in so they didn't break in. someone let them in. >> any idea what relationship they had with the crumblys, whoever let them in? >> we don't know. we are unpacking that information. we know who this person is. >> facing charges? >> absolutely. >> in the county -
12:17 am
>> very likely but turning overall we have had all the information. >> we don't know. was there any -- >> they were intending to turn themselves in? >> this is indicative of turning yourself in. i don't know. >> the whole concept of see something say something. >> see something say something, our community has been amazing and said thank you for working with us, partnering with us. there have been a number of cases we couldn't have done where we are without our community so thank you very much. >> was someone taken in custody beside the two or is it ongoing? >> ongoing. >> when they were hiding, is that owned by the person who let them in? >> don't know.
12:18 am
i don't know if it was owned or leased by the person who let them in. >> anyone else being questioned at this time actively? >> no one else is in custody yet but we are working an angle on one other person that may have been assisting them. >> thank you so much. >> what you just heard is law enforcement speaking after they took the crumblys, jennifer and james crumbly into custody. if you missed the beginning of that they were found in a commercial building, not an abandoned building and according to law enforcement they were left in so they did not break into this building, they were led into the building. i want to bring back ted williams, former dc police detective and a fox news contributor. i know you can't some of that news conference.
12:19 am
what do you take away from it? >> what i take away is there was some excellent police work and the investigation is continuing but it appears as though the crumblys, jennifer and james, were found in this commercial building. this is not an abandoned commercial building. it is one that is in use. it appears they may very well be a third person involved, it may be someone who knew the crumblys but the detroit police department data tip to surround the building, jennifer and james came out, they were not armed. it is my understanding they have been turned over to the oakland
12:20 am
county police department and that they are now headed back to oakland county. what we've seen here, police officers working together to bring about the arrests of these two individuals who clearly were fugitives and were on the run it appears. >> i still check out before we put the news conference on the air law enforcement also said was a tip that led them to that commercial building, what police said about the people are person who let them into the commercial building. reporters out there have questions because they face charges, they could face charges, that is speculative
12:21 am
right now but that's coming from law enforcement, what type of s could there possibly be, could they face for letting them in and would those -- would they take into consideration if they knew they were on the run? i'm sure news all over the world, the united states is surely they had to have known they were on the run? >> that all is to be determined here, but if, as we know they were clearly considered fugitives from justice and anybody who assisted them very well could be charged so what i'm sure they are doing, trying to determine the role of perhaps a third person the let them into the building to see what was the relationship if any between the
12:22 am
crumblys and the unidentified third person but the third person if it can be shown that he knew that they were fugitives and the third person was in fact helping the crumblys in their escape from that person clearly can be charged with assisting fugitives here but that is going to be a part of the continuing investigation. >> we've gotten a little under a minute and a half or so but i said to know where you see the case going from here. there have been charges filed, there's an investigation, much more investigating needs to be done but where do you see the case going from your? >> where it is going to go now is back to oakland county, and they will, i suspect tomorrow, be arraigned, the question is will they be let out on bail?
12:23 am
i doubt it in light of the they are risk of life, in light of what they've done here and that is leaving the area and running toward detroit and maybe even trying to get to canada. >> anyone joining us, we just heard from police after they took in the crumblys into custody. officers said they got to this building, the commercial building around it 10:30 last night. obviously they were on the run. 10:30 scenes like a pretty quick get, if you would. they said they relied a lot on the community to help them because it was a tip that led them to this commercial building. this is not an abandoned building, this is commercial
12:24 am
building and police officers said the crumblys were, he called it, under duress and distress, obviously upset when they took him into custody to talk about how important it is, if you see something say something. >> absolutely. i was on earlier yesterday on television at fox and i was saying just that, the eyes and ears of the public, i believe was going to be beneficial in bringing these two to justice and after they were led to have drawn $4,000 out of their account, and commit telephones off so that their telephones would not being and give away their location but it is apparent that someone in the public or someone they may have known gave the detroit police a tip.
12:25 am
that to lead to the building where they then set up what we define as a barricade. they knew time was up for them. they decided to come out without a fight. they did not have a weapon and they have now been again turned over to the oakland county sheriff's department and either on their way back to oakland county where they now will face charges. they may face not only charges for the involuntary manslaughter charge but each one of them will face four counties, they now may be considered fugitives and they may face charges for being on
12:26 am
the run and being captured. >> i want to talk about that. now there are two prosecutors involved is that complicate this case anymore? >> know, it does not. because what will happen is the one singular prosecutor that brought the original charges will take over, if they would have left the state of michigan, there would then be more prosecutors involved, there will be a hearing, and exhibition hearing but that does not have to take place in light of the fact that they were found in the state of michigan so all the chief of police in detroit had to do was to contact the oakland county, that is where the school
12:27 am
system is located and they were able to immediately pick them up and bring them back. so now they face arraignment, the one prosecutor who charged them will be the prosecutor who will now be involved. >> we talked 30 minutes ago and i to to go back to this about the father purchasing the gun days before and the potential charges that could go with that or not. what do you as someone who knows a lot about this type of case, could the dad face any more charges because he brought the gun that was used in this school shooting days prior?
12:28 am
>> since the investigation is continuing there is always a likelihood that there could be more charges but from what we know, on november 20 sixth james took his son even to the gun dealer in that area meaning outside the michigan area. they purchased the gun. the next day, jennifer, it is alleged, went shooting with ethan, they talked about the fact that this was ethan's christmas present. shortly thereafter, ethan is at school. one of the instructors saw him looking at his phone, bullets perhaps to be used, that
12:29 am
instructor, that teacher reported him to the school system. the next day, as we know, another instructor saw - what seems to be very very dangerous in nature because the writing seems to say he himself, ethan, needed help, but also talked about ability seen. the instructor took a screenshot, turned that over to the school board. when i say the school board, to the school authorities at that school. they then called the parents in, jennifer and james came to the school. there was this meeting. as a result of the meeting they agreed within 48 hours they
12:30 am
would get even some counseling. what happened here was they did not ask for his gun or where the gun was. they did not do any kind of a search. even was permitted to go back to his classroom. one of the things i didn't talk about was when they found ethan looking for the ammunition online shortly thereafter there was a text message by jennifer to ethan where she told him something to the effect, be careful. i am not mad at you but be careful how you go about looking for this ammunition but the next day, let me go forward a little bit. the next day, ethan goes into a
12:31 am
restaurant with his backpack. it is believed the gun could very well have been in his backpack. he came out firing. he killed four of the students there. he wounded 7 others. law enforcement officers immediately converged on the scene. ethan gave himself up right away. but in the meantime there was an email that was sent from jennifer probably to ethan where she said don't do it, ethan, don't do it. as a result of that email which is going to be very essential in the prosecution here, because as we now know they have been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter so the investigation in and of itself is continuing.
12:32 am
>> thank you once again for being with us and unpacking this this morning. we are going to go now to former fbi investigator bill daley. we spoke to him earlier when this news came down. can you hear me? so with law enforcement let's go to the police talking about catching them in this commercial building, from your experience, what do you see happening next as far as the person or people who potentially, this is all speculative but according to police, what we just heard from them they said they could absolutely potentially face charges since they were on the run. >> a couple things.
12:33 am
first of all, very good police work to identify them and locate them using sources or technology to find out where they may have been but someone was harboring or aided and abetting these two people they certainly could face charges in those behaviors, help them escape or hide or give them access even if it was kind of minor. dating exhibiting these fugitives. that individual, individuals could face charges in addition to other charges the parents are facing and as ted williams laid out a good chronology. as best we know at this time there are still underlying
12:34 am
questions we have with regard to what led them to give the child a weapon for this child even though the father was the alleged purchaser and owner of it, what access did he have to it, why didn't they know where it was? should have been under lock and key, in a cabinet or some other location and not having access to it. and if there's this chronology where school officials and or parents knew he was on the cusp, very much concerned, the actions that they took or did not take come into question as the case unfolds. right now it is in the evidentiary every phase. we have the tragic crime scene over these four children who have been killed but in addition
12:35 am
to that, other crime scenes that need to be investigated at home, capturing devices or do analysis on computers and cell phones and another scene is where they were captured. not an actual crime but the location where they hold up and who aided and abetted them, access to the men's what were their plans, was anyone else in the wings to help them, the state of the country. >> thank you for being with us. early this morning, to unpack that, we appreciate it. for those just now joining us the parents of the team accused of killing four in a michigan high school are in custody. we just heard from police, they were found in commercial buildings. we will keep following this throughout the morning. stick with fox news channel for this story.
