>> absolutely they do lawrence. you see, this was the guy who ran on unity and the speech as you laid out was about as divisive as we have ever seen from a sitting president. they also need a new holiday, you know, the fourth thursday in november which is thanksgiving it's racist. 4th of july that's supposed to be 1619 now that's racist. you heard what kamala harris said. the howard zen that world war ii kind of mix should we fight it not sure. what should we do with pearl harbor. 9/11 a little bit politically incorrect we talk about that. they need a new date. they have decided that january 6th is the way in which they will impugn their political opponents based on a mostly peaceful protest. just using their words from the summer of 2020, mostly peaceful protest on capitol hill. and they do it because they have nothing else, lawrence, as you said to talk about. what are they going to talk about? crushing the virus that's raging? what are they going to talk about dealing with violence

that's raging? what are they going to talk about shutting down the border that's wide open? what are they going to talk about putting our kids back in class when they are not? i could go issue by issue, inflation? they don't have anything else to talk about. they go to a voting rights bill which has nothing to do with voting rights and everything to do with solidifying the changes, extra constitutional changes they made to voting because of covid in 2,000. it's all a sham. >> lawrence: it's shameful. dana, good to see you my friend. i'm glad you are recovered and back on tv, back on air. >> thank you. >> lawrence: i got to ask you. seemed to be there is this connection now between that they wanted to go after the voting base. they said donald trump's name but they meant you, the american people. you, the people that decided to support the america first agenda, right? >> yeah. i mean, lawrence, that's exactly what i took away from it. this day has been so incredibly surreal. i think this is one of the stupidest days in american history because we are being gaslit as a nation.

hear the president say the pandemic of the unvaccinated. i think it's the pandemic of stupid big government, that's as flourishy i'm going to get as with that description. lawrence, think of this. there are people on the right who are kind of going in with these talking points as well. when you look at january 6th, it was a riot that got out of control. a group of people broke away from a larger peaceful protest, i really don't think that our country was on the cutting edge of getting overthrowned by a lamping buffalo headed cop playing guy who needed to have what i think it was organic food in jail and threw a fit until his mom brought it some dude took selfies walking around the capitol drinking a coors. i was offended it was a coors will beer. those are not the people overthrow the government. people bombed the senate building in the 1980s, bill clinton at jerry nadler pardoned the people involved in it who are now fundraising for leftist organizations. that wasn't a terrorist attack? this apparently is a terrorist attack. all rise for terrorist attacks,

that's what is so frustrating about so many people. they look at two different events at two different years and they realize that maximum political judicial pressure and arrests have been made based on what happened on january 6th. in every conceivable possible way except for the people in there helping instigate it who have not been arrested. and where are the two people who put the bombs in front of the rnc and dnc. >> lawrence: what about afghanistan? where is that vigil? >> if they believed there would be vigils about real things, this is a vigil for what they believe is the altar of their power. and that's why they -- who are they praying to? the gods of climate change? themselves, the democratic party? nancy pelosi? i don't know. but it's not -- it's not the lord and savior that our founders put the trust in because it was we the people. rights endowed by a creator. that's not what they're talking about. >> lawrence: dana? >> where is the vigil for david dorn. all the business owners who lost their businesses over the past

year in the terrorist attacks that were encouraged by the now president and vice president saying that this was -- the 2016 was illegitimate election? where is the vigil for the americans' trust in our public institutions that our democrats have worked overtime the past five years now to undermine. have a vigil let's have a vigil for real things. quick note, conservatives and republicans have always been so incredibly consistent in not defending unprotected like actions that are not considered protected speech, arson,assault, vandalism, et cetera. i really wish the left could join us and end that instead of, i don't know, promoting these bail funds for people who have been caught in the act of destroying black communities like the vice president had done. so, i mean, really, look, we have been consistent in that and i am not and nor should anyone else, lawrence, allow for democrats or the media to use a small group of people who broke away from overall large peaceful protest and use them as a cudgel, this is a oppressive

campaign attorney feeted out this prediction saying this before the midterm election we will have a serious discussion about whether individual republican house members are disqualified by section 3 of the 14th amendment from serving in congress. we may even see litigation. here to react missouri g.o.p. senator josh hawley. senator, i'm going to you on this first because you are supposed to be the man at the center of this. you are the one who led these people to the capitol. you are the first person on that hit list. what is your response? >> well, i think it's absolutely absurd and it's all part of the politics of fear that is all the democrat party has to offer this country. they have governed this way for an entire year. this is the party that turned the fbi on parents, at school board meetings. this is the party that says that you are a domestic terrorist if you question their policies. this is the party ha has worked overtime to deplatform conservatives, to silence them, to shut down free speech. it's crazy what they are trying to do. the reason they are doing it, lawrence, they are not popular,

the american people see their agenda, they reject their agenda, they reject the crime wave that this party, the democrat party is responsible for all across the country. the inflation. the out of control spending. they reject all of that the democrats know that and come november i think the american people are going to have their say. >> lawrence: what are you going to do to fight for the american people? because, it's one thing for the people that actually committed acts of violence and rioted, but there has even been a movement to go after people that were just there. they were at the rally earlier that day. they didn't even go to the capitol. they want to know if their elected officials are going to protect their civil liberties. >> yeah. that is such a great point. and let me just say this: it is a constitutional right to engage in peaceful, political demonstrations and the thousands, tens of thousands of people that came to washington last january 6th and have now been harassed by the fbi, have had people knock on their doors, threaten them. that is crazy and it is wrong. it is wrong to go after law abiding citizens who were

engaging in their constitutional rights and i will continue to fight that at every turn. listen, you know, on january 6th, a year ago, i objected to the state of pennsylvania because they didn't follow their own election laws. their supreme court changed the rules of the voting during the election, that was wrong then. it is wrong today. i hope we never see that again in american history. but to attempt to use that as an excuse and to use last january 6th as an excuse to go after law-abiding citizens and shut down speech you don't like, that's just plain unamerican and that's what this administration is trying to do. lawrence, i can tell you they are not going to get by with this. the american people aren't going to stand for it. >> lawrence: senator, i only have a few seconds left with you. will you have be on the ballot this upcoming election cycle? >> not until 2024 is when i'm on the ballot again in the state of missouri. and i look forward to serving the people of missouri in the next two years. we have a lot to do. and it begins withstanding up to joe biden's anti-democratic, anti-constitutional agenda. >> lawrence: and if there is a

>> lawrence: welcome back. the democrats continue to show how tone deaf they are. the convicted boston marathon bomber received a stimulus check $1,400 back in march. this shouldn't surprise anyone though. cleared the path for this to happen after they brushed off an amendment to american rescue plan that would have blocked convicted inmates from getting stimulus checks in the first place. here now former white house deputy chief of staff and fox news contributor karl rove. so, karl, i want you to weigh in on this because i know you study politics, you track these races and it looks like 2022 is god going to be blood bath. no matter who going to be the president joe biden or kamala somehow becomes president the going to get some major gains. what are they going to do with that power? there is a lot of folks in the audience and a lot of folks feel like that the leaders fighting for them. >> yeah. well, i would say two things, you have got two issues here. first, let's take the issue of

the democrats and the stupidity of saying the boston marathon bomber ought to get a stimulus check. look, this problem emerged last year in 2020 under president trump we passed relief to people and come to find out, because of the way the bill was written, that we found out after the fact that people who were in prison got checks. and this became a big kerfluffle. so when they got ready to pass a similar round of stimulus checks in 2021, we already knew that this had happened. and so the amendment was offered by the republicans, and every single democrat voted against it why are? because dick durbin stood up and said we don't want to hurt the families of the people had prison. by denying them a check we are going to deny their family a check as if the people in prison were oosm particularly going to give the money to whatever, their spouse, their kids, whatever. so, this was a stupid vote. and why the democrats made

the -- made their members vote for it, now you are going to have mark kelly in arizona and warnock in georgia having to go home and defend giving money to the boston marathon bomber as part of the covid relief. they are in jail. what are they going to spend that money on? more commissary privileges? why the democrats do things like this is beyond me. but it is stupid. but, the second issue is one where we better make certain those of us who are conservatives and republicans better make certain that their party and its candidates get their act together. virginia shows us the way. glenn youngkin won not by simply saying look how bad biden is doing it. he had an agenda look this is what i'm going to do to improve the economy, crack down on crime and to elevate the education of our kids. so whether it's the economy, whether it's inflation, whether it's government spending, whether it's foreign affairs, whether it's immigration, republican candidates better have a concrete idea of what

they want to do and share that with the voters in their states and their districts. otherwise, we are not going to wins a many -- republicans will not wins a many victories as they would otherwise receive. >> lawrence: seems like the ground game is going to be essential. i was in virginia two months before the election. it didn't look like it was going youngkin kin wants way it really didn't. talking with people. didn't know who he was. he continued to go out there, talk with voters about the issue that mattered to them. it wasn't just crt. it was the fact that the parents wanted more control of the education. they were tired about their kids being at home and that mattered to them. if you are not talking to the voters, you really can't make that case to them. >> yeah. absolutely. i happened to have a conversation with the candidate in, i believe it was early october, he had been down on the tide water the night before for a big rally and that morning he began historically black college in the tide water. and met with the president of the university and then met with a bunch of students. what was the number one issue

democrats remain more focused on masking than punishing the people who harm us. this week a violent mob ransacked a california jewelry store in broad daylight. the thieves forced their ways in smashed the glass counters and took what they wanted. police say 8 to 10 people were involved in the robbery. and as of today, no one has been arrested. we don't even know how hard they are looking. but this isn't surprising. crime is clearly not a priority for the leaders in the state of california. after all, they have more important things to focus on. like controlling you. because at the same time this robbery was taking place, what were they doing? passing a rule to extend the state's mask mandate. joining me now to react host of just listen to yourself podcast kira davis. i hope you are feeling well my friend. you live in california. does this surprise you that while robberies are happening, crime is all over the place, that they want to give the criminals more tools. now. >> no, this is what they -- this

is life in california. the criminals get the tools, the drug addicts get the breaks. and it's law abiding citizens that get punished. whether you are talking about prop 47 which is a disastrous crime bill which really is responsible for the rash of crimes we are seeing now or whether you are talking about covid restrictions, for the elites like the governor himself can go have dinner with his friends at the french landry maskless and in a crowd of 22 people and the rest of us have to be confined to our homes and shut down our business. keep our kids at home. you know, the double standards are crazy. in california, the criminal is the taxpayer. that is who gets punished. that is who is always on the losing end of things. no, it doesn't surprise me, and i hardly even have the will to be enraged about it anymore, lawrence. you know, it's almost like it's just this is life.

>> lawrence: being someone from texas and new york city. different and vote for the same leadership despite what they give them. so, as someone that lives in california, and interacts with the folks there, why do you think they stick with the same leadership that is quite frankly been very harmful to them and their families? >> there is -- it's such a complicated question and i know we don't even have time to answer that here. it's a lot more nuanced than people think it is. first of all, i need people to understand that california is actually a red state. we have three of the largest cities in the country. we have san diego, we have los angeles, and we have san francisco, you travel 3, 4, 5 miles outside of l.a. city lines, and you are in conservative territory. i myself live in orange county. we are in conservative territory. you come here, it's a whole different world than los angeles. people aren't wearing masks. people have kept their businesses open through the pandemic. school districts are more

conservative here. we haven't bent to the state on a lot of issues. so, we're living different lives here in california but we are outnumbered by the city city dwellers. the other thing is unions run elections here. they pump a lot of money into elections and they get to set the rules. which is why l.a., usc is looking at another school closure even though here in orange county we are not really considering it at all. so there is that aspect of it as well then we have this weird thing called ballot harvesting which is in this federal bill that joe biden is trying to have past. lets people go collect ballots after election day and they can -- you can collect a ballot from a home as a political party and help the person fill out the ballot and take the ballot to the ballot box for them. so, it's just ripe for cheating and then we don't have voter i.d. laws here and, in fact, it

there is a clear case for conservative leadership. i have checked your website. you seem like a common sense guy. so, why do the political insiders say it's a long shot for you, sir? >> well, thanks for having me. happy new year to you and all your audience. i wouldn't say long shot. anybody getting into a race these days has a lot to deal with. but i'm ready for the fight. >> lawrence: make the case for the audience today, for the folks that are in wisconsin right now. why should they turn to you? >> well, 20 years in business as a business, small business owner. also worked and the only candidate that has actually been in multiple administrations at senior level working directly for republican governors. i have seen firsthand what common sense conservative leadership can do in this state. and i know that we are desperately in need of it now that we have got an absentee governor governor evers today. thirdly i believe we have to take the message all across the

state, including to communities of color. you just were talking about some of the smash-and-grabs that's going on in california. we have seen a 9% increase in violent crime in wisconsin between 19 -- 2019 and 2020. and actually 70% higher than the national average for that time frame. and, indeed, we actually had in milwaukee, we actually had the highest homicide rate in 2020 and it was actually already broken in 2021. so, people are really yearning for common sense conservative leadership. i will go every neighborhood. i will make sure the communities of color that have been disproportionately impacted by violence, they get a chance to hear our positive message as karl rove talked about and the solutions that we have to offer to them. >> lawrence: william, it was a pleasure talking with you, sir. we will be following your campaign. hopefully you will come back and see us. >> thanks. and i hope that your audience will check out www will for lt

added to anybody who is not boosted. the boosted will be treated like the unvaccinated. that is just a matter of weeks from happening. >> lawrence: you know, buck, i have been really surprised because i have seen a lot of commentators even on tv that are surprised that end up getting covid because they believed these politicians, they believed all these scientists. but if we are being honest the scientists always knew you could still get covid. they just refused to tell the american people the truth because they wanted them to get the vaccine, right? >> we have been having alex berenson on the clay travis and buck sexton show for months, and he had this amazing secret at looking at the data in israel and the u.k. because they have better data and also they were a little bit ahead of us in terms of their vaccination schedule, particularly in the case of israel. and see that vaccine failure to stop the spread was a very apparent thing. this was true months ago. when joe biden was saying that
