said forget about the no cash bail thing. there's no statistics to show that zero cash bail has anything to do with crime and recidivism. what is your thoughts on that? >> we've seen no cash bail has people released, commit another crime within hours while the police officers are still in the precinct doing paperwork. so i think the governor should do some greater research on that. if you want to talk about one of the biggest failures you've seen, the inability of a judge to remanned without bail. look at hour our bronx rape suspect that returned to the scene of a crime and went to the victim's apartment. the failed that victim and that individual. that individual should have been remanneded. should not have been let out. probably needed mental health assistant but wasn't. the judge had no discretion.

we were to be passive and allow the ukraine to be overwhelmed by russia, whether militarily or otherwise, what does that mean for latvia, lithuania, poland, hungary? a lot of countries around russia that used to be part of the soviet union. from everything we know, putin as a former kgb agent would like to create as much of the solve yet empire as much as he can. the biden administration is trapped in a situation where they have to find ways to both strengthen ukraine, not only american troops but supplies and training. they have to send signals to moscow that the sanctions will be so severe that combined with the military costs of trying to occupy -- ukraine is a big country. the combination of the two leads putin to decide to do something else for a while.

>> brian: welcome back, everybody. mask madness mania, to find governor young guns order to make mask optional. seven school board's head to court claiming "the order violates the constitution. it all comes as mask lists don't make maskless separated from their mask class threatened with suspension. a loudoun county parent is fed up but what is the situation with your daughter? >> my daughter is in eighth grade. and she, along with about 20 other kids have been segregated in the auditorium. if they want to go to their locker, they are escorted by a sheriff. so it is a really interesting dynamic here they are segregated here they are not allowed transportation, and they are not eating lunch with their peers who are eating mask lists.

so a very interesting dynamic. >> brian: i know what you mean by that. it is so aggravating. she said "i want to get the best education without being interrupted. with the mask, i can't breathe with it and i get headaches in school. it is we are to require kids to wear but if you go to a grocery store, movie theater, it's not required." plus she has asthma, right? >> our youngest little guy has asthma. he is in the first grade. so, that is exacerbated his breathing and it has caused all sorts of trouble. he's been on a nebulizer a couple of times a day for the past two years. so this is more than just, you know, "hey, we don't want to wear a mask." there is other dynamics to the conversation being completely ignored. >> brian: such idiocy and the report cloth masks are basically ineffective and can make you 5% safer. that comes out and we are

pretending like that isn't a titanic conclusion that we have come up with? >> yeah, it is surprising that they would go to such effort when the risk is certainly not there. and to be at a time when they are segregating, discriminating, creating psychological warfare with children that have nothing to do with this conversation. you know, even our daughter, multiple times in her school has told "kiddo, you need to pull your mask all the way over your nose" you could kill someone right now. we are disheartened by the punitive way in which they are handling this. there is a new executive order. we have followed every rule, every law, and we intend to follow this one as well. >> brian: right, but in the meantime, we have to wait for the courts to sort this out.

two people, do you think anyone is taken into the emotional scar of these kids? can you give me an idea how your kids have change last year and a half, two years? >> well, for our littlest guy, this is his only educational experiences through pandemic. and so, it puts them on edge when you go out and they are asking, "do we put on a mask now? or they say, you don't need to." are youngest guy had a medical exemption last year because his asthma was so bad. i'm embarrassed to say, it didn't occur to me to suggest to remove the mask. a better physician said, "this has to come off." when we return to school, we presented the note. there was no pushback. he went in and parents are not allowed in the school. we handed the note. he got out of the car with the

note, and he went on. so when they called us, you know, at the end of the day, they had put a mask on him and told us they would not honor it. so now, he polices himself here or there a lot of anxiety that comes with the damage that is done. and again, at this point, a new executive order has been passed. we have followed everything before. why would we not follow this one as we did in the past? >> brian: right. teachers are worried and let them put a n-95 masks and that is why you elected governor young can ahead of these people in your school. thank you for telling your story, abby, thank you. >> thank you so much for taking the time. >> brian: absolutely. we reached out to loudoun county public school for a statement but did not hear back. straight ahead tens of thousands across the northeast without power after this weekend's big

storm. record-setting snow falling along the east coast and more might be on the way. i want to check in with my senior meteorologist, janice dean, who does not believe isa don't like shoveled snow this week. i need to get proof. we need to get don on the phone. let's look at the current temperatures while brianne calls don and make sure he did shovel snow this weekend. temperatures across florida are still quite cold. we have freeze advisories but warm the temperatures up over the next 12-48 hours. the next big storm system across the plains states, this will stretch from the great lakes all the way down towards parts of texas and towards the rockies, the southern rockies. this will be a pretty big deal, spanning 3,000 miles. temperatures not only cold, but we could see the potential for ice. accumulating ice on the roads, carolinas that will not be good and thin potential for more snow. keeping us whether people in
