people on the left realized that sports had been pretty conservative endeavor, messaging, the values of sports align with conservatives them. sports tied to religion, coaches prayed before and after the games. i think the left figured out that we have to move and change sports for going to get our message out to in a way. so it started before this but i said early on in 2016 when kaepernick started kneeling, i was like, he's the trojan horse. he's going to empower the left to basically take over the sports world, and they've done that. he change the entire discussion around sports by kneeling. created the opportunity for the sports media to come in behind

him. and support what he's doing and making this really polarizing issue that if you don't support kaepernick, you're a racist. and to the next thing you know, roger goodell and the nfl, they start to fold. they don't want to be criticized by the left, by "the new york times," by social media. so they started incorporating all the black lives matter sloganeering and messaging into their endeavors. now when you look at the nba or the nfl, the commercial breaks, the slogans on the back of helmets and on the field, it's all the blm, marxist stuff, all the leftists stop fake right into the game. we're using sports to move people politically and to redefine american patriotism. so sports used to be this great

celebration of the best values of america on and now they have turned into a platform for the very wealthy athlete to wake thr finger at america and say, you know, you screwed over black people and people of color. you screwed over the gay community. you screwed over everybody. it's been pretty brilliant the way sports have been manipulated. >> tucker: amazing conversation with jason whitlock. my personal favorite. him describing how he became jason whitlock growing up in indianapolis. great conversation. you get it free at tuckercarlson.com. we'll be right back.
