crime is in the top five concern of all americans. >> jesse: democrats are like "we will save you from covid, but you are on your own with crime." joe is trying to throw cash at the situation. you know those guys in the movies that take a wad of cash and throw it in your face and say "shut up, buy yourself new squad cars?" that's what the democrats do. afghanistan, the public education system, the war on poverty: "here's $1 trillion, now stop complaining." they say republicans "don't care as much as we do. take the money and shut up." right now, you can buy every single officer in the country x-ray vision, a drug sniffing dog, and have them walk around with a stack of cash and it wouldn't do a damn thing because the d.a. will let guys walk, the laws will let both walk. until you fix that, throwing cash around is not a strategy.

that is their problem. everybody who works there is protected with armed security. you knew a police officer -- all of us do -- you would not have fallen for this anti-police narrative. i think the white-collar elitism, not understand the cops and their problems -- people are in this denial or delusion and do not live where the crime is. this false reporting that it was hunting season on blacks by cops made it worse in the areas where there was black on black crime. there's a study now that shows that democrats believe that cops killed 1,000 black people when it was unarmed, maybe between 11-24 over the year. that's the way it was reported. roughly 50% of homicides -- now, they can't focus on that area. they cannot focus on that, which

created more black on black crime, because they are not theyare. who the george floyd effect, the ferguson effect? who caused cops to retreat from areas they were needed most? it was the media, black lives matter, the activists. now, you have thousands of black people who are dead that shouldn't be, and it's on their doorstep. >> dana: interesting when you mentioned the police officers. we had a young woman on from the police department in san francisco. she has been a 25 years, decided to leave. one of her big complaints -- the d.a. out there basically, somebody in his evidence , office is withholding evidence about the case. they are calling it misconduct by the d.a., because they are not protecting the police. >> jeanine: no surprise. when you have these prosecutors, their home mission is to release the criminals. they have no interest in

protecting the victims. if the victim happens to be a police officer, then it's an even worse situation. but this guy ignore everything that has to do with it with his situation, but i think what is amazing about jen psaki and the democrats is her response to that initial -- you know, these people are in an alternate universe -- she says there was $350 million in the american rescue plan, and "the washington post" gave it three at pinocchio's when she said "that money could have gone to police, and not one republican voted for." here is your response. that response is "that money was not earmarked for police. it could have been used for any number of things, and police were not specifically mandated to receive that money." that's number one. number two, what we've got now is -- merrick garland is coming to new york city tomorrow, along with the governor and the president. they are going to come in and say "we are going to take care of you all, protect you all."
