tv   The Ingraham Angle  FOX News  February 9, 2022 12:00am-1:00am PST

12:00 am
the time we have left this evening. as always, weng thank you for making the show possible. thank you for being with us. we hope you'll set dvr so you never miss an episode ofof hannity. you could always watch it in the morning. i put you to sleep. that's wouldn't be good. in the meantime, let not your hearts be trouble. laura ingraham takes it right where my presence they didn't come in the mail today. the package is en route meaning route. it should get there. i don't have the number for me. yeah it should get there next year at some point. given the given the way things are going to see the post office go. exactly. but i think it's the right size. i'm looking at you if you gained a few now you're very trim so it's going to look strong. yeah, look great. so hannity you've got to give me you've got to give me the review once you get them. okay, so that'll probably be tomorrow, i hope. i don't know what you're i don't know what you're up to. i really don't know but it's no good coming out this year.
12:01 am
i can sense it now. you got it. freedom matters. great show as always. have a great show. we'll see you tomorrow. i'm laura ingram . this is ingraham angle from washington tonight . machsom masks off. >> that's the focus of tonight's @ngel. >> all right. prediction new york governor kathy hochul going to be celebrated in the press tomorrow for dropping her idiotic mask requirements for businesses only what was in leadership she's demonstrated not so fast as democrat governors are scrambling to cover their tracks by slowly dropping their math mandates. we must never, ever forget what these people did to us . go to the phones right now.
12:02 am
>> that viral video from the early days, the pandemic was a sign of very bad things to come film just about a month after dr. fauci insisted max weren't necessary, it blew st. mary's and left wing governors slavishly followed unelected federal health expert and started treating us like guinea pigs anyway. >> no more . yeah, this guy's got a lot less friendly all because our so-called expert class got a two ply piece of cloth was going to prevent covid transmission in one seat away. >> surely you can't be serious . >> i am serious and don't call me shirley. surely we won't let them slink away after what they did even to our little ones.
12:03 am
>> we just got kicked the because our two year old wouldn't put on a mask and we're banned for being forever because a two year old would not put on a mask the damage that they left and their power tripping wake using their emergency authority to enforce a new normal. we never like that phrase a new normal that was never grounded in science and which turned american against american airlines. we became a nation of masks neches this massive crowd again, not many of them wearing a mask. >> i spoke to the tampa police and i asked them what are you doing about this now? >> when it became cool to report uncovered violators to be at covid tattletale, you knew we were in trouble here and then biden thought he'd placate all of you by asking
12:04 am
for just one hundred days i'm asking which turned into a year. but none of this ever matter did it for the elites in the well connected like gavin newsom at the french laundry and the obamas and the heat of the delta wave celebrating barack sixtieth with a blowout bash in the vineyard. no masks, no problem. these celebrity of hypocrites always had an explanation though, didn't they , for violating the rules of regular people still had to abide by a word about the entire game and people ask for a photograph. my i put it here and people could see this , but during this massive nightmare, the rest of america was still denied entrance to bars and kicked out of gyms and even chased off beaches. >> they'll betrayed by you personally just this is america. so this are you personally just inside, you know, and the entire time the bureaucrats
12:05 am
and the politicians who claim to care so much about children's health only let the kids back into the classrooms if they wore filthy bacteria filled mass for several hours a day filled by the public health office. all we're asking is that we work in safe if or condition. but then that wasn't good enough either because suddenly the goalposts shifted again. the cloth and the surgical masks at some point just stop working. i guess we just needed ninety fives and can ninety five we continue to take additional steps to ensure that americans have what they need to protect themselves, including by making hundreds of millions and ninety five mask available for free to all americans. have you ever gotten yours? we haven't as usual abidance right on time just in time for omicron to kind of fade away and even liberal governors to announce that they're slowly dropping the mandates.
12:06 am
now long ago the angle told you that the democrats would only pull the mask mandates when they decided that the issue was hurting them politically. well, that time has governors murphy of new jersey, ned lamont of connecticut, jon corzine of delaware, gavin newsom of california, now kathy hochul of new york . what we're not celebrating your vision or your covered stewardship. we're outing you for your cynical, destructive, ineffective, meaningless device and frankly illegal abuse of power these past two years. here's a california versus texas covid case is look like on a graph. the green is texas. you get a point. the math mandates made no difference. dropping them isn't about cases declining. it's about democrats chances in november declining, although apparently the white house is willing to sacrifice the midterms with masks.
12:07 am
>> cdc continues to recommend that any ask is better than no math . there is a really important tool to stop the spread, especially about highly transmittable omicron burisma guidance is very clear, which is that we recommend masking in schools. that is the recommendation from the cdc. >> they just can't stop themselves and they call the america first fanatics. meanwhile, don't let any of the math commissar's off the hook instead. remember they forced to unmask students to be corralled into mini isolation centers or kicked out of school altogether or even threatened with criminal trespassing charges. so one by one they can drop their mandates, but we will never drop our demands for accountability until they're all driven from office once and for all. and that's the angle. joining me now is victor davis hanson. hoover institution senior fellow, and mollie hemingway,
12:08 am
editor in chief of the federalist and fox news contributor. victor, i was looking back on some of these videos in the septa, which is a bus system in philadelphia, agents ripping this marsalis guy off. it looks like something out of china. i think we we've experienced so much these past few years we forgot just how bad these people were so consistently for so long. yeah, i think the omicron variant really ironically showed that their science was so out of date and antiquated because they told us just get the vaccination and you're not infectious and you're not you can't be infected. you can't be infectious even with three shots you can mitigate the symptoms. but that whole vaccination narrative has been weakened. and then the second one was the lockdown will protect you. but this variant is so easily transmissible it go anywhere. and then this idea that in addition to that you don't you
12:09 am
know, you're going to get very ill. it's not as lethal as trustafarian and there's therapeutics. so it allows the individual to make decisions that we were told were impossible and not proper or legal. second thing is from the very beginning of this pandemic is weaponizes. it destroyed the lockdown, destroyed a booming january two thousand twenty economy and they were they didn't want flat in the curve. they wanted to use it. and then the campaign and election or the change voting laws to to really harm the chances don't trump and then never in their right mind did they think that this thing would linger and the vaccinations wouldn't be the magic bullet. and now the same process in reverse and it's really starting to hurt them both the economy and most importantly this next midterm and presidential elections are going to hinge on swing voter and the suburban voter and they are the people who are most irate. they see their kids schools being ruined and their
12:10 am
education for two years devastated middle class people have to work. moms can't work. they have to be home here where we are in california of hispanic business, people have been put out of business and these people are being hectored by because elites that are zooming and came out they did very well. got to get mike lindell the democrats have stacey abrams, molly addressed her math class photo op earlier tonight . watch. >> i took a picture and that was the mistake protocols matter in protecting our kids is the most important thing and anything that can be perceived undermining that is a mistake. and i apologize. my responsibility i am lucky enough to be the next governor of georgia is to look at the science, to follow the protocols and to set the right example and right now that example is that we wear masks whenever possible, but we recognize that we can't be a hard line about this because situations change. molly, they're opening the doors. we've heard a number of times to bring back the masks even when the masks are dropped.
12:11 am
your reaction to abrams backpedal tonight ? well, i just first of all find it interesting that she claimed that anyone who criticized her for not just one picture unmap but many pictures of her unmasked while children were forced to be masked in her presence. she said that was racism and now she's apologizing for it. so i wonder if you know how that how that switch so suddenly for her . but this claim that there is scientific basis for forcing masking of children and that the science has suddenly changed on that tonight . and i don't need to force masking on children. that's not actually true throughout the world there was not forced masking of school children. it was something that happened in the united states. the burden of proof for such draconian lockdown measures like shutting down the economy, forced mandates of vaccination and forced masking that burden of proof was never met by these people and they should not be listened to ever again about anything given how horribly
12:12 am
they handled the response to what was a very bad global pandemic. i think this point, victor, of accountability is something that fair minded people have to keep in mind. i mean, we're for persecuting anyone. everyone makes mistakes. we get that. but this just this wasn't an innocent mistake. these are smart people. they knew exactly what they were doing from beginning to end and the abuse continues to this day of people with whom they disagree continues to deplatform them, et cetera. whether convicted by their own words. we saw the email communications with the head of the cdc, anthony fauci, trying to suppress the story of the wound on lab. we have known that from the beginning we could have had a head start on a pandemic. they were so worried about being accused of gain of function research if they suppress the truth. and we saw neil ferguson at the london the epidemiologist
12:13 am
in london who was modeling all of these fantastic and really fantastic. you know, they were just completely bankrupt idea that millions were going to die within a few months and they quoted him chapter and verse. he's never apologized for it. he's never apologized. he told us that travel bans originally wouldn't work and mask were kind of superfluous. they kept changing the narrative as they win and every time they changed it, they kept getting angrier. we didn't believe them. all they had to do was say, you know, show a little bit of humility and say we don't know the answers yet. we're doing our best. they never did that . they were dogmatic and now they're suffering the wages of their own arrogance. the mask became a religious expression, something akin to religious expression for the last mile. and many are still clinging to it, including the teachers union. their boss, randi weingarten, still siding with the teachers over the students watch applecross and stopping teaching of honest history.
12:14 am
the vast debate putting them into being mass police. all of this , they are exhausted. it is the hardest year. we thought last year was hard. this is the hardest year ever. now it's hard. i stand at home zooming in classes, exhausting reaction . know what the teachers unions did to families in this country is unforgivable. and i say that is the daughter of a union member who is a public school teacher who was livid at what she saw her former union do. this is exactly what we're talking about. it's true that masking in some context really is useful, not thinking about the downside of masking when you're talking about young children who need to learn and need to be able to see their teacher's lips in order to understand how to read, you know, learning facial expressions, having all of the good things that come from human interaction with each other. we have done a horrible
12:15 am
disservice to our children in this country and i fear what they will do when they when they realize what what this country put them through for years unnecessarily and now you finally see people kind of agreeing that they need to get out of this . but you even see the teachers unions still sticking with some of these draconian mandates that are not necessary victor. i don't think they realize that they really kicked the hornet's nest to dovetail off what molly just said. the unions don't get it. they still think this is april of 2020 and parents are cowering at home trying to go over lesson plans with their kids and their patient. i don't think they they don't get it. parents are livid. they want their kids taught regular history, not lies and not demonization, racial demonization. and most parents want the math gone. they don't get it. we saw that with the virginia parents on the critical race theory and the trucker strike.
12:16 am
they live in a world where they control silicon valley, the corporate media and wall street professional sports universities do 12 , but that's not the people. so they hear that echo chamber and they get more confident, more arrogant. they see each other and they're in the same class, this bi coastal elite. but they have no idea that beneath their noses there's a whole revolution going on of middle class people and they're losing support daily and they know it but they they're ideologues so they can admit it and it can't change. so they're going to have a reckoning i think in november . the reckoning victor and molly, thank you so much. and joining me now is dr. peter mccullough, epidemiologist, cardiologist based in dallas, texas. dr. mccullough, now i want to quickly talk about the hurt feelings of the covid experts who botched so much from the very beginning. so after two years, dr. mccullough of them wailing on you and anyone a lot of us who questioned a lot of their covid views, one of
12:17 am
the worst offenders of baylor, dr. peter hotez, is very upset at us . >> watch my head fox news target me for two nights last week and it's very scary when that happens. this has become part of the new news aspect of what the far right has been doing, not only working to discredit the scientists, the science, but actually discrediting individual science and going after them. so this is a tough time to be a scientist, as we say, often wrong, never in doubt. >> what's the lesson they want us to learn here, doc? you know, i tell you, i think each and every physician needs to have a great degree of humility. this has been a rapidly developing pandemic over the last two years. the information cycle is tremendous. i think fox has done a great job with its panel of medical advisors that have been true to the data have cited the data you just saw what i thought was masked chaos in the prior section of the show and it
12:18 am
should have been clear once the studies showed that the virus was not transmitted asymptomatically cow and made well showed that the masks should have come off the randomized trials disproved any effectiveness of masking well, people. and what we need to do from this point forward is have a great degree of humility and honesty from our public health officials and those in academia. dr. so many of them were so horribly wrong and yet so highly pedigreed if they continue to stand in positions of power and dismiss and denigrate those who actually were right from the beginning, whether it's about vitamin d three or therapeutics like ivermectin, the social distancing, not really working spraying your food or your packages, all of it was false. yes, they want to kind of glide along and say, oh , well, you know, things change, science changes. let's just move on . how important is it to look
12:19 am
back and get it right and hold people accountable for persistent and almost purposeful errors in judgment, scientific judgment? >> you know, there's a term that we use in clinical trials in a very safety monitoring is called being responsive to the data and i wouldn't give high marks for our public health officials and even those some of the media in terms of being responsive to the data. it's always humbling to have a rapidly evolving virus, a viral pandemic where there's so many unknowns and what we need now is we need just a fresh new start with the emergency phase of the pandemic is closed. you see countries now dropping mandates across the board. i think when we drop all the mandates in the united states across the board, it'll become a national holiday. dr. mccullough would you recommend that any child without a preexist skin condition or just any child of decent health get these vaccines at this point? yes or no?
12:20 am
no. and the data there's a paper from mmw end of december from the cdc, the safety data children ages five to 11 or it doesn't look good. it looks like the serious conditions for the first time now we're seeing heart injuries in children before puberty. >> they should not be given under any circumstances. dr. mcculloh, you've been courageous, brave and almost always right. so thank you so much. now in moments we're going to dissect republican big choice surrounding the military industrial complex. plus, if you think the people pouring over our border, they just want jobs americans won't take. come on . we have a viral video that is frankly terrifying debunking that stader cancer culture and has no boundaries. dan is for season two and he's fighting america's toxic trend . we're going to let the far left with the rough go inside a dangerous game. i thought worst case scenario that comes close over in about
12:21 am
24 hours. the administration spent weeks trying to threaten my career over education under a my classroom, though, and many, many, many others like had been powerfully undermined by americans under attack. i never in my wildest dreams, but i do think that's what happened in america. freedom under attack. twitter censored my tweets. i was faced with the decision of either deleting my or losing access to communicating with 83000 people. we won't stop telling the story . one letter was canceled in the usa and to all this week only on fox nation. sign up today. if something happened to you, what would happen to them? their home, their education, their future. you need life insurance and chances are selectquote and help you get it for less than a dollar a day. selectquote found jacob

the number one fastest growing men's brand in america after the total incompetence at our top military leaders demonstrated in afghanistan and then their continued commitment to divisive race and gender the allergies. areco there really any conservatives to think that giving the pentagongo more money at this point is a really good idea? well, i give you the liz cheney acolytes who still populate the wall street journal's editorial pages. time to increase defense spending. the u.s. will face challengese from the new alliance between china and russia. well, we will face those challenges. gi
12:26 am
giving these people a salary increase is obviously a terrible idea, whichxt is why my next guest argues in a new op ed that the neocon hawks are standing in the way ofup a new republican party. sohrabrt umari is a contributing editortr of the american conservative and a visiting fellow at franciscan university . so rob, why should we pump more money into the military when it's apparently just populated? according to the ap, with all these racist and biased horrible people that they're trying to purgelate from its ela ? i think you nailed it. i mean, there is this reflex and it's not really we can't blame just the democrats i would call it that unit party reflects of an america that is always expensively trying to get involved in everyf corner of the world and expand liberal democracy everywhere.
12:27 am
and it's very, very misplacedy given the state that the country is in right now.me you mentioned race and gender ideology. that we are a country that internally can't agree whye the american revolution was launched. we can't agree aboutag what man and woman are and thenan more kind of materially speaking, we're a countryte that's facing a fentanyl crisis, a huge border crisis, declining life expectancy for working class people whichin ise unheard of in the rest of the developed world. and so in the facel of all this kind of externally focused agenda which is partly military but partly all these ngos national endowment for democracy, freedom house, it's sometimes surreal among their email lists you get an alert saying, you know,mo o gay rights in lgbt rightshi in his beckstein ares under threat and you wonder, you know, stepde outside, step a outside in washington, look at the addicts at union stationt, v look at, look at or i live in new york city, look at the addicts, the mentally ill on our streets or law and order breakdown. what universe does is kind of
12:28 am
washington blob live in it just doesn't reflect our reality. so that's the argument in the op ed is conservatives shouldn't be behind this kind of liberal imperialism expansionism anymoreio. well, probably the past two decades. yeah. and it's been rejected by the voters first when they you know, they dump mccain for obama, elected obama again e and then elect a donald trump who believe that we should besh let's extend all around the globe so a the voters have been saying for yearr after yeae after year stop and the republicans party keeps trying to lurch back to the you know, the glory bush days. he but so rather speaking of bush, in responsed say and other neocons would say is,l oh , you're just going back to isolationism. that'sth a disaster. that means freedom will not be on the marchch and backward looking. and your response to that ?f i would a say first of all, there's nothing wrong with aat nation saying we're going to h consolidate what we have here right now because we'reri losin, it internally. but second of all, there o is
12:29 am
a middle ground between total isolationism, which of course doesn't make sense. we're a huge continent of nations with allies spread around the world doesn't make sense, but it doesn't mean i we should, for example, try to constantly expand the natoto ambit, including into countries where it would obviously bringie us intoo conflict with, with russia. right. why would we want to spark more conflict when when we don't need to? and so, you know, we should definitely defend our treaty allies in east asia and in e europe. but to mindlessly expand nato, which by the way, what is nato expansion mean now?or it means bringing more geographic space into the same kind of ideology that conservatives don't like at homee. so why press for it? nato is as woke as our own military, sir.in fascinating piece. and you a annoyed all the right people with it. so great to see you tonight .e and now the tale of two borders.r our northern one is finallyte getting the attention it deservesnt since biden's vaccine
12:30 am
mandate policy threw things into complete chaos p up there. but don't take your eye off what's happening down at our southern border. it's's in complete shambles with illegals pouring across by the hundreds of thousands every month and the open borders left wants yoube to believe that everyone's coming poor, downtrodden ,oppressed, fleeing gang violence, nice law abiding people who just want to come and work at our local businesses. but the reality is far uglier. sure, there are some poor people coming, a lot of them. but biden and dhs secretary are also letting people like this woman sneak into our country every single day. i hope you're sitting down for this one for doors ceressus the burisma. it may come down now on down, back up.
12:31 am
get your perspective mike lindell in there, please, ma'am.are ma'am, we're going togoin havego taser you use wow. now if a phone call touk the ukrainian ambassador that ends up somehow being ant n impeachable offense. the ongoing conspiracy to undermine our national sovereignty and rule of law should be a slam dunk, impeachable offense and conviction. here now is don rosenberg, president of advocates foror victims of illegal alien crime. don , you don't they don't even let you call illegal alien anymore, right? that's that's that's verboten. , can't do that . that woman who seems demonic or a good actress is part of a crime wave coming into the country and alejandro america, his big focus this week i guess this is super bowl. o
12:32 am
well, he seems to have his priorities always backwards and certainly he does here. yous know, your comment about,an you know, people coming in and most of them are nice and want to work, you know, i mean there's a lot of truth to that . but the you know, the questionea that i've asked for 11 years is, you know, how many people in this case we'll talk about over a million that just came in in the last yearr. what's an acceptable number of murderers,, child molesters and just regular criminals out of that group? and that's why i have an immigration system to check that . they don't come in . we just let them in and paid to fly around the country andou actually gave money to helpp get here. well, if the number is closer to two million, i believe who we've encountered at the border, lord knows how many snuck through that agents who are just not able to evenon apprehend. so the numbers the sheer numbers are staggering don . and yet i think americans are
12:33 am
so overwhelmed with so much at one time the number is kind of numbing until a plane falls arrive in a rural or you know, or more suburban small suburban part of the country as we've seen over the last year. does that change this dynamic once and for all?th well,in i think it would change the dynamic if most of the media would show it, you know, turn on manyyo ofmp your competitors. looket in the newspapers, you don't see any of that . it's all hidden. and the rare time when you do see something, they always turnn around and make those people the victims don . will never let this issue go. we care about all americans of all backgroundsan, all races and ethnicities. if you're here illegally, we want you tofuille have the great life ever. if you're not, you need to get back in the line. don , thank you . now over one year ago, california police officer matthew da life was upended whea

call us or visit exults .com now liz cheney january six the revenge fantasy has takenbi another disturbing turn. the u.s. capitol police are nown under investigation by the absents inspector general for allegedly spy on sitting members of congress. now this is in response to a stunning politico piece last month about how the capitol police quietly started scrutinizing the backgrounds of people who meet with lawmakersop after january six . but it gets worse. considerer the experience of congressman troy nehls of texas. according to him, a capitol police officer entered his office on saturday, novemberer 20 1st of last year and snapped a photo of a white board that had suspicious writings on it. of course these were ideas for
12:51 am
legislation, but that doesn't matter. the capitol police followed up by sending three plainclothes intel officers to grill nehls staff. joining me now is julie kelly, senior editor at american greatness and author of january six how democrats use the capitol protests to launch a war of terror against the political rightgh. julie, how is this all now just getting the attention it deserves. well, i think because republicans have intentionally the role of the capitol police, not just in what happened on january six but ever since i mean, look, this intelligence unit was headed up by now by an obama official who was fired right before election day. she's expanded this intelligence unit who knew capitol police were allowed to even have an intelligence unit composing these dossiers not just on lawmakers and staffers but also their donors and even their constituents. goes.
12:52 am
so very you know how this goes. they're going to collect all this information. they're going to leak it to the press. the press is going to anonymously source it to intelligence officials and this is all part of anis ongoing smec campaign by the capitol police are part and parcel to this . they are also an unaccountable federal law enforcement agency. they are not subject to foia any foia requests. they're helping to conceal fourteen thousand hours of surveillance video, all of their documents and communications correspondence related to january six . and soar what is the capitol police hiding while at the same time they're snooping around capitol hill trying to collect what they think is going to be damaging information against republican congressman nehls julie was on with tucker earlier tonight . what they the extremist groups n are going to be there and they did nothing with it. so i've exposed this . i'm being targeted right now
12:53 am
and i believe that nancy pelosi as weaponizing the u.s. capitolo police to investigate me, to try to silence me, intimidate me and quite honestly to destroy me really. >> and i talked about this onta my podcast earlier today. but do you agree with that assessment that it's pelosi targeting him? absolutely. and she has been using the capitol police. she used them on january six in some instances they were attacking protesters and other instances they were letting i hundreds of them into the building. congress doubled over two billion dollars to them in emergency supplemental funds that now i guess they're using to expand this intelligence unito . but look, this is part of the capitol police, the joint committee, the justice department, as i write about in my book all working collaboratively together to use this for our disturbance on capitol hill as a pretext to unleash this war on terror against americans on the political right. and this goes from everyone
12:54 am
from donald trump to congressmen and down to regular americans who walked into the building solely for>> 15 minutes. sorry to interrupt. before i go really quickly, how many people fromyo your reporting are still being kept, if any, in solitary confinement of the suspects? do you know? so they're about a little more than three dozen what i call the d.c. gulag thing now have been locked down. twenty two hoursrs a day and their cells, if they were initially and we do have political prisoners in the nation's capital , that's not an exaggeration. julie, we appreciate your reporting on this. thank you . and as new york city mayor eric adams know the difference between veja and fish, what is this about the west's fight? >> explain to the main culprit
