we know him through colors it is bad. more signs of the country is pushing to get back to normal. >> certain politics makes a lot of republican governors stupid. >> they want hard-hit covid zones and they seem to be decisions driven by science and on politics. [laughs] >> jeanine: will americans trust the left? because it's so obvious.

>> dana: their trust across the board is down. it's not even with covid it's across the board. if you think about what happened and all the institutions from the 20th century do not feel like they are up to be 21st century challenges that we are experiencing. i think the white house try to take credit of the democrats i understand why they are trying to do it, but i do find it a little bit hard to swallow. it probably would've been a lot farther if they said what a collection action. look what we all do together, think of for in the masks, thanks for getting vaccines i'm a thank you for the scientist who figured out the treatments, the antibodies, all of those things and let's move forward. i think you are gearing up to see something probably before the super bowl weekend maybe friday, or saturday from the cdc that says actually, masks can be optional and lc if they can maybe try to do something when he doesn't interview with nbc. he will have summing to say.

i notice in the white house briefing today that all of the reports asking questions about these mass mandates. one thing that's really difficult is that their political legs and cut out from under them. the governors were asking the white house to take this action before they did. there was no action and so they decided to move on their own and so they are like standing there without any policies. >> jeanine: the blue state governors despite the fact that they are going against joe biden and the cdc are seen as the heroes. and the red state governors like in kansas are still seen as the villains standing in the way. >> geraldo: that's media i don't care about media i care about reality. she is a politician. >> dana: she is not a politician. >> geraldo: i think she is in a hyper charged political role as a surrogate for the president.

she gets to be political but i don't care, i want everyone of the country to breathe through covid as easy as i did. [laughs] i don't know if masks work or didn't work, it doesn't matter, they tried, they were in a panic. a million dead americans, they were doing the best they could given the information that they had, i think the demonizing of one side or the other is really pathetic. it will end and the tests will be there. the people who are most against masks are the people who are against vaccinations also. if these prohibitions, the vaccine mandates, and the mass mandates go away, it will be interesting to see what happens. if the people who will been against and vaccines all don't get sick or an accelerated rate and they don't die an accelerated rate than they were right all along. you can't attribute bad faith to either side. >> jeanine: dr. fauci i can give him bad faith.

half weeks or so to get ready for this. they didn't do anything come of it and meet with anyone, they didn't try to de-escalate they didn't try to figure it out. the white house has had plenty of warning, where is president biden wisely called justin trudeau? let's figure this out. so we can make sure that people back to work. i think is probably asking, i don't think so. the white house has been in touch with her counterpart. but also this is another great opportunity for kamala harris, california as her home state. the miscue below more advice. the labor secretary, i would go out there i would at least meet them and try to figure it out and say look do you like this plan? can we get to some set of agreement to try to head off. >> jesse: what happened to negotiations you can negotiate with truckers? you can negotiate with the taliban but not the truckers.

>> jeanine: that is the problem here. look, these truckers are saying look at what you have done to us. for two years you destroyed our lives, our businesses, our families have been affected. you wouldn't listen to us. now that you see elections are coming around you don't want to talk to us. you now still refused to deal with that you've destroyed our lives and that we were essential and now you want to quarantine us if we aren't vaccinated, if we go in the other direction were 90% are clearly vaccinated. this sense of elitism that both justin trudeau has saying that i saw a swastika and that's an inherent sign of violence. it is, i agree, but i haven't seen anything or heard about a lot of arrests there. there are thousands of people. but what they are doing is that they are going to come to the united states and people are fed up and for the first time people
