4:00 pm
republican senator bill cassidy and pentagon press secretary john kirby that will be timely. thanks for inviting us into your home this week and every week. that's it for "special report," fair, balanced and still unafraid. "jesse watters primetime" great show a tremendous launch starts right now. >> jesse: that's because i get such a good boost from my friend bret baier, thank you so much. >> jesse: really only got the gig because they rose to the level of their inat the tense. you know i'm talking about. i'm sure have you run into our own michael scott or maybe you have been cursed with a manager who makes you work on a saturday. >> >> i'm going to need you to go ahead and come in tomorrow. so if you could be here around
4:01 pm
9:00, that is great. okay? >> jesse: we all know what poor leadership looks like. it's pretty obvious when it's staring you in the face every day. horrible bosses cling to the little bit of power they have over you. refusing to surrender any of it creating a class structure with them on the top and you on the bottom. does that sound familiar? at the office you can quit your job but what happens when this workplace dynamic of ruler and ruled spills over into every day life. well, the people will revolt. we have spent the last few weeks telling you about the great awakening that is happening all across the country. and it looks like our freedom is contagious. canada, our neighbors to the north have had enough of the government tightening the noose around their neck. so they organized and are protesting. simply asking for their god-given right. >> i came here just to support
4:02 pm
everybody because we needed a change and we can't live how they are trying to make us live. they are controlling everybody, controlling everything. it's not a free world like that. and we want to be free. >> this is about freedom. canada was once a symbol to the world of freedom. and we want to become that again. >> most of us have never been to a protest before. we saw what was happening in our nation, our freedom taking away people losing their jobs. people being denied access to restaurants, to businesses, simply because of personal choices they made. and that's why we are here to stand up for that freedom. >> jesse: freedom, seems like an easy concept. tell that to canada's prime minister justin trudeau who shut down his entire economy but thinks it's an insurrection if the people shut down a single road. he is going to use every tool in his box to silence these cries for freedom. >> president biden and i both agree that for the security of the people and the economy these blockades cannot continue.
4:03 pm
the rcmp is working with provincial and local police departments to enforce the law. everything is on the table. because this unlawful activity has to end and it will end. >> jesse: instead of just listening to what they have to say, the left is going to work to shut them down and discredit their message. these truckers have been called every evil name in the book. including white supremacists. which is pretty rich coming from a guy who has been caught in black face on more than one occasion. but the media will ignore that and instead just vilify these brave men and women. like one cnn analyst who called for actual violence tweeting out a message to slash the tires, empty gas tanks, arrest the drivers and move the trucks. i don't even think she knows how to drive a truck like that. i don't. it's because these truckers represent their biggest fear. a threat to their power dynamic.
4:04 pm
it wasn't too long ago that democrats in the media were praising truck drivers for working during the pandemic. >> let's not forget about the many men and women who are driving big rig trucks often unheralded work force that is keeping our nation moving. >> they're the backbone big part of our supply chain we need respect. >> jesse: respect. funny how quickly things change when it goes against your narrative. but why all the hate? these truckers haven't committed a single act of violence. they haven't burned down a police station, flipped over a cop car, vandalized major cities or broken any laws, really. you know, like the blm protesters did when they racked up $2 billion worth of damage last summer and dozens of lives were lost in the chaos? no. joe and kamala aren't going to bail out these freedom-loving truckers like they did for blm. instead, they will make them villains of the story. apparently, anyone who supports them becomes the enemy, too. >> so you saw something on my
4:05 pm
facebook? >> no, on the facebook group. >> okay. >> and decided to come to my personal residence to give me information about peaceful protests? rough guys now monitoring people's facebook pages or facebook groups comments as to what their -- status updates are or what they're doing or within the group like. >> because it's a protest happening province wide yes we have been monitoring the protests. >> jesse: you heard that right they are monitoring everybody who even supports these truckers and they are sending police to their door to intimidate them. is that canada or is that 1950s era soviet union? all these make believers are asking for is what they are starting to see here in the u.s.a. like these kids in nevada. >> starting tomorrow we don't have to wear masks anymore! [cheers]
4:06 pm
[squeals and cheers] >> is anybody excited? [cheers] >> jesse: that's just great, isn't it? what a beautiful sound. it was like they were experiencing christmas morning all over again. you could feel that. they get to be kids again. no longer muzzled and muted. they are not the only ones, maybe our canadian friends were motivated by this scene in washington state where students peacefully walked out of school refusing to spend another day of class just choking behind a mask. these students and their brothers in arms in canada are just expressing the frustration we have all been feeling. 15 days to slow the spread? turned into two years to appease the left. vaccine mandates were shot down by the supreme court. masks don't work.
4:07 pm
and even dr. fauci is saying we have reached the end stage of the pandemic. so, what are we still doing fighting over mandates? even when you are vaxxed you can still catch it and spread it maybe we should tell democrats if the pandemic is racist then they would cancel it and we could finally move on. instead, joe biden is hiding in his bunker freaking out that a trucker convoy could pop up here in the states. he is urging his buddy trudeau to use federal powers to shut things down north of the border. while joe preps homeland security to stop any convoy on our side of the divide. truckers. that's joe biden's biggest fear right now. truckers. well, that and angry parents. forget the catastrophe that has become our southern border. the democrats in the media are fine letting the cartels run wild as they ship poison into the neighborhood here killing our kids and bringing death and destruction to town. but if you drive a big rig or care about your children's
4:08 pm
education, they are coming for you. why not just negotiate with the truckers? renegotiated with the taliban. not the truckers? the establishment is scared. moms have turned against them. hispanics are turning against him. now blue collar workers are turning against him. the great awakening is happening all across north america. the continent's best and brightest aren't walking through the halls of washington or out i can't. like comedian george burns once said too bad all the people who know how to run the country are busy driving taxis and cutting hair or maybe they are driving trucks. here now stephen miller former senior adviser and director of speech writing to president trump and america first legal founder. all right, steven, i have to confess. my mom is so upset. you know how liberal she is. i get texts constantly don't side with the truckers, jesse, they're dangerous. don't you dare. i mean, am i wrong to side with
4:09 pm
these people? are they doing anything that bad? >> if you want to perfect understanding of how you have one set of rules for the elites and one set of rules for the blue collar workers, of america and canada, look at this fact, democratic governors and mayors shut down the country, locked people in their homes, destroyed countless businesses, millions of jobs, ruined people's lives, made people i do alone in die an hospitals. covered the faces of our children for two years so they cannot learn basic social, emotional and cognitive skills that are crucial to your lifelong success. they did all of that and not only have they not apologized for it, they are still mad at anyone who ever dared to question them and maybe will be labeled a terrorist if you question them. here are a handful of patriotic truckers just crying tout say
4:10 pm
can we please have some of our freedom back and they are being talked about like a till of thee hun. make canada 51st state. also getting pretty wild here with politics joe biden spoke to lester holt and it was just inindecipherrable. >> there was no way to ever unite ukraine -- iraq -- afghanistan. >> jesse: it's gotten so bad hillary clinton is now giving a major speech here in new york to democrats on next week and barack obama has now basically said joe, you relax, go to camp david, i have got this. barack obama is now the lead strategist with the house dranel democratic caucus on thousand make sure that they don't get
4:11 pm
their clocks cleaned in the midterms. i don't know what joe is doing but it looks like everybody else in the democratic party is taking control. is that how you see it? >> well, first of all, who could have guessed that having a president in the advanced stages of senility and dementia could ever turn out to backfire? but the truth is that democrats are positively terrified as they are watching joe biden unravel in realtime before the eyes of the country as we are heading towards the midterms it look joe biden three times to even get the correct country that he was being asked about. in the same interview where he rejected a 2000 thousand page army report about the disasters and blunders and embarrassments in afghanistan. in the same interview where he contradicted himself within the space of a few seconds of whether or not he told putin whether he could or couldn't hurt our citizens living in ukraine. and on the list goes. it's clear that joe biden does not have a grasp of reality.
4:12 pm
and so democrats are now genuinely frightened about however we can descend. how much worse can they get? literally today on twitter world war iii is trending as a topic. that's where we are right now. we have no border. our job situations is in crisis, inflation is out of control. >> energy prices are out of control. crime is completely out of control. and the entire world has fallen into instability and chaos all because of one man joe biden. it's kind of hard to believe how much he has managed to screw up in just a year. >> jesse: don't worry, barack obama and hillary clinton are going to take over so everything is going to be fine. all right. stephen miller, have great weekend. >> thank you. >> steve: behave yourself miller. >> you too. >> jesse: viewer warning. shocking video of ambush in arizona. when will the war on police end?

4:19 pm
that's an unusual set of circumstances. but i think the bravery of the men and women of the officers that we saw in uniform there won out. and unfortunately this is getting to be way too commonplace to see this kind of violence against law enforcement. >> jesse: sadly it is. we are not second-guessing officers. i think they did it by the book. how do you defend against something like that a baby being used as bait kind of lulls you into a false sense of security and you get ambushed once you break through the door. i mean, how do you train for something like that? >> well, there is a difference, too, in the response, jesse, is that there was a swat entity that came later during that activation. i think what we saw in the video was more of a patrol response. and swat just by definition special weapons and tactics, we have a little bit more training and a little bit more tools that we can use to further protect ourselves. you know, uniformed officer on patrol doesn't have quite the same amount of tools as a team
