officers were hurt in an ambush shooting that stunned that community. the phoenix police department has just released the first bod cam video from the incident in our own trace gallagher is here with a full report. >> phoenix police are releasing a clip of that video, but it's enough to show how the officers we're ambushed. they were responding to a call 2:00 o'clock in the morning about a woman shot by an intruder. police were also told there wer several armed people inside the home. when they arrived a man and the doorway because the officer inside claiming the woman who was shot is in dire straits. then watch what happens. >> who's all in the house? >> the man and the door opens fire the officer was hit in the

arm another officer ran away yelling 999, office or down, within seconds more police and swat teams arrived on scene and the suspect or suspects inside the house fired dozens more rounds hitting more officers very and all commit nine of the wounded, all we're told will survive. the standoff in shooting did no end until the suspect to initially ambushed police kille himself. it is just one more example of this ongoing war on police. >> thank you so much for sharin that with us. now, crime continues to spiral out of control and democratic run cities. we are learning tonight a woman with 96 prior arrests was arrested and then released. yet again this week after shoplifting for a new york city target store. meanwhile, at the mayor is cracking down on this surge in subway crime with his new safet claim which will send 1,000

police officers and 30 teams of healthcare workers onto the subway to address the growing homelessness crisis. joining us now with reaction fo news contributor leo terrel. dio, what is your reaction to the crime? it is multifaceted, it is not a easy fix, but it does require the politician supporting the police officers and having prosecutors that prosecute the crimes. >> you correctly stated it properly. the police officers could not d their job, area adams and in some way his program, is meaningless, jason without the district attorney, the district attorney's of these democratic cities do not cooperate, the career criminals will gain the system you just showed an example of a woman 96 times, a career criminals can earn a living in democratic cities. crime does pay in democratic cities.

what bothers me is eric adams wants credit for doing a good job. he's done nothing until he call out alvin bragg, and until ever one of these das come to the plate and prosecute these individuals who the officers ar arresting. it is meaningless, totally meaningless. >> you are in california, what is going on with the la distric attorney, is he feeling any heat , is he chaining end of his methods or is he just continuin to let these criminals back out on the street? terrorized, no support from the district attorney, he is holdin by allowing criminals to walk the streets. in fact, when an officer was shot in los angeles, thank goodness the feds came in and prosecuted gang members. i want to be clear to the viewers, he is a friend to

criminals. he is soft on crime. we could talk about these cases every day. i want to be clear about this, until prosecutors hold their feet to the fire we have to get rid of all these democratic prosecutors, or else you will see democratic cities taken ove by criminals. during the olympics because the get off the streets within 24 hours straight it's a waste of time for it flies police officers can't do their jobs. >> ultimately voters have got t step up and pay attention to th elections that may be they don' hear as much about because they have to elect the prosecutors that are going to do this. kick them out if they're not doing their job. leo, thank you for joining us. more of the special edition of hannity right after the break.
