energy markets. the united states will not be left out with its ordinary citizens feeling the consequences of the price increase in full. biden's sanctions are going to hurt americans more than russians. oil supply is already tight and russia a big exporter could just slow down the flow whenever it wants. how do we protect ourselves? "jesse watters primetime" has written an advice column and it's addressed to one person. joe biden. mr. president, suspend the federal gas tax. this would take the edge off immediately. don't wait until prices hit 4 bucks a gallon nationally. do it now. even democrats are calling for it. >> there are some of us that think we should suspend the federal gas tax. s that something i introduced last week. a temporary suspension. it's not perfect at least it would bring down the average gallon of gas for my constituents.

theater against nuclear armed russia? >> well, i don't think that with nato there and the thrust that he is going to move on baltic states which are probably the most vulnerable. that's probably too much to chew off at this time. i don't have a problem with some level of ramp up. we can't lose our focus on china. nato can take care of with some contribution from us can prevent this from going any further. we have got to remain focused on china. this is an important thing, you know, i think that china is watching this and if we live in a world where our country can decide hey, that land belongs to us and give you some two hour history lesson which a bunch of nonsense and then go in and take it, you know, you are going to see that happen in other places. i want to make one more point. one of the things that's happening here we have waged a war under the biden administration against oil and natural gas in the united states. we stopped producing it we have cracked down on it we are not going to do more of it what's happened is it has made russian oil and gas more valuable. given putin more leverage and actually left europe and the world and us more vulnerable. that's why the most important

on that. the company out of that 23 on the list that gave the most money, he is the executive director of public works and they decide who gets these city contracts to fix the roads, to fix buildings and that kind of thing. let me give you an example. american structure point donated almost $36,000. they were awarded almost 18,000 in contracts, jesse. dod construction and its subsidiary donated 14,000. then awarded almost 900,000 in city contracts and daily mail is saying he was invited to the christmas party. he was invited to all these golf outings, he got gifts that included alcohol and cigars and two construction companies on this list. they gave him money. then that very same day that they gave the check, they received city contracts. one of them 600,000. another 400,000. >> jesse: the same day? what a coincidence, ainsley. >> ainsley: right? and when he was elected the mayor, he came up with a formal ethics code for all the city
