tv The Ingraham Angle FOX News March 16, 2022 7:00pm-8:00pm PDT
7:00 pm
this evening very thank you for making that show possible very thank you for joining us for eight set your dvr in never mis an episode great i don't think it is difficult. joe, follow reagan, paulo trump and you will do fine. laura ingraham is next. have a great night very. >> this is an ingraham angle from a very busy washington tonight. treatment is here with the contrasting styles between president biden and zelenskyy. new reports of bombings at this hour in ukraine. we will have a live update in just a bit, but first, roadblocks to peace. that is the fake focus of tonight's angle. nearly three weeks into this wa of choice we see the horrors of
7:01 pm
his reality even against civilians fred we know with america run by a hologram president with a hobbled economy , chaos ratings in our enemies are emboldened. the world is changing rapidly and what happens next is not easy to predict. they're are signs that a peace deal may be within reach. >> look at what's being discussed because at the moment the russians seem ready to accept ukraine's as neutral, no in nato, but in the model of sweden or russia potentially in the european union. and lets the outside powers tha would certainly include the united states provide guarantee of ukraine's security. if you listen to what they are actually talking about with ukrainian counterparts, and ignore some of the more steamy rhetoric, the russian position is shifting part. >> for 30 to is shifting as wel by being realistic on nato
7:02 pm
membership rafiki we heard abou the open doors, but we also heard we can't enter those doors . this is truth and we have to exempted is it is. >> do any of you feel it like watching tv or reading online any urgency for actual peace? hooton could decide to stop the shooting right now. he's not going to enlistee get something for it. and president xi in one call to vladimir putin could in this. no more until you stop the killing, but he's not going to do that. right now he has western europe and america all tied up in knot blowing billions of dollars trying to help ukraine after-the-fact and then leaving more discounted russia oil for china. and who is acting as an impediment to peaceful were at
7:03 pm
this conversation? people who don't seem particularly bothered by the prospect of the war dragging on. mostly for political reasons. the principal parties are clearly trying to get to yes, we've already discovered that, but the biden administration never seems to sound hopeful. >> we have not seen any concret indication from president hooto that he is serious about diplomacy that he is serious about putting the into the violence, much to the contrary. >> today, biden didn't talk off ramps or a lot about peace, but it was all about punishment. >> together with our allies and partners, we will keep up the pressure on hooton's crumbling economy. isolating him on the global stage. that is our goal, make hooton pay the price. >> that's a nice flat line, but as we know, sanctions really work. then there is michael mcfall, the former u.s. ambassador to
7:04 pm
russia under obama. he thinks zelenskyy should dictate our ukraine policy. >> what about listening to him rather than we pretend that we know that what he needs, what about if he thinks he needs these weapons, why don't we listen to him and when we say oh , they'll be shut down he doesn't have air support, what about listening to his judgment to help him fight the war that he is the one fighting the war. >> it's his country. so of course it's his job to fight for it. what is he talking about? is he aware that congress hasn' voted on an actual declaration of war? or the fact that their scant public support for us to get into a shooting war with russia? does that matter at all to him? may be has biden -itis and thinks that zelenskyy is our secretary of state or our vice president?
7:05 pm
and let's not forget what senat majority majority leader chuck schumer has said. when he urged peace, while he didn't urge peace, that's a trick question, he's too busy playing the fan boy rolled. >> and winds beat his speech wa reminiscent of what we all had in the aftermath of 9/11. resolve community, and determination, to save democrac from an hour of darkness. >> invoking 9/11 here is simply obscene. he sounds like he is repping zelenskyy in his constituency. those things ramp things up ver do we want him to really that w are digging in for the long deployment of forces? and just as reckless as truncating truncating soon-to-b former congressman adam kinsinger. >> i think we need to do a no-fly zone. i think we've gotten to the
7:06 pm
point though where there is significant risk in action. >> when zelenskyy calls for no-fly zone, it's understandable , i don't blame him one bit when considered as a , it's irresponsible. rather than doing what's in our natural interest which is avoiding a war with russia, he just took for their attention. oh, and you didn't think i'd forget mitt romney, did you? >> people are dying, some of th planes that they need, they wan migs mix, get them the migs. >> laura: why don't you pay for them? did he ever stop to think more people could die if we send the ukraine migs. i'm not talking about russians. last but not least, lindsey graham. >> and by your call to have hooton assassinated. to you still stand by your call? >> has come i hope you will be
7:07 pm
taken out one way or the other. i don't care how they take him out. i don't care if we send them to the hague and try him, i just want him to go. if john mccain was here, he would be saying the same thing. >> we all want hooton gone, no doubt about it and regarding john mccain, god rest his soul , mccain is also a guy who wanted us mired in syria in never wanted us out of afghanistan. the comments don't ratchet down tension again, they stoke attention. the last thing we need is hooto even more paranoid than he already is. if he thinks he will die or rot in prison, putin may just say forget negotiations, let it rip. so pooh-poohing negotiations, that is the easy stuff, and it satisfying at the moment i get it, but it doesn't accomplish much no one should be cynically thinking that an extended conflict in ukraine is good for
7:08 pm
him or her politically. i hope they're not thinking that . has history shows that the longer a war at last, the more costly it is. to all involved. u.s. policymakers have to be very careful to make sure we do not end up in a worse position when this is all over. and, dismissing any chance of peace or downplaying it will only ensure a more innocent people are slaughtered. a lot of the same people who promised injured victory in ukraine if zelenskyy just gets those migs or surface-to-air missiles were the same ones promising the same in iraq and afghanistan. we know how that all worked out for us. we all know that both hooton an president xi art ruthless and determined. they must be resisted in a manner in a time that will be effective and meaningful. reagan won the cold war by rebuilding our economy in our military which took a few years
7:09 pm
after the devastation we faced under carter. the same pattern will have to play out here. as the angle has said from the beginning, the situation in ukraine is a horrific tragedy. it breaks all of our hearts. we have to be prudent and we have to be thoughtful and response. right now the u.s. is simply no good position to engage in another protracted military struggle. we need time to repair our economy, reform our military, and get political leadership that actually works and is good and smart. whatever happens, we cannot repeat the same mistakes we mad after 9/11. that is the angle. generally now is president of the american institute for economic research. william, why does it seem like there is such a wide array of political forces opposed to or at least not helpful in the pursuit of ending this war is soon as possible.
7:10 pm
>> thank you for having me come alora. i think one of the big problems here is that there are parts of the forest policy elite that ar ideological driven toward this position. they're not credentialed, they're not realist like i just heard you talk about. they don't understand the world as it is as opposed to this kin of idealistic world they would like it to be. that leads them to want to and some ways have an unintended consequence of actually harming the people that they would like to help. i think it's largely because of this ideological project and we've seen this over the last 2 or 30 years, even though this i a different front, it's similar to what we saw in afghanistan, the people opposed to withdraw still think it was a bad time for america to end its longest war. we are talking about realism which you expressed, which i expressed, which so many more americans believe in and he kin of ideological nature of the foreign policy establishment in
7:11 pm
washington. >> laura: the ball that came out a couple of years days ago, when people just ask, do you think we should help with the no-fly zone, there is a lot of support among the american people great when you say a no-fly zone where american military aircraft could engage with russian aircraft and exten the military conflict, the numbers completely flip and overwhelmingly against and a no-fly zone with eye contact. had to admit that and uphold. that really tells the story doe it not? the people were saying the same thing from about 2006 or so on regarding vac in eventually in afghanistan for they wanted our troops home. >> i think when arrogance appreciates the cost that could occur, we saw that in afghanistan where they said there would be more american suffering, more americans comin home at dover and more dollars
7:12 pm
out the door. at think when americans appreciate that because they know this is not a good deal fo americans. we don't want to get in war wit russia over ukraine, which again , we can feel terrible for the people in ukraine and the tragedy of this aggression by boudin, but it's not our fight and we need to avoid an escalation into that. what's funny is that even academics realize this no-fly zone is a bad idea. william and mary did a study they came out today that shows that only 7 percent of international relations scholar believe a no-fly zone is a good idea. again, there's an anti- realize him afghanistan, somalia, eno, libya and we shouldn't listen t these the same old same old spirit let others in washington
7:13 pm
that are bubbling. >> the state department more often than not is really dismissive of the idea that vladimir putin is horrible and evil as he is whatever person t any negotiations that end up ending this madness. watch. >> our concern has been the strong possibility with the russians engaging in something that and other words going through the motions. we need to see less words, and more action on the ground. >> when the state department doesn't seem to be interested i getting involved here, and certainly not toward a peaceful resolution after the slaughter, but that's taken place. >> we all want a situation wher for these ideological reasons, we are willing to see the ukrainians fight to the very
7:14 pm
last person. there is an unintended consequence here of people buying the suffering on the grounds when this is going to end up in a negotiated settlement and not the settlement that we should've ha before this crisis turned into war. this issue of the enlargement o nato, of the military to military exercises the west has had with places like ukraine an georgia to increase military. these are things that russia ha signaled we're real problems. and again, that doesn't justify the aggression, but it shows yo that we've been pushing, pushing , pushing, and there's been a push back. i think we need to think about ways to peace and ways of stability because our interest is mainly avoiding and escalatory spiral into a war. we need to find ways to cooperate on those issues with russia because that's what diplomacy does. works with not just friends, bu adversaries to find a way towards our great. >> backing people into a corner
7:15 pm
is always always risky move. given all that media manipulation around all issues, including war, we have to ask who is it supposed to benefit coming today the new york times gave us an answer. they shift the agenda in congress empowering the center with a crisis rocking you have come at their shelving demands for defense cuts and swift into fossil fuel, while on the right trump arrow foreign and criticism of ukraine our fading. translation, the establishment is back in control and no dissent will be tolerated. john, the establishment wants t declare that america first foreign-policy nationalist, patriotic foreign-policy is over , we have turned the patron that. >> it is a very bipartisan moment.
7:16 pm
we are seeing this return to form in washington. you mentioned the new york time headline you also and see it places like the wall street journal where you open up the opinion page and there's all sorts of columns and editorials calling for humanitarian airlif and limited no-fly zones and provisions these really advance weapon system to ukraine and is nowhere is anyone being honest about the fact that we run very serious risk of escalation with these actions. it's like they're just hand raising these things away and we're not even having a debate about it. you can see it changing day today in washington. >> and who is going to funding or sending that make their way to ukraine. who will ultimately have possession of those weapons.
7:17 pm
we've seen that play out time and again as well. of democracy in the west and around the world right now. the bipartisan political establishment coming together t do something the american peopl when you give them the actual context and the facts do not want. >> that is what the establishment does best is doin things the american people do not want to do. that is true international wars overseas, it's true of the international trade and global trade deals.
7:18 pm
it's true of the southern border . it is true of so many things. there is the establishment that is permanent bipartisan establishment that does what is own best interest and it doesn' take much account of what the american people want. we have the brief window during the term presidency where you started to see a more populist agenda in foreign-policy and trade kind of breaking through the crest of establishment in washington. they fought back very hard. now we see a return to form. everyone is relieved that there is this we're to talk about and ways to talk about how to escalated because now we don't have to talk about the things that most americans are really concerned about, inflation, the price of gas, the southern border, the problems that we have in our schools, the problems we have in our cities with homelessness and with drug addiction. >> because then you have to hol them accountable. then the polishes that allowed all of this to happen including
7:19 pm
destroying our industrial base and the midwest, sending our jobs overseas, they don't want to talk about that. they don't want to talk about that. i think you hit it on the head. it's a way to avoid a conversation about america. they always prefer that. that's why we love the federalist. we can right now, going to be coming to an end just about 90 minutes or so. senior affairs correspondent is to the west of the capital, tel aviv. you are hearing the aerate parents now i can hear them. >> exactly. you can hear it behind us it's kind of venire seen here hearin that empty streets. when the sirens go off, it doesn't necessarily mean the russians are attacking the city itself they could be anywhere i the region and a couple of hour
7:20 pm
ago we got reports of a cross order attack from belarus to ukraine in a town just to the north of where we are right now. a lot of action in kyiv on wednesday. just about a mile and a half from president zelenskyy building was shelled, another 1 story building was destroyed. the bulk of the russian forces remain outside, but they are hounding the center and the suburbs. a big theater was hit, that was being used as a shelter for civilians including children. we don't have the word on casualties there yet. for hospitals was commandeered for shooting physicians and eight convoys we're blocked again from going in. in the city of turney, ten people killed they were waiting on a. line when a bomb dropped on them . this caused the president zelenskyy to refer to that when
7:21 pm
he was speaking to congress and he also said in his simple words , we need you now to the united states. president biden coming off another $800 billion worth of military age. finally, laura, the word of the negotiation with the ukraine an russia, they describe it as tereus and realistic, but the horror going on around this country is very unrealistic. back to you. >> do we have any reports tonight about our own benjamin hall and his condition? >> some good news and a very sa week for fox. benjamin, we are told has now been brought out of ukraine. he is in a very top-notch healt facility right now. in the best news that we have gotten is that we are called he is alert and in good spirits, s
7:22 pm
some good news and a sad and tragic weeks for fox. >> it sure was and we needed that great good news. thank you. >> i support enthusiastically the sending of make aircraft from poland. my feeling is we should provide those planes. i haven't met anybody in the senate who is not interested in seeing those. >> as the calls grow louder by the day come, but we want to take a step back and ask is tha wise. with it even make much of a difference at this point? and who is in ukraine who has the actual skills which are considerable to fly those planes . these irrelevant questions and something the senate arms services committee chuck reed announced today. you say that is because they couldn't fly them effectively anyway. >> they have a number of make aircraft themselves and they ar flying very few there that coul
7:23 pm
be a combination of lack of support, mechanics, fuel, dave d , the pilots in the air, the lack of pilots. >> joining me now is tom cotton who also sits on the armed services committee. you do not agree with that assessment. why? >> first i want to say i'm very grateful to hear that report, w continue to send prayers to mitch and his family. we know it's been a tough week for you. we're very sorry for your losses . and the interpreter we are working with, there were civilian victims among thousand in the brutal war of aggression. i don't agree with the jack ree assessment, i think president zelenskyy in the ukrainian army has showed that they can take
7:24 pm
this fight. these are not a silver bullets, there are no silver bullets in warfare, there it's about the total mix of weapons that you can bring to bear, but the ukrainians have the aircraft, they are familiar with playing them, poland was ready to send them. it was ridiculous for the secretary of state to say we greenlight the transfer one day and the next day it would be escalatory if the president biden once again is on the back foot. he needs to be where president will which is leading the world and helping ukraine fight for their own freedom. >> biden can't lead the united states. when i hear president biden being told you need to leave th world, first of all, with all due respect to president zelenskyy, he's obviously incredibly heroic. he is fighting for his country as he should, but we have a president who as i said on the
7:25 pm
angle is essentially a hologram. he is not an active president defending our interest here, le alone the president of the world . i think going down that road is kind of ridiculous at this point . >> what he could do is just sto engaging and half measures that are a day late and a dollar short break last week he came i and gave hst speech about how w were going to ban the import of oil into america, we are still importing russian oil. they had a month and a half lon line down here and we're sendin on average 20 millions of dollars a day to russia's war machine. this goes back for months, you have president biden who has continually been a day late and a dollar short, whether dragged along by the bravery and the college date ukrainian army has displayed and frankly by member of congress and both parties, today they announced they transfer of $800 million of
7:26 pm
weapons to ukraine, its welcome but should've been done a month or two ago and it's just a fraction of what congress proposed last week. they have proven they are capable of fighting the russian and we need to encourage them t do so and we need to provide them the weapons they need to fight the russians. you don't think we're giving th ukrainians at this point in the rest of the world fall so? you think given the fact that russia is closing in on ukraine at this moment, we heard the ai raid sirens outside of, that we are not building people up with false hope at this point? i am afraid of that. i am worried. >> i really don't. with your hearing air raids is that the russian army has faile in its first plan to encircle the city's enforcer capitulation . kyiv is being hit with muscles and artillery.
7:27 pm
they're are no closer today tha they were. yes, there is still a lot of bloodshed in russia. russia is still in indiscriminate bombing of civilian areas, that is because they have not achieve the military objectives. we provided them not only with migs, but with the kind of antimissile defense systems and anti- aircraft systems they are pleading for, they could close their own skies, laura. >> and you think at this point peace negotiations, which i sai on the angle, it seems like you don't hear anybody, not many in the senate and certainly not biden really indicating there i much interest in having to stop tonight like come to an end, th focus is getting that migs are getting the missiles, a billion dollars here a billion dollars there, but it seems like they are close to an agreement at this point would you be
7:28 pm
supportive of that? >> i would welcome a peace agreement that stops the bloodshed in ukraine. it's not really for us to negotiate that or certainly to impose it upon the ukrainian people bird that's a choice for them to make an a decision made by president zelenskyy. i don't think americans, whethe they are in congress or in this ministration should dictate those terms. at president zelenskyy representing the ukrainian people that's one reason he needs these weapons to stop the bloodshed and preserves ukraine's freedom. i think that would be a welcome development, not only for ukraine, but the world. >> senator, thank you for comin on. we appreciate it. we now turn to a stunning repor from newsweek, russian dissiden claims to have obtained leaked letters from an fsb whistleblower saying the ccp wa just once away from launching
7:29 pm
its own invasion. xi jinping was considering the capture of taiwan in the autumn. there is a colossal party struggle after the events in ukraine, this window of opportunity has shut very joining me now is mike pillsbur director for chinese strategy and author of the 100 year marathon. fox hasn't confirmed the authenticity of these leaks, bu i have to say, someone you and both know told me something similar a few months ago that i would be sometime in the autumn but this could be a smokescreen correct? >> that's right, taiwan itself frequently forecast the month o april and the month of october are the two most dangerous. spirit that is when this he states is flapping and the chances of monsoon or even majo thunderstorms are much less, so
7:30 pm
we know that beijing does debat whether it should do about taiwan and if it's going to invade, when, so this week from the russian intelligence servic and the whistleblower inside th russian intelligence service fits in with the idea that taiwan is a topic comes up in beijing. sometimes postpone it for two o three years, they are looking for favorable circumstances ver that's my own worry in unless w get a peace deal involving the russians in the ukraine, this provides an opportunities to sa this is our chance. >> so you take the opposite vie of so many in the foreign polic establishment who say okay, if the u.s. doesn't get more involved and put hooton back on his heels with more weapons and more money, to ukraine, the mig and so forth, china is going to see that as a green light to go into taiwan. ever never agreed with that, bu i like your thoughts thought on that.
7:31 pm
>> i agree with the clip you played of neil ferguson that we need to focus on the makings of a peace deal. that is going to deter xi jinping and the chinese hawks i they see that something has worked out involving neutrality of the ukraine or some sort of promise that he will join nato for ten years. you wasn't going to be able to join nato for at least five years anyway because of various conditions that ukraine was not meeting to join ukraine. her nato. so i think you're focused tonight on the idea of what is the contents of a peace agreement, that's really quite important. strangely enough, the chinese are offering to help, but their price is very high. their ambassador wrote an article today saying they will help with the cease-fire, but only if the u.s. doesn't sanction china in any way. they are afraid of sanctions being put on china. >> they want those tariffs
7:32 pm
lifted. they don't want any of those trump tariffs and they don't want any new terrorist. the longer this goes on in ukraine, the higher the price that ukraine and the west will have to pay for that piece. that is my concern. mike, as always, thank you. in a moment raymond arroyo presents a little bit of a contrast between biden and zelenskyy. that is seen and unseen.
7:33 pm
7:37 pm
>> laura: it's time for arsene and unseen segment. we expose the cultural stories of the day in turn to raymond arroyo. raymond, president zelenskyy addressed congress today virtually. >> he used the address to ask for planes, a no-fly zone, used heart-wrenching video to make his case, than he addressed president biden directly. listen. >> your being asked to be the
7:38 pm
leader of the world, being the leader of the world means to be the leader of piece. strong, brave and ready to writ for the lives of his citizens and the citizens of the world. >> that is a curious thing there . he is fading this thug hooton, he kills people in his own country, he's a monster, but he saying here that somehow, biden has to be a leader of the world a citizen of the world. just as zelenskyy is dedicated to the ukrainian people first, biden needs to be committed to the american ideal and that's what he's doing promoting peace hopefully and working for that piece and multiple ways. i think we need some clarity. most americans don't realize that zelenskyy was comedian and actor who started in a show
7:39 pm
called servant of the people about a high school teacher who found himself president of ukraine with the actor eventually became he named his political party, servant of the people. this is an amazing example of life. >> all of our country, we have been waiting for this for so much time. >> ukrainian ukrainians? >> yes, ukrainian spirit >> in some ways, the whole stor is right there. the u.s. and europe made overtures, hooton felt threatened and zelenskyy became the lasso of the world leaders. >> meanwhile, biden, he is looking more like anthony hopkins in the father.
7:40 pm
what was this, yesterday? >> s, this is yesterday. >> we had a different arrangement of his on the stage because of the first ladies has been contracting covid. pardon? >> that's right, she's fine. it's me. that's not together. secondly, first gentleman. how about that. >> laura, so he had covid come of the president, dug him off i the second lady, he's not sure of anything and i really worry about the president going to europe. there is breaking news tonight that you ran new deal, he says one thing hooton is a war criminal, here's what they're doing on the policy front, in that he ran nuke deal, guess wh gets the $10 billion contract
7:41 pm
and all sanctions waived to build the irani and nuclear plants? russia. its in the iran nuke deal, it i mind blowing what's happening. this administration better get it story together with its policy. right now they are at odds part. >> i take issue with this idea that biden is pursuing piece. i think he sees--he sees what obama sought in syria which is why he stepped back from the redline. he shouldn't have joined becaus he realized the american people don't want this. obama step back and now biden i kind of doing that same thing. eno's that it's too risky to ge involved in some protracted military adventure. >> he is throwing billions at this thing. i applaud his restraints, many people are telling them to sin planes, we have to do more,
7:42 pm
zelenskyy is doing the push. he sticks to the plan, but this iran nuke deal contradicts everything you see. one good news on the ukraine front. pope francis had a video call who supported the hooton invasion. the pope told him today the war is always unjust and they as religious leaders have to use the of jesus. he's also having a very consecration consecrating the country of russia. >> believe this is the first time that raymond arroyo has said something truly, completel positive about pope francis. >> that's not true. finally, if zelenskyy was looking for a citizen of the world leader he should've turne on netflix. rock obama is hosting a new documentary called our national parks. global national parks.
7:43 pm
>> joined join in the celebration of our planet greatest national parks and wilderness. >> they journey through the natural wonders of our shared birthright. >> along with the $1 billion of armaments, i hope obama since the sleepy's loss to ukraine. they could use the help of. >> the sleepy's loft, was that it did get biden? >> no, it's sleepy sloth. >> he's moving park spread. >> heat and michelle got like 125 million and their netflix deal. it looked like he was in hawaii with that green screen back. it looks like a nice show. >> beautiful footage. >> $125 million. thank you so much. first it was eastern europe, an now, kamala could be coming to city near you, details of the
7:44 pm
unintentionally unintentionally hilarious biden plan to unleash the vp ahead of the midterms. lookout. things were as sharp as i knew they once were. i heard about prevagen and then i started taking it about two years now. started noticing things a little sharper, a little clearer. i feel like it's kept me on my game. i'm able to remember things. i'd say give it a try. prevagen. healthier brain. better life.
7:47 pm
- when i was flying, i used to love sitting on the ramp. it's that wind in your face experience and being on the recumbent kind of brought that back. an rpg came through the belly of the aircraft. i'm not sure i would still be here if i didn't find the friends in wounded warrior project that i did. we don't talk about the female combat wounded. these are our daughters and our sisters and our mothers. i got on the bike and i tried it out. it felt a lot like flight and i felt like i got a piece of me back.
7:48 pm
in that moment, i was like, this is it. i'm unstoppable. i can do, i can do anything. the truth is i think we all have this strength inside of us, but until you're tested, you just don't know it's there. >> i know you need a laugh to end your day and this is courtesy of the hill, before i read the headline, just know
7:49 pm
that this is the biden teams bi plan to save democrats ahead of the midterms. are you ready? harris to become the biden road warrior, she will be hitting th road more frequently in the coming weeks and months with covid 19 cases declining she will be spending my time crisscrossing the country and touting the successes of the administration. what a plan. in joining me is john bevan, cofounder and and former clinto strategist in democratic pollster. tom, your thoughts of kamala, the road warrior. >> look, this reminds me of 2010 , you remember, barack obama campaigned all across the country in 20104 democrats and said, if democrats and people just knew what was in the affordable care act, they would appreciate it, they would understand it. obama had much higher approval ratings and was much more
7:50 pm
well-liked, much more charismatic than kamala harris and democrats lasix and exceeds in 63 house seats freight if history is any guide this plan is not going to work out well for the democrats. >> tom, apparently kamala will be touting all the success of the administration. so what pray tell are those successes? >> i think that is a bit of a problem right now. at least they are getting her out of the white house and getting her on the road to do with a price vice president is supposed to do but with ratings underwater on inflation, crime, ending immigration, it's pretty tough. in what democrats is going to really want her coming into the district given the ratings of the administration. they will be running away from her in the district. >> tom, what she said about hig gas prices last friday, well, that raise some eyebrows.
7:51 pm
>> there is a price to pay for democracy. you have to stand with your friends. and as everybody knows even in your personal life, staying loyal to those friendships base on common principles and values sometimes it's difficult. >> tom, americans are being asked to sacrifice for their friends, someone is trying to fill philip therefore it f1 50 in missouri going to work, will that work? >> probably not. the problem for kamala harris i it's probably 50-50 that she's going to help the administratio versus, a gaffe which will have negative. her approval ratings are below bidens and her are in the low 4 that good of a communicator and this is what the administration is left with. theoretically at think it's goo
7:52 pm
