10:01 pm
congress and the american people urgently begging for more help. his speech invoking both 9/11 and pearl harbor have brought lawmakers to tears and their feet. and president biden responded with more military equipment and an additional eight hundred million dollars in assistance, though he stopped short of granting what he truly wants most, which is a no fly zone. but after three weeks of war , biden finally did deliver something else his strongest condemnation yet of vladimir putin calling his russian counterpart a war crime. hello, everyone. i'm chris gallagher in los angeles. as we continue our live coverage of the war in eastern europe, it is 10:00 p.m. here on the west coast, 7:00 thursday morning in the capital city of kyiv. the battle for ukraine's independence now on day twenty one and this day, like so many others in the past three weeks, brings more horrific images of war homes destroyed, refugees on the run and civilians shot

while waiting for food in mariupol, a theater providing shelter for hundreds of men, women and children suddenly rocked by a series of explosions. the number of casualties in that theater remains unclear, but russia's attack on innocent lives has left even hardened war veterans saying they have never seen anything like it. >> let's coverage with our chief correspondent and co-anchor jonathan hunt. he is standing by in lavae. jonathan, good morning. good morning to you, trace. just about an hour ago, the overnight curfew here in lviv ended and at this moment in key what was a 35 hour curfew is coming to an end giving residents there the chance to get out, survey the damage done to that city, stock up on provisions for what may be to come. they hope, of course, they will not see more missiles raining down on this city from russian
10:03 pm
forces today. but russians have been hitting out elsewhere in the southern city of mariupol. as you mentioned, a theater was bombed, a theater that ukrainian officials say was a shelter for hunde of civilians, including among them children. and we have seen satellite images in which the word children has been written on the ground very clearly outside of that , the theater building before the strike in an attempt to ward off obviously any strike from the russians, it clearly did not work. in the meantime, some very graphic and disturbing images from czerny that is a town just north of kyiv there. according to a tweet from the u.s. embassy here, russian troops opened fire on people who were simply standing in line to buy bread. we understand that at least 10 people were killed in that
10:04 pm
and president zelenskyy in his address to congress said that when you look at all of this , the world has to realize that this is not just an attack on the ukrainian people. this is not just an attack on the country of ukraine. this is an attack on the world. listen here to president zelenskyy today. >> the ukrainian people are defending not only ukraine, we are fighting for the values of europe and the world, sacrificing our lives in the name of the future. and we haven't talked a great deal over the last few days trace about the southern city of odessa on the black sea, a critical port. but we are seeing now a lot of people suddenly leaving odessa. we have heard reports that there has been some shelling presumably from russian warships out in the black sea in a lot of people. now jussi that now is the time
10:05 pm
to get out of that city. so we are awaiting any further word of a russian move on that critical black sea port. odessa would be a pivotal capture. jonathan, back to you in moments. meantime, ukrainian president as jonathan was mentioning, vladimir zelenskyy making a passionate plea to the u.s. congress, but it is not likely that washington will agree to the no fly zone. he so desperately wants. fox news correspondent madeleine revera has more in his remarks, president vladimir zelenskyy did not mince words accusing russia of turning the ukrainian sky into a source of death for thousands of people. this is a terror that europe has not seen, has not seen for 80 years. speaking virtually from an undisclosed location in kyiv, ukrainian president vladimir zelenskyy updating u.s. lawmakers on the russian invasion. he's calling for the u.s. to implement a no fly zone, provide more aircraft and air
10:06 pm
defense systems and issue additional sanctions on russia. he also delivered a direct message to president biden. i wish you to be the leader of the being the leader of the world means to be the leader of this president biden called zelenskyy speech convincing his administration is sending an additional 800 million dollars in security aid to ukraine. we're going to give ukraine the arms to fight and defend themselves through all the difficult days ahead. lawmakers from both parties praised zelenskyy message and agreed more military assistance should be delivered . he spoke not just to american ears but to america's very soul. many, however, oppose implementing a no fly zone, fearing the move would be an escalatory risk. the nature aircraft if the russians don't have to shoot the other one down and it's automatic for three russia and ukraine continue to hold peace talks amid
10:07 pm
the fighting and president biden is planning to travel to belgium for a nato summit next week to discuss the latest response efforts in washington. mallat rivera fox news that will affect you as images of vladimir putin's ruthless war spread around the world, president biden reacts with his strongest condemnation of russia's leaders so far. >> watch u.s. don't use the word biden's comment bolstered by this image a bomb movie theater in the southern coastal city of mariupol. the officials there tell us there were more than 1000 civilians sheltering inside. the president's remarks speak for themselves. he was speaking from his heart and speaking from what we've seen on television, which is barbaric actions by a brutal dictator through his invasion of a foreign country. there is a legal process that continues to is underway continues to be underway at the state department.
10:08 pm
joining us now, retired army lieutenant colonel daniel davis who is currently a senior fellow and military expert with defense priorities. always great to see you. for 21 days we've been watching this together, right? he, he has bombed hospitals. he's got these nuclear power plants that have been bombed, these humanitarian corridors and today you finally have the president of the united states saying he's a war criminal to long was he waiting for the right moment? what do you make of today's declaration? you know, i don't know if it's waiting too long. i think there's a lot of other more important things that it needs to be focused. and the only thing i worry about that i mean, no concern about whether putin's called a war criminal out there will definitely be time to negotiate all those things. but the most important thing right now is that we need to end the war. and i think that the negotiations going on between ukraine and russia that need to take priority because first we need to get this war stopped. and i fear that if we demonize
10:09 pm
putin that may actually make that more complicated and i don't want anyone else done because we didn't make the negotiations perspective as possible. you talk about negotiations and i wonder if any of this matters. i mean, if putin says, okay, i'll stop the war tomorrow, but i want i want ukraine to give up crimea and the donbass regions and then declare neutrality and then i want some of the some of the sanctions lifted by the us . i mean, there's a real chance that the us might bite on part of that and forget about this whole war criminal thing to begin with . well, i mean, we also have to recognize i mean, russia is a permanent member of the u.n. and it's not like, you know, putin is going to be going to the hague any time soon. so there's very limited capability we have. but i think we have to worry about really the realm of the possible and not, you know, go after things that we would like to have but may not be able to get . we need to first stop the war and that's the most important thing.
10:10 pm
and whatever kind of deal that can be struck to to make sure that happens is something that should be produced pursued because whatever putin may want to do, his military has been so badly gassed he's not going to be in any position to do anything with , you know, any kind of reinvasion for probably a decade or more . and in the meantime, ukraine will continue to rearm itself and make itself defensible. >> and yet on the political front today, apparently russia was offended by the president's comments. they said this is the spokesperson for the kremlin saying quoting here we consider unaccept and unforgivable such rhetoric of the head of state whose bombs killed hundreds of thousands of people around the world. >> i mean, now they're offended . yeah, i mean this kind of predictable and that's like yeah. no kidding. you would say that . but then look what you're doing. i mean, you see the hospital, you see the, the theater here. you see all the things you're mentioning there. so there's not a lot of
10:11 pm
credibility to that argument. yeah. i want to play this is the sound bite from zelenskyy. we played a little bit of this with jonathan hunt and in the intro, but it was important it was impactful. i want to play some of the english part of zelenskyy speech today congress, the american people. he was calling out president biden. watch. you have the leader of the nation of the i wish you to be the leader of the world. being the leader of the world means to be the leader of this . what do you take that to mean, colonel? being the leader of the world means to be the leader of peace. is he is he a backhandedly asking for something else? what exactly is he is he asking for there? >> of course i can only speculate, but he has been relentless in trying to get the no fly zone and trying to get jets and trying to get all kinds of things that we're not
10:12 pm
in a position to give or not willing to give . and look, i think we've got to just say the president his number one priority is to keep the united states safe and we have done enormous amounts i mean, gone overboard to a billion dollars just you know, within the recent days and another 13 billion dollars we have gone above and beyond to help. so i don't think we need to feel like we haven't done enough and president needs to make sure that we don't take any action that could actually get us drawn into the war. so i think he's dead right on that. and i understand zelenskyy position and what he's trying to get done. but we can't go too far. we have to take care of our people as well. but you have a lot of people on both sides of the island congress saying that more needs to be done and they financial not just talking about financial. lieutenant colonel daniel davis, always great to see you, sir. thank you , maestro. well, president zelenskyy passionate speech on capitol hill stirring a lot of emotions but didn't move the needle. we were just talking with the
quote
10:13 pm
colonel about that . did it move the needle at all on creating a no fly zone? because the administration has said repeatedly that could lead to world war three. that is a declaration of war . and yet there are questions about whether his speech worked. more on that in just a new media is proud to bring you this . she's a hero moment. one day she'll change the world . i grew up wanting to go into medicine. we're trained for anything that comes out. she'll make a difference. there was no playbook so we became innovators to work endless days. i told my fat cybercom do the store. she'll be there when we need her . we're always working as a team. she has changed the world if you can see her you can be her . hello, i'm mike lindell retailers, shopping channels and now even things i've tried

see how you can help it join i fall dog rush. >> russia has turned the ukrainian sky into a source of death for thousands of people. the russian troops have already fired nearly 1000 missiles at ukraine. countless bombs. they use drones to kill us with precision. this is a terror that europe has not seen, has not seen for 80 years. an extraordinary site is of a lot of is zelenskyy the president of ukraine delivered an emotional plea for more help from the american people, taking his case directly to congress, thanking the u.s. for the weapons and money we provided his war torn nation. so far washington might not be able to deliver zelenskyy wants the most though a no fly zone, although some lawmakers agree
10:19 pm
the u.s. can and should do more . we know who zelenskyy is. we know who the ukrainians are ,their freedom fighters. we know who putin is. he bombs women and children. the question in the speech this morning was who are we going to be? we're a superpower and zelenskyy challenged us to act like it. let's bring in bruen now, a former u.s. diplomat, a one time director of global engagement in the obama white house. brett, as president zelenskyy spoke to congress, he clearly touched their hearts. do you think he touched their minds in persuading enough people that we should do more beyond the, the aid that president biden has already committed? well, jonathan, when he did so effectively was to hold a moral mirror to congress. and i think what a lot of those
10:20 pm
legislators saw was a picture of america at this historic moment, a moment to challenge his very principles that we claim to stand for. and i believe just based on some of the comments that senators and congress members made coming out of that speech, that there is a movement or more and this is a unique case because so often is the exact phrase that is leading that is at the forefront of our foreign policy in this case, i think we're seeing congress really push president biden to do more to go faster. >> do you think that they will be successful in that, though? obviously president biden is giving a lot of aid. he's giving these anti-tank missiles. we're giving the air defense systems. we're giving the javelins and stingers. but what the ukrainians won very obviously it is fighter
10:21 pm
jets. they want those and maybe they come from poland, maybe they come from elsewhere, but that's what they want. is the president ever going to bend on that, do you believe president biden? well, we've already we've already seen a number of instances in which the white house said, well, we're not going to go there and then we went there. a number of members of congress have come very forcefully saying we've got to get more air power into the hands of the ukrainians. so this is something i believe that we will hear a steady drumbeat about over the coming days. and i do think ultimately president biden is going to have to find a way to get those fighter jets over to ukraine because if we are not going to secure the air over ukraine and especially after those terrible images that we saw in the video that zelenskyy showed congress, they are going to have to have the ability to do it.
10:22 pm
tapping into your experience in terms of global engagement, what do you think the effect of all of this , the sanctions, the world condemnation is going to be on the russian people? do you think we can globally engage them enough to rise up against that dictatorial president? >> well, i think we're already seeing a number of examples where russians, whether it's on the streets of st. petersburg and moscow in , you know, thousands of numbers are putting themselves at great risk in order to protest against what putin is doing in ukraine and then obviously this week the powerful statement that russian journalist made on channel one , i think those are illustrative of what is a deeper undercurrent and as the images start to penetrate beyond putin's iren information, will more russians
10:23 pm
i think will speak up and quite frankly stand up to putin? brett bruen, thank you so much. it's great to talk to you, sir, and to get your insights and to be able to tap into your long experience as a diplomat. brett, thank you . andrei, that it really is is a very important question, i think. does this end with some kind of peace deal or does it on terms of a bigger picture? does this really only end with the removal by the russian people of vladimir putin? and the other good point that made jonathan and tell me if you disagree is the fact that , you know, maybe it's not just about the planes, maybe it's not just about the no fly zone because he stopped asking for the no fly zone a few days last week. now he's back to that and there are a lot of analysts who believe if you give the planes the no fly zone is right on those planes tail, right? absolutely. i think you're exactly right.
10:24 pm
and i think the pressure, as bret said, will build and build and build the more of these kind of slaughter of civilians we see such as that theater in mariupol, it's hard not to see more and more people around the world and across the united states saying we have to do more trace yeah, we will get back to you in moments. jonathan, thank you . more than three million ukrainians now fled the war, but some braved the constant russian aerial assaults staying or staying, leaving and then coming back because they wanted to help. we will hear from one of them coming up next . everybody thinks election change. well, this guy sexualize he was a natural predator. he was on the hunt all the time. macduff became known as the broomstick killer. he's snatching, taking, ducting

10:30 pm
theater. let's get back to our chief correspondent and co-anchor jonathan levine. jonathan trace, we are getting word of some of the most disturbing attacks on civilians that we have seen so far in this war in the southern city of mariupol, a theater was bombed by the russians. that theater was shelter, the ukrainians say for hundreds of civilians, children among them. and they have put out images which they say show the word children clearly written on the ground outside that theater as a way of trying to ward off the russian attacks . clearly that warning did not work in chechnya, which is just north of kyiv. that was a terrible incident in which according to the u.s. embassy here, russian troops simply opened fire on people standing in line waiting for bread. we understand that at least 10 people were killed in that attack and then you go down to
10:31 pm
the south, the black sea port of odessa, we haven't talked much about it recently, but it appears that people are beginning to fear an imminent russian assault on that city. we are seeing hundreds if not thousands lining up now to get out of the critical black sea port. jonathan, back to you in moments. thank you . meantime, a thirty five hour curfew has now passed in kyiv, but the danger is far from over . russian missiles continue to fall on ukraine's capital and across the country overall. yet despite the relentless threat, more than 100,000 ukrainians have returned home to help fellow patriots any way they can. and one of them is soxer who was a tech developer right here in the united states. now she is operating a bomb shelter in kyiv. sasha, thank you so much for joining us this morning. i want to know first if you can tell me how the thirty five hour curfew was, where people restless. were they scared? did they abide by hi. thank you for inviting me at
10:32 pm
first. so there are two points of view from this curfew. first of all, people finally have sometimes for themselves because among people who stayed there are so many volunteers and every day they are running around the city trying to help those in need and now and they have to stay at home. they finally have time to have a long shower or through work or at least to cook something for themselves. so this is the first kind of curfew for those people who stayed. and another one is that we have this feeling we had before february 24th like fearing that something is going to happen, something has to happen because kyiv is not under constant attack. know, of course there have been some specific buildings but we don't have this massive attack
10:33 pm
on the city and we are expecting it every day. and of course, when we heard about this curfew, we thought, okay, that happens and we prepared ourselves to prepared more water, more food or more cocktail molotov. but nothing happened. and of course something happened. some buildings were destroyed. some people died, but there was a massive attack here. so we are still 60%. well, i'm glad you had a little bit of time to kind of regroup 16 days ago, sara, you said and i quote here we are calm and we are ready. are you maintaining that steady attitude to this day, sasha, i promised i had a breakdown a couple days ago, but again, it was not years. it was not fear, but it was like a huge outrage. it was i was so angry that after i got out
10:34 pm
this motions every everything became calm again. of course, lots of people they started to ask themselves some questions you don't usually ask yourself are you afraid to die? are you able circular person? are you able to go fight for your country? of course to start as like tricyclics questions more often . but first tillicum are just trying to find answers. i mean it's amazing people get to look within themselves and it's amazing sometimes what you find in what you don't find. i know that there are some places that are still safe in kyiv but it has been bombed mercilessly now for weeks. and i'm wondering you used to get two to three hundred people a night. is that about the number you're getting now? sosha about two or three hundred people per night and do you have the supplies and the food, the water you need at this point in time? so no, we don't have two or
10:35 pm
three hundred people nowadays because as you know, half of syria they laughed. so now we have about a hundred people and other people dying. so get used to those bombs and they they secure their apartment or houses for at least as much as again and they stay home. so after the first fighting qunol, everyone tried to get to the shelters. now people tried to stay home more to have their basic lives. they used to have a lot of people work, a lot of people they're walking around the city enjoying the first few days. so no, there are no three hundred people right now in a shelter. i've got about 30 seconds. sasha, what have you learned, if anything, about your fellow ukrainians i know you came from the united states came back to help. what have you learned about these people that you did not know when you were living here
10:36 pm
in the united states? i always knew that we are also i always knew that we are rock stars. so i didn't learn you. i reassured myself on this one . yeah, well, they are rock stars and they appreciate you and your sister helping them in this bomb shelter. sasha, all the best for you. all the best of luck. thank you for coming on again. we appreciate it from you as veterans traveling to ukraine to help to people hosting refugees or gathering supplies, americans are doing their part to help the people of ukraine. as you just saw, fox news senior correspondent casey stiegel reports on the various efforts they have undertaken. >> watch. it has been three weeks since the russian army invaded ukraine. and as the war rages on , americans are stepping up to help in more ways than one . >> i've been told by doctors that there are people dying. >> the last word on our training we are able to provide

and welcome back to our live continuing coverage. let's bring back in our co-anchor jonathan hunt. jonathan, i just spoke maybe you heard it with a woman named sasha volkova who a month ago was working in the united states as a web designer and now she is running a bomb shelter with her sister in kyiv and she said during the thirty five hour curfew, which really struck me, she said people there had a lot of time to think about whether one they're prepared to die too if they're prepared to kill, which gives you an indication of how much pressure and stress they're under because of these unknowns that they face in the coming days and weeks. yeah, i listen to every word of that interview and it was fascinating tracing. it is something that every single ukrainian has to think about now what are they willing to do for that country? and the answer you're getting from so many it clearly is we will do whatever is necessary and if that means killing
10:45 pm
russians, a lot of them are very willing to do that . that's why the russians as well have been taking so many casualties. meantime, there's never really been anything like the amount of aid the u.s. is bestowing on ukraine right now. it's unprecedented weapons plus an eight hundred million dollars. president biden hopes that it's going to demonstrate america's commitment to the freedom of ukraine. as the president said today, america stands with the forces of freedom in ukraine. what's at stake here are the principles of freedom, the right to determine to determine one's own future, a right that ukrainians have shown the world they will fight to preserve. >> welcome senior research fellow at the center for national defense of the heritage foundation, retired lieutenant colonel dakota wood. colonel, thank you so much for being with us and thank you for your service, sir. are we doing enough? well, i think we should all applaud the provision of
10:46 pm
the 800 stingers and upwards of nine thousand anti-obama weapons of various types body armor, machine guns, 20 million rounds of ammunition. so i mean, all those are great. it would have been better to have seen this before the war and perhaps that would deter putin from the invasion to begin with . so this strong showing of american support, the weight is deeply appreciated in ukraine and we need to continue this because putin is not going to let up on this invasion until he secures what he believes is objectives are and that is encompassing ukraine back into a greater mother, russia. so this provision of support is fantasy. think it needs to continue now we are seeing it make a difference and it's obviously down to first of all, colonel, i should point out it's down to the ukrainian fighting spirit most of all. but they would not be able to put that fighting spirit into action on the battlefield
10:47 pm
without those weapons. so it's making a difference as you look at the battlefield, how it's shaping up now. how do you see it developing over the next few days, weeks? are they beginning to fight each other to a standstill or are they beginning to push the russians back a little bit? >> no, i think it's going to be more brutal with a couple or three weeks ahead. it's russian doctrine to kind of have this slow, methodical approach encompass cities, pummel them into submission, starve the residents out and just the level you know, the, the buildings, etc. you chechnya in grozny, the capital city there is just a classic example of the russian approach. so most of the video footage we're seeing is from the ukrainian side that there is video and evidence hearing from the russian where they are parading captured us missiles. you know, these anti armor missiles, entire things that have been captured from
10:48 pm
ukrainian forces. this is not to disparage the ukrainian fighting spirit, but it's not one sided. i mean, the russians are making gains and again, this huge commitment of vladimir putin himself to a thousand plus russian soldiers, various types of all the equipment, a long range missile strikes. we're going to see this ratcheted up even more and it is going to be heart rending to see the devastation some of these cities. so this war is far from over and it may be a standstill that would stretch into months . right. and colonel, when we started getting word yesterday of this attack on people waiting in a line just to get bread, we still we got word of this strike on a theater in which according to ukrainians, civilians were merely sheltering. it took me right back to the 90s, the war in the former yugoslavia, the direct shelling of people just waiting for bread there, shopping
10:49 pm
in markets for provisions. those were the things that brought the international community into the former yugoslavia. any chance that these kind of atrocities do the same here? are we absolutely staying out of this in terms of boots on the ground? no, i believe that governments in their response to include the u.s. government are actually being shaped their policies are being shaped by popular opinion expressed in social media news media outlets like fox news and that these continuing showing of atrocities and those examples you provided were great examples. they were very heartbreaking, popular opinion is going to swing the involvement of these countries. and i think, you know, with russia, vladimir putin supporting bashar al-assad in syria, for example, in syria using chlorine munitions against civilian populations, we should not be surprised if those same sorts of tactics use of chemical weapons is also seen here in ukraine.
10:50 pm
so it's going to be public outrage that will force governments to do things that they would not otherwise want to do out of fear of escalating this particular war . lieutenant colonel dakota wood of the heritage foundation, thank you for your service to our country, colonel. thank you for your service to our viewers tonight with that analysis. it's very interesting the colonel there saying public opinion everywhere in every country here is very important. and i wonder public opinion will begin to weigh on president biden back . yeah, and president putin, which is why he has worked so hard to cut off any kind of communication between his people and any outside information getting in . jonathan, thank you as always. vladimir putin. meantime, a former kgb agent has ruled russia with an iron fist since 2000, but the sanctions imposed on his country by the west could lead to unrest and change. matt shoemaker joins us now with his views.
10:51 pm
the retired navy lieutenant junior grade who worked for the defense intelligence agency. his last assignment was on a russian desk in the european command's joint intelligence center. matt , it's always great to see you. the washington post asked the question today, is putin coup proof? and they didn't really answer. but i know that you believe that he is pretty well insulated. >> explain that if you woodmere trace it's great for you again. well, putin has been concerned about a palace coup for the last two decades. the former russian foreign minister andrei kozyrev last week noted that russia's rulers have a long history, if you will, of having an armed escort, as you said, either to the grave or retirement. and russian history is filled with unexpected outcomes. but one point i want to highlight is that in 2016 in particular, putin created the russian national guard. it's a three hundred and fifty thousand member strong internal military force that avoids the regular military chain of
10:52 pm
command and answers directly to putin himself. that certainly helps secure putin's position against any attempted coup from the military at least. and something interesting happened today in putin's. he voiced his concerns about treachery in the ranks in a televised address to government ministers, which was he was visibly irritated and downcast and it was a very, very interesting speech he gave and it was at least according to him, he claimed that the invasion was going according to plan, but he made a specific point to lambast the oligarchs in particular. >> so that's another aspect that i'm interested in . yeah, the trees in the trees in this oligarch shot a russian expert out of the university of michigan. his name is casey casey. he said that dissent has enormous risk. quoting here, if you mobilize against putin and you fail, you are looking at jail, exile, death to move against him and fail is hugely costly for you and your family and that
10:53 pm
kind of iron fist crackdown that really can tame the opposition. >> absolutely. and i think we've seen that over the past decade at least with the way that mr. putin has gone after the news media in particular, that has been always a key focus of his is to slowly tighten the noose, if you will, around freedom of speech. so i mean, we just we just saw it in the past couple of days when one of the news members of russia one was seen protesting in front of the tv and she was arrested afterward. thankfully so far she seems to have been let go. but that's that's the kind of activity that we're looking at from from mr. putin himself. yeah. i want to play this because you talk about you know, you talk about dissent from the inside, maybe from the outside. lindsey graham is is holding fast to what he said earlier in this war . listen to him and i'll get your final response and by your call to have the assassinated, you still stand by . i hope it will be taken out
10:54 pm
one way or the other. i don't care how they take him out. i don't care if we send him to the hague and try him. i just want him to go. yes. if john mccain were here and he'd be saying the same thing. so lindsey graham is still in favor of this , doesn't know how , has no idea how , but he's in favor of it. what do you think of that kind of sentiment? it's a little bit difficult to say. the my initial gut reaction is that that's certainly a very emotive response. i think from what we see on tv it's understandable that reaction is out there. i think from a governmental or policy perspective that becomes very problematic, that it's been illegal for the united states to engage in assassination since 1981 at the very least, but to speak more to the sentiment in general of having mr. putin removed. i don't think there are too many people outside of russia that would be sad to see mr. putin go at this point. >> that shoemaker always good to hear from you, sir.
