7:00 pm
as always thank you for being with us you make the show possible. in the meantime we have thus be one of next. we hope you have a great weekend we will see you next week. >> we have a lot to get through tonight to be your fingers crossed we haven't gotten any accountability for those that lied about the laptop. we begin tonight with the big news of the day. he held a call with china i
7:01 pm
don't know what the topic was. it came one week with a lot of aid. while joe on the decided not to mention the skull during his first appearance of the day he brought her back into play clean up i guess. predictably she made sure to say he was in command. we have a detailed overview of efforts to stop the invasion and of course i just want to say that he also conveyed and described confusion when it
7:02 pm
comes to russia expects they have issued a warning after warning. beijing ignored this the fact that normally come back they came away from this clearly thinking may have the upper hand this not included their least a readout of the call. the summarize this this way. let he who tied in the belle of the tiger on his neck. whispering into the best in the
7:03 pm
business when it comes to this topic. >> stephen is here the president of popular restructuring. statement aside there was a lot of state today what is the goal of the president and you think he achieved it? >> does but a lot of statements from chinese officials and some propaganda out there. what he got in return were statements that were general but also some ambiguous statements like seeing results in the ukraine war. we are very sad to see him being beat up by the ukrainians.
7:04 pm
i don't think the chinese were terribly impressed with our wine we will have to impose sanctions on them to move them in the right direction and he has not been willing to do this yet. >> that is one thing china does not want. they don't love the fact that they're going to to be best friends with russia. >> i think he has been surprised by the response of the ukrainian people. the russian vet isn't looking so smart. the fact that the ambassador to ukraine said in this situation he told the ukrainian people
7:05 pm
that we will act responsibly. i think that he is saying that china has seen it is not a walk in the park they will install a puppet regime in the next few weeks. you might try to look away and that would be one thing. will he retreat from the agreements they just signed? of course but not because he was asked two today or any other day they will retreat because he looks more like a loser every day. he is talking less and less like a superpower every day. you see the numbers that then you see the numbers behind the numbers. i can see this virus hitting them hard and hurting their economy again.
7:06 pm
this be painful obviously i also see all the nationalizing of industries that are putting down entrepreneurship and very surprising really expecting new roles in their economy. do you really think they need sanctions at this time when he is about to be voted on? >> sanctions at this time would make china incredibly vulnerable even by their own numbers they have shown that the economy is slowing and fast because they've only shown a little bit of growth in the fourth quarter. and these numbers are exaggerated. as you have pointed out they are shutting down large portions of the chinese economy. it's critical for the tech sector as they go into a retreating state and they would not stay at the bottom had not been for this announcement a couple of days ago.
7:07 pm
china is where we want them. i don't think he really wants to do this. can be convinced the president to not give weapons? >> they are bound on their own trajectory through time. they are acting through their own interests. i wish we had a government that would do the same. sadly we don't. we have a president in the white house that has taken money from
7:08 pm
ukraine russia and china. >> my hope is that china understands that they are a fading power in russia. they're dealing with a newly reunited europe. thank you and have a great weekend. often times a talk to you and it's quiet. is a quiet there now? >> its early saturday morning. but on friday morning it was very noisy. the most significant aspect is
7:09 pm
that we are quite a ways away from a established border. one stray missile in the us will be involved. if they think the convoys are coming in they are fair game. reports are even meeting with his friend had to talk about what he wants in ukraine. we do have some reports that the president is willing to compromise on the neutrality. but it really seems they are
7:10 pm
starting world war ii over on this terrain. >> i was reading some of the transcript. >> contracting all the various negotiations. >> should we feel optimistic about this? >> we do see the outlines not in this makes a a lot of sense the problems going to be slowing things down. i think it's ukrainians doing well enough in their own territory they are even beginning to wonder if they can get anything back.
7:11 pm
>> this is in fact an interesting thing because i'm not sure of believe a cease-fire this might just be an opportunity for the russians to regroup. in the worst performance since the soviets. they may well need a breathing space. i don't want to give you the impression that the ukrainians are winning. they are in a position to fall
7:12 pm
at any moment. if they could capture this there is a distinct possibility that they will control the entire coast. just because they are putting up a impressive defense that they are winning. they are not. there is a fear in my mind that they could make this a grind because they are brutal and bloody. >> he's gotten contact on the ground. >> this is going to set the stage for people that bombed civilian targets.
7:13 pm
there's a reports of empty shelves and banishing goods. any final thoughts on where we stand? >> i think we should not make the mistake of leaving. i think we should just let this war continue to go and bleed russia drive.
7:14 pm
it is a record of failure in the worry that they will allow this war to drag on not using the power of the us. this is risking some sort of victory. the risks of this strategy are skewed to the downside. >> maybe we don't have the qualifications and the balanced approach. >> they are leaning on him and threatening him with sanctions. only if they take a lead will they actually see this and. i do hope they keep going in hopes that he folds.
7:15 pm
i wouldn't hold my breath this is just not the way russian history plays out. >> they do like to absorb punishment. >> fifty intel officers telling us this was russian disinformation. we will show you some of the worst defenders. an update on this ncaa champion.
7:16 pm
7:17 pm
tony here, from creditrepair.com. let's talk credit. what are you doing to improve your credit? do i need to improve my credit? that's up to you, but, a difference of 30 points could save you $60,000 or more over the course of your home loan. go to creditrepair.com.
7:18 pm
7:19 pm
7:20 pm
will they be any accountability over this laptop story? probably not. that had so many issues in the last 40 years after perpetrating this entire front.
7:21 pm
fifty officials wrote a letter before putting this on tv to propagate the lie. >> he is then turning this and using this on the campaign trail >> relearning how to exploit a ruling target. >> du think stuff like this was just planted in here to be completely fake? >> he is such an embarrassment how to keep them employed? >> e-mails found at a laptop at a delaware supply shop. we are supposed to believe that he dropped off his laptop and
7:22 pm
the new york post put this thing in print. >> he was the editor at the new york post when the story broke. i see the reaction to the new york times coming out for asking about the e-mails on the laptop. >> as i said online i can't even summon the anger in a reaction to anything like this. a couple of years ago my colleagues at the near post did the story. i knew the work that had gone into this honest journalism.
7:23 pm
this was a colton's information. they were just stories that collapsed under scrutiny. we got a paper that posts very honest stories. to watch everything being perpetrated accepting whatever intelligence community said. at the time it's a simmering anger with a lot of rage. >> i asked the attorney general at the time if they would see this tomorrow. this is what he said.
7:24 pm
>> we have the fbi working for me in the dark saying it was not related to russia. don't want to say that he lied at the debate. it was all about misinformation but i wonder about this. every important job in the government. be said that they knew this wasn't misinformation. >> this just shows you what the trumpet ministration does in the office. it was the hostility of the apparatus machine that hated trump from the beginning.
7:25 pm
everything they reviewed in the earlier statement work hand-in-hand with the state over the course of four years and then this thing came and they cooperated as well. >> it's the way the press interacted with his former intelligence officials. we have the reporters and the intelligence committee. it is not supposed to be so friendly as they wield a lot of power asking questions and when they say stuff you are not supposed to say that is right. you are supposed to check this. how about this? did you meet at the hilton hotel
7:26 pm
did you talk about taking care of your son? it was right at the beginning of the unraveling story. i hope you like your new job and i hope to see you soon. she received money from the richest person in russia. can you continue to explain to us what you are working with.
7:27 pm
>> i'm curious how he's navigating this when deciding sanctions. how did he allegedly get $3.5 million. this is more than whatever sanctioned in the past. >> is she right? no conflict of interest whatsoever? what she said is that she did not have the fact therefore she could not do this. 18:01 is when they began publishing. if you can take down one of the ten longest-running players in the united states then you can take anything down and that's what has shown requiring a
7:28 pm
thorough investigation. obviously the entire question of taking down a printed newspaper of record online has noah was news. that's not what the section was therefore. we need to have protection of the free press. frankly this is the largest gambling modern history. it clearly wasn't enough to make an outcome in the most recent election. if we knew then what we know no they were clearly involved in corrupt behavior and covered it up.
7:29 pm
>> everybody watching us and was working the story directly or indirectly. it feels like they are using the name that got them rich. we know where the money is but we have this investigation that's been going on for a few years yet the president is still dealing with the same countries at the highest level. >> we have travel records. his business partners are in jail. we have images of them together. would you investigate something like this or do you think your party what if you got control of the house? >> i've been a bull bug it doesn't let go ever. i don't get mad or do anything but the same would be true in this investigation whether it's me getting it or other people.
7:30 pm
the american people have to know how we are going to get this too not happen again. some of these activities have to be prevented by law taking down newspapers we had to find a way to actually change the law. this is what congress has to do. a short run and in the long run. if you look at what is happening now in the world think about this. problems with russia and problems here. please don't tell me you think ukraine has been in the news. of course china was a meeting hours ago but the president of the us. can you relate to what is going on in the world that needs to be
7:31 pm
followed up on? >> straightahead thomas becoming an ncaa champion. hours ago she raised again in the 200 freestyle we are standing by with all of the details. >> she failed to add a second national championship finishing fifth place in the freestyle event. her time 1.5 seconds slower than she did in the preliminaries. 's some people weren't happy that she won and a few people protested. others supported her skipping the news conference. >> i try to ignore this as much as i can. i focus on my swimming. and what i need to do to get ready for my races and i just try to block out everything else
7:32 pm
>> she competed at the university of pennsylvania. she was allowed to compete this year last month they issued new guidelines for athletes but did not enforce them in this week's nationals. some teammates and opponents have said this is not fair. have a team it at the didn't make finals today. it's heartbreaking to see somebody be able to blow away the competition. >> they supported her competing and started a civil rights lawsuit. sports are at risk the equal rights are being infringed. she has one more race tomorrow in the freestyle.
7:33 pm
>> this is a story that everybody is talking about. i thought that's what this was about. meanwhile playing the role of politician. a shocking new revision guarding tests. not as many revisions as we thought. uncovering this stick sharing this story in a matter of moments. don't move.
7:34 pm
7:35 pm
7:36 pm
7:37 pm
7:38 pm
>> we will not be able to do the kind of research if we don't get the funding we are talking about >> a hefty price tag is all of this needed?
7:39 pm
>> we actually need more than that. you might decide to weigh in on the midterms as well. he told the washington post that they are going to try to beat me up in public. is also a fox contributor in new york city. >> he is out there lobbying for more taxpayer money. >> the idea that he is a medical expert is a-determia-determi ner bit ridiculous at this point. half of this money still unspent republicans last week said take
7:40 pm
us out of the pot as it is still sitting here unspent from last year. we want new money on top of this this tells you how completely -- last time in june he said we could have a cookout and by december we were hit with a new variant that he wasn't ready for i want you to remember this when we talk talked to the cdc director. >> when something changes and it becomes hectic. as the director i'm focused on transparency. >> do you recall this?
7:41 pm
>> of course. it's funny for them to talk about transparency and data. may have failed entirely when it comes to being transparent and giving accurate data to the american people. the national center for health and statistics is probably even lower. when you're talking about such a small number of deaths they suggest about 900 children have died out of over 10 million that have been infected with the virus.
7:42 pm
they can't tell us how many of these children are healthy. what is best for people moving forward if we don't have accurate data? all of this happened as a direct result of inaccurate data. the final thoughts this other subarea.
7:43 pm
>> this wave took over and it there was really no increase at all. it's the same as spring wave that we have seen the last couple of years. it's going to be small compared to what we just went through. it's more going to be about the people and forcing it. don't freak out it's going to be okay. >> we are going to see the cases going up and down. the thing we are seeing from other countries is natural vaccines they were still able to present guests. is time to move forward its flu and cold midseason. >> the left is launching a smear campaign against a small college that story coming up next.
7:44 pm
7:45 pm
are you taking a statin drug to reduce cholesterol? it can also deplete your coq10 levels.
7:46 pm
i recommend considering qunol coq10 along with your statin medication. the brand i trust is qunol.
7:47 pm
7:48 pm
ignorant and i would call this a conspiracy theory. now they are smearing anybody offering a alternative.
7:49 pm
how this tiny christian college is driving a nationwide war against public schools. this made me laugh. >> are you trying to ban books and destroy the public education system in america? >> i love of the public education system and the charter schools are helping to fund public schools. you never get away from bureaucracy in this day and age. control the above here by countless experts doing these crazy things in school today.
7:50 pm
teaching children to dump everything in the world. i've gotten to know a few of these college graduates. i had to say after having deployed and having stepped all over the country it's a great school with some great kids. they know some great books and they know the location. they actually know what the discussion of physics is all about. it's really useful. this however is a threat to the left today. they have been waging a war against western civilization for as long as i can remember. it only intensifies meeting you guys are making a difference.
7:51 pm
education is a wonderful thing. the human being structure themselves out to know. we love to know if you get in front of a group of kids you can count on this. they want to know things. what do they want to know? they want to know what they are. they want the answer to all the questions throughout the course of their lives that is what these great books are written about. is very advantageous for these kids in this society where the news is always demanding something from you that we never expected. it's very good for a kid to step outside of this. if you want diversity read some books.
7:52 pm
you are invited into a huge conversation the greatest ever going on to this day. you can't read all of us if you just start with a newspaper today. >> laughing over them vaccine mandate. >> i was not going to compromise anything for this agenda. >> i see your sweatshirt. >> what a great school.
7:53 pm
she's actually working in my office right now. when you walk up to her she stands at attention. we don't have a bed free anywhere. we have a transfer coming in and what she said is that they don't ever talk or anything. there is a standard answer. and it gets boring after a while
7:54 pm
it's is dangerous not to talk about this. i'm not going to tell everybody how long i have known you. let's just say i was very young and so were you. congratulations on everything that you have done. we are just glad you're a national resource and a national treasure thank you so much. out here, you're more than just a landowner. you're a gardener. a landscaper. a hunter.
