russian tanks. several people were wounded. at least one has been killed. ukrainian tanks are around kyiv as intense battle for the edges of the capital continue. in some areas we understand from ukrainian officials, they are having some success, forcing russian forces back at least a little bit, for instance in kyiv suburb west of kyiv of machariv. it is street by street fighting and does not represent a significant victory issue but it is for the troops involved on the ukrainian side a symbolic one. supply issues that russians are suffering. we have video of russian soldiers going into a convenience store and helping

themselves to whatever they wanted from inside. this speaks to the problem russian troops are having getting food and fuel to their troops. unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in southern port city of mariupol, being described as some officials as hell on earth. president zelenskyy of ukraine says there are something like 100,000 civilians still trapped in mariupol, ukrainians are trying to get them out of there, it is a difficult task made more deadly by russian actions. they have fired on convoys and president zelenskyy said they moved in russians and kidnapped 15 drivers of buses who were doing nothing more than trying to get civilians to safety, adding to what president

unfortunately, it is very hard to see the extent of the damage and how far this tornado's path ripped through this community here. you mentioned arabe, just south of the french quarter and downtown new orleans. it is tough, people are waking up to see their home necessary pieces, trees and debris scattered across the community and learning one of their own has been killed in this. we don't know the amount of people missing this morning, that was one of the major focus for the st. bernard parrish. search and rescue will be top priority, many, close to 100 law enforcement officers will fan out going door to door, check on homes and see if there is anybody still inside that might

brown about her philosophy. what he shoe believes in. that didn't seem to happen. >> todd: that child porn sentencing line of questioning, obviously, the number one topic yesterday. as a prosecutor yourself, do you buy her explanation? >> no. listen, i mean, we have guidelines in place and yes, judges can deviate from the guidelines when you have a history of continuing diva united states from the guidelines that is a pattern. child porn is a significant crime. i prosecuted child porn cases. they destroy children. and you have some sick guys who like child porn. i guess i don't understand it. guidelines are in place for a reason. again, they are place for a research to you don't get judge browns who continually go beneath the guidelines. again she continued to do that. that was of concerns. todd, you know this. so i was a prosecutor. prosecutors also become defense attorneys but also defense attorneys become prosecutors

then they become judges. you are able to switch hats in the law. you don't have to be faithful to i'm a defense attorney and that's all i am. once you are not a defense attorney and you become a judge you stop defending criminals on the court. she didn't stop doing that. she was sentencing as if she was representing the defendant who were committing these crimes, which is very concerning. >> todd: interesting. >> carley: more questioning day two of that. more to come on that front. got get your take on that out of your home state of wisconsin supervisor trying to get the pledge of allegiance and the word prayer banned from county board meetings. here is her reasoning on that front. she says quote it doesn't feel like it's appropriate for us to be doing when in a pluralistic society we want to be inclusive and representative. at the end of the day i think it's divisive. she thinks the pledge of allegiance and prayer is divisive, sean. what's your response to this coming out of wisconsin?

>> you got to do this story slam my home state, carley? come on. >> carley: it pains us all. this is madison, wisconsin. it is crazy leftist liberal. a lot of us in wisconsin, if we could cut out dane county in madison and give it toism know, we would totally do it. there is a bunch of crazy left toe wackoes there. this is concerning that this is the ideology that we have in our leadership, even in small communities and, again, they don't love prayer, they don't love the pledge of allegiance, and this is the philosophy that they want to deliver to our children. and it just shows how woke our schools have become and how important it is for individuals, for parents to actually run for school boards, for county boards because they have a huge say in our lives. yes the senate is important. we just discussed that the house and the president is important. a huge impact in your life it's who sits on government roles on your school board, your city, and your town. so get out there and run.
