>> after a year and a half oftha platforms deny, suppressing, and appearing to give cover to the president's son and his questionable business dealings, that media is finally taking notice. they are still stopping short of asking the key questions. what did the president know and when did he know it? this is "outnumbered." i'm kayleigh mcenany here with
9:01 am
my cohosts, harris faulkner and emily compagno. also joining us, jackie deangelis and joey jones. you may remember president biden fiercely defending hunter be getting on the campaign trail. >> every single solitary serious investigator, including your network and others, have looked at the sense that there is absolutely zero basis to the accusation that i acted in any way inappropriately, or that my son did. >> you think everything that happened was kosher? you know there's not one single bit of evidence? not one single bit to say anything done was wrong? >> nothing was unethical. i'm not concerned about any accusations made against him. it's used to get to me, i think it's foul play but look, it is what it is. he is a grown man. he has the smartest man i know. in terms of pure intellectual capacity.
9:02 am
>> i love how he went to the eye, apparently that's all the media needed to hear. now there are reports that a witness who testified before the hunter biden grand jury was asked to identify the big guy. reference in the first son's plan deal with the chinese energy company. this is raising concerns that the president may have just been pulled into the federal probe. still as rich lowry pointed out the media's lack of interest in the president's knowledge or involvement in the lucrative part of the family business is palpable. if president donald trump are caught up in similar circumstances he would be hounded at every press conference and during every walk to marine one with the question of what he knew and when he knew it. that is undoubtably true. the media hounded to president donald j. trump. i remember. emily, this is significant. there is a secret panel that was convened. you had a witness who testified that he knows who the big guy is. he was asked to the big ideas. we know who the big ideas or can

survive don't maximize. the big guy, identified by bob wilensky is joe biden, that was a business partner of hunter was going to get a 10% cut of the deal. hunters associate james gilley reminded bob wilensky don't mention joe being involved. only when you are face-to-face. how significant now that i witness has been asked about the spirit >> all this does is underscore the fact that the rest of the american people have had this question all along. who is the big guy? now we have proof that the federal government is very interested in who the big ideas. i think it's quite obvious that when you are investigated crimes of this nature, investigations of this nature we have allegations of improper lobbying, tax evasion, improper financial receipt, and influence peddling. it matters who the associates are. add matters with whom you are connecting the dots. so the notion that the president
9:04 am
does not somehow at least identified as part of this molecule when we know for sure his son obviously assigned his brother is, is laughable. it's ludicrous to think the president would not and so might be identified as part of this. it doesn't mean he's guilty of anything, it means he needs to be a reference by the fact that the media has ignored this be the fact that the democratic party refuses to address this, is quite unconscionable it also begs the question that is as the justice department continues its investigation, which all signs point to potentially an indictment coming quite soon, it begs the question whether there is a conflict of interest between them and exactly who they are investigating. mark my words, president biden will be named in those documents. >> it's fascinating. harris, you know it's interesting -- you're reminding us now, emily, it isn't always the person that they are looking at who gets the shine from the grand jury. it's all those other people they are going to find out about. maybe some pressure will be applied their beer the current chief of staff of the

white house is ron klain. i thought this was an interesting bit of reporting. in september 2012, ron klain reached out to hunter biden for cash. $20,000. he had left his post then as chief of staff for vice president biden at the time. he was working as the foundation's chairman in an email he said he needed to tackle a piece of unpleasant business i needed hunter's help. cash. he said but we have to keep this low-key. we want to prevent bad p.r. just as emily pointed out, we don't know all the variations of truth and things that could come out behind-the-scenes in that story. we don't on the surface somebody had some access to something and somebody who had some cash -- those things are coming together. so they get a look at now because it's part of the evidence. this is some of the stuff that's being unearthed.
9:06 am
we have that email, let's put pop that up. this is significant reporting by fox news digital. we don't know what ron klain newcomb he had believed that hunter biden had resources to give to this fund. we don't know if he knew the extent of the foreign business dealings. nevertheless he wants to tackle a piece of unpleasant business, keep this low-key. my question is. is there a chance here -- hunter biden was getting money from rob claim to fund the vp residents? there is a chance for sure. >> absolutely. go back to the big guy. really what it comes down to us can they trace what i think would be 30%, which would be hunter's 20 plus the big guys 10%, can they trace 30% of
9:07 am
monetary value of a deal into a bank account for hunter and then can i take an surmise that one-third of that went to fund something for joe biden i can to take a step back and see it a little bit differently. if you read the whole context of the email. i believe joe biden crashed golf cart at the vice president's residence. it doesn't look like on face value it's much that they were soliciting money is much as the bad p.r. as they hadn't raised any money since the previous last president left. he is in charge of this organization that is needs to save money. he is reaching out to his inner circle to get 20 grand for whatever happened. >> i was under biden's inner circle to tap cash. you go to the people go talk to
9:08 am
least. there is not a not as much but hunter biden that's unethical. it looks like ron klain knows where he could get the money took the quickest. having worked in the nonprofit world everything that is not a good p.r., ella is pedicure. but going back to the big guy stuff and the fact that his laptop is evidence. we can find out if joe biden was in any way taking money that was that's a big deal. >> speaking of the big guy, let's flash back to the then candidates for the democratic party. of course joe biden back in 2019 -- here's what he said that about a son. >> have you ever spoken to your son about business dealings? >> i've never spoken my son about overseas business dealings. >> except here we go, here's the new yorker a few months later.
9:09 am
december 2015 joe biden not prepared to return to ukraine as they braced for a new scrutiny of hunter's relationship with burisma. raise the matter with biden but did not go so far as to recommend that hunter leave the board. as hunter recalls -- this is the important part, his father discussed burisma with them just once. that's what i hope you know what you're doing and i said i do. we have this duty of a picture with president biden and devon archer. hunter biden's business associate. but he never, jackie, never discussed this with hunter? >> it amazes me how the runway as they are not only by the media, but to a certain extent the american public that allows joe biden to lie like that. think about the media's coverage of this, think about "the new york post" story that exposed that right before the election. there are members of the american public who want to know exactly what happened here.
