washington state fraternal order presence marco blanco joins me now. >> good morning, thank you. seattle shootings are up 9% this year. you know violent crime in seattle is also up. it looks like people in seattle probably aren't ready to continue living life like this way and looking for a change. >> that is absolutely correct and quite frankly, this administration has really had some difficulty getting through this criminal justice issue because it is something that is really affecting our communities that we live in, you know, quite frankly i've been on shows like this before and law enforcement shows like this where they talk about the violent crime rates going up all over the country, not just seattle, but all over the country. where we have seen homicide rates that are as high last year and many metropolitan area higher than they have ever been in so how we look at this going forward with their communities, we need to make sure our elected

officials are handling the situation where holding these criminals accountable. but unfortunately they are failing to do so. it is times like this we are seeing with their communities where current recent ballot pole 80% of the american people want and are concerned about crime, but yet the local officials continue to take resources from our law enforcement profession. they are not holding criminals accountable, and it is only hurting your community. enough is enough and we needed to something about this in the community. >> joey: for almost one in four police officers left the force and 13 have come back in. what is the overall -- i guess, mind-set of police officers in seattle dealing with what seemsg them to do their job? >> so, you know, this is the mission of company not only in seattle but washington state. what we are seeing is officers are feeling to be valued and

they don't feel like they have the tools and resources to do their job safely and effectively. we are seeing law enforcement professionals leaving this profession at historic grades, which is causing a staffing crisis within washington. we are seeing washington change from a proactive approach of policing for reactive approach of policing and enough is enough. this administration we need the local leaders to actually work with the community of their voters and actually say they support public safety and they support the rule of law. they will hold these criminals, violent criminals accountable for their actions. >> joey: i know many in congress talk about defund the police and look at police as protagonist or antagonist or proactive in helping. but one of the things is homelessness. 91% of residency in the city cannot be safer to live in until homelessness is cured or solved. where are the police officers on

this issue? you guys have solutions that you feel like the city should take and aren't? >> i can tell you the homeless crisis is definitely a problem for public safety as well. we have seen throughout the administration how billions and billions of dollars to try to fight the homeless wastefulness, was but cdc reported earlier this year it is only improved by 10%. so that they are doing is not working. they need to do something different and need to work with the community to make sure to address this problem. >> joey: you are addressing the whole state of washington but the state of seattle seems to be the place with presidents going there to talk about claimant, not crime or anything the residents are dealing with. how do you think the residents of seattle will think about biden? >> obviously this administration is out of touch with what is going on within the communities because even though specific issue, it is affecting our

us all in this country. we talk about those working at the border before migrants or any other city to bus to delaware and d.c. we have border agents there that really don't feel supported all. >> well, they are not supported. and you were talking about the morale at an all-time low and it should be. they have leadership that not only hates them, but wants them to fail in every respect. i know you know from your military career, if you are in a situation the people leading you not only hate you but want you to fail, want you to fail at your mission and don't care if you are harmed, there is no way morale could be high. it should be low because they are being treated so horribly by this administration. >> joey: you know, we talk about numbers a lot. we talk about personages. i know border is up 27% but real numbers, 60000 out of 221000, those are a lot of people border patrol agents are left. case-by-case what to do with them and even title 42, the

rules change. >> and they are not even just being able to determine any of these case-by-case. this is just a massive processing session going on. when they talk about these numbers, we are looking at millions of people that are going to come in here just this year and are going to be releasing to the country and are going to stay in the country because we know from the dhs secretary, they are not removing virtually anybody given the most serious criminal so everybody process and here is given de facto amnesty. so the numbers will remain high and border patrol is not going to be able to do their job. with respect to stopping criminals and this massive sentinel opioid crisis, they are not able to address that because they are merely processing migrants encouraged by this administration. >> joey: speaking of celebration topic at the border, we talk about title 42 and the premise here is the cdc said the

previous current administration has used it to turn people away or send them back immediately but what i understand from you has not been that effective the last several weeks. basically all we know from mexico pushed back from it. are there other mechanisms that congress or the administration should use or can use to help stop the influx of migrants that we expect will come on title 42 is gone? >> i think the main thing with the administration is just they do not have a desire to stop the spirits with this idea come i think a lot of you do you hear a lot of people talking about they should do this or they should do that. they don't want to do that. they have and want as many illegals to come into the country as possible. they campaigned on this, and they are pushing open borders agenda. this is the most successful part of the administration because this is what they wanted to happen and it's happening. they can do a lot of things, but

the first thing they can do is say we are stopping this, don't come. when the vice president said something similar to that last spring, she got so much pushback they never said it again. they simply can't say and cannot use the word illegal alien or illegal immigrant. they called them, you know, something undocumented migrants coming irregular migration in all this nonsense. it really goes back to the earlier guests on the crime issue, they are not taking this issue, the crime issue or any issue seriously. that is why we have this problem. but they want to continue and they will do some things to make it look like they are trying to address it, at least now with little media pushback here they are hoping that will weigh in and continue with open borders policy. >> joey: you are absolutely right. crime is a big concern across the country and even el salvador. the impact of lawlessness at the border but lawlessness in american cities and port estate

attorney melissa nelson is an example of someone who is reducing violent crime simply by rejecting democrats filled policies. what are your thoughts on what the district attorneys are and elected officials are across the country as far as the crime and keeping criminals in jail? >> isn't that amazing we were talking about district attorney that is putting criminals in jail and actually aberration now. it would not have seen this five or ten years ago. but it really does show these democratic policies which you are looking at anti-police movement haven't hit apex in the summer of 2020 but progressive prosecutors and now the data is in and these policies have been such a horrendous failure. we have more people dying, i think, homicides up 40% from 2019. and another thing with the anti-police movement, police shootings, policing shots are up

from matt and obviously what is happening in ukraine. there are a lot of things to consider atrocity, a tragedy but 30,000-foot view, give me an assessment of the war and where things stand? >> again, i look at the geopolitical picture where russia and china has aligned in an effort to achieve what we call one road bell initiative. to expand the russian border and take over to launch a larger economic resource for the west. so mariupol is a key strategic area because taking over land and supply chains, supply route is what this is about. and later on down the road, that is why it is important to strip mariupol from sub storages or the border access, but you know going back to something joe biden said we have no evidence of mariupol being taken, you have one small brigade that is still trying to hold by asking for immediate

international support. unfortunately, they are not getting the support needed to. >> joey: that will upon the ground, how can we support or how can ukrainian military support those that are there trying to defend the city? what type of weapons or strategy can be implemented? >> certainly i think the javelin system as well as other types of air defense systems are key, but you know they should have started back when 190,000 plus troops on the border. they should have started 2014 when original incursion took place donetsk as well as crimea. we should have utilizing budapest. where is the european union and all of this? they have the greatest risk and sitting back a lame duck as a result of energy dependence on bond russia. this is why united nations, security council needs to be stepping up. from a ground and strategic level getting the necessary drum support, and getting necessary javelin support, the things you and i had on the ground is what

is key. unfortunately the biden administration continues to slow role neocons, anti-industrial complex to build up. that is really what is going on right now. so biden needs to take a stronger stance against russia, against china and adversarial nations. unfortunately he has compromised. >> joey: we talk about supply chains and aiding ukraine and $8,800,000,000 more of support to ukraine. you have been involved in the supply chain and started a company that does military defense contract essentially providing tools to those that need it. other resources on the ground and you have been to ukraine and my dad so the resources on the ground with sending $800 million worth of stuff to be put in the right places, and the right hands to be used correctly or are we to lay on that? >> joey, that is a real risk. you can put as much sly to poland or surrounding areas and try to see what you can do to try to get supply but russia has

been effective to cut off supply chain here is to not get to the front lines ohmic gnomic front lines. when we were trying to supply i.c.e. or terrorist operations, we have supply chain group to fly in an aircraft, get those on the ground, get them into trucks, transports amount, and get them out there. unfortunately, it might be too late. when i was there in donetsk, for example, the support, the key issue is actually sniper resistance. so, you see and i'm still impressed by ukrainian result as a whole that they are able to hold off much larger force with little surprise them a little resources. but again international community wants to stop russia, iran alignment they must act now. >> joey: real quick you are running for congress and the leader in this with military experience. and addressed an audience and

basically said we needed to stipulate what it would take for u.s. troops to be put on the ground in ukraine. he said to say that is not possible would be a severe mistake and we have consequences but what are your thoughts on u.s. troops going to ukraine? >> well, i will be the first to tell you, joey as you know ping interventionists and think we can get boots on the ground is not really what is best for america. we are sending $3 billion as an example over to ukraine come of it yet, we can't send $3 billion to finish the wall down south. listening to your earlier segment we are concerned with borders 9 miles away. we can't get the necessary equipment, funding and general supplies to our border patrol agents but we are worried about ukraine and border patrol. we need to look at bigger things stop adversarial nations and russia and china. getting back to america first energy independence, the attendant that would actually hurt our enemies far worse than

putting eight on the ground. >> joey: we will switch gears, are you running for congress? are you talking about bringing common sense to congress? mask mandates hanging on for life in blue cities. they were voicing frustration that in new york i will jump on a plane and put a mask on going to the airport and i take it back off and fly to nashville. what are your thoughts on the mask mandates, and why are the blue cities pushing this on the people? >> i will tell you, joey is seems they enjoy the power they have. this is about running of the running authoritarian style government. we saw where when you put outside of the political science, we look at medical science. we see quickly that when you compare florida and the way governor ron desantis handled things in the way governor cuomo handled things in new york, in fact, open for society, businesses, schools, et cetera not forcing masking and things like this, we have better numbers. so no real medical science that supports all of the things that

do they keep doing this? >> right, because i think they do it because the way things have played out traditionally with this, again, specifically when it comes to republican lawmakers is a major corporation and a major company says we disagree with this. we are being pressured by the left to take this stand, to voice this concern, and the republican whether a governor, congressman, senator or just completely rolls over and says, you know what, we don't want to take the hit that might come to be politically. so we are not going to do anything. we will see things your way. again, go along to get along. they have run into a different set of circumstances in florida with governor ron desantis who says, "yeah, no, there are consequences for this. you are biting the hand that feeds you and we are not doing

this." >> that is a cool point and have to wonder does this change anything because never before has a company suffered politics were diving into politics. now that disney has lost millions of dollars when this bill get signed into law, you know, a special tax exemption status and things like that, do you think companies will think twice down the road about doing the same thing disney did? >> if there are a lot more ron desantis' out there, yes that will start taking place. florida will be a place where things will not be business as usual. he's been very, very smart on this. he's been very, very strong on this. and other companies, if they are thinking about doing such things in florida, they've got another think coming. >> i know you are interested in talking about higher education and the erosion of it but this is definitely an example of that. harvard hosted a chinese government party official last week who previously said the communist party was a great

party and had my of the chinese leader. and this is part of his speech and there are lots of lies fabricated by some people with own political agenda. there is no and not single evidence that there is something there. what do you make of this speaker spreading falsehood at harvard? >> i'm just glad he didn't say something truly, truly controversial like only women can bear children or two plus two equals four and ancestors were two centuries ago. that will actually get you kicked off campus. but no, this is a reflection of what academia has become any more in america, which are these hubs of anti-americanism teach them to hate your country. but if it is in any way favorable to a different place, a place that is truly hostile
