for the job and at worst incompetent. the department of homeland security is comprised of 22 agencies. under mayorkas' leadership, he has taken 22 government agencies which are known for bureaucracy and made it more bureaucratic. this is another example of incompetence of hypocrisy. we don't need this position. the troubling thing about this position, even if he picked someone incredible is the law enforcement agency. the fact that he admitted before congress under oath that he did not properly vet this person to put in the key position of the department of homeland security is another example of mayorkas incompetence in addition to lack of border security and in addition to the bureaucracy he is creating for ia's and the border patrol. you throw in the delays with fema under the department of homeland security. this is another example of mayorkas not only needing to go

but also congress needing to look at dhs and say "do we really need this in place? do we really need to make all of these government agencies more bureaucratic and put a week incompetent cabinet secretary in charge? the senate and it takes two-thirds vote to convict. so it takes 67 votes to convict after the house and peaches. whether we are talking about joe biden or mayorkas, i don't believe the senate will ever convict, especially even if it is 52-48 majority. what we need to look at in the house is the makeup of dhs. and i think if you look back, it was created after secretary by the republicans and it has taken a bunch of government agencies important like ice, fema, border patrol. and made them even more bureaucratic appearance who i think we need to look at dhs and look at the position of cabinet secretary and say, do we really need this? has it to improve sense dhs created, or has it made important government agencies like the border patrol and i.c.e. more bureaucratic? i think that is the angle of the republicans need to take when we take majority. >> carley: congressman you and

fellow republicans calling for a leak into the supreme court draft opinion and a former bill barr and his take on this, watch as. >> ultimately, this should lead to prosecution if it is borne out this was known to disrupt the court, which it appears to have them. it could be the justice department. it could be a special counsel. >> carley: he's talking about a special counsel. he also said the leaker could be charged with obstruction of justice. we were originally hearing no crime was committed, and now there seems to be sort of a change in discussion on this. >> crime was definitely committed. and we demanded from the doj for an investigation under title 18 of the united states code. in a removal of federal documents is a felony. also it is against the law and a felony to try to intimidate a juror. both of those things happen with

the leak of the document. this is another attempt by the left to disrupt the supreme court. you know, they started out. they tried members of congress, democrat members of congress tried to stack the supreme court appear thank goodness for kyrsten sinema and mansion for rejecting that. now they tried to intimidate the supreme court. these private deliberations between justices should be private. and that is the way the judicial branch was set up in the supreme court set up here and we have liberal activists that have gone in and leak these documents. they need to be held accountable. i don't think it will be very hard to determine who leaked the documents because they leaked them to reporters at politico. those reporters can be asked and we can start there. not only does an investigation need to happen, but we also need to hold the criminal accountable because it is a crime under title 18 of the u.s. code. the one we are looking at the investigations and names may come from the investigation. there is a lot of regulation of

tell us what the rate height means for folks at home. >> good to see you, carley, good to be on. the d.c. military policy talk for average american of whom i am one. the government has been spending money it doesn't have and the second thing it has been doing is issuing bonds, securities and a third thing we can't do in our households which is great money. my wife and i say to our kids money doesn't grow on trees. the feds have been making $4.6 trillion and i have been saying and you have been saying for a couple of years that will come home to roost. that is what we are living through and this is the bottom line, carley. the federal reserve has to act swiftly more than yesterday. and faster than what they are saying. otherwise we will live with inflation for many years if not the better part of a decade. >> carley: i was also reading this will, of course, increase the borrowing cost on everything from mortgage rates to credit

cards, interest rates. so, i'm sure when people hear that, wait a second, if the fed stepped in things would be getting better. are things going to be getting harder for me now? >> they are. you know i'm an optimist and i would love to tell you as a messenger that it is going to get better. it is going to get worse before it gets better. this is america so we will get through this. i don't want to be a pessimist. but the bottom line, when we go to the grocery store, there are certain things we can't buy. when we go fill up our gas things we know it's not filling it up. that is going to get worse because the thing that has happened as a result of reckless borrowing and spending at the slow walking of this policy by the federal reserve is this: our savings as a people has gone down dramatically. there are historically high record rates a couple of years ago. and there are savings rates declined 85%. we can't continue this from the standpoint of american households. we need real courage by our

policymakers which we didn't see yesterday. >> carley: the big issue is the fed a hikes, the interest rate hike is necessary. you are saying it should have happened sooner. a large majority of people in the financial world agree with you. so now that it has happened to me inflation 8.5% now, when can we start to see it decrease? >> well, this is where it will sound i'm more pessimistic than i usually am. but by the federal reserve's own calculations, it will take four years for this slow walk policy to actually have affect. we will be an inflationary environment until the government stop spending money it doesn't have an until the federal reserve takes more drastic action. the only way to get ahead of inflation if we use history as a guide is to look back to the early 1980s when the federal reserve took drastic's with action to increase rates and it was hard for a year.

about maga are people like me that feel just like me, that stand up for what is great in the united states of america. i fight each and everyday for inner-city kids locked up in prison. kids that are fatherless. we have a nation with the most fatherless kids in the world. then you are going to tell me folks just like me with my belief system, that have done so much blood, sweat, and tears for this nation, that we are the worst political group ever? let's not forget that the democratic party created the kkk. i have a lot of my family members who have suffered from extreme racism. so, to have a president say things like that, i take it personal. and i pray for him. he needs to do something. and this also gives us a little bit idea of where we are going as a nation. and what we will see coming in 2022, excuse me coming in 2024. this is going to be a divisive

battle in which we see what the new call is right now in the white house today. >> carley: yeah, he made that comment during the same speech where he was arguing against roe vs. wade being disbanded. he said he is a child of god. a lot of people say if you are fighting to keep abortion in place at a federal level and then you talk about being a child of god. in another speech he made, he said that roe vs. wade law is what all religions support. i mean, how can you, how can you make that statement? and he's a christian person. so, i think he is actually struggling with his party's position on roe vs. wade. >> i think he struggles himself internally spiritually. he is spewing the spirit of the antichrist on the united states of america, a place that was founded by people pursuing god. and so, do have this type of

battle a happening right now, a spiritual battle, but it really is sad. that is a black man. some of these things offend me. i'm looking at abortions which are decimating the black community. we are already the most fatherless and you look at who has the most abortions per capita commit is still young black girls, right? i had abortions before and to think about really the play on words that happen with the most vulnerable people, including myself, it is just not right. so the president needs to take responsibility for that and understand who he is damaging. you look at our nation right now and the only minority group in america that hasn't grown in 50, 100 years as the black population. >> carley: why is that? >> it is because of a portion policies that are hurting our people. if you look at the school system right now and you look deep inside, look past the kids that are making bs and fs and

tell them they can't learn. what happens to a man, they are in jail and involved in gun violence. last year one city in chicago, we had 407 kids killing other kids. you are talking 12, 13, 14, 15-year-olds shooting each other. so our community is hurting right now. we have an issue in america right now that we need to take a stand and understanding and doing something. this is not about white, black, green, purple. we are all americans. at some point, we need to get to where that leads the conversation and not talk about paint a picture of maga, which i was just in omaha, nebraska, with 14,000 maga folks laying hands on each other and praying over each other. >> joey: you talk about these kids, 14, 15-year-olds and chicago getting in trouble when they should be leading and become leaders and showcasing the best of america. dave chappelle was attacked on stage a few nights ago. and just beefed up security come
