justice that hires that person. >> do we have any sense of where this might have come from as a try to thwart this opinion on one side? where there are some discussions that could have been a conservative to solidify the five justices and overturning roe. >> i think right now from the public's point of view, really all we have our theories. but, what's going on right now and the supreme court building is at the marshal of the court. member there's approximately 260 security officers that work at the supreme court directly. that is important to understand justice roberts was conducting an internal investigation for the reason that's important every single one of the people that work in that building including law clerk to be sat down and asked did you leak this opinion? did you give this to anyone outside the court? that person whoever that is who is asked that question we face with a stark choice. on the one hand they could light no i didn't do it that is a

branches executive which is a president the legislative which is congress the judiciary which is the supreme court in the lower courts. because the other branches have a business, cases in front of the supreme court it would be very difficult for in my opinion the u.s. supreme court to invite in these other branches including the fbi in the executive branch to conduct investigations of the supreme court's internal workings. their electronic files because remember the fbi and the department of justice and the executive have a case is literally pending before the supreme court as parties think and be very difficult to invite a party into the supreme court to investigate the supreme court in the supreme court is making decisions about that party pretty think that is why john roberts justice john roberts as being very careful to make sure this is supreme court matter is being handled internally and does not involve outside organizations including the presidency of the department of justice. >> there are some democrats crying foul about the confirmation process here senator kiersten angela brandon.
