it is national security concern at this point. we have things being reported by very credible, laudable people within the military etcetera. we want to take a look at this. we are concerned about when the military especially, not only military standpoint, what is in our area of operation and how we can go about protecting our warriors. one thing that i was concerned about yesterday is in this situation, you're having things reported from pilots and from a ship, what about pilots and commercial pilots, are they able to report findings, have they seen findings? these are things we're interested in, as well. there is tremendous lack of data that we have. we know that, rerecognize that. what we want to know, what this is, what the things are that are being seen and where are they coming from.

we need to do collection on this. i do caution as we collect, if there are other nations that have seen things like this, that we work with our allies on this and not necessarily weigh in with any of our adversary who may be reporting similar type things because i don't trust that. that is the path forward, there are a lot of unknowns. we detect things from our sensors, this may be opportunity to improve what our sensors are capable of doing. it is important to pay attention to this. we have a lot of issues we need to be dealing with right now, as well. >> carley: all right, you heard the department of defense yesterday testify on this issue. so what is your gut telling you, is this alien or adversary? >> well, that we don't know. i can tell you that we certainly learn more in the closed session, as you might expect and
