than enron. >> it had taken enron 16 divleers 10 billion in access to 65 billion of access and took them 24 days to go bankrupt. >> jesse: i'm sure you remember the fall of enron the energy trading company that collapsed after years of fraud when investigators looked into the smoking wreckage of that firm, they found that it was rotten to the core and was built on the hundreds of millions of dollars of faulty accounting. enron was just a massive scam and the company became the poster child for failure and corruption in cormingt america. two decades since the collapse of enron. today we are seeing the signs of another company infected by the disease of corruption. twitter. it's like the enron of social media. fake and corrupt. they rigged the presidential election by suppressing really important information. information that voters had a right to know about.

but hunter biden's laptop from hell went under the radar. twitter made sure you didn't speak a word of it election time if you did you were blocked, shady. it's not just that twitter is basically one giant fraud full of fake accounts, fake tweets. bots. all of it. in fact, a brand new analysis from the firm sparkturo shows that roughly 20% of active accounts on twitter are fake. this is like finding out one in five of your friends is a robot. paid to hang out with you. more on that in a minute. what a miserable company run by a bunch of miserable people who hate conservatives and free speech. but don't take my word for it project veritas showed us this week how rotten to the core twitter really is. they had some undercover producers talk to a senior engineer at twitter and here's a clip of what was said.

>> jesse: that was a twitter executive you just heard. driving home the point that twitter isn't interested in free speech and fairness at all. and they don't think you deserve to know what's going on. that's crystal clear. but the thing is elon musk doesn't see it that way. he thinks that a free speech platform like twitter should, you know, allow free speech. so everybody who works there is mad and they are coming after him and nothing is off limits.

>> jesse: classy. they are mocking elon musk for a syndrome they think he has if he does. but it's not just the loan loons at twitter losing their mind. the left needs twitter. for years it used it to push their narratives. take down political opponents. suppress any information that makes them look bad. we wouldn't have cancel culture if we didn't have twitter. so, without it, the left loses a very sharp blade and they are terrified of that. elon musk is holding up the deal with twitter because he believes the company is fraudulently hiding how high the number of fake accounts is. and he doesn't want to pay a premium for a company that's not as large as they say they are.

elon musk is smoking them out. exposing their corruption. and that makes musk public enemy number 1. the attempted purchase of twitter sent shock waves across the big tech and government establishments and now they are going after him. the security and exchange commission is investigating elon musk. claiming he failed to properly disclose a large purchase of twitter stock within an appropriate time frame and just today the national highway traffic safety administration said it's opening a special investigation into a deadly tesla crash that happened this month. notice how tesla just got kicked out of the s&p index today. coincidence? i don't think so. musk is a smart guy. he knows exactly what's going on. today, he tweeted this: in the past i voted democrat because they were mostly the kindness

party because they had become the party of division and hate, i can no longer support them and will vote republican. now watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold. he is not wrong. democrats are terrified of losing power. but it's pretty obvious that no one is more worried about this twitter takeover than joe biden. i mean, his entire twitter profile is made up to make him look more popular than he actually is. we already know he doesn't put out his own tweets. his handlers take care of that but now it turns out a huge chunk of biden's followers aren't even real. a new audit found that half of the president's followers are fake. just spam accounts or bots. not real americans who care about what he has to say that's sad honestly not surprising. the biden administration has been using twitter as a political tool to control his image and more importantly to

these are things i believed in ever since i have been a conservative. the left doesn't really believe in anything, jesse. all they believe in is a series of ideas people hate. so the way they try to win is by telling you don't vote for us. but just don't vote against the next guy because he is a racist. that's all they have. so if they can't control the information stream, then that doesn't work. because then people start to see and hear republicans and they are like wait, wait, that doesn't sound like a racist to me. so they want to control the information. it happens with their ideas, too. when you think about it, right? the libs of tiktok phenomenon on twitter. it's literally a twitter account liberals from tiktok has no edits at all and post their own videos on twitter. if a liberal channel wants to take my content from "unfiltered" or your show "jesse watters primetime" and post -- go. >> jesse: not media matters. >> great advertising for the show we love it liberals are so terrified of their ideas not being able to control the information that even when you post their own stuff unedited

bickering and ideology get in the way of solving problems. we have a crisis right now, the american public education system is hurting our kids. math and reading rates are plummeting. studies are showing that kids are talking less. they are already warning about a third of elementary school students need, quote: intensive support. but our leaders don't care. they are more concerned about how they are going to force masks back on kids. some school districts in california and new jersey have just implemented fresh mask mandates in classrooms this week. we're setting these kids up for failure for a generation deep in a mental health crisis after lockdowns, forced masking, woke ideology. kids are feeling depressed. just look at what happened in the buffalo situation. a teenager whose school system failed him decided his only option was it turn to the dark web where he was radicalized. a failed education system let that happen. but the so-called experts think they haven't done anything wrong.

watch. >> do you think the benefits were greater than the costs of closing down our elementary and secondary schools? >> i think it's very difficult to give a definitive answer to that. >> jesse: of course it is. so while fauci and the teacher's unions are acting like their policies haven't harmed our kids. parents see their actions for what they are, just a slap in the face. they are starting to walk a&e way. we are seeing a mass exodus in public education. since 2020, 1.2 million students have just disenrolled from the public school system. as parents turn to alternatives like private schools or charter schools, catholic schools, home schools, now, for normal people, this might inspire a moment of, you know, self-reflection. you would think radical educators might stop and wonder whether their insane ideological curricula might have something to do with parents cranking kids

bringing away from these lunatics he joins me now, this is like whack a mole pops up in another district in another state. how have you been doing with uprooting these crazy situations out of these public school systems in virginia so far? >> well, first of all, jesse, thank you for having me with you. it's so much fun to be with you. and, of course, what we saw back in november was a clear statement from parents that they wanted change and i made a clear statement that parents matter. and starting on day one. we went to work to reempower parents in the lives of their children. we empowered parents to decide whether their kids wear masks or not. we have empowered parents to decide whether sexually explicit material should be in the classroom that their children is in or they could choose for a different set of instruction materials. we, in fact, have recognized that this learning loss, this severe penalty that was felt by

kids across the commonwealth of virginia but also across the nation for the shutdown in schools is translated into kids that are so far behind. today, 42% of virginia's second graders aren't reading at level. and we won't get them there without massive intervention. so we passed our virginia literacy act to transform the way that we are teaching k through 3rd graders thousand read. and how about this? we are using reading coaches and teaching them about the science of reading and all teachers will actually use the same curriculum. this is nothing that we can nibble around the edges. we have to run straight down the middle and recognize that we have seen a failure in public school systems to teach our children the basics. how to read, how to do math, how to do science, and so we are taking it head on in virginia. tomorrow we, in fact, will be releasing our first massive education report and, unfortunately, it shows that virginia's kids have fallen

behind, extended school closings, lowering standards, and a huge honesty gap. the gap between what state standard tests and what national standard tests show proficiency demonstrates that there has been a blind eye turned towards proficiency in excellence we are changing that starting tomorrow. >> jesse: that's good to hear. >> reestablish excellence in our schools and going to make sure virginia's kids are ready for college or a career. >> jesse: good this was common sense. you don't smother a kid with a mask and send him to a computer in his dark basement for two years. i guess a lot of these experts have no common sense. something that's going to be a challenge for you and many other governors is going to be what's going to break in june. the biden administration is now warning about political violence because of this leak it's coming. you're going to have a roe decision in june. and the department of homeland security said there is going to be people in the streets. there is going to be radical protests. there could be violence. they expect violence.

how are you prepared as the governor of virginia to deal with that? you have already seen what's going on against the supreme court justices in your state to begin this release was done to cause chaos. stoke picketing and parades in order to try to influence justices. oh, by the way, that's why governor hogan and i have absolutely demanded that attorney general garland enforce the federal statute which is to put people in jail for parading and picketing in front of the justices' homes. >> jesse: i don't think he is going to do that. do you think garland is going to step up and do that? >> i will tell you i don't think he will and he absolutely should. it's clear in the statute that that's illegal he should endorse it. >> jesse: what are you going to do? >> we have substantial assets in our state police we are poised ready to make sure there is no violence at our justices' homes. the justices are safe and the neighbors are safe and

demonstrators need to be safe. >> jesse: all right. good. .>> the reality is as weed head into this final decision we in virginia are preparing to make sure that yes, people are allowed to exercise their first amendment rights. i actually uphold the constitution on the day that i was sworn in so help me god. and we will protect people's rights to exercise their first amendment rights. but we will not allow violence. we will not allow looting. >> jesse: good. >> we will make sure that the lou is onheld. >> jesse: new task force focused on crime in your state. you know once it gets hot, governor, that's when the guns come out and a lot of these precincts. what's the plan? >> well, we are at a 20 year high murder rate in virginia. i inherited it. we, in fact, are seeing local police overwhelmed. of course, they have been through a period of depletion of resources and demeaning of their officers. it's the hardest job in america. so we brought together a violent crime task force. we are working across the

commonwealth with local leaders. with police chiefs, with sheriffs, with mayors, with church leaders with community leaders, to bring federal resources, state resources, and local resources to bear on this terrible increase in violence. the reality is, we have to have more resources. we got to patrol the streets. we have to arrest people, prosecute them, put them in jail. and the reality is turning a behind eye to crime is a way to escalate it, not diminish it. >> jesse: all right, well there is going to be a lot of action in the state of virginia this summer. i'm glad we are all getting prepared. thank you very much, governor youngkin for joining "primetime." >> jesse, thank you for having me. i always appreciate it. >> jesse: the latest in the pennsylvania senate race between the mehmet oz and dave mccormick. we are seconds away from big news there. plus, a hollywood actor gets arrested and attacks police for misgeneral derg him.

>> jesse: new hollywood footage we had to show you just got released the star of the flash ezra miller arrested in hawaii chief breaking news correspondent trace gallagher has the details. >> this happened in march when the 29-year-old actor best known for his role as the flash was arrested on the big island in hawaii for disorderly conduct and harassment. police say ezra miller became agitated at a karaoke bar in hilo and began yelling obscenities and grabbed the microphone for from a 223-year-old woman singing karaoke and lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts. when the owner of the bar could not calm miller down he was arrested. and now we have the police body cam video where miller first tells the officers to be careful with his wrist and hands because he is a musician and doesn't want nerve damage.
