we will be donating to our guests. >> america is free. that's it for this special t edition , tucker carlson tonight. we'll be back at eight p.m.will it's the sworn enemy of lines from boston fungus group. this weekend with the ones who upup . welcome to this special edition of "hannity". i'm tammy bruce and for sean. and tonightsp more breaking news out of south texas where the director of the texas department of public safety is in . >> authorities made the wrongho decisiones m when waiting to breach the classroom door of robb elementary o as a gunman went on a deadly rampage. here with the latestt as fox's own jeff paul jeff tambe and the more we learn about this shooting, the harder to
11:01 pm
get to this community to digesto the minute by minute timeline. what led to 19 students and two teachers being killed o in one o the most glaring new pieces of information that we're receiving deals with the fact that investigators believe kids at the time of k the shooting inside the school were calling 911 one investigators say they were begging operators to send police in to helpp. and investigators say this happened multiple times throughout this entire ordeal. t all ofhi this happening accordig to investigators while thereap are 19 officers huddled upe in the hallway of the school.ha now more and 45 minutes went by before border agents gotfo a master key to open up the classroom door where they then entered and shot and killed a suspect. ion remais the question remains, despite investigators saying that mostst of the shots happened in the first few minutes, how many kids could have beends saved ifd officers had managed to g get inside that classroom earlier? en texast dps says while the incident commander at the time thought there was no
11:02 pm
longer a threat to the kids and that this mass shooting turned intoshoo barricaded suspt they believe that was not the right call. we were there were kids in the room clearly risk, by the way, even when need to go back to shooting , there may be kids that are injured that may have been shot but injured and it's important for life saving purposes to immediately get there and render-s now what is unclear right now at the moment, tammy, is how many of those students and teachers t who were in that classroom died during that 48 minutes span from when all those officers were in the hallway to the moment they got into that classroom and took down the suspect. >> all ofhat . >> jeff, t thank you so much.h. the entire thing clearly is obscene and those questions make it even just more awful doesn't it's just really unbelievable and inexplicable. so texasin police are underru intensifying scrutiny tonight for their apparent failure to immediatelytiorpp evn after many 911 calls from the building.
11:03 pm
parents u and all of us rightlyr are demanding answersig and demanding to know why thered was such a delayed response whileel school children were gunned down in cold blood and get this according to a new report, the elite border patrol tactical team that killed the school shooter that was the one that engaged him was initially prevented you guysro from the building by local police that the local policeca kept them from getting into the building at first. now a a full examination of the police response is still ongoing. but earlier todayno governor abbott said he wasr livid about the officers response. >> takeut a look. i was misled. i am livid about what happened. i was on this very stage today i years ago and i w was telling the public information that has been told to me in the room just a few yards behind where we're looking at right now.
11:04 pm
and when i came out here on this stage and told the public what happened, it was a recitation of what people in room told me, whether it be law enforcement officials are not law me enforcement officials, whatever the case may be and everybody has learned that from the information that i was given turned out in part to be an inaccurate and i'm absolutely livid about that .ho >>ul yes. and he should be .ag the tragedy is also raising questions nowesti about what we can do to better secure our schools to keep kids safe and to harden those soft targets. proposals, of course, include armed school resource officers in every school, single points of entry and school buildingsts and multiple layers of security inside and outside of the building. but amid this sickening and evil massacre, we're also hearing stories of heroism and sacrifice like the story of father jacob elbow elba rato, an off duty border patrol agent who was getting a haircut when
11:05 pm
his wife, a teacher, texted him ,quote, there's an active shooter help. i love you. he got up from the barber's chair, grabbed the barber'sp, shotgun and headed forld a school. he entered the building. he began clearing roomsin and evacuated his own daughter and other students here now for reaction, national security expert aaron cohen alongity with former d.c. homicide detective and fox news contributor ted williams. know, aaron, let me say i think all of us know even if we're not trained, the instinct is we've seen with some of thesee' parents, including the mother that hopped the fence and ran into that building before it was cleared and rescued her own two childrenn that the law welle the training is that you go in and you don't stop until you get that shooter. what is your take on what you heard today which clearly is very concerninga i think to a lot of people? re well, there's been a very
11:06 pm
clear active shooter protocol in place since columbine, which is 30 plus years ago, which essentially led the lawh enforcement community to developing a pretty basic but functional active shooter response plan which basicallyly stated that whoever shows up t on the scene and he makes entrye to the school, the law enforcement officers are armed. th typically to what to do what's called forming up into a diamondle . rmation they can get more than two orfi three officers with them atce a time breach or go into the school and then begin to head towards the direction of the fire. the sole purpose is to t neutralize the threat.yo right. you cannot put you can't you can't save somebody on an airplane sitting next to you unless you put your gas mask ore your oxygen mask on . so that's been in place for a very long time. so clearly the protocol with this and i want too be careful not to not to pooh a pooh all of law enforcement across the country because
11:07 pm
this agency happens to be taking heat right now. i'm veryen pro law enforcement. i've been training law enforcement for almost 20 years and it just seems that for whatever reason this particular agency didn't haven' the appropriate protocols in place or didn't havet the confidence to be able to pull off making entry with a t single two orhr three officers and for whatever reason they bottleneckedte that hallway leads me to believe that they didn't have the stress training to be able to engage that shooter and throw is under duress. what i mean by thatat is there's a massive chemical dome that happens. we go into tunnel vision. we're going to or excuse i froze up. i understand. but that's the training is for. training is to get you used toth an environment. so whether it's adrenaline that gives you amnesia or any other stress hormones don't drop because whether you're taking a test or if you're training for an active shooter - ,you do it over and over in the military over and over and over again.
11:08 pm
so when you're really doing it, it's it's, you know, normal. you ted, you're capable of functioning on denaturalizes 70% s. so that's the point. and let j me let me just let me just say that we all hear we clearly don't need to reassert our support even though we do every day for law enforcement. i am known for this , ted. you, sir, are every one watching this network but that support ted because werd have standards as a result support law enforcement in the military.. but it als h to be that whenll those standards are breached that we are free to be able tow note when there is a problem. d, i mean, ted, i think that this is what we're dealing with here . it's all we've got to address what happened here because serious and so many people died . you're absolutely right. it must be addressed. and i got to tell you where i would like to start is from a governor who says that he was misled, yet he's not told
11:09 pm
us who misled him or he is not no headsds of road to this department of justice partment of safety officer who came on the day and said that it was the wrong decision where they decided to hold up and have a barricade rather than to go in . i think what is needed and necessary here is an independent and investigation. t you had 19 angell's 19 angels and you had two teachers to todai as a result of police officers, 19 of them, 19 lawhe enforcement officers around twiddling their fingers instead of going in . and your head brave young girl who was on the telephone on nine one one call and she was trying to get some help. she was saying i need help there are kids in here and theyr
11:10 pm
are like, please send somebodyy ,please send somebody. and nothing was happening that must be investigated. tammy, you know, even today, erin at the press conference there was an fbi representative there, a fieldn agent who said if we if we find that there is a federal nexus, we will investigate. but clearly either it's the state or ifs the federale government, which certainly they don't have a history ata this point of being really an entity we can trust either. but my goodness, something did happen with, with either leadership or someone else wheny you have this magical decision that no more children are att risk, it's now a different thing that seems like inexplicable. is there any way to explain it is inexplicable and i think that the the, the really important piece of meat to hang on to here is the lack of fundamental response. again, the responder hasli
11:11 pm
one goal. ngs we've been dealing with this in israel for years. or it a doesn't matter whether it's a terrorist or whether it's an active shooter. >> the motive doesn't matter. the action getse addressed the same way. right. which is to spot the threat, neutralize a threat and sweep here and look foror more threats until that entire u school has been swept and even then the property doesn't get sterilized until a special entry team goes in and methodically opens up every closet. this agency knows that there was a major colossal failure. i to to your other guests point here, i do think it needs to be an independent investigation. i also think that the leadership of this police should take the brunt of the responsibility and i think that would be the right thingoud to do at this point. and let's get some fresh blood in there. and this is a tactical this is a tactical situation here which for every second wasted another innocent person was killed. so that's how long it takes to pull the trigger, erin, which means that these officers need
11:12 pm
to be flying with the threat. that's it.ying thank that's your job. hi you know, i think we're where this nation also can learn a great deal is from israeli f police, israeli military,ro the israeli approach in dealing with dynamics i think could ling useful.o butha we're going to have tord be looking at this across the board. thank you very much. now in the aftermath of the massacre in texas,ti president biden ison turning his attention to the so-called gun lobby. >> and earlier today said amendment the second watch process when in god'sn name will we do what needs to be done to not completely stop c fundamentally change the amount of the carnage that goes a on in this country? second, that is not absolute. the idea may 18 yeare old kowalke induced by weapons of war designed and marketed to kill is i think is wrong just violates common sense.
11:13 pm
all right.nd on sunday, the president and first lady will travel to t texas to meet with the families of the victims. and meanwhile, over in washington,ea in far left democg are intensifying their calls for more firearms tearm restrice like massachusetts senator ed markey who says it's time to pack the supreme court to makegu sure that gun controln lawswn aren't struck down. >> take a look. we have to take very seriously the threat which illegitimate far right supreme r court posesn to gun safety in our country. >> we have to expand the supremeth court to get back to twowo stolen seats that the republican donald trump took from the american people so t that we can ensure that when wea put gunun safety laws on the books they are not overridden by the supreme court of the united states. >> shameful that earlier tonight at the nra convention
11:14 pm
in houston the 44th presidentenr donald trump warned against disarming law abiding citizens and laid out his plan for school safety. >> here it is when joe biden blamed the gun lobby, he wasas talking about americans t like you and along with countless other democrats this week, , he was shamefully suggesting that republicansll are somehow okay with letting school shootings happened and not okay with it. this rhetoric is highly divisive and dangerous and most importantly, it's wrong. hasrt no place in our politics. what we need now is a top to bottom security overhaul at schools all across our country . everyy building should have a single point of entry. there should be strong exterior fencing, metal detectors, and the use of new technology to make surese that no
11:15 pm
unauthorized individual can ever enterth a school with a weapon. >> all right. well, here for reaction, republican senate candidate in nevada and former attorney general in his state, adam laxalt, along with arizona senate candidate mark radovich ,who is the current attorney general of the grand canyon . ate gentlemen, welcome aboard. letf me start with you, adam, if i could you c when i hear this s what we see this people complain that these things keep happening. there's never any change. part of it is because allr this political rhetoric all the air out of the room. nobody gets to the i suppose more boring solutions like school safety doors hardening those targets and you can't raise money on thate necessarily. money on that necessarily. so we go from one to the other with these and so we go from one to the other with these people who've been in washington fororn 50 years and then they they still complain about it. ee seeenw do t you this playing out when everyone still returns to legislation,gi politics, blaming, et cetera?
11:16 pm
you know, people want leadership and for president t biden to rushha to the cameras that night without the full information and once again blame one hundred million law abiding gun owners is an absolute disgrace. people want to know why wee dis can't fix these things because washington trots out the same attacks over and over . we looked at this when i was attorney general.ce we met with law enforcementt and the exact same solutions s a are here.e. and todayfe we proposed a few ago every time you see a breakdown of communication, you usually see that the schoold and the local law enforcement did not have proper training.g. they didn't have the shooter response. you don't have single entrance and you need to make sure the door the classroom doors actually closedos. sking for we have been asking for armeder guards in schools for a veryy long time. it's democrats that refuse to allow that .
11:17 pm
so this is a tired deal and i hope that americans willot reject this because this is notg going to protect our kids. we need real solutions and we need them now. you know, it's understandable. we were understandably emotional. we understand we want major solutions. we want things that are going to make a difference goife. i and yet we do notice that it's almost as though some problems the politicians don't want towa have go away. right. also know that we can havee these ideas, but they also have to be implemented. right. you can throw money at a problem, have these strategies. but if people don't implement them properly, we have any, iss . and if we like with that man that ran from the barbers with the barbours b rifle in order to make a difference, w those would be the guns that would be gone that wen would be relying on just the police. and we've seen in this particular instance what happens when you'reeta relying just on the police with the firearmsrms you have te
11:18 pm
me all of our hearts broken. wewe saw this story. i know many of us have been praying for comfort for the families and praying for peace in our community and ours world. and i think one of the things we're not talking enough about is what has happened in this country the last 30 years to l this evilness that's kind of perpetuating to younger and younger kids and whether it's the effect of the media or video games, it is having an impact and at the end of the day, the biden administration, the democrats are trying to politicizes a this issue. aws but if more gun laws work, chicago would be the safest city in america. a are and we know that there are places like your previous guest was talking about israel. if you go to places like where i have been the border gaza, every single one of them is that community is armed because of the worry of terrorist attacks. they harden targets and we know here in america we guard our banks, we guard our money, we guard casinos with armed security and yet what are weha doing to our most precious resource, our children? and that's why local communities need to come up with solutions that includeear making sure doors are locked, making sure that we havema the proper security in those

classrooms, including police officers. office interesting.l out of a lot ofth people dide pull outf the nra conference and there's a thing called projected identity where one side projectsitere we know about b projection in general but projects an accusation about who someone else is. and if you hear it enough that someone else adopts the false projected identity d and i see conservatives doingoi this on issues of morality, on issues of what who they are and what matters. if you hear your racist long enough, maybe you'll begin to believe it. people pulled out ofth the nra convention when in fact it is american citizens who are members that that's the lobby and it's a continual kind labeling of the average american citizen when this is exactly where we go each time this is a time for courage, not a time to back down. the media when the democrats, when hollywood professional sports franchises,
11:20 pm
when they go all in on something, you better believe they're wrong on the issue. are voters and americans want us to stand up for them. they are the voiceless. so we went through thiso. with the blm to you know, as ar former t top cop to watch republicans not stand up b against the blm riots to not stand up and defend law enforcement. it w tookee weeks before they thought it was safe enough to go out and defend these institutions. we need people out there today, right now and those that did speak today like senator cruz and president trump, you know, because it'sm the law abiding citizens that deserve to be respected. they deserve to be spoken for and guess in the last few years a lot more people have understood that self defense is paramount in our community and went need more defense for our schools, not less. yes. and we you know, law enforcement to police clearly have been under fire , haveig
11:21 pm
been denigrated. youca can understand how that's depressing. has an impact on their sense of self and also the desire to become law enforcement. all off this has to change as biden is attacking law enforcement again and as they say they want to take firearms away from law abiding t citizens. everything they do, gentlemen, makes everything worse and this is no different. adam and marc, thank you very much. now while the bush administration is telling you to get an electric car , there are reports that blackouts may be possibleth this summer. we'll tell you about that next. and later, a terrifying new video from the new yorkew city subway. larry elder and leo terrell will be here to react. stay with us. sir, you won't faze me. i'm like alegra won't make me drowsy. electroshocks working two times faster than claritin to take alegra for allergy symptoms take over . you enter the sweepstakes.

edition of "hannity" nowri tonight the biden economy is going from bad to worsede as new data released just yesterday reveals that the us economy can tracted by one point five percent in the first quarter of this year more than afterusly reported so one full year of the bideny presidency, the economy is shrinkingis for the first time since the start of the pandemic. and if the economy contracts again like that , americaca will officiallyia be in a recession. and meanwhile, americans are facing more pain a at the pump this memorial day weekend as the average priceke fore a gallon of gas hit four dollars and fifty nine cents a dollar fifty a buck and a half higher than last year. but of course nobody in the o bidenne administration can be bothered to carese because firss they don't and apparently it's your fault for not leasing an electric car and some solar panels. just listen to energy secretary jennifer granholm. >> and the future is electric. o
11:27 pm
and so the president has a goal of getting to 100% clean electricity by 2035. right. so honestly, i mean, i leased a chevy volt myself and i lease the solar panels that are on my garage and that means that literally i am driving on sunshine. >> oh , great. there you go.at i had no idea we had it. w we had a secretary for nonsense but apparently we do. rt but get this, you guys, according to a new report from a power industry groupf, a big portion of the nation iss now at a high risk of summer blackouts. so ask yourself if you can'tf afford solar panels likeeh the secretary, but you o can somehow get your hands on an electric car .charge it i how are you supposed to charge it if the power is out here with reaction? foxio business contributor phil flynn. so we we see this .o americans don't seem to somehow connect and certainly the leftef doesn't remind themhe that electricity ism required c
11:28 pm
charge up your electric car andt that of course comes from coal and then you've got to be able to get to i it. i mean, there's there's rolling blackouts and i remember in texasas, in the winter there was that freezing of the wind turbines and so they had no electricity. how do you explain m this obsession? >> that doesn't make much sense . it's absolutely crazy.y crazy. and somebody who of course when you drive on sunshine that could say, hey, i'm driving, i'm such a coolsu oh , you know but what ? d mr. sunshine doesn't shine. going to have a bad day, right? if it's raining and stuff? listen, this isis a first time w in the history ofor the world in economic that usually whenhe we have technology we usually replace an older technology with the better technology. right. this iss the first time ever we're going to more inefficient technologies and replacinglo technologies that work don't work. and that's whyk.k.an we're seeig
11:29 pm
this craziness in the world.we you know, we're talking about not just california risking blackouts this summer or texas where you've heard it. we're talking about major parts of the entire midwest and the east coast.e you know, we're talking about gasoline prices that are already at a record high and you know, whether or not technically we're in aot recession, a lot of people feelf that we're in a recessioneehe and every time they go to the gas pump and they have to h make a decision to go somewhere gas tank or do i buy more food? and this is bad economics. is it's it's bad for the environment, believe it or, not. and atat the end of the day, the modern administration is payingr a price for it with their poll numbers. well, you know, this seems inexplicable to people because as you said, it makes no sense for us to go backwards. ac i mean, the left always says you don't want to go back to the 50s and yet that's to be sendingm us when it comes to energy or the 70s or the jimmy carter era. i mean, for the damage that's done, it almost seems, of
11:30 pm
course deliberate. phil, thanks for that perspective. i appreciate it. so little time tonight , but it's it is inexplicable now. meanwhile, new data from the u.s. census bureau shows that america's largest cities lost more of their population last fiscal year as eight of the top 10 largest cities lost residents. new york city led the wayth with a three point five percent. decline. i think it would be more, which comes amid surging crime, particularly on the subway, forr example. now just watch a stunning videor of a woman beggings her fellow passengers for help while they stand back and watch. so if youar are warning this can be hard to watch. >> here it is .
11:31 pm
you know, my goodness, that was a stranger taking that stranger, that woman he did not know arang by her har and moving her through and everyone's just sitting there. here nowne with reaction. larry elder and leo 2.0, terrell gentlemen, i think if y either one of youou or i would like to say myself as well, we're on that train. it may have been a little bit different. larry, let's start with you. what can you explain and give us some perspective of the nature of what's unfolding and in most of our major and important american cities? e well, tammy, in your segment, before youou put your finger on it, when you talked about the police being demonized, demonized and being demoralized, looking at new york city, they're down hundreds of officers officers have retired . ha they're having a great deal of difficulty recruiting people because ofty r this perception
11:32 pm
that the police areag engaging in systemic racism. you have a d.a. who's soft on crime a bit of anything when the dust settles, if they ever apprehend try this man, you're going to findon out he had a vey long criminal record, probably should not haveeha been on the streets as far as watching this thing, it's hard to watch w it to me. it will be even harder to watch sitting there and doing absolutely nothing. you know, i'm not some tough guy. i don't have c i a ccw, i don't have a degree in martial arts, but i'm healthy and i'm fit. otm and there were a number ofen other in on that subway who arem healthy and fit. and it seemsee to me somebodyg should have done somethingn including and especially the gentleman who had peace of mind to filmwho f a thing but dt do a thing to try and stop it. >> and i'll tell you, leo, atan the same time, just a couple of weeks ago, a man randomly was shot dead in a subway car and there's a point where you just don't know what's going to happen to you because of the levelec of violence. it's one thing for people to engage in fights. right. but this is something, leo, that including in los angeles, the kind ofin violence and follw home robberies and the
11:33 pm
brazenness of the kind of i violence we're seeing. what's your take on this? well, i'll tell you, tammi, you and larry, it's spot on . look., let's be very clear . people are leaving the cities coal but because of the quality of life is poor.. you've got i mean, you've got homelessness, you've got crime and you've got this going on in democratic cities. and let me be clear, it starteda during the summerrt of 2020 when these riots and the funding ofpo the police and it's been ongoing for the last two years, it's tolerated in the city and with the progressive prosecutors, the democrats, they don't care.eyeythey they're going to get their're g lunch in novemberoi . but up until this point they don't care and they're doubling down and on that bus i would have taken action. i don't care. i would have taken action. it is immoral not to take that woman with a vitto and no one took any action. l you know, larry, i thinknk there's also t an understanding that if somebody stopped that guy, the police maybe
11:34 pm
t wouldn't even havehe arrested hm or if they did, he'd be out in five minutes and be coming back to look for the people that called the police or stopped him. this is the other thing is that it's this revolving door that if you stand up to crime, the criminals aren't going to be kept away fromba you. >> they're going to come back for you. absolutely. you've got these soft on crime days. you have these days i believe t in cash bail. they believe that bad guys areuy victims ofs society as opposed to victimizing people in our o societyur. at and one p more point, tammy. another reason that people are leaving, there's any silver lining behind the covid pandemic is that parents were able to see because of the virtual learning how in their education is. and if you're a young family, you cannot buy a house. you have unfunded pensiony liability because in these blue cities they have these unions that they keep giving money away to and you have a poor quality of schools where in california half of all third graders cannot read at state proficiency levels and the math scores are not much worse. youu add it all together. it's a perfect storm that's causing people to leave. >> leo, final word here.li

new masterchef junior third season on fox and watch this time on fox network hulu when you can watch the news business news headlines on sirius xm any time anywhere . fox news on sirius xm america is listening back to this special edition of "hannity" on tammy bruce. now the michael sussmanm case is now in the hands of the jury e who began deliberations earliera this afternoon. . the jury will decide whether or not sesemann lied when he said he wasn't working for the clinton campaign while pushing the phony trump alpha bank hoax to the fbi. joining us now with reaction, attorney for president trump alina hoba and fox news legal analyst greg jerrett. greg, someone notedgreg online earlier it might have been maccarthy. i'm not sure or or jonathan turley that the defense's argument to the jury at the ende
11:41 pm
was this doesn't count is a lie because these people he was peddling it to knew it was a lie. soso i guess that lies don't count if you figure it out.it isn't that right? c give usan an idea of what we can expect from this point forward from that particular jury and what they might comey back with a lie is not a lie. if the recipient of the lie realizes it's a lie. right. and that's the most cockamamie explanation or rationalization for a lie that i've ever heard and that was basically endemic ,the entire argument for the defense that , oh , this is a fine, honorable man sitting here accused he's innocent and these were just blanketla denials at one point in timenk he contradicted himself and incriminated his own clientn by saying first he really wasn't representing hillary clinton during that fbi meeting and then in the next breath he said but because the fbi figured out he was representing
11:42 pm
hillary clinton in that meeting, it's not a really a lie . so itwa was hypocritical. it was h contradictory. he incriminated his own client. so i went ahead with professor jonathan turley, as he said earlier today this is the worst jury for a prosecutor he has ever seen in his life and the professor is correct. this is a jury that is stacked h with hillary clinton supportersl ,three hillary clinton donors, a problem ises,, there really are no republicans in washington, d.c. from which the jury is drawn. you'd have a better chance of spotting a unicorn than a republican in washington, d.c. and so, you know, the defendant is hoping they will acquit him simply because he hates donald trump and they do too.e well, you know, we're going to find that out. cinating lena, you've got a fascinating client. you've got a manve who'ss the target of everyone because
11:43 pm
he threatens the status quo and this kind of absurdity that has been we've been drowning in now for generationsr . there's one guy for who is sayig enough is enough and it is a threat because of i the impact of simply calling it out. but we do have and americans are noticing this that therems two systems of justice, that it seems to be in fact rigged against president trump, that he realized i'm sure he does. do but the fact is, is that this kind of proves his point and his arguments about what the system really is made of. he grasps that right that thists is tough but in fact it's because he's been correct. he not only grasped said he's been saying it from before he was even elected as president. i mean, the man knows how corrupt it is and that's why he's so passionate about h defending this countryow and correcting the country. you. know, he just went a and spoke at the nra at a time that it's not popular to speak
11:44 pm
at the nra because he cares about this country and he said every child's name that was shot and rang a bellnd for them. now that is what a president does. and what we're dealing with right now is beyond corruption. satel like i justttion through two weeks of the soap opera about the demise of america. it was despicable and to see a jury that i hope they come to their senses when you have a text message. so obviously states, hey, i'm about to lie to a you, you how can you not call that at lie? but the defense literally had to speak about david copperfield and present this case as a date for david copperfield. trick cas. that was the best they had. if i ever as an attorney and you have to do that , please come get me and tell me tell me to step down if that's my defense because it was a sad moment. it seems like, greg, that they actually think that likerd they don't have to, try hard that this is going to be a given. what is the worst thing
11:45 pm
that could happen to sussman? well, so could be convicted and you know, he could actually be sentenced to a couple of years behind barsof for lying. federal government agency is actually very lucky that he wasn't charged with conspiracy to defraud the government by knowingge willingly peddling phony information to a government that's defrauding the government. and he did it with otherser., including hillary clinton. and they should all have been a charged with a conspiracy to defraud. they don't that interesting. isn't that interesting that in fact they weren't? doesn't that tell you wer everything else we need to know? right. yeah, it it really does. that . you know, lady justice peeks beneath the blindfold and weights the scales of justicewa. if you're a republican, it's weighted against you. if you're a democrat, it's in your great faith. wow. well, you know, look, this isrd
11:46 pm
going to be an extraordinary thing to watch. it's great g to have you both here. terrific insight. president trump is well taken careteic. thank you , olina., greg, thank you so much. now this weekend we will be celebrating memorial day to honor our fallen heroes after the break, we'll speak with a couple who are helping veterans find hope while fighting ptsd. stay right there. doesn't care that i have to work a double shift on testing . i'm not ready. it's not like they're going to move it. i need a school they can work around. all this might be like, okay, a lot is asked of me to answer your questions. graduate one more time, showhi youde a nonprofit, the universiy of you. >>to why hide your skin if you pexton has your moderate severe eczemama or a topic dermatitis

so don't do it alone. download trouville the money work. >> welcome back. on monday the nation willob observe memorialse a sacred day to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in honor of this country. aheadea ofd this important day, fox news digital spoke to tom satterley, an army veteranra who served during the battle of mogadishu, which was portrayed in the film black hawk downme where 18 american soldiers lost their lives. on thatom reflectingriri fateful day we went to
11:51 pm
mogadishu, somalia to try tofr stop a warlord, mohammed hassan, a deed from starving millions of people to death early on . then it started to heat itto up and then one helicopteran shot down. . i saw it flying overhead could hear here crash off in the distance. st we just everything changed. everything changed. it was now a rescue mission and we went on foot fth the secondary on it went on foot to the crash site to secure it and try to save lives and recover bodies that didn't make it and that's when they pinned us down, that feeling of being trapped and you just want to go home like i want this to be over and that's when you realizet it's real combat. youan can't't just go home and y don't want you to go home. r they want you dead right there . if you could imagine thousands of people that wantle you dead, this is the most horrifying thing you've ever beenn through . wow. now afterer a career in the special forces, tom experienced severe ptsd that even led to thoughts of suicide l.

his life was saved by the love of his life. his wifefe jen . and together they created the all secure foundationea to help his fellow veterans heal from the trauma off war and i'm honored to have tom and jen join me right now. o great to meet both of you. and i have to say especially we know memorial day is for those who did not make it home. but but tom, we live in a world now with, with war and with medical help and withgh flight where we are surviving our troops. you can go there, you can get severely injured, you survive and we're ablesu to bring you home or even with the ieds and everything. soev we have more of our troops coming home who in world war two would have would have died on the scene leaving us with individualavin who've hd inexplicable and usually unknowable experiences that we never would have had before. this is i think what really we're now dealing with hereco in the countryun and what
11:53 pm
your foundation addresses. >> absolutely. i mean, thank you for having so on . it's we usedca to callf the invisible wounds of war , but now we know you can conduct brain scans and it's no longer an invisible wound . it'san actually an injury that can be treated. so there is hopeth forer manye s people out there that typically would think this is a life sentence. >> you know, jan, we're seeing a lot it's been a difficult week for the country with everythingbu we're dealing with . but one thing we've seen well for yearsrs now is that it is women who begin to maketo the difference, who are working in partnerships with their husbands, with their loved onese ,with their families,nd defending their children, looking to the futuree. when you saved your husband's life and you started up this business to save th more people, was was this something you imagined doing? is this something that came natural for you or was it was it kind of difficult and a surprise? i think it's both. i you know, i started serving alongside tom in special operations as a camera and film person and got a really inside d look and oncee i startedem

learning about the epidemic ofi the suicides that were plaguingt this community, i just couldn't turn the other way.do so i don't think that this was something that i grew up dreaming about, but i'm certainly glad that i'm here and honored to be here. well, you know, god has a funnya way ofy of having a plan for us , right? what's the little adage of likea we makend plans and god laughs right. i mean, this is and thist? is you it's about following our path even though it's one we could i not have imagined.d. so what isis your foundation? dowhat we doen know where we're beginning to understand ptsd? just that it existsegin and nowe have to understand how do we help but what is what isd your foundation do exactly and what do you see is really the right approach, the best approach to help our our wounded warriors so all secure foundation serve special operations, active dutyt and veterans not only the warrior but the entire family and healing from that war trauma.that w and that could be manye're t different things every singleraa individual is different. soy the approach to healing from pts is very individual and our
