6:00 pm
on thursday the gma produce teaming up with the democrats t bring you a full hour of januar sixth white supremacist insurrection. but it wasn't. there is a lot of outstanding questions. on thursday, we will get into them in detail. we will see you then. welcome to hannity. democrats want this to be january 6th week, but they will not give you the full story. by the way, there is a lot of context and texture and a lot o things they will not be telling you about. tonight, we are going to give you the vital information about what happened on january 6th, what happened on january 4th. we will tell you why the democrats are not serious about preventing something like this from ever happening again. just like they ignored the riot in 2020. they are mostly peaceful. okay. tell that to the thousands and
6:01 pm
injured cops, the dozens of dea americans and the billions in property damage that people suffered. democrats will purposefully omi details on what happened on the sixth and before the sixth. we will give you those details that you likely never heard before and we have special guests that will confirm all of this for you. people involved in all of this. but first, joe biden is back from the beach. he is seething with rage tonight . not because of record high gas prices, which have now more tha doubled in just 18 months under his watch. he is not seething because the american people suffering from backbreaking of a 42 year recor high of inflation and looming recession. not because the border crisis, which is getting worse every day . and by the way, as we speak, th biggest caravan to date is now approaching our southern border. buckle up. let's not forget that joe has simply turned the page on our
6:02 pm
total americans trapped in afghanistan. we will hit the number 300 this week if you are counting like w are. it is day 296 since joe abandon fellow americans behind enemy lines and confirmed two weeks ago by tony blinken. as we speak, joe biden is seemingly unconcerned with any of these serious crises and he is doing nothing to resolve any of them. instead, biden is throwing a pity party for himself because he is polling lower than donald trump and many are now beginnin to compare him to jimmy carter or even worse. with the midterms fast approaching, democrats have nothing constructive to run on. nothing. their president and policies, the radical green new deal agenda are all massive failures. democrats are employing what is a desperate multipronged political strategy for the upcoming election. january 6th as part of it. but first, they are planning to
6:03 pm
scare the voters with a heavy dose of hysteria surrounding abortion. if roe v. wade is ultimately overturned by the supreme court we have every indication that will happen. democrats will go out and campaign that a woman's right t choose has been abolished in america. abortions are illegal and republicans are to blame. they will vote coat hangers and bowel valve back alley abortions . they will claim that america as we now know it is over. none of that will be true. abortion is not an enumerated right in our constitution. but if roe v. wade is overturne as it appears it may be it will be regulated by individual states per the tenth amendment to the constitution. in other words, almost all u.s. state's will continue to allow abortion with very liberal states like california, et cetera, likely allowing abortio up until the moment of birth which we would call on this program infanticide.
6:04 pm
the second problem of the democratic democratic election strategy for the midterms surrounds guns and the second amendment. as we speak democrats are vilifying law-abiding gun owners . they are after gun manufacturer and the nra. they are bowing to restrict you second amendment rights. this too is a strategy that i predict will fail. don't forget according to the cdc there are up to 2.5 million defensive gun uses each year. in other words, they save lives. for example, over the weekend a west virginia woman heroically shot and killed a gunman who is firing into a graduation party at an apartment complex and she is now being credited with saving perhaps 20 or 30 lives. but of course the media mob and the democrats will not talk about or report that incident. if democrats get their way, onl the criminals who don't care about laws will have access to the fire arms and we will all b defenseless. ultimately the fear mongering surrounding guns is little more
6:05 pm
than a political ploy and we have nothing else to talk about in a midterm election year and all the policies have failed. i guess it's a hail mary for them. democrats cared about gun control and would call on the president's own sun hunter bide to be prosecuted. hunter reportedly lied on his background check about his rampant drug use in order to purchase a firearm. that would be a felony. hunter's gun was thrown away in an grocery store dumpster acros from a high school for reasons nobody seems to know. and now we have pictures that have surfaced today showing hunter waving around a semiautomatic handgun while naked according to the new york post. they are saying possibly with a. we cannot confirm that part. but just imagine if his last name was hunter trump what the reaction in the media and what the reaction from the democrats would be. the biden's want to lecture us on responsible gun ownership. does that look like a
6:06 pm
responsible gun ownership to you , joe? should your son go to jail or maybe i will say it in a way yo understand. for god sakes, joe, can't you d something about your own sun? this brings us to the third prong of the democratic selection strategy, which as yo can probably guess is january 6th, 2021,. they have this big hearing set for thursday. you will not hear the real stor of january sixth anywhere i don't think except here. and you definitely won't hear from house democrats or the two republicans that are democrats on the committee. remember, they kicked off jim jordan and jim banks. they would have asked questions like we have been asking and would have gotten to the truth. without a doubt, their conduct surrounding that fateful day is pure political theater. right on cue, this thursday night the sham january 6th committee will be holding their big primetime show hearing
6:07 pm
, a full on hollywood multimedia extravaganza with of course hollywood creative license to embellish, omit and as desired. they have even procured professional fake news production help from a former abc executive of good morning america and nightline. they have gone all out for this. it turns out this is the same executive that reportedly spike for the abc news report that would have exposed jeffrey epstein many years ago. more on that later in the program. this upcoming hearing on thursday aims to do one thing and that is excite the democratic base, vilified donal trump and all of his supporters yet again. in other words, it's like a third impeachment. just last week trump advisor peter navarro was thrown in handcuffs and leg shackles at a airport for refusing to participate in the sham hearing. he was allegedly thrown in the same jail cell use for reagan's assassin john hinckley. this after being charged with
6:08 pm
two misdemeanors processed crimes were not cooperating wit house democrats. navarro would have gladly, and this is the normal course of business for something not that serious, they would have called his lawyer and say turn yoursel in at this location at 8:00 a.m and he would have done it easil and posted bail as is customary with minor offenses such as the one he is being charged with. but he was never given that opportunity. instead, democrats use law enforcement as a political weapon to intimidate and embarrass navarro like they did with manneh fort and roger ston and george papadopoulos and so many others. there is no respect for our federal government or no aspect of it that democrats will not weaponize. this upcoming made-for-tv, full produced congressional hearing is no exception. this is where it gets interesting. despite all the hysteria, the truth is clear. if the committee had any real intention of getting to the
6:09 pm
truth and preventing this from happening again, which should b their goal. i can listen to this realtime o my radio show. we condemned it on this program that night like we condemned al the riots in the summer of 2020 that were not mostly peaceful. they would not be turning this into another wholesome impeachment. they had a predetermined outcom from the beginning knowing the dangers associated with large protest. it turns out that donald trump approved up to 20,000 national guard troops that would bolster the capital well in advance of the rally on january 6th. he did it on january 4th. my prediction is that they will lie by omission, the committee will, keep that critical fact out of the circus presentation that they are creating as we speak. the hollywood show that they will put on. they will not focus on once the president required by law signe off on up to 20,000 troops bein
6:10 pm
called up. that was his role. then the jurisdiction went to nancy pelosi who is in charge o security for the house along with the sergeant of arms and the dc mayor bowser who refused to call up the guard, again, that is they are call as required by law. donald trump did his part. if donald trump wanted this breach of the capital, why woul he have authorized up to 20,000 national guard troops? there are multiple documents an statements to back all of this up. the january 6th committee has all of this, but they won't be including it on thursday. that would include this letter from mayor bowser declining national guard support prior to january 6th. these documents from a recent inspector generals report that details how trump's department of defense plan for january 6th and they planned appropriately. they responded for calls were assistant appropriately and the did not delay or obstruct the response to the january 6th the
6:11 pm
riot. we also reached out to biden's defense secretary mark milley. he was in a high level role at the dod during january 6. has yet to provide us with a comment. they said they wouldn't get bac to us tonight. hopefully we can report tomorro what their answer is. don't forget on this program th dod, chief of staff, department of defense chief of staff along with the acting department of defense secretary chris miller will join us in a minute along with the white house chief of staff mark meadows and presiden trump himself. four of the five people in the room on january 4th. all of them have confirmed what we know to be true. that donald trump did request and as required by law approved and authorized up to 20,000 guard troops to be called up by pelosi and bowser should they need them and want them. he saw this as a potential dangerous situation.
6:12 pm
why wouldn't he after coming of the riots of the summer of 2020? take a look. >> did you authorize calling up the guard and then it became as the chain of command went to nancy pelosi and the mayor of dc , muriel bowser. did you, as required by law, authorize that? >> 100%. attested to by many people and they turned it down. nancy pelosi turned it down. >> mayor bowser's written refusal. the communication between the leader of the capitol police an their chain of command for the dod refusing our request to allow national guard men and women to stay on january 4th an fifth to be for the six. >> did you both ask for the national guard to be called up? >> without a doubt. we have made that very clear. not just once, but on numerous occasions. we wanted to make sure there wa plenty of national guard on the ready in case there was some
6:13 pm
kind of violence. >> i had a meeting with president trump on the 3rd of january concerning some international threats. at the very end he asked if there were any requests for national guard support. >> what was the president's response to you with regard to the request made by mayor bowser ? >> do whatever was necessary to protect the demonstrators. >> kash patel and the former acting defense secretary chris miller will join us in a second. none of what you just saw i predict will be played by the january 6th committee. they don't care about the truth. sadly, they are not looking for ways to better secure the capital and elect our leaders which we must do. they are smearing trump again and again and attempting to cement their power in dc. according to reports we have democrat jamie raskin who wants to use the committee to abolish
6:14 pm
the electoral college. major population centers, new. and california and new jersey and illinois. they can rule the country with an iron fist in perpetuity. if you are actually interested in the truth about january 6th and not just using it as a political weapon and you want t protect all elected officials, you are better off watching thi program. here is the reaction. the author of the plot to kill the king. number one best-selling children's book in the country, former chief of staff to the acting defense secretary kash patel is with us. along with former acting defens secretary christopher miller. my understanding is this. there were five of you in the room. president trump, mark meadows, both of you and general millie. is that correct mr. secretary? >> that is exactly correct, sean . if you don't mind, thanks for taking the time. i cannot help but think 78 year
6:15 pm
ago tonight if we were alive cash and i would have been on the front lines and you would have been there with edward r murrow and walter cronkite taking back europe from the nazis. this is our front line now. thanks for taking this on and being serious about it. there hasn't been enough seriou conversation. this is an exclusive. we have been separated to make sure there wasn't an appearance of collusion. thanks for taking this on. >> the four of you that i have had an rtunity to interview now confirmed that on january 4th in the oval office that you heard donald trump authorize up to 20,000 troops. kash patel, two days before january 6th even happened. tell us about that meeting. >> yeah, thanks again for havin us. especially on d day to talk about this serious matter. it's not a meeting that you forget. the secretary of defense chris
6:16 pm
miller and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, the president of the united states and the president of the united states himself in the oval office talking about one of the most serious threats we are facing. then we pivoted to setting up january 6th and mr. trump unequivocally authorized up to 20,000 national guard men and women for us to utilize should the second part of the requests come in. those requests never did as you highlighted. >> let me be clear. both of you said this under oat and threat of penalty and perjury? >> absolutely, sean. to be clear, kash patel brought it up best. the meeting was one of the serious heavy meetings i have been in. it was about before and threat to the united states, which obviously we cannot talk about for fear of ending up in jail. i kind i want to be clear. the president as we were leavin said one more thing.
6:17 pm
we all sat back down and discussed what was going on on january 6. i think that's important to bring up so that the opposition doesn't get this idea that the purpose of the meeting. the president was doing exactly what i expect the commander-in-chief to do. he was looking at the broad threats against the united states and he brought this up o his own. we did not bring it up. >> the only other person in the room was general millie. i have had a source tell me, an we have been reaching out to hi office. hopefully we will hear back. i don't thank he is avoiding us in any way. that general millie, i had somebody tell me that he signed a document that attests to the very thing that you and the defense secretary and mark meadows and the president have already confirmed. have you heard of such a memo o memorandum that exists that is in the hands of the january 6th committee?
6:18 pm
>> yeah, thanks. let me be clear. mark milley has testified under oath as the secretary miller an myself. we have always been consistent at the president authorize it. if mark milley had said anythin otherwise, the committee including adam schiff would hav leaked that information because it would advance their narrative . the memo you speak of, the national guard reports through the chain of command through th secretary of defense and secretary of the army. there is a delegation memo that christopher miller was smart enough to grab to save time so we wouldn't have to go through bureaucratic gymnastics should the request come in. that memorandum was executed by the office of the secretary of defense, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff and the national guard. i hope that memorandum is in th hands of the january 6th committee along with a slew of e-mail traffic between the offices i just mentioned outlining with particularity th request for the president of th united states for up to 20,000
6:19 pm
national guardsmen and the denial of that request from mayor bowser and other agencies. those are the documents that a congressional committee of oversight that cares about the truth, those are the documents that should be put forth in front of the american public. though i doubt it will be. >> i want the public to understand this, mr. secretary. once the president makes the authorization and once that is communicated to the speaker of the house nancy pelosi and mayo bowser, who wrote down and denied in writing that she even wanted the guard to be called up . it is not in the president's authority to call up the guard on his own. he can only as required by law authorize it. it is in their jurisdiction and total call. he has no say in that. is that correct? >> the president could mobilize the national guard but he made the decision to support the local law enforcement and
6:20 pm
political leaders. what you said is exactly right. typically the governors-i want to highlight we reiterated numerous times to all of the cabinet secretaries as well as the political leadership in washington, d.c. that we would provide and the president had authorized any national guard support or any military support. i want to be clear. it's not just the national guard . any military support they requested. we got one request from mayor bowser which we fulfilled in full. >> isn't this consistent with what the president did in the summer of 2020 and we had these local authorities butting heads? the president would authorize the use of the guard and they wouldn't call up the guard, but he left it in the hands of loca authorities in almost every instance? >> i wasn't there for that event . i can only speak about the 6th of january and the events leading up to it. i can say definitively presiden
6:21 pm
trump offered any and all support by suitable officials within washington, d.c., federal , and local. >> kash patel, let me ask you. we are told by the committee chairman that it was reported that nancy pelosi is off-limits. that means no testimony, no tex messages, no e-mails and nothin from the sergeant of arms and nothing from mayor bowser. is it not true that the mayor herself in writing declined the use of the guard that trump authorized? is that true all of that true? >> all of that is true. that's not how you run a congressional investigation. i know from my days of running an investigation. let's put this aside. let's put the memos and delegations and authorizations aside and look at it this way. had the president not authorize 20,000 national guards men and women that we did employ and deploy and mobilize 16,000 national guardsmen and women
6:22 pm
that would have been an unlawfu command from the secretary of defense, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, to chairman of the army and the national guard. do you think we executed an unlawful command? that question is posed to the committee. of course not. they want it both ways because they want the political narrative to defeat the facts that it's just not true. we acted appropriately like the report stated and president trump had the foresight to issu the authorization for the national guards men and women. those are the facts that the congressional team is alluding. >> let me ask you both. mr. secretary, i will start wit you. to me it is common sense. if those troops that the president authorized were calle up, up to 20,000 of them, isn't it pretty easy to conclude that january 6th as it unfolded woul not have happened? that 10,000 or 20,000 troops
6:23 pm
would have stopped any breach o the capitol? the fact that this is totally and completely being ignored by the committee, to me speaks volumes. what are your thoughts? would that have stopped what happened that day? i believe it would have. >> my firm belief is that if we would have sent even one national guard troop up to capitol hill before the onset o the riot we would have been accused, president trump and i and the military and kash patel would have been accused of implementing a coup against the elected officials on capitol hill. i think it's important to recognize that the united state military, there were 10,000 police officers on duty that day . all of our briefings and all of our coordination of them, they said we can handle, here's the headline for you, they said the can handle up to 1 million demonstrators. they said we got this. we got this. we were very comfortable with
6:24 pm
the request based on their threat assessment of what they could handle. >> i have less than a minute. i doubt they will focus on the president's words that many of you will peacefully and marched to the capitol. your voices will be heard. we will give you the last word, kash patel. this will be a hollywood production with hollywood creative license to ignore what is clearly the most relevant facts in the case. donald trump authorizing this days earlier. what does it tell you about the committee and the show that the will put on for the american people missing pertinent information? we have about 30 seconds. >> what they are doing is politicizing the national security of our country and forcing individuals like me who served 16 years to spend legal fees that should never occur. they are attacking people width of political subpoenas and then crying about them when the justice department doesn't get it. they should release every singl
6:25 pm
document they have in their holding. chris and i have seen them and we want them out. they should release every transcript, mine, secretary miller, everybody's transcript to show the american people tha we took an oath to abide by the constitution and took an oath t testify that day about january 6 . they can read it in black and white about how we acted appropriately and it's unequivocal. they don't want to put that on the front line. but i'm happy to come on your show and tell the world about i anytime you want. >> thank you kash patel. coming up, the biden administration continues to brush off high gas prices as they move on with the radical green agenda. we will explain. governor rick perry gives us an explanation straight ahead. was so bad i would be in a lot of pain. i was unable to eat. it was very hard. kimberly came to clearchoice with a bunch of missing teeth, struggling with pain, with dental disease. clearchoice dental implants solved her dental issues.
6:26 pm
6:29 pm
6:30 pm
the energy policy is fallin apart tonight because as gas prices hit one record after another, failed far left transportation secretary pete, but a judge says biden is to blame for this. it's the greedy oil companies. okay. we also know that the price of gasoline is not set by a dial i the oval office. when an oil company is deciding hour by hour how much to charge you for a gallon of gas they ar not calling the administration to ask what they should do. they are doing it based on thei goal of maximizing profits. this is striking now to see these oil companies who have become almost ridiculously profitable. >> despite these obvious and undeniable failures, the biden team is hell-bent on pursuing the green new deal fantasies of theirs which would destroy the economy and is destroying the economy almost instantaneously. for example, biden is involving the defense production act.
6:31 pm
not to lower gas prices, but to ramp up clean energy production. here with reaction his former energy secretary governor rick perry. peat buddha judge said by electric cars. then he claims get used too hig gas prices until we are energy independent only with clean energy. now he is out there blaming oil companies and blaming everybody but themselves. you were the energy secretary. did the policy shift from biden from trump to biden and because the problems we are having at the pump now? >> the simple answer is yes. the question i have for the transportation secretary is wha is the emergency in the renewable industry that you would put the dpa to work? this is a section of our power industry that produces at max about 20%. the idea that they will use the
6:32 pm
dpa and the solar and wind back side of things is beyond me. if you really wanted to make a difference, what you would have done is sent the message early on in this administration. listen, we are going to be a partner with the energy industry . what they did it sent a clear message that we don't like the fossil fuel industry. we don't like the nuclear industry. actually, when you look at it the wind and solar people out there got their own challenges as well with the knot in my backyard mentality that you see in a lot of places when you start putting in big wind farms are putting in big solar facilities. the local communities stop them. if you don't support fossil fuels and if you don't support nuclear energy, you are going t be in a fools errand to try to fuel this country and certainly the world. they are getting it wrong in so many different ways.
6:33 pm
it is stunning. >> secretary, you know about energy and you know about politics. democrats think that they can mitigate their losses in november by talking about abortion, about guns, about january 6th. then use the usual playbook republicans are racist, sexist and homophobic. but every single day, every american, it smacks them in the face when they fill up their ga tank. every item they buy in every store they go to is costing a fortune more because of these bad policies. what is going to win the day in november? >> yeah. i lost your connection for a little bit, but i caught the en of it. i was at a recycling plant last friday and talking to a fellow who is working probably 12 or 1 hours a day to make ends meet. he basically recognized me and
6:34 pm
came up and said look, governor i am having to make decisions about whether i will fill up my truck halfway or we will eat tonight. that is happening all across th country. the biden administration and th democrats are going to pay a massive price this november regardless of what the secretar of transportation says. the american people are not buying that. they know this isn't prudent's price increase. they know that when joe biden says i'm going to do everything i can to change the fossil fuel industry in america that he meant it. the american people may not hav recognized what that meant. what he means is the price of their groceries is going to go up. inflation is going through the roof. the cost of gasoline will continue to go up through the summer and the driving period. transportation costs. it will be a brutal year. i don't know when the end his
6:35 pm
insight is the problem. a recession is around the corner . america is in trouble. this administration is the reason for it and the american people know it. it will be a massive blowout fo the democrats in november. >> we need the adults back in charge. this is hurting the poor, the middle class and people on fixe incomes. it is hurting tens and hundreds of millions of americans. it's insane. thank you for being with us. when we come back, the democrat continue enacting the crime agenda despite another weekend of nationwide violence. how is the defund, dismantle policies working out? larry elder when we return.
6:40 pm
we have a lot more shocking crime in democratic run cities and states. back in august, the 2021 authorities say a 16-year-old committed this heinous hit and run, plowing over a mother and her young son only to get a sla on the wrist from the la da george gascon. the team is receiving just five to seven months in a juvenile facility despite being on probation and despite a previou criminal record including a 201 conviction for felony poisoning for spiking the drink of a female student. george gascon tried to blame th sheriffs office claiming they were on board with the sentencing, but the sheriffs office pushed back prompting th da to issue a correction. it's not only california. over the weekend several people were killed in a mass shooting on a south street in philadelphia. take a look at your screen. look at this. footage showing chaos all acros the philly streets as gunfire i
6:41 pm
ringing out. and yet more senseless violence in all major cities. by the way, most of the toughes gun laws. the philly da is trying to clai that the nra is to blame. here is larry elder with reaction along with the president of the national falle officer foundation tray pending. welcome to the show along with larry. we will start with you. it's amazing they want to blame an inanimate object. it's amazing that the greater percentage of killings and shootings are taking place in cities and states that have the toughest gun laws. why do you think that is? >> sean, where do you start? this is one reason why i set up my political action committee t get rid of these soft on crime da's. the number one job of governmen is to protect people and property. it's not to push critical race theory. it's not to attack parents for being concerned about the quality of their education. it's to make sure we do
6:42 pm
something about crime. the good news is tomorrow the san francisco da will very likely be recalled. right now there's a movement to gather enough signatures to recall george gascon, the da of los angeles county. in la where i am living right now homicides are up year-to-year 40%. shootings are up almost 40%. it's now coming to the suburbs. there is an area called hancock park where maxine waters has he $5 million mansion. he should not have been out on the streets. in beverly hills a guy broke into a home owned by an 80 -year-old retired record mogul and murdered his 80-year-old wife. a long criminal record and neve should have been in the streets. these soft on crime das believe that bad guys basically are victims of society as opposed t victimizing society. they have to go. >> i am looking at this video and this is happening almost every day in every city.
6:43 pm
in this particular case it's a guy using a car that can kill people. we saw what happened at the boston marathon. people think criminals are goin to obey the gun laws that we pass? by their very nature they don't obey laws, do they? >> they don't. i think the democrat leadership has failed the american people. look at how they let the offenders constantly remain on the streets after committing violent crimes. it's almost like they don't realize the gateway crimes they are doing. this guy is 17 years old. by all accounts he was an adult. he should have been prosecuted as an adult especially being able to run over this family like this. thank god nobody was killed. the bottom line is all it does if he gets a slap on the wrist, all it does is create an opportunity for him to come bac and do the same behavior over and over again. there is no accountability. we don't have a problem. you hear people talking about
6:44 pm
guns are the issue and mental health is the issue. those are not the issues. the issue is accountability in this country. we don't have accountability an the leadership is getting peopl off the road. >> and almost every city and every state that went along wit defund, dismantle and no bail laws. we see crime going through the roof. you mentioned la. it is nationwide. there is a direct correlation between the policies and the increase in violence and murder and shootings, et cetera. why is that so hard to put together? >> absolutely. this whole narrative that the police are engaged in systemic racism win they kill more unarmed to whites than unarmed black. in study after study it is show that police are more hesitant and reluctant to pull the trigger on a black suspect anna white suspect. this has led to the path of policing where they are pulling back. when you reduce the chance of a
6:45 pm
bad guy being caught and being convicted or incarcerated, crim goes up. they may be criminals, but they are not stupid. >> we showed this earlier in th program. hunter biden naked. we are told and i read one report they said it's a. we cannot confirm that. he was with the woman and had his gun out. i am listening to joe biden lecture the country about guns and i'm thinking for gods sake, joe, to use his words, why don' you get your son to handle a firearm a little bit more safely . maybe you shouldn't put the firearm in a dumpster near a school. how come he is not in jail? >> absolutely. the gun issue is a political football. all they want to use the gun issue to ride it threw the election. let me give you some facts abou guns. last year there were 693 mass shootings. we had 20220 right now in america. americans claim to be the champion of the american people.
6:46 pm
the issues are happening in the inner-city. black and minority people are being killed. if the democrats want to do something about the people they can do something about the gang and let the violent offenders out on the streets. >> by the way, we have the big theater on thursday night about january 6th. what about the 574 riots in the summer of 2020? i would like to see that committee come up one day. but i won't hold my breath. larry and trey, thank you. when we come back, kevin mc carthy calling out the january 6 committee for their obvious political stunt. we will get reaction. they will re-weigh in as we continue.
6:51 pm
kevin mccarthy is calling out the january 6 committee wit a shameless political stunt. they are hiring now a former ab news producer to orchestrate this political theater. mccarthy tweeted that the democrats have turned to the former abc news exec under whos leadership abc news spiked a story on jeffrey epstein to choreograph their january 6 political theater. here are reactions. laura, the same story would hav exposed epstein years ago. i find it
6:54 pm
or part sapship. but better way to prove that than to hire a game who literally hasn't played to produce partisan political theater spanning decades at abc. this is a guy who made sure that jeffrey epstein bombshell that abc first had never saw the light of day. think of all the victims that could have been spared if james goldstein had decided to go ahead with that story, but he had to protect epstein for whatever reason and that's the democrats and cheney are
6:55 pm
hitching their wagons to. they're actually political activists and the american people know that these hearings are nothing more than weaponized political ads aimed at hurting the opposition parties. all the news networks went wall-to-wall-to-wall celebrating that anniversary. they pushed the hyperbole button up from 24 from a scale of one to ten. and the rating were lackluster. they were barely a bump bus most of the american people have bigger things to be concerned about. the fact, sean, i think this is going to be a boomer rang effect on the democrat party and the republicans that are involved in this particular hearing. >> i think we'll see right through it. laura is right, all the problems will rule the day. thank you.
