in a letter to colleagues, speaker of the house nancy pelosi gushed over what was happening saying we've been moved by how many have channeled their righteous anger into meaningful action. they even got support from the white house. >> these activists posted a map with the home addresses of the supreme court justices. is that the kind of thing the president wants to help your site make their point? >> i think the president's view is that there's a lot of passion. >> laura: deputy white house press secretary andrew bates tried to kind of clean that up earlier today, tweeting "jen psaki never encouraged people to protest outside justice's homes" providing a transcript in which he highlights her saying protests have been peaceful to date. but he didn't include the whole part. >> so i know that there's an outrage right now, i guess, about protests that have been peaceful to date and we certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges homes. >> laura: when the angle

recognizes reckless behavior would not cease, we called for the decision to be released immediately by the supreme court. because we knew that every moment it was delayed justices lives would be in danger. if our concerns weren't just ignored, they were mocked. >> we've seen the right outrage over peaceful protest outside of justice is homes buried >> republicans were attempting to deflect and distract by moaning about people protesting outside the homes of supreme court justices. >> these events have been no more raucous than an elementary school recess, but that's not with you've been hearing from some republicans. >> laura: really? is that what your response would be if that were your home? little did we know that mere hours after we delivered an angle last night, diagnosing the real terrorists, we would sadly be proven correct. at 1:45:00 a.m., lon freshman arrested nicholas john ross, 26 years of age, of simi valley,

california. he was carrying a handgun, knife, pepper spray, he admitted to the office on the scene that he found kavanaugh's address on mine and that he wanted to kill the justice. what was the reason? he told authorities he did like the justice's views on abortion and gun control. but i do wonder, how could he have gotten whipped up into such a frenzy you make >> i want to tell you, i want to tell you, kavanaugh, you have released a whirlwind, and you will pay the price. [cheers and applause] you will know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions. >> laura: released a whirlwind. that was back in 2020, but you get the point. the january 6th committee and its media boosters have spent thousands of hours worrying about right-wing thomistic terrorists. yet since the scotus leak, there have been over a dozen tax on

crisis dignity centers and now an alleged assassination attempt on a supreme court justice. the real terrorists haven't just been exposed. they are now at the door, literally in justice kavanaugh's case. if response of the democrats, if there are any left, they don't stand up and condemn this in the strongest of terms, they will reveal themselves as not just the party of the mob, but as the party endorsing the mob. joining me now is arkansas senator tom cotton. senator, you called out attorney general merrick garland for his inaction on this issue of providing real security to the justices. so what should happen here? >> laura, there's a lot that should happen. first off, chuck schumer should go out and apologize for encouraging democratic street militias to target the homes of supreme court justices. now he's inspired democratic hit man to fly all the way across

the country to try to kill one of these justices. second, merrick garland needs to explain what he still refuses to enforce federal law. it is especially violation of of federal law to protest in front of the home of a judge or a juror. that happened at numerous justices' homes over the last several weeks yet merrick garland still is not pursuing charges against any of them. and third, the house of representatives needs to pass, right now, this week, the legislation unanimously authorizing security for not just the justices, but their families. just imagine what might've happened if mrs. kavanaugh and her children had been home without justice kavanaugh present and therefore a police presence. the only thing that a parent we deterred this democratic hit man is the presence of those police officers out front. the democrats need to act now to ensure that whatever supreme court justices are not killed. and finally come as you said, as

about charlottesville about his suppose it's both sides reference. how dangerous is that equivocation and moral equivalency, i should say, on this issue? >> if the exact cited danger posed when chuck schumer went across the street to the supreme court just blocks from where i stand right now and threaten brett kavanaugh by name, said that he would pay the price, and that he wouldn't know what hit him if he went forward with decisions that chuck schumer and liberal democrats didn't like. and i have a democratic hit man showing up at brett kavanaugh's home. or that the white house spokesperson last month said that they encourage these democratic street militias to go protest at justice's homes. it is high past time for joe biden and merrick garland to get off their duff and take action to protect our justices. >> laura: thank you, senator, it's great to see you tonight. two years ago, we tried to warn you that this chaos that was unleased post george floyd, when it was tolerated, even

encouraged by the democrats, that it was setting a precedent for more justified criminality down the road. and three years ago, we warned america that george soros was pouring money into local dealer races. backing rabid leftist prosecutors and in many q tomei, winning. the goal was the radical transformation from a criminal justice system of course on the phone to grounds that it's inherently racist and corrupt. so they ditch cash bail in many instances, reduce felonies like stealing to just misdemeanors and in some cases, like with the race hoax, they just dropped all charges. of course we see the results with our own eyes. rampant crime, a drugged and dazed homeless population, and once beautiful cities have become unlivable nightmares for working people, for immigrants, and for hardworking families. so seattle, portland, l.a., chicago, baltimore, they are all sliding downhill.

1976. >> laura: nice try. of course we never bought any of us, we certainly didn't buy into the defeatist mind-set on the g.o.p. part. after all, we know that liberal policies, once they're really embraced and enacted, the end of producing only resentment and a lower standard of living, more crime and of course misery for everybody except maybe a few plutocrats. last year when the angle reported from san francisco, we sense the people there had just gotten fed up with the crime, the filth, and yes, the homelessness. >> i have a friend was mobbed on the corner at 2:00 p.m. on a tuesday, broad daylight. it feels lawless, people don't feel safe in the city, it's a reality. if not immediately. >> violent crimes are up because of chesa boudin's policies, catch and release, i said he's got the swiftest revolving door in the criminal justice system. >> laura: even tolerant san franciscans couldn't take it any longer. the d.a. is out another city has

a chance to start making better choices. i mean, what did they think though when they elected the child of the weather underground two oh? what were they thinking in san francisco? it's worth noting where the votes of the recall for him came from. the only area where he did well wear white rich liberal enclaves, the type of progressives who live there who just look on the average working person and who basically they believe that they are suffering -- their suffering is justified for the greater good. but working class people, areas with high concentrations of hispanics and asians, they turned out in droves for the recall of the d.a. turns out they won't be fooled again. they want, and they deserve a better life. no amount of bad mouthing america as a rotten, racist, misogynist, or colonial power is going to make the liberals' horrible policies go down any better for the working class of this country. think about it this way.

immigrants came here because they love what america offered. freedom, a fair shot at a prosperous life, schools that teach, the ability to worship in peace, safety. but with democrats, all they get is racial resentment, victim allergy, high taxes, high prices, open borders, and out-of-control crime. i don't have any great illusion that democrats will see san francisco as a wake-up call, i really don't, because i don't think they will. they will keep putting stock in another waste of time and money -- i'm talking with the january 6th hearing to try to deliver them from their electoral disaster coming up. they will get to talk about coronavirus variants, keep pushing deviancy on our children. the keep throwing in with the cannabis industry so the kids will grow up to be numb and dumb. and i think they're just going to keep on believing that abortion is a holy sacrament, protect it at all costs. they will keep our southern border wide open, absolutely, and of course they're going to

keep rewarding china and punishing u.s. manufacturers. still, democrats are worried, so worried that george soros is back at it, this time buying up spanish-language radio station in an attempt to shut down the conservative wave among latinos. why are billionaires, the conservative billionaires, don't think strategically like this is anyone's guess, but any event, i think hispanic voters are going to see right through this. $6 gas is $6 gas. so saying bad things about trump or the g.o.p. in spanish, that's not going to make the pain at the pump feel any better. so this is the opening republicans have been waiting for. it's time for a 50 state republican strategy for victory, and that means this fall states like michigan, where governor gretchen whitmer should face serious challenge from someone like the up-and-coming tutor dixon. and even the deep blue washington state where senator patty murray is feeling the heat from tiffany smiley,

was -- in the old days it was more conservative. then it went purple and now it looks like it's going back to more of a red state with governor youngkin's approval soaring there while biden's is tumbling. so what are the voters seeing? >> listen, what you had is you had two years of one-party democratic role in virginia that led to criminal first, victim last mind-set in the same public safety issues that emerged in california last night where californians got mugged by reality and recalled d.a. in san francisco, virginians saw skyrocketing murder rate, officers leaving the force, you had this mind-set that the criminals were the victims and the reality is you have too many communities in virginia where they realize listen, the law-abiding right now that are looking over their shoulder in fear when the people that should be looking over their shoulder in fear should be the lawbreaking, so we brought in this mind-set of listen, we're going to stand with the police, we are going to go after the

criminals, i was a prosecutor in virginia beach, emit public safety a big issue of mine, campaign for attorney general, so focusing on the police, giving them the resources and the tools to do their jobs, but what you had in northern virginia in particular is particularly in a lot of working-class communities, they saw crime increasing. >> laura: disaster. >> disaster, so they wanted 72 stay with police. if the first thing we've done. without our own far left special interest criminal-first prosecutors elected in northern virginia and it's causing a lot of people to look -- take a second look at the republican party here. we are not a red or blue state in virginia, we are a common sense data, standing with police is common sense and we are proud to do that. >> laura: earlier today, mr. attorney general, president biden came out and addressed what happened at last night's election. >> president biden: i think the voters sent a clear message last night, both parties have to step up and do something about crime as well as gun violence.

it's time the states and localities spend the money they have to deal with crime as well as retrain police officers. as well as provide for more community policing. it's time to get on with doing that. >> laura: community policing, retraining police. what message does that send to the people suffering in places like baltimore, chicago, st. louis, and beyond? >> right. they say the only thing you learn from history as no one learns from history. the reality, all of the so-called criminal justice reforms, which you can't have criminal justice reform without criminal justice, these were all tried in the 1970s, cashless bail, early release of violent offenders, prosecuting entire categories of crime. we tried this experiment, it led to a crime explosion, and so we just forgot the good lessons of history. a great quote that says if you come up to a fence in the middle of the field, perhaps you should ask why it's there before you knock it down. they knocked down a lot of good, common sense reforms in the past

that got criminals off our street and they forgot all the lessons learned that we are dealing with the stretcher consequent us. >> laura: one of the final question. i'm sure you've seen this, and he referenced it briefly but soros buying up all these hispanic-themed radio stations, they obviously see that this is a problem for them. biden has about a 26% approval among hispanic voters in this country right now. what should be happening on the other side? i mean, conservative billionaires should be buying up radio stations, no? >> i mean, listen, at the end of the day, the democratic party is very concerned because the majority of latino voters, over 50% right now identify with the g.o.p. in a variety of different callings because we have a party of opportunity. we are telling you listen, this is an amazing country, we want to make sure if your small business on tripper north you absolutely have those regulatory burdens out of the way. we believe in standing with police, we believe in keeping safe communities. we are the ones talking with the issues they care about and that's why you're seeing both

homeland -- hardening the homeland against domestic violence extremism? >> you're absolutely right. the threat is domestic, we should be treating it like an international terrorism. >> laura: now, call me off-base here, but i probably think it's a bad idea to help the left pass red flag laws when that's what they think of you. if you're just all a bunch of the mystic terrorists, none of you should have a weapon. joining me now to discuss is congresswoman lauren boebert and congressman greg steube. congresswoman, let's start with you. are republicans really going to fall for this? >> i sure hope not, laura. it's pretty simple for me. i will not vote to disarm law-abiding citizens. i will not vote to make law-abiding citizens criminals. that's exactly what democrats want to do. and the left has called these eight pieces of gun grabbing legislation common sense but there's nothing common sense about removing constitutional rights. is nothing about these red flag laws, about banning gun accessories, or magazines limitations or age limits.

have fairly broad support is raising the age of -- to be able to purchase a gun of an ar according to quinnipiac, 74% polled said they support raising the age to buy any gun in his case to 21. among republicans, 59% would support it. so, congressman, is this something the republican caucus could be open to given where the public they claim is? >> so for me, that would be a no. i'm a college student we have that would be left vulnerable and unable to defend themselves? even in colorado there are areas were 18 to 20-year-olds cannot open carry because they do not have concealed carry weapons permits, and so those citizens are left disarmed. so i think that there are other ways to go about this, but restricting the age it's definitely a "no" from me. and a level at the congressman was talking about there with due process. look at what's happening at the southern border right now.

we are letting some 3 million illegal aliens into our country right now saying they deserve to process. but now democrats want to bring to the floor red flag gun laws to restrict americans from being able to have a firearm and it completely bypasses american citizens' due process and so much more. but if democrats really want to create a safer society, be they should crackdown on folks, say, who drive drunk, and they could start with paul pelosi and leave law-abiding citizens alone. >> laura: congressman, look, they believe they have the wind at their back and i think here because of the horrific tragedy in uvalde, and our hearts all break for those families. it's unconscionable. do you think if democrats hadn't said things like well, we want to band -- repeal the second to mammon, michael moore and those types, if they hadn't shown such bad faith on the gun issue, would you be open to raising the

ar aged 21? the arguments, look, you can't drink until you're 21, why should you be able to buy an ar? i don't buy the argument but that's what it is. >> i voted against that piece of legislation in florida when i was in the state legislature and my staff pulled the numbers. 99.7% of americans between the age of 18 and 20 are law-abiding. only .3% of that age demographic commit violent crime. why are we going to punish law-abiding citizens and americans and take away their constitutional right to protect themselves? because .3% of that population commits violent crimes? i won't stand for it, i don't think the american people should stand for it and i support freedom. >> laura: we will see where this goes, thank you so much. biden's big international flop, kamala's latest word salad, raymond arroyo has it, "seen and unseen" his next.

♪ ♪ >> laura: a month ago we brought you the story of scott smith, the father of a teenage girl who was sexually assaulted in a loudoun county school bathroom. that assault was covered up by the district and the accused student went on to assault another student at another school. he was convicted of both, but received just a slap on the wrist. so you would think after all of that that loudoun county would learn something, but no, of course they didn't. now two teachers say they were fired from the district for similar reasons.

fox breaking news correspondent trace gallagher is here with all the details. trace. >> good evening. laurie vendor meal is a teaching assistant in loudoun county school district, she claims the beginning of last semester student touched her, groped her, and forced his hands onto her private parts up to 80 times in one day. she and the lead teacher who also says she was assaulted had multiple meetings with school admin strainers, and the teachers say the school told them to hold cardboard over their private parts and wear an apron. she declined and instead called hr, but hr, they say, refused to help single women didn't file a formal complaint. she then asked her friend to bring it up at a school board meeting, which he did, and spend, she and aaron brooks say the school has retaliated. then two weeks ago, both teachers testified before a special grand jury investigating the handling of a different sexual assault case in loudoun county schools.

that's when she says she and brooks were told their contracts would not be renewed, and they could no longer teach in the district. here she is going public at last night's school board meeting. watch. >> i am a sexual assault victim and for speaking out i am now being victimized again. my termination is nothing short of retaliation. people are being intimidated into silence and it's happening onto your watch. >> she also claims before her grand jury testimony she got great feedback on her job performance and after she was fired her principal told her, quoting here "it didn't have to be like this, but you made choices." the superintendent has now responded, quoting again. "i'm county public schools has neither retaliated against any employee for raising concerns about sexual harassment or taken any adverse action against anyone for testifying before special graduate." any claim to the contrary is simply untrue. the school district won't say

more because they claim student privacy issues. laura. >> laura: trace, thank you. joining the exclusively is one of those teachers, lori. given all that's happened in loudoun county, why do they still seem to be engaged in these brazen coverups? >> yeah, i really couldn't tell you that. it makes no sense to me. >> laura: i mean, they have such a reputation nationwide, and i know loudoun county really well. i don't live too far. amazing educators there, incredible opportunities for learning and expanding your horizons there. but now, this is what they've become to be known as nationwide. covering up sexual assaults, whether it's by someone who was in elementary age kid or a teenage kid against a teenage girl. >> exactly. yeah, it's really -- we really can't make sense of it. >> laura: what do you want loudoun county to do?

what did you want them to do? >> well, we wanted assistance in our classroom with the behavior. we wanted mandated reporting to happen. we want -- you know, we want our jobs, we want to be there, we want to be with the kids, and, you know, we continue to try to escalate things to get that help and we lost our jobs. >> laura: how many times did these -- this groping occur over the course of the period of time in reference? >> multiple times a day, 70, 80 times. sometimes more. there was a meeting with our administration with the team to come up with some solutions. we were given a small piece of cardboard to hold in front of us. we were offered an apron.

and those were the types of solutions that we were offered. >> laura: did you ever in a million years think that when you went into teaching, especially something that is so fulfilling as special ed teaching, that you'd be fighting for your job after being assaulted? again, even by a younger student, but assaulted repeatedly and then you're on track to lose your job. >> yeah, exactly. now, i never could have imagined it would be like this. all we were trying to do is to help a student that we felt was in need. and for whatever reason, they didn't want to -- they didn't want to do that. i didn't want to help us with that. >> laura: what message do you think this sends to other, you know, aspiring teachers in the area who are really seriously thinking about going into education? >> yeah, i think it sends a message that you don't speak up because your job will be on the chopping block.
