tv The Ingraham Angle FOX News June 10, 2022 12:00am-1:00am PDT
12:00 am
they underdelivered and they missed the big story, which i the incredible failure in terms of security that you were begging to give give to them and they didn't take wheno they had the opportunity to. thank you , john .t' thank you . that'se all the time we havess left. thank you for making this show possible. let not n your heart troubles. news continues. laura's next and the englishman will have a great night. >> i'm laura ingram . this is ingram angle from new york city. thanks for joining us . democrats and liberals, they've been slapping in prime time television for years. it's always the same, right? it's misleading information, vicious innuendo, attempts to connect the dots that never quite pay off the drumbeat, constant drumbeat of demonization and distraction. it's either entertaining or edifying. it's just bad programing. now tonight began with chair bennie thompson captivating
12:01 am
a small audience at the january six hearing on capitol hill with what ended up being a 12 minute snooze fest that was very heavy on rhetoric. >> the president of the united states trying to stop the transfer of power, a precedent that had stood for 220 years even as our democracy had faced its most difficult test. >> oh , i get it. so now bennie thompson cares about the transfer of power and making sure it works okay. remember, he's the same benneton who voted against certifying george w. bush's election win. and by the way, i'm not even talking about the 2000 recount . we're talking about 2004 and the blowhard of the evening award goes to liz cheney. now if you saw her interview
12:02 am
were rough to watch a little soporific when it was off the cuff. try watching her for 34 uninterrupted minutes of screen reading our oath to defend the united states constitution and that must mean something. tonight i say this to my republican colleagues who are defending me indefensible. there will come a day when donald trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain in the end. this was nearly two hours of an unsuccessful lobaugh attempt to connect the dots back to trump . so trump took a coup that never happened. now we know why the press has been publicly fretting after watching, it's worried that americans wouldn't tune in to this january six extravaganza because you've got a largely distracted audience. you've got people concerned
12:03 am
with everyday issues. will the american public be tuned in crazy about health care, about to find a way to make this horrific on our democracy interesting and important to many american ? >> but that's where we are. people aren't tuning in to watch what democrats will be extremely persuasive argument. is that going to change their minds? and let's keep democrats always flock in primetime against just a given. >> remember this that americans not caring about democracy. it's that americans don't believe that democracy was truly, really at risk on january six there was no possibility that anything that happened at that riot which we spoke against vociferously that night and i didn't tweet that day that riot on capitol hill one of undermine the results of the election. there wasn't a single serious person in dc who believe that biden wasn't going to be sworn in as president on january 20th after that insurrection that wasn't everyone knows what a coup is. guns standoff, maybe hostages
12:04 am
taken by hostile forces grabbing the reins of power. it goes on for a little bit more than two hours, doesn't it? well, none of that happened here . violence? yes. criminality. yes, you bet. >> but a coup. an insurrection that's as believable as biden's new line that this economy is the strongest ever since world war two. now buffalo guy with a horn and all of his friends, they break into the capital and we're supposed to believe what then trump would suddenly be sworn in as president. now with watergate, you think about watergate. nixon ordered a break in at the dnc. then nixon used that information to try to get elected. you could make sense that narrative, but this narrative, the one that cheney is so locked on to reading that screen was that these people's ragtag group of people were threatening the entire foundation of our representative democracy. >> that's ludicrous. the fact is their people commit violence and riot all
12:05 am
the time here . the democrats needed to try to differentiate their own protests from what happened on january six . so they needed to say doing this meant democracy was on the line. how does a putting his feet up on nancy pelosi's wdef foot democracy at risk. the final electoral votes were certified that night as they should have been. meanwhile, there freak's actually want to kill a supreme court justice. they shot steve scalise and they're trying to intimidate justices right now today protest at their homes trying to frighten their children either even which is illegal. and instead of using a late night appearance to condemn all of these acts, the president only fan the flames overall. they fear that if in fact the decision comes down the way it does and these states impose the limitations they're talking about is going to cause a mini
12:06 am
revolution. >> they're going to vote lot of these folks out of office is the guy worried about ending democracy or threats to democracy and he's warning about a revolution. what does that message to the court watch out. >> a revolution is coming if you vote the wrong way. he's the president, but he didn't stop there. >> i understand their argument. but also it's like you're playing monopoly with somebody who won't pascoal won't follow any of the rules and how do you ever make any progress if they're not following the rules of the jail? you know, that's funny for a man again, professes to be so concerned about the pillars of democracy crumbling before our eyes, he has no hesitation whatsoever been laughing about it, stoking both a mini revolution and putting his political opponents in jail, threatening that . now last time i checked, those are kind of the acts or the wishes of the statements of
12:07 am
a dictator or even an insurrectionist. joining me now is texas congressman troy nails and florida congressman byron donalds. both were sworn into office just days before january six . congressman nail's you were famously photographed talking down a writer at the window of the house chamber. there you are in blue. you were face to face with them and you were originally appointed to the january 6th committee. so you watch tonight . what are your thoughts? well, liz almost put me to sleep and but we knew this was going to take place. i watched the first 30 , 40 minutes and i can't tell you how many times she used trump's name. she's not talking in this committee has no intent to talk about why the capitol police was so ill prepared to deal with that and they were. and the sad part about it is the intelligence was there and i've been saying for the past 17 months when you
12:08 am
look at the leadership team of the capitol police and the intelligence, it was glaring them in the face. we all knew that they were going that the capitol was the target. we all knew that there were white supremacists, malicious extremist groups going to be there. we knew that there was a propensity for violence. we knew they were going to be armed. all the information was there and these intelligence assessments and the leadership ,the capitol police did nothing with it. but you have to know that the leadership of the capitol police answers to nancy pelosi, speaker pelosi. she runs the security apparatus around our nation's capitol . they had all the intelligence. they didn't act upon it because in my humble opinion, through my research, they wanted it to happen. they didn't care if this happened. you saw some of the video of the oath keepers and the proud boys the capitol police knew weeks in advance that they
12:09 am
were going to be there that way. okay, we get it. we should have been there is my point. so so there was there was a lot conversations out there and some of them were dismissed by the left that the administration had offered the national guard to actually deploy before january six to protect the capital and that was declined. is that true or false? according to what you know, there's a lot of finger pointing with the capitol police board, which is the architect of the capitol, the house sergeant at arms and the senate sergeant at arms and they are the ones that would have to declare the emergency to get the national guard there. and what i know is through my research is the house sergeant at arms irving who's no longer there he was waiting to get approval from leadership, the approval from leadership as nancy pelosi. all right, congressman donald, you know, they aren't really just content to punish people who broke the law or political opponents even for
12:10 am
that matter for what they perceive to be sins of the past ,but ones they assure us are going to happen, going forward . >> watch work must do much more than just look backwards because of our democracy remains in danger. the conspiracy to promote the will of the people is not over what is happening, congressman. so if they lose in the midterms, is that part of their erosion of democracy that they're worried about? >> i believe so. listen, i watched the entire two hours of this mess and the reality is, is that all they're doing is trying to paint a new political narrative that voters need to think about in november because the democrat agenda has failed. we all know the reasons why. no need to recap but to throw this out there that somehow this danger to democracy that exists is ludicrous. people are voting right now all across the country. there are no issues americans are letting. their voices are being heard at the ballot box and many cities
12:11 am
and states across the country there are no issues. i don't know what they're talking about except to cover up for their disastrous agenda that has hurt every aspect of american life. well, and congressman nail's we kept hearing early on that a lot of the people who are arrested, you know, we're being kept in solitary confinement under pretty terrible conditions in many cases not able to talk to their family members are kept for months and months and months pending i guess trial. what do we know of that tonight? and i was told that these individuals here in the in the washington , d.c. gulag would rather be transferred to guantanamo bay because they treat the terrorists better. that's what we do know and it's interesting. i had a family from my district called me and said that her husband was arrested on tuesday. the fbi barricaded the entire street. there were fbi agents in the backyard, had a one year old and a three year old at
12:12 am
home here the fbi is coming in with their guns blazing the fbi needs to tone it down a little bit. this is getting ridiculous. what we're seeing and now this individual is being charged and he's being held. he's going to be now taken away from his family. he's been home for 18 months, 17 months and now they're arresting him and keeping him away from his family. we're going to do everything we can to try to help this family. all right, congressman, i want to play another moment from the chairman, bennie thompson. >> i'm from a part of the country where people justify the actions of slavery ,klu klux and lynching and reminded of that dark history as i hear voices today try and justify the actions of the insurrectionists on january six , 20 or 21 if equating january 6th and slavery, the kkk, even though some of these proud boys i believe were minorities themselves,
12:13 am
including the leadership. is this offensive? i mean, i know where he was going with that. it's just more gaslighting from bennie thompson and from the left. listen, everybody knows slavery was disastrous for the united states, but we're nobody's trying to equate that to january six . no one and no to every republican who was in the capitol building. we all did not agree with what happened on january six . we've all denounced the violence of january six . it is purely unacceptable. but the gaslighting from the democrats remain when they try to find some way to salvage the fact that they don't know actually how to run a country like the united states of america because their agenda is flawed. it's terrible. it doesn't help americans try to actually live their lives today and going forward. now, congressman, now before we go, i want to remind everyone of the carnage that was unleashed, the chaos that was unleashed by the left, often to no comment by democrats on capitol hill back in 2020 more than 2000 law enforcement officers were injured during the blm riots causing a record
12:14 am
setting two billion dollars in damages nationwide. congressman, did we ever have democrat led hearings on any of this ? absolutely not. and why? because it was until blm they're the ones that committed these riots in the summer 2020 destroying our buildings, killing people, killing lots of people, police officers, injuring just causing chaos around our entire country. but there was blm and it was antifa. so now they're going after some of these individual these groups that came up to washington, d.c. that felt an election was stolen and they voice their concerns and their opinions. yes, those that went into that capitol and assaulted law enforcement should go to jail. i'm a law man. you should go to jail because you shouldn't put your hands on any law enforcement, but you're not going to see the thousands of people that were up there and hundreds that were inside that building that were walking around doing absolutely nothing. and these individuals,
12:15 am
their lives are being ruined by by an fbi that is just doing horrible things to these people by a doj, a corrupt fbi. enough is enough. thank you , congressman. both of you. good to see you. tonight . and joining me now is harvey dillon, chairwoman of the republican national lawyers association and new york congressmen, attorney and gubernatorial candidate lee zeldin. i want to start with you. there's a trump tweet that the committee really latched on to that they believe is vital to just hanging this all on trump. now it starts with a washington examiner headline and then trump writes a great report by peter navarro. statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 election. big protests in d.c. on january six be there will be wild formate. we can all acknowledge and you and i have, you know, the criminal horror that took place on january six . you know, it was awful and hideous. but the point of this is to tie
12:16 am
a quote insurrection back to the president through this tweet. is this enough, laura ? this whole thing has been such nonsense and i'm a lawyer and i'm looking at a so-called show trial today and just shaking my head. they have in their entire spliced scenes of horrible things happening, people breaking into the capital with mundane and even banal matters like this really undermining their own case. but what undermines it the most, laura , is the fact that it's one sided. the other side is not being heard. there's nobody to cross-examine these witnesses there was nobody to cross-examine the witnesses and videotapes were being shown and this ultimately is something that liz cheney was wagging her finger at donald trump for forty five minutes there. she's the one who's going to have to live this down that she presided over a trial where only one side was heard and they had an impeachment. they had two impeachments. it failed and you know, americans are suffering. this is just a disgrace for the whole house and really
12:17 am
a waste of taxpayer resources that congressman weldon, i think about what's happening at the border. the cartels are running all those people through . we have horrific crime all through urban america, chicago, oakland, st. louis, baltimore, et cetera, et cetera. how much is this costing this kafkaesque show trial on capitol hill? it's costing all that focus the attention it should be on everything that you just discussed and you have people who are struggling to make ends meet. they are seeing in california ten dollar gas prices right now. they would love to see if you have a prime time house hearing. maybe i should be talking about the issues that matter most to those americans. this is it is a show trial. were you there on capitol hill on the sixth? i was. how many what you experienced? i was on the house floor at the time when we first received notice. we didn't know exactly what was going on . we were told to stay in our seats. we ended up getting evacuated. we were hearing banging on the doors of the house and actually we heard once we left shortly after we got out
12:18 am
the speaker's balcony, we heard shots fired capitol police going the opposite direction. that was the air force veteran who was killed. i was on with you that night and i remember a spot on that evening instinctively while you still collecting facts, you were not using terms that we're seeing still used today. >> they still haven't figured out what to call it. and you were sober in how this was. you said that night that this was undercutting the maximov this was undercutting the america first movement. this wasn't helping the cause. i believe that you have people there who are paranoid that they're going to lose power this november. they're hypocritical. as you point out, bennie thompson was one of the objectors. you have the desire to put on a show. adam schiff is there. they are pulled out of the impeachment trial. they collect evidence in a deposition that they can tell a story in front of the american public. but people are tuning into other stuff like your show tonight rather than having to put themselves.
12:19 am
just to me it seems like people are really, really worried about the future of the country . now, january six was an aberration, thankfully. hami, you mentioned liz cheney and of course she was reading another trump tweet tonight , but this one from january six , donald trump tweeted that he did not condemn the attack. instead he justified it. these are the things and events that happen. he said when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremonious and viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly and unfairly treated for so long but hard. right. here's the next sentence of that tweet which mr. left off go home with love and peace for me. so she spoke for thirty four agonizing minutes but she couldn't fit in those extra few words really. liz cheney is a liar. this is very dishonest from
12:20 am
beginning to end and it's just embarrassing. i mean, you know what we are talking about here that's happening this country is we look they've had their day. i think donald trump is not the president yet. he's still occupying so much real estate. that's all they've got. and this is pointing to how bankrupt the democrats are ,their real messaging about the future of this country. this is all they've got and it is kind of sad. you know, we've had hearings in the past over dark times in our country and both sides have presented their positions and then maybe people are persuaded. i don't think anyone is going to be persuaded by these hearings other than that our government in dc doesn't care about the people and what they really care about and that's really ultimately going to undercut confidence in our government, decrease turnout in our elections. >> this is not a good book. yeah, me say this is what it's about tonight . they know, congressman, they're going to get their clocks cleaned in november. they've driven this country into the ground. they let it burn in the summer of 2020 including right here right here in new york .
12:21 am
let it all be smashed. people having fun ripping everyone else hitting people on the head. they didn't care. now they care. they care because they think it's going to help in november and it's not going to help them. it's going to be a disaster for them. and this is all they got. they got this and racism and misogyny and colonialism or any of the other isms that you give americans a vote. they would rather there is a focus on the attack on their wallets, on their safety and their freedom, on the quality of education. our schools, they see people illegally crossing. they see fentanyl coming across our southern border and they're going to pay a price. people want a balance of power. one party rule isn't working. joe biden is clearly out to lunch. you know, he's getting moved around the white house grounds by the easter bunny people want to see competency. they want see common sense restored to government right now they're not getting it. so they're going to get their clocks cleaned. plus there's one other ingredient their broken. it's level three trump derangement syndrome. it's triggered unhinged and then broken. these people are in pieces up there. they're embarrassing themselves, but they feel good
12:22 am
to be able to get this out of their system. and meanwhile, it's that morning consult poll heartmate or two thirds of i think it was gop voters in its early they say they want trump to run in twenty twenty before. so none of this stuff that they're doing is working. and this is we as we condemn criminality against any public building police officer, the law enforcement officer. but for two thirds of the republicans want to run again. our mate congressman, great to see you both. and one of the stories you did not hear tonight is that of matthew purna. he can't be here to tell it. so we're going to the coroner's report said that he died of a suicide on february 25th. his it said that though he died of a broken heart, his community which he loved his country and the justice system killed his spirit and his zest for life at the time of his death. matthew was awaiting sentencing for being at the capitol on january six and december.
12:23 am
he pled guilty for obstructing congress. the doj said he entered the capital and stayed there for twenty minutes. while there he held acellular the device in his right hand and filmed and chanted with the crowd. there's nothing reported anywhere that he was violent or broke anything in a capital that he tried to hurt anyone or did hurt anyone. nothing like that . he went inside the capital and used his cell phone. that's why the doj went after him and now he's dead. joining me now is massie's on jerry purna. jerry, perhaps you saw some of the show trial on capitol hill tonight . your reaction frankly or i try not to watch it. it doesn't interest me in the slightest because i know none of it's going to be the truth. matthew is not here after committing suicide after of course, being charged and pleading guilty for being in the capital on january six .
12:24 am
what do you want the country to know about him tonight ? matthew was a gentle soul. he had never committed a crime prior to january six , never had so much as a parking ticket . he attended the rally and on january 6th thinking it was going to be a historic moment that mike pence was not going to certify the election and he was going to be part of an historical celebration that day. and so no intent of causing any problems or any violence because he didn't have a violent nature. he didn't have a violent bone in his body. he pled guilty because i guess he was in the building itself. what happened with his circle of friends and his now his job and what do you think about his future after that happened ? well, when he posted video talking about january six and what they experienced that day ,his facebook account was taken down shortly thereafter,
12:25 am
matt used social media to network his cbd oil sales and some other holistic type remedies that he marketed. so he lost his base. he lost his customer base with one cancelation of social media. he had over 7000 followers. so his income, of course, kind of came to a halt and the community in which he lives, the newspaper was brutal. they printed lies constantly with the same horrible picture of him on the front page every time and it began to wear on him and a month before his suicide, i guess it was the publication slate frankly had the audacity to claim that january six defendants were getting off easy and receiving lenient treatment . when we interviewed so many people who had had their basically their doors busted through by law
12:26 am
enforcement because they were just merely at the rally at the capitol. >> but did you think this was lenient? no, i don't think anybody's been treated lenient leniently . they've treated they've gone above and beyond to persecute these people. and you have how many sitting in jails right now are we going on ? eighteen months, some of them who have not been convicted of a crime. where have you ever heard this happening before, jerry? i want to thank you for telling the story that the committee will not tell and we're going to continue to pray for you and your family. well, i certainly appreciate that there there are people right now sitting in these jails and waiting in their home just like matt was. and if something is not done about this committee and matthew graves and merrick garland, there are going to
12:27 am
be more matthew pernice committing suicide and there are going to be devastated families like ours, we are not over this. our grief is so tremendous right now is a death of a wonderful human being and that's the word here . human beings, they're not being treated like human beings. well, this is political targeting of the most obvious sort and the double standard between away one group of people are treated and another group of people are treated well. those groups can get out of hand and obviously he was just standing and taking photos as far as we could tell in the capital . they did not commit any crimes other than walking in . and when the police are waving you in i am fifty eight years old . law. if i were standing in front of an open door and the police said to come on and i wouldn't think that was going to be a problem, i certainly wouldn't think i was going to get arrested for it. yeah, you know what if they didn't show that video tonight at least i missed it. if they show that tonight the waving is not going to
12:28 am
that's not going to be there. jerry, thank you . now these hearings serve two purposes. the democrats paint their political opponents as just a band of marauding domestic terrorists. and again, this is really important to try to distract you from biden's many failures both domestically and on the world stage. but look, we said this before. americans are actually pretty smart. they have a lot of common sense and to recent polls should serve as a stark reminder to this white house and the entire january 6th committee just how smart they are. morning consult has biden's approval now at 39% and his disapproval at 58%. the pollster noting that biden's numbers are worse than trump's at the height of covid and the george florida riots. put that in your pipe and smoke it now if you can believe that . well, a new quinnipiac poll was even worse. biden's approval rating there 35% among registered voters. even more devastating slip into the poll because biden's approval among african-americans has dropped
12:29 am
below 50%. that is catastrophic for democrats and among hispanics get ready. it's 24%. here now is newt gingrich, former house speaker, fox news contributor, author of the book defeating big government socialism, which we have to do this fall. newt, forget 1994 or 2010. what could we be in store for this midterm election if these numbers do not improve for joe biden? >> well, first of all, the house republicans are starting at a much higher base. there are 210 plus. they have five vacancies that are republicans. so if they gain 25 or 30 seats ,they'll be the biggest majority since the early 1920s. i think the election is going to be a blowout because in real everyday life this administration is extraordinarily painful for the american people and i think they're going to go in vote to
12:30 am
throw the bums out. the classic battle cry and i would not be shocked. i think some of the house republicans don't like me to say this , but i would not be shocked if they weren't somewhere between plus twenty five and plus 70 plus 70 would begin to move them towards the all time high of eighteen ninety four . so there would be extraordinary. but if you watch what's happening around the country every couple of weeks the various experts come out and they say you know a few more seats are leaning republican , few more seats are leaning republican . and i just saw another study today where there are a few more seats leaning republican . so this could be amazing and frankly things like last night putting a president on a comedy show when people are in pain is about the dumbest possible decision and so stupid you can't even believe they can
12:31 am
be that stupid. but note the desperation over what they know is coming in november. you can you can feel it tonight at this committee hearing and the media coverage surrounding it. watch this and the amount of new information i learned as someone who thinks about this story 14 hours a day for 17 months in the last hour is newt is positively giddy over all the new information that was learned tonight . i must admit that new information on no, no, if this was a jury trial, i think there were two things that came up to destroy the case against donald trump. the first was liz cheney who said openly , oh , they had intelligence reports three or four days earlier. well, how can you blame trump if in fact there were intelligence reports three or four days earlier that there were extremist gangs who wanted
12:32 am
to come and cause violence? second, the photographer that they brought in , the documentary filmmaker said he was with the proud boys and he was surprised that they did not go to the trump speech. they went straight to the capital . now how can you blame trump and the trump speech if the people who were violent didn't even go to the speech because they'd come to washington for the purpose of violence? so their efforts to tie this to trump are an absurdity. but it raises a question they're never going to try to answer. why did nancy pelosi turn down president trump's offer of twenty thousand national guardsmen? i mean, if they had those guardsmen at the capitol, nothing would have happened. and that was the recommendation of the capitol police chief who was overruled by schumer and pelosi. and they're not going to go into that at all. >> i think they're claiming are they claiming in less on the second that didn't
12:33 am
happen? aren't they claiming that no. that there was no such there was no such request or offer by by president trump? i know they're disputing that because there was a piece on the hill by the to that effect. well, they can claim that . but the fact is the offer was made three days out because, you know, the offer had to have been made because it was turned down now they couldn't have turned down a non offer. so the very fact that they had to meet that the sergeant at arms at both the senate and the house turned down the offer means by definition there must have been enough and i think there was an offer. you're right. you're a historian. you've written so many history books over the years. the idea that this was a coup or a coup attempt or an insurrection. very briefly, why is that a spurious claim on its face? it's not a coup is a serious effort to replace the government by an organized
12:34 am
group who has that purpose. this was this was a mob. it was a riot. i'm totally opposed to former speaker of the house. i am appalled that speaker pelosi did not protect the capital . i blame her for allowing the capital to remain vulnerable. this should have been something that could have been controlled easily. but a real coup is an effort to occupy the government and to change who controls washington. there's no evidence of anything like a coup here . this is all hysteria by the left for the reasons you said earlier, they're going to get wiped out this fall and this is one of the handful of straws they've got left to grasp and they're hoping they can around the country. and i hate to tell them the price of gasoline, the price of food, 15000 people in a convoy about to enter the u.s. illegally. that's a joke. the murder rates in big cities ,those are all going to trump to use the word with the democrats are trying to do no.
12:35 am
thank you so great to see you tonight . and we told you this . >> i think this whole week about the real terrorists. they're leftists using intimidation and even violence and violent campaigns now to threaten anyone with whom they disagree politically. now we see this in their continued attacks, pregnancy centers or the assassination attempt of a sitting supreme court justice. but recent history, it's no concern the democrats pick congresswoman jackie speier here she was today recounting her harrowing encounter during a jonestown massacre nearly forty five years ago. >> i believe i'm the only member of this house that is a victim of gun violence. >> my body is riddled with bullets. >> i live with that every single day. her ordeal was horrific, but she breezed right past something that happened less than five years ago. it was then on a virginia baseball diamond where
12:36 am
a deranged bernie sanders supporter fired off more than 60 rounds aspires republican colleagues. five people were hit, including my next guest who almost died as a result. congressman steve scalise joins me now. congressman aspires amission on the day that these hearings are being held. oh , here's a little bit convenient. i can't imagine she forgot what happened five years ago. your reaction, laura ? look, i mean, clearly we all know what happened. they you know, whatever her reason was, i think most americans are just sick and tired of the politicization that you're seeing by the democrats to try to change the subject. they know what the american people are angry about. american people are angry about what joe biden and nancy pelosi and their far left socialist agenda have done to people and they wish congress was addressing those things, not just hollywood production, not an attempt to take away your guns. it just seems like over and
12:37 am
over again they think they can blame and they can blame anybody else. the american people are smarter than that . they figure out who's the cause of the pain their families and our families are suffering and they want a change of direction as speaker gingrich has talked about, you know, what's coming in november, something they're scared to death of because they only want power. they still want to shut down cities. they still want to defund the police. they still want to do the things that the american people are tired of and the american people are going to have the final say on november 8th. >> now when you watch this hearing tonight and the you know, the attempted production value, we're going to get into some that with raymond arroyo coming up. but i don't know how much all this cost, but they've been working on this for 18 months. i mean, approximately this can't be cheap and last time i checked, we're kind of broke just to go over to grand central station, you'll see, i don't know, 30 or 40 people living on the streets, crawling on the streets, throwing up
12:38 am
on themselves because so sick or addled with drugs, i don't know which. but you know, america is just crumbling and especially in the urban areas. and yet what just blowing money on this for what reason, laura ? you know, one important question that we've asked the mainstream media to ask speaker pelosi who paid this hollywood producer because it's against the law to use taxpayer funds to produce a documentary trying to promote their political gender or go after their political opponents. and we haven't really heard an answer. you know who paid this guy? we know who he is. not only produced this video, he also supposedly covered up for jeffrey epstein. you know, so he's got his own track record . but how did he get paid? because he's not allowed to get taxpayer money to get paid. and if he did it for free , that's an in kind contribution which is also illegal. so i think the question of who did pay him and how much did he get paid and how did that transaction even occur is an interesting question because there may be violations of law.

>> you would think that the actions themselves on january six were dramatic enough. they didn't really need to bring someone in to produce the drama. i mean, this doesn't make any sense. congressman, great to see you. now the seen and unseen moments from the media circus surrounding tonight's tearing raymond arroyo is here on set for some comic relief. >> and today we need it. stay there. >> hi, i'm christina. you may know me from flipping houses. listen, i've designed hundreds of new spaces and i've seen it all crumbling group impossible seems clunky. step over to say goodbye to that ugly headache and hello to jacuzzi baths remodel. everyone knows the jacuzzi brand. they're the most trusted name in water for over sixty years. but did you know they can install it for his father shower? that feels incredible and as little as one day and at a price that will fit any budget supplementaries. a shower has never been easier. it was just so difficult getting in and out of the tub. taking a shower was such a challenge. now absolute highlight of

you're very good at coaching on that floor. no thanks. no thanks. i'd rather be harriet hagaman. do the well do it. but why is this political theater being produced now? because last night's late night theater didn't go so well to turn on the tv. look at the ads. t when's the last time you saw biracial couples on tv? one of the things is that it's very difficult now to have a even with notable exceptions, even the really good reporters ,they have to get some clicks on on the nightly news. we haven't been able tomm communicate it in a way that is say another way. we'll see. that's kind of perfect. t and one of the things look, i'm going to take a break and then we'll talk a little bitit more , know if yu see that . did you see that ? oh , yeah. this is a heavy edited clatworthy. kimmel was practically his running mate trying to help them along the way. but look, when the president has this much trouble

imagine if your sole purpose in life is everyone but they're instinctively racist and that almost everything around us is steeped in racism. well that pretty much defines racial activist provocateur and author abraham kennedy in an excerpt from his book how to raise an anti-racist that was just published in the atlantic, he writes about the distressing moments that he saw his then one yearte old daughter playing with a blue eyed white baby doll a daycare after noticing or playing with it for a few days, he and his partner quote wondered if our black child's attachment to the white doll could mean she had already

little kid is playing out in daycare. unbelievable. now i'm sure you were curious about what was kind of the big twist in candy's story. well, here it is. he said i rummaged through the toys atay the daycare and did n come across a single doll that looked asian, native latino, middle eastern black. every single doll i saw looked white. anger overtook not at the daycare owner at myself. his imani his daughter had been going here for several weeksfo and i not once examine the toy chest. i didn't expect this story to be a tragedy. >> he was mad at himself the whole time. oh my gosh.ug his poor daughter's life is ruined by the oppression. if not having a doll that represents a person of color, it's really unbelievables here . and he's talking aboutti representation and how kids need it. if your kid needs a person of color doll in order to feel represented, you're doing something wrong with your parenting. i don't need to see a biracial t neurosurgeon or newscaster toha know that i can be that .ts and if it's because of what my
12:57 am
parents told me so it can be is instead going to give his kid this teaching of anti-racism and critical race theory and effectively rob a lot from this young child's life. so it is sad when i think about it in depth and what this childm might be learning in its young formative years. >> maybe it's just always fun to play with . i mean, it sounds like she's not worried about colors of dolls. she's just learning to play what's i thought was good butin right. i'm not i don't have much of the hearings that you watch because you have to have an actual life. so but i want to get through some of your thoughts about the chair. bennie thompson, he was attempting b to tie peopleo who don't worry about jan six with those who ignored slavery. he said that at the top of his remarks, going back to his own his own where he's from and is part of the country, of course, white supremacy and kkk . >> and then january six , i did not get to see this with my own eyes. buthi what i will say is this is a lot less laughable thant
12:58 am
the last story when you use things like the kkk and slavery to make your point or to demonize somebody on the opposite side of the political aisle, you've done yourself a disservice. e you've done the american people a disservice and what you've done with those words like the kkk and slavery which are truly horrific and represent real transgressions that people put others through . you takehr the meaning away froi those words. i've been called the white supremacist. i'vetenled been called the not i don't think i'm truly capable. yes. on many occasions here way way the biracial you wait a second. who called you under what circumstances were you called the whites of premises the circumstance of purely being a conservative makes mee the biracial face of white supremacy. >> laura so the word o means nothing to me anymore because of how often it is thrown frivolously at people who do not deserve it. >> oh my.d. that's truly what he's done with the word angela, by the way, the news today that bidenn has dropped underha 50% with african-american voters and that new warning poll
12:59 am
i mean the numbers are disastrous across the board, but you reaction to that if those people turn out to vote, that's a landslide in the midterms for the republicans. yes, absolutely. my reaction to that is that i hope they turn out to vote. i hope they turn out to use their voices because so long right now the democratic party and people on the blue side of the aisle have beenlulu using black voices as a means to bolster their arguments and to push their own agenda. and it turns out their agenda doesn't benefit black peopleou who have thought that . so now they can turn on cnn and hear about all the racism that they're facing in their daily lives. but when they go to the groceryn store and they can't get tampons or they can't get baby formula or they can't even get to the grocery storee because of how expensive gas is, maybe they're going to look up at who'sreho running this country right now and go, no, i'm not going to go for itre anymore. i certainly hope they're right and we really appreciate you tonight . thanks so much. and what we saw tonight att the january 6th trial wasan the opening salvo in the 2020 two midterm. it's an opportunity for the democrats along with their new poodle's cheney

and kinzinger to try to paint donald trump and his supporters as nothing. but of course, insurrectionist. and remember, they weren't just a danger after the twenty twenty election. but for every election going forward, i think it's going to work. i think the polling is showing that a couple of hundred people who broke a law at the capitol is not an entiret political movement. that's it for us tonight. >> a fox news alert, price of gas nearing $5 nationwide, taking up $4.98 per gallon. diesel averaging whopping $5.75 per gallon. this comes as the white house is preparing for another damning inflation report. stocks also on the decline. check out this graph. president biden's approval rating shows gas price trending upward and
