overdoses in just 10 days. the attorney general will react. fentanyl related overdoses in montana up 112% from 20twenty, up 1100% from 2017, that trend line is going in the wrong direction and it sounds like it is only getting worse. >> that is exactly right, carley. it is only getting worse. we are seeing record amounts of fentanyl. seizure numbers are going up, confirmed fentanyl opioid deaths skyrocketed since joe biden has taken office and we're dealing with a real epidemic here. >> carley: there are two players in this, china and mexico, china ships ingredients to mexico and mexico ships the pills to the

united states. what is in it for them? >> two things at play. talking about raw ingredients from china, we have to ask ourselves what is communist china looking to do here? the chinese government has control of what comes out of that country. are they allying themselves with the mexican drug cartel to undermine our country? look at intelligence coming out of mexico, i think it is purely profit motive. they can make tremendous amount of money selling fentanyl in montana. the markup up here is huge. tablet necessary phoenix and denver and salt lake might be worth a couple dollars in montana, they can sell these fentanyl for over $100 per tablet, that is huge profit

>> steve: good morning, thank you for having me on the show. let's talk about what we're seeing unfold. the storm system in new jersey with the f-1 tornado is over the atlantic. in the central plains, in northern texas, severe storms earlier today drift southeast. from kansas city toward new orleans, 10 million people going to be impacted by severe weather. not a tornadic threat like we saw in new jersey, but straight line winds from shreveport to new orleans. atmospheric river is setting up, heavy rainfall will slam into the cascades. they are looking at three to five more inches of rainfall in higher elevations in oregon and this is as much rain as they

gas prices just below $5 a gallon. cheryl casone is here. good morning. >> cheryl: gas prices are on the rise this morning as you just showed, the national average at $4.98. according to eia, domestic gasoline stocks are down, demand grew as drivers continue to fuel up during the busy summer driving season. oil prices have been jumping, that is another headwind here. according to triple a, gas prices will stay elevated for the future. higher gasoline goes, greater risk of recession, fred kelleshg r told a heart breaking story earlier. >> i was getting gas and she went over and she paid $20 for four gallons, she wants to get home to take care of her family. she will not be able to enjoy things she could before because democrats created this mess of

the swampiest of people who have found themselves in the biden white house even though they don't want the stain of working for joe biden and kamala harris on their resume going forward in washington, d.c. obviously there is failure after failure for this president, for this white house, for this administration and i think at a certain point it probably becomes very frustrating to work for someone like joe biden who, gosh, how many times do they have to walk back his comments. it seems like every time he is in front of a camera, they are having to do extra clean-up for this guy. it's embarrassing. obviously when you have low morale, people are not enthusiastic about the person for whom they are working. they don't feel valued apparently, according to some of these reports. i can see why you would want to, you know, pick up your stuff and get out of there as soon as possible, but it does it look like a bad sign yet again for this white house. i don't think many of us are surprised though to see this. >> ashley: right. then the january 6th committee

labeled this. and it is insulting to the intelligence of the american people to think that we believe a very clearly partisan, yes, we have two republicans in name only on the board here on this council. but to think that we believe a partisan group of people whose hatred for donald trump is so thick, it is palpable through the television screen, you know, this fiasco that we saw last night was rife with lies by omission. they never had any interest in telling the truth. i don't think any of the future hearings that they have are going to give us any truth because they're leaving a lot of information out very conveniently. it was testimony that was choreographed by none other than a television producer because they are trying to tell a story and they are desperate to convince the american people that this is something they should be interested in when people cannot find baby formula.
