again, you have to protect due process and it can be abused, because i feel like the democrats and a bunch of evil haters will abuse it and flag anybody they don't like. >> dana: what do you think, judge? >> judge jeanine: i think at this point in history we really need to come together on something. i really do. too many children have died. i am -- you know, a gun owner and, i have long guns and handguns and believe in the second amendment, i am a second amendment absolutist. the whole idea of background checks, you know, yes, it is important, but you know, it is so hypocritical to say, we want you people who go to a store and want to buy a gun legally, we want more information from you, where is the criminals find the junk on the street, we have no idea who he is, and he is the one who is killing people in chicago. plus we have our border open, we don't even ask them what their name is. we want to do more deeper

background checks? but then the issue of the juvenile record, that is something that is not accessed unless you get a court order. and it seems that if they do the background check on young people and they go into their juvenile records, there has to be a whole overhaul of laws across this country to protect julie records. i'm not saying that it is not justified, you know? in some cases we find that juveniles go from julie crimes to homicide to cartel, there's no reason why it should automatically be field. so i like the idea of coming together and i like the idea of improving school safety and supporting the students. but some kind of mental health resources. but you know, i am glad that they didn't do anything more on guns, okay? we can say 18-21, i know that you believe this, geraldo, strongly, but there is a culture in this country where kids start learning to use guns at the ages five and six and seven, and so

juvenile records under certain circumstances. and aoc says that is racist? why, because if a presumably she is talking about a black or latino kid getting their records check and they have more juvenile defenses then a white kid? i don't know exactly what her problem is with this, but i go back to my whole thing about we are -- this is the civil rights issue of our time. black kids killing black kids. it is the number one cause of death among young black men in this country. it is the number one because, even eric adams, the new mayor of new york says it is the civil rights issue of our time. and the civil rights organization has to understand that it is the civil rights issue of our time, that we must stop harming youngsters who are committing a on their own people. >> jesse: can i add one thing quickly before we go to greg, if you are 18 and graduated from high school, so you don't go to college, you can't buy a pistol until you're 21 and if you can't

get a rifle, how are you supposed to move out of your parents home and get a job and protect yourself? you are unarmed, unprotected, i don't think that's the right thing to do. >> dana: maybe we should lower the drinking age to 18? >> greg: all i know as an 18-year-old i never drink beer, how amazing that law was. freshman year of college, sophomore year or more beer. i don't think i was 21 till i was a senior. this is kind of a crapshoot, although mass shootings are not as rare as we would like them to be, they are rare enough you can look at each one and gauge the effectiveness at these changes, we might not see any changes from the stuff, because we are always operating from the last moment backwards. i think that the conclusion that aoc was coming towards was she was peering two ideas together, that all of this is caused by right supremacy and misogyny and red flag laws are racist. what is the solution? only scrutinize white gun owners, that's where she is

very sad, i tell you, greg. very sad for these twitter employees. elon musk coming in upping the price of the stock, and they are disappointed. do you think they need a crying room? >> greg: here's my prediction, the employee's most angry will talk about the hypothetical harm they experience from words and ideas that this is creating an unsafe environment, that's why they want to ban the madness and extremes of gender and trans activism and what teachers were actually telling their kids in schools, and that for them they think is unsafe and harmful, because it actually kind of reveals some ideologies. something is afoot though. it's not just about twitter, it's about what elon musk is part of, and may be inspiring other companies to do the same thing, but it seems like there are adults returning from vacation to tell the kids to go upstairs and eat their freaking vegetables. look at netflix putting their foot down.
