with drag queen story hour and we should not be surprised. >> tucker: that's the most interesting thing i've heard in a while. pete hegseth, congrats on the book. thank you. here's a question, are the nazis in the battalion vaccinated? we will look into it. back tomorrow night. welcome to hannity. we are tracking multiple major stories including president biden's upcoming trip to saudi arabia. 2019, candidate joe biden vowed to make saudi arabia pay the price for killing the journalist jamal khashoggi. referred to the crown prince is a pariah. proclaimed "there's very little social redeeming value of the present government of saudi arabia." all right, joe. you go to saudi arabia, are you going to stand up and say to his face? write to the crown prince? are you going to make and pay

the price like you promised or will joe biden get on his knees and beg and plead and hem and haw for oil that he is unwilling to drill for in america. the answer is likely obvious. we will have more on this with former secretary of state mike pompeo. along with the look into saudi arabia's attempt to cleanse their toxic image, multi-billion-dollar golf tournament featuring record setting payouts to major american golfers. and newly unearthed audio that's been extracted from a laptop from hell shows hunter biden bragging about the influence he has over his father. we have that tape straight ahead. also we are monitoring primary results in four states, south carolina, north dakota, nevada, maine along with a runoff in texas. we'll keep you posted on the numbers as they come intimate and thankfully the midterms are only five months away and we have a chance to stop the

devastated policies of joe biden. with democrats running the entire show and the washington swamp, this country is now barreling into what will be a prolonged period of economic pain, economic suffering, the national average for a gallon of gas is up yet again for the 18th straight day. well over five bucks a gallon nationally, that's the average. diesel is much higher. nearly $6. we'll have a lot more on this. inflation is also still on the rise. the stock market is plunging dramatically. guess what. we are back to where joe started on day one. the dow jones average down another 150 points today. five days in a row. significant declines four out of the five and tomorrow could likely be much worse. the fed expected once again raise interest rates either have a point or a massive three quarters of a point interest rate hike and will continue to hike rates for the foreseeable future. goldman sachs critics as many as

11 in the next two years and that means well, new home sales will go down. new home construction, yeah, that's about to come to a standstill. sales of existing homes will plummet. home values, sorry, i know many of you recently got valuations. they will head south fast too as well. the higher the rates, fewer loans, fewer americans that will be out there buying houses. combine that with inflation, spiking gas prices, this country, we are all headed into a very scary place. already two-thirds of the country's living paycheck to paycheck. former obama economic advisor, i don't always agree with him but he's been right on every item up to this point as it relates to biden's economy, lawrence summers predicted a recession is imminent in the next year or two. remember, summers was the one that accurately corrected the administration predicting that the current inflation crisis was in fact real when they were

saying it was only transitory. so now with everything imploding around him, well, joe biden, your president, is outraged. not about the economy. he seems to think his economic policies are a historic success. no, today joey was matted you, we, the american people for complaining about the inflation his policies cause. why are you mad at me, joe? >> i don't want to hear anymore of these lies about reckless spending. we are changing people's lives. >> sean: joey is mad. he is all animated. must've had his wheaties this morning. it wasn't just biden's out-of-control spending that cost inflation. it was joe's war on the oil and gas industry on behalf of of course the climate alarmist cult that is the new green deal socialist party that he is beholden to. by the way, i keep coming back to oil and gas. why? because energy independence is the single number one thing that
6:05 pm
we can do to bring down the costs at the pump and lower diesel prices. lower diesel prices, that lowers the price of every item you buy at every store you shop at. that's not going to happen. this administration, they put their priority on the climate alarmist cult, not on you, we, the american people. listen to what the bidens kleinman czar, john kerry, had to say. >> worry driving the thoughts. we need more drilling. we need to go back to a call. no, we don't. we absolutely don't. we have to prevent a false narrative from entering into this or again, pun intended, we are cooked. >> sean: carry, like everyone else wants gas prices to be hig. it's a means to an end. they want you to consume less energy. they want you to travel less.

they want to force you to buy an electric car and just last week biden's energy secretary, jennifer granholm said americans can save money on gas by purchasing a $60,000 electric car. everybody got an extra 60 grand laying around? i think we need to hire d programmers for these climate obsessed cult maniacs. this climate socialist cult has so indoctrinated all of them they have lost every bit of common sense that they ever had if they ever had any. the simple answer, we have a solution. go back to the trump policies of energy independence. that would mean they would need to green light the keystone xl pipeline. we can get 900,000 barrels of canadian oil a day. that will help lower the price of the pump. that's an easy one. the alberta premier said it would be done by now if joe didn't put a restriction on it. we can lift the exploration fan man that he put in place and on more. we can end joe biden's boss on

6:11 pm
justice kavanaugh which by the way was not mentioned on any sunday show except fox news sunday. the bill eventually did pass. 396-27. by the way, look at the 27 names right there, all 27 no votes came from democrats including a lot of squad members. aoc was in there. congresswoman tlaib was in there. anyway, they even went as far as doxxing the children's school of amy coney barrett. this after the assassination, well, attempt, was discovered by law enforcement are here with reaction, the host of the monica crowley podcast, monica crowley herself. along with the author, his new book is out soon. get an early copy. amazon.com and bookstores everywhere called "oppression, depression, snobbery, bias: why the press gets so much wrong and just doesn't care." ari fleischer. last but certainly not least, our own joe concha.
6:12 pm
monica, let's start with you. you look at the state of the economy. how do you make a case to point to one thing that i must be missing because every indicator i see tells me that this is an economic disaster. record high gas prices, 42 year however inflation can we have the middle-class and people on fixed incomes, they are suffering badly. we can get out of the mess but that's not on the table. >> that's right. you know the old saying, don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining. democrats trying to say, trying to spin this. the story catastrophe of a presidency. particularly with regards to the economy. they are saying don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining. it's an economic horror show. they have decide between
6:13 pm
groceries and gas to get to work and try to pay for basic necessities that they can no longer afford. that's also assuming that they can feed their children with the baby formula shortage. so in every direction, this this an epic disaster and there is spin and then blatant lying. this administration is lying through its teeth. the democrats, including joe biden, have gotten away for so long with lying to the public and having the press and the public laugh it up unquestioningly. he thought he could get away with it. things have so dramatically changed for the worse under this man that people are just flat out rejecting the truth and the truth is staring them in the face every time they get up and try to make their way through the economy. >> sean: that's a key point. i know democrats if they -- if roe vs. wade is overturned, they want to run on that, they want to run on guns.
6:14 pm
they will use every election-year playbook. every american every day in her mind and when they fill up the tank and every store they go to, they pay a premium. this is a reality in spite of the lies, as monica called them, that they are telling every day. >> it shows how out of touch and out to lunch the biden administration is when it comes to the minds of the american people. joe biden is not the first person worthy overwhelming majority of the people think the country is on the wrong track but he's the first presidential run by saying the american people are wrong. >> sean: let me challenge one thing that you say. are they really out of touch? the biden administration? or do they really believe deep down in their hearts that somehow if they force americans and get them off fossil fuels that they are saving the world
6:15 pm
while they are making iran and opec nations in saudi arabia and maybe even venezuela rich. they believe in? do they think they are saving mother earth? >> i think what they really believe is the economy is good because on appointment is low and historically people respond on appointment numbers. but joe biden is kind of like a world war general in france. the problem was germany. building marginal line and prevent germany from attacking. germany went around the line and invaded from belgium into france. the issue is in emplacement, not unemployment. talks about all these other issues. american people are sensible and they get it and they know it's going on in their lives. it's economics. and it's inflation and it's killing the american people. >> sean: did you ever think, joe concha, you would see don lemon, liberal ideas. i don't know if he calls himself a journalist. it's a joke. he's a talk show host. he's just not honest about it. he's asking the question of
6:16 pm
karine jean-pierre. as the president have the stamina physically and mentally. do you think to continue on even after 20204? don lemon is asking that question. he could have said i think sean hannity on fox is right. he forgot that part is asking the question even the left as i've been saying, they all see it but they don't say it. >> don lemon has called himself a serious journalist before so there's that. there's never been and i understand she's new. but there's never been a more unsteady, unconfident, unprepared press secretary quite like karine jean-pierre. she couldn't be the spokesperson for america she continues to read most of her answers from a binder. not just looking at notes.
6:17 pm
we are talking about whole paragraphs. don kirby should be in that position. he's probably the most competent, articulate person but karine jean-pierre was chosen for other reasons and in the end, joe biden is officially pulling at the lowest numbers of any first-term president in pulling history, talking about truman to trump. the guy who got more votes than anyone else in history is now polling lower than anyone else in his position at this time in his presidency. when you are seen by the american people as too old and not mentally sharp for the job, that's a perception that's impossible to undo. >> sean: just to play devil's advocate, maybe when karine jean-pierre says she can't keep up with joe biden, maybe we're just not seeing the energetic joe, maybe we are seeing it, maybe there's a side of him they've been hiding the entire time.
6:18 pm
>> there is a schedule that's out every day of what the president does. as you said, call the lid at 2:00. you don't see the work ethic. at least if you look like he was putting the effort as he's approaching age 80, you could say at least he's trying. but he shouldn't -- at this point, who was it, david axelrod on cnn also said that the prospect of a second term joe biden who will be closer to 90 than 80 being president of this country given the energy level and given his mental capacity, it's a prospect that even democrats are saying we don't want any part of. the bottom line is, to quote the president, he said i've done everything in my power. putin's price hike, this person or his handlers think american people are several flavors and stupid. it's been going on for nearly 17

months, inflation going up and gas prices going up. >> sean: even the left, even "the new york times" is raising the question, this guy can't run in 2024. we all know the truth. things are really bad. we're going to get shellacked in november. we don't want to get killed in 2024 also. i think this is a united democratic party effort. do you agree and when you look at the feds, pete buttigieg, amy klobuchar, elizabeth warren, who they have? >> losers all, sean. none of them are going to be the nominee. you don't get articles like we just saw this weekend in "the new york times" questioning joe biden's fitness, putting democrats on the record including david axelrod saying absolutely cannot run again. he cannot be the nominee unless the democrat power brokers want him gone so it's clear that they
6:20 pm
want him gone and the question is how are they going to maneuver it and who are they going to install? is he going to be mrs. obama? is he going to be hillary clinton? it's got to be a heavyweight. >> sean: what are your thoughts, ari fleischer. >> it's going to be up to the democratic primary voters. nobody can install anybody. i wrote a piece. i think there's some governors out there who have not run before. they are younger. that's going to be a new generation. democrats. you can't rule out the democrat socialist. will aoc run? you have 20 democrats in 2016. i'm sorry, 2019. candidates just like that now. it's healthy. it's a healthy part of democracy. the bottom line is remains in 2023 joe biden will be a lame duck and the democrats are going to breathe a sigh of relief. >> sean: all right, last
6:21 pm
question. joe concha, 30 seconds. who are the most promising, top three most promising democrats assuming joe doesn't run in 2024? >> you have the governor of kentucky right now, that's certainly polling pretty high. that's one. i would think. then again we've seen before in 2020. i know only have 15 seconds at this point. when more moderate governors before the democratic party run, the left wing, the aoc wing makes sure that they don't get anywhere near the nomination so it's hard to tell at this point. maybe hillary clinton as crazy as it sounds given the competition could be your next nominee, sean. >> sean: okay, that's a bad choice. thank you all. good to see you. ari, looking forward to your book. the biden administration continues to fail, you, the

6:27 pm
sales of existing homes, they're going to plummet because of the increased interest rates and they will rise again tomorrow. home values as a result, not going to have many customers. they are to drop dramatically with may be a few exceptions. florida probably won't be hit as hard because demand is so high. texas, the carolinas, tennessee. so many people moving into those states so they might be able to do better. biden's approval rating crashing, as it should. economic and energy policies destroying our economy and any transfer of a large portion of the population to have prosperity, inflation, gas prices, border, pretty much everything between. the biden white house keeps finding new ways to somehow make awful situations a lot worse. here with reaction it is very unique style and ways our friend, senator john kennedy from the great state of louisiana. you know, senator, i have a question for you because you are a common sense guy.
6:28 pm
i'd like to put aside republican, democrat. i want americans to have a chance to be successful. that's why i'm a conservative. i think conservatism works. so in all these years, 35 years in radio, 26 and a half years at fox. over those years, i've seen a lot of research on myself. and sometimes there's criticism from one or two people. i will look at it and pay attention. when there is the trend of 15, 20, 30 people may be making the same criticism about me in some way. i usually pay attention when i try to change to be better at what i do. now, if you have record high gas prices that we've never seen before now over five bucks a gallon, record high inflation. the obvious answer would be to change, to go back to the policies that you inherited that work. why won't joe biden and his party consider the policy
6:29 pm
changed if that would be needed? >> sean, i don't know. some of my democratic colleagues have raised age is an issue for the president. my judgment is age is the least of the presidents problems. he doesn't run for reelection, in my opinion it will be because of his unpopularity. i don't think i am unlike most americans. i think, i know about 90% of my personal and political philosophy is don't hate, don't hurt someone unless you have to defend yourself. don't take other people's stuff. leave me alone. and president biden obviously disagrees. he and his administration are constantly screwing with the american people, telling them how to live their lives.
6:30 pm
they do so in a way that does not improve the lives of most americans. i give you a few examples. president biden and the biden administration sick the department of justice on parents who care enough about their kids to go to a school board meeting and ask questions. the biden administration called the people of florida bunch of bigots because they don't want government talking to their 5-year-old children about sexuality. the biden administration called the good people of georgia racist because they believe that you ought to have to prove you are who you say you are in order to vote. just today president biden gave a speech and here's what he told the american people. he told the american people that their 401(k)s have crashed and that gas has gone from $2 to $5
6:31 pm
because the economy is so good. >> sean: [laughs] >> no one believes that. no one believes that. that's why i say president biden's biggest challenge in my judgment is not his age. it's his policies. that he won't change. >> sean: i want to take you to the next step. you gave me the answer about biden but you're pretty cordial, personable individual. i'm sure you talk to other people on the other side of the aisle. i would assume you have a good relationship with many of them. what about them? what are they saying about the high gas prices question what are they saying about joe? what are they saying about inflation, the state of the economy, the border, all these issues? are they not seeing what is so plainly obvious to everyone else? >> when it becomes time to talk

about president biden's policies, let me put it another way. dog the bounty hunter couldn't find most of my democratic colleagues when you want to talk about president biden's administration. >> sean: joe manchin, kyrsten sinema, they seem to be people you can work with. they seem reasonable. they have blocked their party and said no we're not going along with some of the policies and i give them credit for doing so they've taken a lot of heat for doing it. >> yes. but they don't criticize the president. maybe they do privately. but my biggest surprise in the past six months particularly after the virginia governor's race is that this administration, instead of course correcting, they have doubled down. at this juncture i can tell you most americans look at this
6:33 pm
administration, how can i put this, they think andy has left town and bernie is in charge. or maybe otis. they just don't understand. >> sean: some people don't understand you are talking about me very usa. they don't know. >> they should watch the series. they might learn something. >> tucker: they might. it's interesting and i've said this before. it's worth repeating in my view. after the midterm shellacking and hillary care failed. they didn't have a good first midterm, bill clinton in 1994 when the republicans came to power on the contract with america, newt gingrich is a vision, bill clinton, the era of big government is over and it's the end of welfare as we know it. he also had as we describe a sister soldier moment.
6:34 pm
i don't see that capacity in any democrat but for the two that i mentioned, do you? >> no but here's the difference between the clinton and the biden administration's. president clinton appointed what one commentator called this week a bunch of high i.q. stupid people. in other words, well educated but no common sense. president biden has appointed whack jobs. these people dropped acid and an outback parking lot. you can't reason with them. they are just so woke and that's the difference in my opinion. and it's why they haven't course corrected. >> sean: senator, we need you back in the senate. of the good people of louisiana will gladly pull the lever for you and vote for you. we appreciate you being with us. straight ahead, biden's massive flip-flops. going to saudi arabia, going to beg for oil after he called the

the murder of jamal khashoggi was something the trump administration dealt with, we sanctioned a dozen plus officials from the kingdom. they have been someone who supported our efforts to build the abraham accords, the historic piece arrangements between the united states and israel. the president is going to go there. i hope you'll use it as a opportunity to build out peace and civility and reduce the risk that we ever have to send americans to fight in those places. the history too many times, we ought to get this right, ought to get this relationship right, it's important we work on human rights. this is important security for the united states. >> sean: context is important. if you would've told me that an alliance would emerge between the u.s., israel, the saudis, the jordanians, egyptians, and the emirates, i wouldn't have believed it. i wouldn't have thought it possible but it did happen in large part to stop iranian hegemony in the region and stop iran from getting a nuclear weapon.
