this year's midterm election. and you had a chance to speak with him yesterday. what did you guys talk about? >> that is right, carley, i sat down with a former vice president in chicago yesterday and he told me republicans need to focus winning congressional seats and local and state before planning for 2024. he said, we need to win the midterm elections and reelect republican governors around the country. trump told me the vote extraordinary with the trump administration head during the first two years was not just because we had republican majorities in the house and senate but also because they had 31 republican governors that were partnering with them every day to advance policies at the state level that magnified what they were doing at the federal level. and mike pence told me he's not ruling out a presidential run himself, especially when he believes democrats are using the january 6th committee to distract from what he called

him. do you think that is where the american people are? do you think if roe will get overturned, it will boost his poll numbers? >> i don't think so. i think joe biden's poll numbers are where they are for a variety of reasons. i don't think there is much political support for abortion on demand with tax dollars, which is the left's approach here. and i think americans are going to be better off where we have more protections for mothers and their unborn children. now, joe biden's on the wrong side of this. we may see a negative because he is promoting extremism. i may have missed it. i don't want to say he's actually never said anything directly on this yet because who knows. maybe he said something. but has he said anything directly personally about the

service academy in our nation. it's been around since the revolutionary war. and we are teaching anti-americanism and racial division. you know, frankly it is designed to attack one race and victimize another. and if you are trying to build a cohesive military, why would you bring this end? to me, there's got to be accountability. congress has to step in. we have the justice department that should be preventing this type of, in my view, legal based discrimination and hatred for being promoted in the military facilities. where is the chief -- where is the defense secretary? where is the chief of staff? where is the leadership of west point? of course, many people forget, president biden purged the visitors board of west point and the service academies and they have been essentially not operating the last few months.

than west point to teach love of country." if you are talking about modern-day slavery in the u.s., what does that due to the american military? fox news reached out to dod for a response, we haven't heard back. have you? >> no, we sued them so that's how we hear things back, they turn over documents and the court process. you know, this is where we train the next generation of army leaders. this is rising officer corps and military. they are being told they have to understand crt and apply it to public policy issues. it is a marxist cousin theory which is just a variation of the theme in terms of anti-americanism. so they have to understand this marxist attack on america, this raises attack on america that wants to undo our entire system. our military needs to be protecting error military system

and want to work but can't be productive while people keep dragging them into debates and therapy sessions. jesse powell joins us now. jesse, basically your statement is we are inclusive but not woke is what you are messaging is. do you think other companies will follow suit? >> absolutely. so, i think you are starting to see the pendulum swing back the other way. i think you see a lot of leaders, a lot of companies to take a stance and find their culture clearly. the first people not in and aligned with the culture to find a better opportunity for themselves. >> what type of people are you looking to hire? you said your company looking to do a better job of filtering up front. what did you mean by that? >> yeah, in fact since the culture dock was released a few days ago, 2,000 increased percent to the career page. something must be resonating with people out there.

what we are looking for is someone who is aligned with our culture and values. who is very resilient, who is going to be comfortable working in an environment with people from 70 plus countries speaking 50 plus different languages. so, that means different norms, different cultures, different ideas and the diversity of viewpoints and not just checking boxes on the census. it is literally people all over the world participating in this company. you really have to have thick skin and appreciation for the culture to be able to work in a place like this. you know, a lot of people are looking for something like that. there are a few people looking for something that fits their ideology or very specific narrow view of the world which is, if you don't agree with me, you are an evil person and i need to destroy you. we certainly don't want those kind of people at the company. >> hopefully, putting that in the forefront, it will prevent

people that you don't need working for you like that to even try in the first place. here is the kraken statement on keeping people out of the workplace "we will never ask them to adopt ideology as a requirement for the workplace. we asked employees respect privacy, freedoms of others. crypto is a freedom movement and kraken a freedom company." elon musk tweeted back in response to it saying "good." what do you make elon musk being on board with you and your company and your stance? >> i think it is great to see more leaders. you know, obviously elon is a respected person and leader. he's got some company in california as well. he's dealing with similar issues via twitter which i think that some of the same problems we've. i'm sure he's used to facing some of it, but seems to have the right approach to it.

i think he will do just fine. >> jesse, have you had pushed back for may be anyone praising comments internally? >> yeah, there has been pushed back internally. some of the people who are now leaving, pushback and always interesting to me. i started this company years ago and people come in three months and think they have an opinion how the company should be run. we sacrifice a long way to get to where we are. we certainly will not bend over backwards or cave to some new 25-year-old joining the company and wanting to impress political ideology on the 3,000 people in the company. so, you know, i don't know what to say to those people other than i am sorry to disappoint you. but hopefully, there is a better opportunity out there for you. a lot of people in the company have a lot of different views. this whole thing comes down to tolerance and they are the people who are intolerant of other people's views.

george gaskell brags he will be next. awoke governing body for lia thomas with gender inclusion policy limiting which transgender swimmers are able to compete in women's sports. lgbqt advocacy group stated a new eligibility criteria for transgender athletes and athletes with variations discriminatory. transgender athletes criticizing the move "all women suffer up and sports organizations release the bodies of women." two-time olympian and elite marathon runner mara yamauchi is joining us now. i want to read this. this is the policy, gender inclusion policy. it includes transgender sports, must transition before the age of 12. men are able to compete in man's competition with some exceptions in the organization is researching new policy policy to have open competition for all

genders. do you think this policy is fair to women? >> yes, i do. what they have done is upheld and enforced female swimmers and female athletes and any other sports that covers this, et cetera. i welcome this decision. the female -- so that females can have fair and safe competition. and by definition the males who have gone through male puberty, this is what fina have done. anybody who's gone through male puberty cannot compete in the women's category. this is the only way you can achieve for female athletes. the difference between males and females in swimming is approximately 10%. males outperform females 10%. therefore, testosterone depression, science shows it

does not move the advantages. it removes some but not all. therefore, you have males competing against females is unfair to females. >> lia thomas is the most notable transgender swimmer because mediocre at best while competing as a man just a few years ago and transition to female swimming and started dominating. this decision would prevent lia thomas from competing in the olympics with other women. but there is discussion, starting a transgender category. do you think that is the direction we are going and where we see men, women and transgender category at the olympic level? >> just to your first point, lia thomas is welcome at the olympics and the male category. but the biological sex is male if she can qualify. she is welcome in the mail olympics. but b3 will look at an open category. one solution to this category is

to have two categories, one for females exclusively and the other would be open. so, all males or trans women, anybody not biologically female goes to the open category. what i understand, they will stick with male and female, and then have an extra open category. fina says the working groups, so we don't know exactly how it will work. but yes, i think it is a good solution because people who are born male like lia thomas cannot compete in the female category. and we can protect females. so i think an open category is a very good solution. trans people must and should be welcomed in sports, for everybody and it is good for mental and physical health. nobody is banning trans people from sports. this is a question of categories. so i think fina's category of an open category is good.

who will be sworn in to the house by speaker nancy pelosi this afternoon. pulling out a major win in last week's went off in texas flipping a seat historically gone to democrats for more than a century. right now the balance of power in the house stands at 220 democrats, 209 republicans. in virginia voters are getting ready to head to the polls in just over an hour as republicans hope red wave pool sweep through the state again. so what are the issues that will help them make up their minds? joining us is virginia brian howard in fairfax county, cheryl ondercain, parents for education member and a single mother of three and dr. amie bowman and mother of three as well. good morning to you all. cheryl, i will start with you and ask a loaded question at that. how do you feel about the state of the country and what of the issues that matter to you? >> well, the state of the

country is pretty bleak today. i think we are going to see a huge red wave, not just in virginia november but across the country. for me personally, if you know, the top issues that i would really like to see her ship tackle are, you know giving us relief on the economy, crime, you know, we saw these progressives prosecutors. we have one right here in my backyard in loudoun county going light on crime. we need to get back to being tough on crime and keeping the community safe. education has been a huge one for me for over two years now my ever since they closed schools and i became an accidental activist in part of the parents movement here appear the open border, you know, national secut continues to ignore. they double down.

and they are focused on the wrong thing. >> you don't think about loudoun county on a national level without thinking about education. it is a beautiful country but put on the map a national level but amy, what is driving you to the polls today? the three top issues for me are education and inflation in what i call social instability. for virginia's education system this year as parents, we found out that more than 60% of the kids in virginia at the third through eighth grade level are proficient in reading and math. yet, the school seems more concerned about what pronouns students are using and whether they can come if you know, understand the language of the oppressed versus oppressor. where does reading and math come in? that is their job. covid showed us believe there are a whole bunch of things going on in the code that shouldn't be going on there.

the content is a huge one that we are dealing with in our county. as far as inflation goes, it is terrible. when you go to the grocery store in the last year from our grocery prices have doubled. eric asked prices have tripled,, and our wages are staying the same. families can't deal with that. lastly, stability front, social instability front. we don't have a common language anymore. it used to be that we could agree that this is what america was. this is what is great about america. when we have that common language and common values come a can work together to address the problems that we are having peer that is not the case anymore. so looking for politicians to come with resolutions. >> that is so well said so much mud flinging and so little crosstalk in conversation and trying to reach actual

conclusions. you live in fairfax county and other beautiful area but what is top of mind today? >> i will echo much of the same pure of the gas and groceries, it is a nightmare appeared any time you go to the grocery store, even food shortages and went to get eggs yesterday and i had to go to two different grocery stores to get eggs for my family. i think politicians need to recognize the trauma that many families have faced over the course of the last two years that really create solutions. i think many people are feeling what can go wrong next. we need hope. we made solutions for many of the problems that are in the community. >> the gas prices, we have the new average for your state, $4.80 per gallon. so, it is pretty evident why all of you are feeling that. thank you so much for joining us this morning. it is great talking to you.
