hancock park a high-end area where maxine waters has a $5 million mansion, ucla grad student stabbed to death by a career criminal who should not of it out in the streets. beverly hills a music mogul's wife was murdered, she is in her 80s and they had armed security at the home. guy comes in with a firearm, shoots the woman again a long criminal record and two weeks ago, two police officers right outside of l.a. were murdered by a guy who was also a career criminal. he was facing three years in jail because as a career criminal you're not supposed to have a firearm, he had a firearm. the assistant d.a. handling the case said because of the soft on crime policy of the d.a. george gascoigne who is facing a recall election in november, he got 20 days and two years probation. the day before he killed the cops, his probation officer wanted to revoke his probation because he had assaulted his girlfriend had wanted him arrested. he wasn't arrested, they gave him a hearing.

he shouldn't of been on the streets in the first place. >> sean: i saw you with mayor giuliani out campaigning for andrew the other day and the thing is as we know how to stop crime especially murder with good policing because rudy giuliani got the process started to. we were getting their 3,000 murders in new york city a year and between his policies continued by mayor bloomberg, we got down to about 300 to. those policies work, he ran on refunding the police and bring it back his policies. we wouldn't be having this type of crime, would we? >> you have to have stop and frisk particularly in the high crime areas where young men decide they want to raise their 9-millimeter and shoot it in the air like they just don't care. the other problem if you notice with the united states supreme court ruling that law-abiding men and women should have the right to have a concealed permit to carry a handgun, all these mayors and

all these governors both in california where larry isn't where i am in new york they act as if this is the worst possible thing, law-abiding legal americans carrying a concealed weapon is a danger. look at all the places where that takes place already. you go to arizona, you go to florida, go to texas, you could all these states where law-abiding citizens are able to defend themselves and their fellow citizens and that's a much safer place to be an event in the places where larry and i live in in which they make it almost impossible for you to have a concealed carry permit yet the criminals have a license to shoot and loot and a steal and do it again and again. >> sean: now the right to keep the arms shall not be infringed is back, we will see how the states try to work their way around it to. larry elder, thank you curtis, great to see you. when we come back, more "hannity" straight ahead.
