polarizing institution in the united states. frankly, it's not really surprising. last year the media hit an had n all-time low and they just can't rebound. especially when it comes to the supreme court "new york times" writes about the big political ruling in the senate republicans took the politically risky step of banning abortion. the the courts took care of that for them. you would think that somebody writing for 30 years could've gotten this right, but what they actually did, yesterday after the court rejected the case, some workers challenged vaccine mandates, the media went after who else but clarence thomas. >> instead of just fact checking, supreme court justice clarence thomas that also wrote

overseas. the average person walks around and thinks of the country is falling apart. >> everything from airplanes to where you need to go, to baby formula you cannot find in the stores. and changing the rules here is a bad idea and so you can tell it's a bad idea by the last week of the supreme court verdict. the democrats decided that they were going to change the rules about the filibuster, when president trump came in, mitch mcconnell said you change the rules at one place we will change supreme court nominees. well, now we have justice kavanaugh and amy coney barrett. >> now we are talking about them

being huddled up at the white house and how to have an abortion, and they're talking about this, saying maybe we can do this at locations, it's as if we forgot what this is. and it makes it seem like they think it's the ultimate positive taking away from what it actually does. >> they think that this is the one gift that they can do and they are taking that and pushing it down for the states to make these decisions. they did not get rid of abortions, they might say california, massachusetts, new

york, getting more abortions than ever. and all they are saying is that they get to do so in their states, they are trying to scare people. but they are running on a fallacy by overstating what the supreme court actually did. >> talking about the evolution of joe biden, they said when it comes to issues like this i'm about as liberal as your grandmother. i think it went too far. i don't think a woman has a right to say what should happen to her body. but fast forward that in 2008 the running mate agreed that this was a very good decision and that is why he got the question. are you really the best messenger when it comes to wade

separate a law-abiding new article that needs to securely carry firearms solely in self-defense. and that includes those and doing what this action today is, it is targeting the law-abiding new yorker, i don't think they are making it more safe but lifs safe. and you know that there is likely counter resistance. >> so for people to put it in layman's terms, the second amendment has really been taken away this from the cities names

and places like court houses, squares, time squares, court houses, schools. don't you think that this invites another lawsuit? >> yeah, it's almost specifics all but the supreme court did and then in a way they ran even worse than what the supreme court said was unconstitutional. they will have to go through that entire process, they will have to decide again and it showing a lack of respect rule of law and the constitution. >> $35 million. set aside to make sure that new york is a welcome place for

abortions was also put forth by the governor, talking about different places, saying that it could be banned for the most part. what is your reaction? >> the reason why the governor is pushing this as she doesn't want to talk about what matters most to new yorkers. she doesn't want to talk about crime and public safety or people struggling to afford to survive, whether it is just the overall cost of living so she's trying to find a way to activate the base because they don't really like her. new yorkers have not had a good first impression. there is a lack of excitement and enthusiasm. so she's trying to put fear into people on the issue of abortion and divide people.

and she is showing off pro-abortion, as if it's a great thing that more more people should consider. >> i understand, i want to hear the suggestion that you just made today about where abortions could be taking place. >> mr. president, we ask you to consider federal facilities. veterans hospitals, military bases, other places where the federal government controls the jurisdiction and some of the states that are hostile to women's rights and make sure that those services can be provided to other women. >> military bases, is that a good move? >> no, absolutely not. and it's really sad that this is
