in chicago this weekend, including nine killed since friday. >> griff: mail carriers in washington, d.c. and maryland have been held up at gunpoint six times in two days. david webb joins us now, happy 4th. a quote from the spokesperson from the u.s. mail inspection service says this. this alarming trend needs to stop, it is sad robberies occur against someone providing essential service to our communities, it is happening here and has to end. david, your reaction. >> david: it is tragic, one, postal workers go out everyday and make sure america gets its mail. of course you don't want this to happen.
