the iraq war was a mess. we withdrew and lost the piece, and then ice is popped up, and we had to go back in. at this point, america was sick of the mideast, and we took our soldiers and bases out of there. but we can't leave without a plan in place, and i we are begging. and beggars can't be choosers. here's what i mean. all american presidents have made the pilgrimage to saudi arabia to make sure the royal family kept the oil flowing and kept prices down. remember when george w. bush held hands with the saudi crown prince? or when barack obama bowed? and then he said it never happened. 4:06 pm
the only thing that is going to happen now is americans get hurt. so here's the bottom line. like it or not, the economy runs on fossil fuels, getting fossil fuels out of the ground is tough stuff, and their stuff people involved, all over the world. we need cheap energy to survive. if we don't have it, people suffer. life gets expensive. and companies go out of business. this is black-and-white. it is basic math. supply and demand. if you injectable ideology and idealism into the equation, prices go up and americans feel pain. they can't make ends meet. they lose their savings and their freedom. oil is freedom. for more oil you have, the more freedom you have. the american people understand this. biden things we will fall for the same talking points he's been pushing for months. when a reporter asked all sky high prices today, this is what he said. >> coming out every single day
