shipping costs and trucking costs. as well as gas costs. >> i'm not making anything, i get paid tomorrow and already my entire paycheck is spoken for. i don't know how we are going to continue to get groceries. >> you either you buy gas, that's the way goes right now. and it shouldn't be like that in america. >> no, it shouldn't, but this is the united states of america, joe biden's america. >> this is the united states of america. you can't do that? >> well, i guess not. many people out of work, long lines at food banks. but it was getting better. the unemployment rate was going down, the economy was rebounding. president joe biden handed a a

country that was getting back on its feet, but then it changed. so knowing all of this, americans are truly in trouble. how is the white house responding to all of this? >> we have a long way to go due to inflation and i call it the tax increase. >> higher costs springs from inflation in shorter supply, short supply is there because of covid-19 preventing certain products from coming into our country. >> because of this energy crisis, that is part of it. >> so is it because of vladimir putin? the supply chain? i'm having trouble keeping track. these excuses keep piling up.

making it more difficult for the oil and gas industry to explore, to produce and refine in the united states. >> i'm going to to attack american gas and oil and energy, and you and i, at one point, when the policies don't help people but actually her people, you would think that a leader would pivot and say no, no, this isn't working, i want to make sure that my people can afford to put gas in their car to go to work to make a living for their families. >> that is right, and i have been inside tennessee county today and it is amazing that everyone are worried about their budgets and one of the counties was telling me about the price of energy impacts everything.

8-inch pipe for a water line, $4 a foot for the pipe. where it's at right now, $14.50. so all of these products from derivatives of oil and gas, you are seeing the price hikes there as well. inflation at 9.1%, groceries going through, the price at the pump, people can just not afford this. and you know, the food shortages, the fear that this is causing, the way that they are anticipating food shortages, because they know that the farmers are not planting as much this year to go into that supply chain. and they cannot afford to get

including those who like joe biden are operating in this increasing climate. the approval rating 38.4% with a spread of negative 17.7%. wow. turning us now from real clear politics, also the author of the book "come on, man." let's talk about these numbers, tom. 39%. we have never seen these numbers this flow. is this a progression that could go lower than 39% or is this a rock-bottom.

>> he is not getting good reviews from many groups, the only majority support that he has right now are self identified democrats and african-american voters. so i suspect he is pretty much nearer his floor. the bad news for joe biden and for the democrats is that when you look at his job approval on the economy, which is the number one issue bucks are in the selection, it is even lower at 35%. so he's getting very low marks across the board from the public on the number one issue that is on the minds of voters heading into the election. >> you know, i've spent a lot of time for almost 10 years, politicians care about their egos. they care about their legacy. and to think that joe biden has the poll numbers this low, not agreeing to piven and do things differently to help the american people, it doesn't make any sense to me. >> i think when you get to a certain age you are stubborn in your ways, joe biden isn't simply going to do that pivot that bill clinton did after

1994, losing 54 seats in the house, he actually said hey, i have to work with the new house speaker and have this balanced-budget amendment. they pass the welfare reform, bill clinton did so going way against bob dole. asking the last first-term democratic president jimmy carter what skyrocketing inflation does to a presidency, it slaughters that. and what should we do to lower inflation? well, he says the answers for the government to spend trillions more in order to lower inflation, greatly increasing one's power intake in an effort to lose lots of weight. double cheeseburgers, tuna tacos, milwaukee's best, trust me, it doesn't work, and history shows that the last two democratic presidents that struggle in their first term and

they were higher than joe biden, what do you think this will look like when we look at where we are right now. no question about it. >> my kids are pointing it out to me, i know what you are saying. in "the washington post" reporting today that the longest-serving aid, kamala harris, leaving next month, also her director of speechwriting is leaving after just four months. a continuing staff make over of sorts, but it isn't. what is it? >> well, joe biden lost his longtime aide, we have seen a lot of turnover in the white house, and i think that that is, on the side of kamala harris, she's difficult to work for. i think about is well known, well established, and she

doesn't treat her people very well, that's why a lot of them are leaving. also this administration is struggling. joe biden should be firing more people, shaking a people across the board in his administration is what he should be doing to get some new i energy and ideas, because everybody knows, including all of the democrats, they are nervous, they are scared to death, the administration tries to reassure them that it will be on its way down, gas prices on their way down, and i don't think the american public believes that either. >> they want to be by their most powerful number possible. and weaving positions of power underscores how bad it is. looking into the crystal ball here, how many will republicans

pick up when it comes to how seeds and also ultralow numbers would joe biden. >> if barack obama lost 63 seats in 2010, i have to believe that it is roundabout that number, at least 50 or 60. as far as the senate goes, that's more of a tossup. but in the end, i think that when inflation overwhelms everything and gas prices overwhelm everything and crime is a big issue as well and we see a border that is anything but secure, education going sideways, all of this to malt, if you are a republican senate candidate, you are making a referendum on the current president, i don't see how they can do that either if the democrats stick to that message and make sure what we have now and what things could be need to be explained. that's what i say. >> i do not support joe biden or

podcast, i have 12 little latinos at home and it was incredibly offensive, the comment, do you have to talk about tacos, but you can't talk about abortion, inflation, you can't talk choice but you can talk about tacos? is that the deal? >> democrats want to control about how we speak. we don't talk about pronouns. we are worried about crime in the community. democrats are so out of touch. they talk to us about tacos and promote open borders. we believe in the american dream, god, strong borders, opportunities for our families, i'm proud of the people who came to this great country to work hard and not to be dependent on the government.

they voted for the democrats for decades and that's no longer there democratic party. it has become too radical and out of touch when it comes to values. >> speaking broadly, the hispanic community, does that come into play as well as to why the democrats are losing the hispanic vote? >> yes, it absolutely is, we are seeing a double standard. also the impact of the bias from the democratic party that claims to support women and minorities, the moment that they realize that your conservative woman they no longer want to support you, so we received pushback like never before.

and we know that it means that we are going to win, hooting life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. we are focused at the issue and we are sending a message that our vote is going to have to be earned. >> if you are talking to kevin mccarthy on the republican committee, if you want to win the hispanic vote, what do they have to do? >> working with leadership right now, they are supporting and how it is hurting the border crisis, it is hurting our district, and we are going to see this november. the democratic party, we are

just after midnight, he noticed the flames coming from the house, he slammed on his brakes and pulled into the driveway and ran to the back of the house. he helped to rescue people, about four of them, getting to safety, and then they were told that a child was missing, so he ran back into the house, met by more intense flames. he managed to find the last child inside and then jumped out of the window. the police showed up and it was captured on an officer's body camera. ♪ ♪ ♪ 2 come with me, man, come with me. [laughter] 2 incredibly all the family members were not hurt thanks to his selfless actions.
