for current gas prices while 20% blame russia. and ukraine war and 14% blame oil companies. you put those two polls together and to me it shows president biden actually blaming russian and gas companies have been somewhat effective. but the majority of people don't care about the excuse. they want solutions. >> you are right, carley. we don't need to be in a situation begging other world leaders for oil. we need the policies in place. we need the regulations out of the way. towards the united states when it comes to production. these oil companies, they don't want to seek gas prices $120 a barrel. but they don't want to see them $20 a barrel either. it is a lot better to plan for the future when stability in the market. we are not getting that with this president. >> todd: toiled for years, decades even, trying to help our country, help america become so reliant and produce our own oil so we didn't have to rely on

foreign oil producers. how heartbreaking is it to seek all that joe biden undid in just 18 months after decades of trying to make our country self-reliant? >> would say extremely heartbreaking, but you know, my wallet is the one doing most of the crying. yesterday $200 to fill up my truck. i use diesel. that is twice a week and just 18 months, i spent half that amount. they were people in this country, especially the truck drivers, that is what they do for a living is drive vehicles. personally a letter spinning half of their income on fuel. we cannot sustain that. >> carley: president biden living in an imaginary world and the same view on the oil and gas industry as trump and keystone pipeline and didn't want to limit offshore drilling and how much lower wood gas prices be right now, in other words how much our bidens policies will pay and stream us in this area

it is hard, i think, on a broader scope the message that sends to all girls and women. they can spend their entire lives working for something, dedicate, you know, countless hours and effort, and have it dismissed as an reduce to something like a joke. there is a reason when you tell people about this nomination or the experiences in the swimming community this last year, and they laugh or they are utterly shocked. and you think, that is what all that effort and all those hours, all that hard work and the journey that was supposed to be so empowering and fulfilling has been reduced to something that people think is a sideshow, really frustrating. >> todd: i want to bring you in here, the foundation responded to lia thomas saying this: you must have forgot in order to qualify for the ncaa woman of the year award, one

must actually be a woman. there is nothing rave about competing against people who have a biological advantage. shame on them for nominating lia thomas. doesn't that continued to be the crux of the issue here and an uneven playing field? >> oh, absolutely. i mean, there is a biological difference between men and women. you know, if we can agree that that foundational truth is a reality, then how can we protect our girls and women? and you know, this nomination is not only affecting women swimmers at this point, but it encompasses all athletics. so across ports now are going to be affected. these women who have excelled, not only in athletics, but also academics and community service, these are some of the most well-rounded women in the

country. and to think that now women across different sports are going to have to directly compete with a male competitor is crushing to say the least. >> todd: there is this though, ladies, the federal judge just walking the biden administration title ix directive which aims to protect from discrimination by allowing students to participate in sports and transmit students to use whatever bathroom alliance with gender identity. again, the judge said "hold your horses, here, no-go to the biden administration." is the tide turning out that parents are waking up to what happened to their kids and what they are seeing on a day-to-day out basis outrunning our high schools and colleges? >> i absolutely believe it is turning. i mean, the more i was completely unaware we were facing this issue in our culture these days, in our society, and

told the start of this last one season. so, i think people are waking up because it's more visible. i can tell you from my standpoint, once i realized how entrenched this was, i kept holding out hope that those in position of power would be objective and honest. and decide to stand up for women, but now i know that they need a heck of a lot more encouragement. we need to put our foot down. i'm not leaving this legacy for my grandchildren end. there is no way. and i can encourage anyone who is sitting on the fence about talking about this, it is empowering, it is freeing in order to stand up and say the right thing. and to be a part of the tide changing. i do think it is really important that the federal judge came back to the biden administration the way he did. we now know it is 100% legal to enact legislation and to back

that legislation up to protect women's rights in every area. >> todd: in order to win on this issue needs the courts and how much of a win is this for you and your side and what is your reaction? >> it is something to celebrate, particularly for the 20 states involved. they all happen to be red states, get out the republican party, although her organization is nonpartisan. this issue should be a nonpartisan issue. we have women who are self-proclaimed leftist radical feminist all the way to christian conservative evangelicals linking arms together in agreement that we need to protect-based categories for women. you know, for these 20 states to step out and take a stand against the biden administration, that is a

education. schools in maryland from 2020 and the children did not have a regular school year this past year. education and ensuring we do not have disruption for his front and center. i hope voters pay attention to the downed pilots races like the education. >> carley: that brings me to esther, you are running for the public county school so your name will be on the ballot tuesday. what motivated you to run and what are you looking for and other candidates as well? >> so, i'm running because i am a mother of two boys. and elected officials in the school system had failed the children. with the virtual only option, my son lost all of his resources and significantly digressed in his school work. that is when i said my need to set up and run support of education. and also my son started in school last year in 2021, and i have yet to see the inside of the school, the classroom.

and no guidance, and i asked where that is? i reached out to the board of education, elected officials, and i have received no response. these are all culminating why i decided to run for the board of education and bring transparency, accountability. >> carley: you share that with a seed of the board of education of montgomery county. you say education and crime are the top most important issues for you. tell us why. >> so, i am a mental health professional, and i have stand for mental health and appearance of two boys. i have watched the mental health of our students deteriorate over the last two years. when we don't have, you know proper mental health within the schools and even within the communities, we see a decrease in comic you know, educational performance. we see an increase in crime here is that is exactly what we are

seeing in montgomery county schools and particularly with the first school shooting. >> carley: joe, you are voting with your feet because you are frustrated with what's going on in maryland that you are moving to south carolina. what happened? >> we had a difficult school year of the past couple of years. i have a 17-year-old, 8-year-old, 5-year-old. recently got to the point where we were fed up with the school closures. we love the city. we were born and raised here, my wife and i. we don't feel comfortable going downtown anymore. we want to place our kids to strive in school. we don't want my 17-year-old to be the one standing for the national anthem anymore. in his high school, we are looking for a better way. we have relatives in south carolina. and we decided to uproot our family and head south. >> carley: that is interesting for all four of you, covid lockdowns and what happen in schools seem to be the driving
