[laughs] it's so great! what would we do without her? kamala harris for president, 2024. have a great evening with the ones you love and in the meantime statement for sean hannity. >> sean: ending on such a great no, great redemptive story and then you show that income a word salad mess of the day. great story, we will be watching. welcome to "hannity." tonight, bravery, courage on full display. congresswoman alexandria ocasio-cortez, the real speaker of the house, congresswoman omar caught on camera pretending to be handcuffed attending a pro-abortion protest at the supreme court. you can't make it up, full coverage of the very, very heroic stance that left them suffering in police custody for about 3 minutes. i'm sure the police can expect a lawsuit.

also tonight, a "hannity" investigation into new york city's pathetic failures or protecting innocent, law-abiding people. and we have an update on the bodega worker that was charged with second-degree murder. also texas congresswoman florez, newly elected as you know, will join us to respond to numerous races, repeated racist smears against her, all coming from a woke democrat. but first, over the past 18 months, you might have noticed that joe biden and the climate cult alarmists who control him sometimes pretend they have compassion, they feel your pain. in reality they want you to feel pain. they wanted. joe promised, he's delivering. they want you to pay more at the pump, they want your energy bills to be higher, they will hot food prices to rise, they want you to make do with less all in the name of climate change. according to them the

keep in mind, the average electric vehicle in case you don't know is over 20 grand more than a gas powered cars so you're paying a lot more upfront. of course, aside from telling in potholes in south bend, indiana, by this brilliant transportation secretary doesn't really have much experience in transportation at all. remember mayor pete wasn't appointed to make our roads and bridges and airport safer and more efficient. no, he's in office to help foster fundamental transition to this green new deal socialist utopia of an economy which we now know was a disaster. which in the end is in green all. electric cars, they are not telling you this part, they don't actually improve the environment. according to a recent study the brand-new hummer electric vehicle actually produces more carbon emissions in a gas powered chevy malibu. why is that? first of the battery on an electric vehicle is typically comprised of nickel, cobalt,

aluminum and manganese, all which needs to be mined from mother earth with heavy equipment that uses diesel. second, that battery constantly needs to be plugged in and recharged. look at the chart right there. where do we get our energy and electricity come from? we don't think about it often. 80% of the power you use to recharge his electric vehicles come from oil, gas and coal. now because of the extreme cost to build and operate along with a very small energy output, wind, solar and other forms of so-called renewable energy they only make up about 12% of the power grid and they are very unreliable. ask texas for the foreseeable future. a major transition to renewables even in the near future, the next ten, 20, 50 years is likely totally impossible. in order to maintain the green energy front to this economic transition, in other words, the pain you are going to pay for,

biden is restricting american commit domestic fossil fuel production and refinery capacity while attempting to make up the deficit by importing more oil, more gas, the lifeblood of our economy from overseas. the result, an economy and environment that is suffering. oil and gas is more expensive and guess what, you import it. if it is imported from countries with environment of regulations on gas powered vessels across the ocean, the climate cult needs to answer one simple question, i wish somebody would ask joe biden or kamala harris, please ask this question: why is it okay to beg russia, import from russia, import from a rand, beck venezuela, beg the saudi arabia nation, beg the killer of jamal khashoggi according to biden, why is it okay to beg opec 4 barrels of

transition, transition. when some tells you that they are going to eliminate, get rid of fossil fuels, next time we need to believe them. even better, actions usually speak louder than words. now if it's the ice caps they are claiming are melting and the sea levels are rising at an unsustainable level, why did obama and biden, both of them just shell out millions and millions of dollars for beachfront homes? now the planet is now facing imminent destruction then why does biden special envoy for the climate john, i voted for the 87 billion before he voted against it, carry, why does he own and operate a massive private jet? i don't care that he has won, but is a hypocrite. kerry's gulfstream took 48 trip since he took office emitting metric tons of carbon, more than you will probably use in a lifetime. if it is truly a crisis why isn't john leading by example, giving up his private jet, maybe he can sell them on the free

market and get good deals for other people. but don't worry, in his upcoming international trip to the white house on the climate, a kerry spokesperson is telling foxnews.com that the climate czar might actually fly into government jet instead. that's right. in the midst of the so-called climate crisis, our federal government, your government that is putting all this pain on you and your families, they continue to own and operate a massive fleet of passenger jets that they used to ferry around all these cabinet and government officials and other government vips. all told you our federal government, they own a whopping 924 aircraft across 11 agencies, 500 planes, most of them jets, over 400 helicopters. think about it, your federal government is asking you to drive less, fly less, eat less, suffer in silence, pay astronomical rates for a gallon of gasoline, one record high after another, all because of
6:11 pm
the urgent claiming emergency and the need to transition and they jet all over the world in a massive fleet of government aircraft that you pay for and you pay for the jet fuel as well. they don't even want you out of your suv and they want you to buy an electric vehicle when it's hot and pay more gasoline than you do now. $600 million for government aircraft every single year for their private jets, for their helicopters. you buy them, you pay for them, they fly in them. but then they lecture you. let me state the obvious, climate change is not a national emergency, it is not a crisis, we are not facing imminent doom or extinction. they don't have anything to transition to. and thank god because the federal government is not doing anything to improve the environment. by the way, donald trump made us energy independent and oh, guess

what, out of the industrialized world, we reduce carbon emissions more than anybody. the real danger is the left's attempt to grab power with the hope of transforming our economy into the top down government controlled socialist hell hole, so when someone tells you the sky is falling and we have just 12 years to save mother earth but they won't produce energy domestically but they will take it from the russians and the iranians and the venezuelans and the saudis and opec, just know they are either delusional or they have ulterior motives. herewith reaction the host of "unfiltered" dan bongino along with cohost of the hit show "the five" geraldo rivera. good to see you both. even you have to see the hypocrisy here. we are going to listen to pg to pete buttigieg and john kerry, they are flying around in the jets we bought them, the jets we pay for, the jets we pay the fuel for. we've got to listen to them

6:14 pm
about it. no one country, kerry was right in that regard -- >> sean: here is the big question. do we have renewables where we could be energy independent? are they available now, is there enough wind and solar that will replace the lifeblood of our economy, oil, gas and coal? the answer is no. so why are they lecturing us? more pain, more benefit, that is what he said. >> the answer is no, so far. but if you are in puerto rico for example, where the sun shines every day, all day, it is inexcusable that puerto rico has virtually no solar power. i mean, we should transfer or change over to renewables. but we can't do it -- >> sean: but not at the expense of the short term. you know who is getting killed here? the people, liberals always claim they have a monopoly of compassion. they're killing the poor, the metaclass, people on fixed income, elderly americans.
6:15 pm
and by the way, they are telling us, joe said, we will eliminate fossil fuels but we will beg every dictator in the world for energy to be imported. how does that make any sense? >> him going over to kiss the ring of the saudis has to be one of the low points for the u.s. foreign policy in the 47 years i've been on this planet. listen, i'm a partisan, not tending to be some independent pseudo-journalist but in the most objective way possible, that was pathetic. to geraldo's point about puerto rico, you are right, it's a very sunny. i am in florida, it's very sunny too. but we have this phenomenon that occurs once in a blue moon. it's called night. at night, you don't have the son. so in order to back up the sun -- [laughter] i gave you a break for three weeks and now we are back. the problem with the night, you have to have a thing called baseload power. baseload power is typically run by oil and gas and coal. the problem with the baseload
