and as of now one senator stands in their way, the last democrat with a backbone, is it going to be kyrsten sinema? time will tell. if she does ultimately cave, that schumer- manchin $500 billion green new deal energy spending spree that they purposefully label as something it's not -- the inflation reduction act will become the law of the land and in less than two years, democrats will have added an additional $4 trillion in new spending -- 4 trillion and that includes $2 trillion, bailouts to blue states like california-new york, 1.1 trillion for their green new deal pet projects and so-called green infrastructure. now another 500 billion to appease the claimant religious cult that rules the democratic party. make no mistake, despite its name, the inflation reduction act does not reduce inflation and it will not bring down costs for anybody. look at forbes quote -- on net,

this proposal is a recipe for worsening inflation and persistent economic stagnation. the nonpartisan tax foundation also determined by reducing long-run economic growth, the bill worsens inflation by constraining the productive capacity of our economy. university of pennsylvania wharton budget model found that this bill will increase america's inflation rate over the next two years and get this. report from nonpartisan joint committee on taxation, they have determined that the majority of the tax costs from this bill will be borne by households earning less than $400,000 a year. i remembered the president promising again and again he wouldn't raise taxes on people that made under 400,000. under the bill, people making under $200,000 you will pay $16.7 billion in new taxes in year 1 and the same in your 2.
6:06 pm
they're going to get hit hard with higher taxes across that they will pass on to you, the consumer. how many times do we have to remind you? corporations don't pay taxes, people do. they pass the cost on to us. in order to squeeze the american people, some more of this bill also will more than doubled the size of the irs so that anyone can experience the joy of an annual tax audit. you will get the hannity treatment because they just pull my file, just general practices. as a result the inflation reduction act, the big lie will increase inflation and lower growth ultimately eliminate 30,000 private sector jobs according to the tax foundation. why would anyone in their right mind support this bill especially now in the middle of a recession? senator manchin, care to explain? take a look. >> americans $400,000 and below are going to be taxed.
6:07 pm
>> that's wrong, that is a lie, that is a pure outright lie. >> their taxes are not going to go up? >> not at all. >> i want to hit that tax line again, i got to hit that. are you saying that mitch mcconnell and others in the senate are wrong about those numbers and american taxes are not going to go up? >> totally, absolutely wrong. totally wrong. >> sean: fact-check, harris faulkner was right. $16.7 billion a year on people making under $200,000 a year, joe manchin clearly either doesn't know what's in his own bill or doesn't want you to trust a nonpartisan expert at the wharton business school, the joint committee on taxation on the tax foundation. they are all wrong but he is right? no. harris was right and if so are the three groups we just mentioned. he's asking you to put your faith in joe biden and the democratic socialist party. why would democrats ever lie to us? the same democrats that promised inflation was transitory, the

trust, because joe manchin is a typical democrat come he tried to masquerade as a moderate. he let the people of west virginia down. by the way the coal industry in particular will be hurt hard by this bill. he's more than happy to tow the party line especially after chuck schumer -- look at this. they sweetened the deal, amazing the things that go on in the swamp in washington. he promised to green light a pipeline project from one of manchin's major donors from west virginia to virginia. in reality no actual moderate would ever support this green new deal energy spending bill for any reason. it is totally and completely reckless and irresponsible. we did invite senator manchin on this program to defend his position, his office didn't respond to our request. he did every sunday show, why not come on here just a few minutes of your time is all we ask. it's a massive betrayal of the people of west virginia, their lives will get worse, their taxes will go up, the cost of living will continue to rise and for what?

$3 billion to convert post office trucks into electric vehicles? $2 billion for environmental justice grants whatever that means. $80 billion for 87,000 new irs agents, a boatload of money for inefficient solar panels and wind turbines that by the way won't even put a dent in our energy grid? americans still suffer because of this bill but congratulations joe manchin. you're making bernie sanders and aoc very happy tonight. here with reaction fox news contributor ari fleischer and the founder of the committee to unleash prosperity, steve moore. $17 billion in new taxes for people making under $200,000 a year. the people that said don't raise taxes during a recession, that would have been manchin, obama, and pelosi, we have them on tape we played it before. a lot of pork in this bill a lot of it related to the

green new deal two we are nearly up to $4 trillion in new debt under joe biden and under 18 months, that's got to be a new record. >> that is and you did a great job of summarizing this bill. i want to amplify one thing that you said which is the state that is the biggest loser here from this massive green energy agenda is clearly west virginia. i do not understand why joe manchin sold out his own state. he thinks somehow this is going to lead to more coal and oil and gas production. are you kidding me? with the epa and interior department of joe biden wants to kill these industries? that's not going to happen. this is the fourth major bill as you just said to that massively increases the amount of green energy funding. i calculate almost half a trillion dollars into this green energy for electric vehicles, for windmills, for solar panels.
6:12 pm
we get about six or 7% from our energy from wind and solar power, it's completely insignificant. this will hurt our oil and gas industry, it's going to give all the money to the climate change industrial complex and one other thing you left out -- don't forget the other bit paid for in this bill is these price controls on the drug industry. how are we going to have things like operation warp speed? how are we going to win the race for the cure for alzheimer's and parkinson's and cancer and als and lou gehrig's disease if we are taking money out of an industry that saves lives? i don't get it. >> sean: from a political point of view, newt gingrich had a good point. he is challenging every republican bargaining in every office for the house or senate to go back and challenge their opponents to debate just on this bill alone. i think that would be a good opportunity to get this out before people especially during the august recess but that's
6:13 pm
also going to mean republican senators will have to use parliamentary maneuvers to keep this thing afloat through the vacation, i hope they do that. >> i don't see how this is a political winner for the democrats unless they are counting on the left wing base of the democrat party that thinks the world is going to end in 12 years -- i guess we are down to ten or eight. for them no longer sitting on their hands getting out to vote because of the hundreds of billions of subsidies that are going to causes that i suppose they support to. the bigger damage too is this bill really should be named the raise taxes and pushed the economy deeper into recession acts. i have never in my entire career heard of somebody who thinks it's good public policy to raise taxes here as the nation is entering a recession. that prolongs recessions, that doesn't stimulate the economy, that doesn't give you the help that you need -- it makes things worse and why? for really what is essentially corporate welfare, this is a
6:14 pm
gigantic spending bill to give money to green corporate welfare and that's what so much of the green industry has grown up into. without subsidies they would never be competitive, they would never exist in the more subsidies you give them the more they are hooked on government. that's what this bill does end joe manchin, a moderate? no, he's a green new dealer. >> sean: is there any chance that kyrsten sinema says no? i don't believe it's possible. >> i think she could be wonder woman here, she can save our country. i'm praying that she stops this horrible bill. she would be a hero in the state of arizona if she just said no to this bill. it's bad for arizona, it kills manufacturing and arizona is a major manufacturing state. let's hope that kyrsten sinema -- it's amazing, 250 democrats in congress and only one of them is opposed to this horrible bill.
6:15 pm
>> sean: does kyrsten sinema go along with 49 colleagues or stand up for the people of arizona? >> nobody knows, i think her silence right now is telling, that would make me think she's leaning on the no side. the mirror image of john mccain, the senator from arizona who famously put his thumb down to kill the repeal of obamacare and vote with the democrats, it was a hero for doing it and kyrsten sinema who now represents arizona having a chance to come in and do the same thing on this recession causing green new deal corporate subsidy bill. of the parallel is ironic. spewing i'll believe it if i see it, count me as a skeptic. now to breaking news tonight. we are learning much more about the arrest of nancy pelosi's husband paul pelosi, at around 10:00 may 20th he was taken into police custody following a major
