angering the regime more. here to react fox news senior strategic analyst retired four-star general jack keane. general come of this administration and this democratic speaker are not on the same page but how does that make us look? >> well i think right from the beginning the reason why this thing got spun up so much, obviously there was a leak the nancy pelosi was going to visit taiwan. that leak came from this administration. somebody who was obviously opposed to it. but really what happened is when the president made the offhand remark in response to a question walking out of the room where he said while the pentagon doesn't favor or the united states military doesn't favor. that wasn't a completely true statement. they just provided some of the risks that were going on. i didn't save it as it shouldn't take place but that spun up the prc entire propaganda effort as a result of it. because they saw an opportunity here, a division in the united states government, and an
4:48 am
opportunity, possibly, that they could get the united states to stand-down the visit. that would give them a huge propaganda victory. so that's really what started this crisis and heated it up so much. >> so right now we understand bloomberg reported that the state department and white house is furious with the speaker for doing this. they try to convince her and said wasn't -- that she shouldn't do it and they get the sense that she wanted to do this for her career capstone. you know she's about to lose her job. that would be absolutely awful for personal gratification but i don't think -- i'm on the trainer should be telling us what to do. right now we understand that they have five separate exercises basically surrounding the island. and one rocket just went over the island for the first time. do you believe this is a dry run for an invasion? >> well the d-day invasion is whatever one looks at. that's an amphibious invasion and air and missile attacks. obviously likely a parachute and
4:49 am
helicopter assault on the island itself. that's a formidable undertaking. it's the most dangerous one obviously because the reality is that taiwan is in danger of losing their sovereignty. but the most likely one is actually an adjunct to what we are seeing here. and that is some kind of quarantine or quasi-blockade where you deny air and maritime access to taiwan, let selective action go through. so the population isn't starving, and put huge pressure on taiwan and its allies. this is sort of in keeping with their playbook. remember this is -- they genuflect to the sun tzu, who is the preeminent military strategist. many of which the united states follow come as i have as well pick the number one principal for sun tzu is to base your enemy without having to fight them. and that is their playbook.

at that point, migrants waited on that bus for about five to ten minutes before they disembarked that bus and were greeted by a group of ngo individuals, volunteers, who then gathered that group and took them somewhere, unclear at this point. reports that there could be a shelter greeting these individuals. but it is unclear. through broken english i tried my best to understand where these individuals were from. the majority seemed like they were from venezuela, a smattering from honduras, ecuador and columbia. all this coming, like you mentioned, in the introduction, following greg abbott's offer on mayor eric adams to come visit the border instead mayor adams at the border him and earlier today abbott's office releasing a statement on this arrival saying, quote, in addition to washington, dc, new york city is the ideal destination for these migrants who can receive the abundance of city services and

that was not necessarily appearing to be the case here. eventually they did get a stall and eventually those migrants did disembark. but, again, not a calm morning here at the port authority. we'll see where these individuals make it and again i think it bears repeating, mayor eric adams said repeatedly that the shelter system cannot handle the two to three to four thousand migrants that have arrived here in new york city on the whole. 50 more today, pales in comparison to the situation at the texas and arizona southern border where millions have arrived so far, some 7000 per day. back to you >> will: todd i know you're struggling through a language barrier and had only a few moments of access to these illegal immigrants since they got off the bus but is there any sense of what happens to them after they're intercepted by the members of that non-governmental organization? where do they go today? >> again, it appears that a shelter is going to be their next destination. i did not get a sense in that broken english that any of them
