tv   Tucker Carlson Tonight  FOX News  August 5, 2022 10:00pm-11:00pm PDT

10:00 pm
day chow down day and take a big day. a perfectly delicious day. i love my new teeth day because you're your choice today is the day everything is back on the menu. a clear choice day changesem every dayem. >> schedule a free consultation . well, good evening and welcome to a special addition of tuckerl carlson. and i'm will cain in for tucker. now c, if you want to know what is in a bill in congress and what it's actually going to do, take a good look at the name of the bill. whatever it is , you can be sure the legislation will do the exactil opposite . the american recovery and reinvestment act of 2009, for example, and led to the worst economic recovery this country had seen since world war to the so-called
10:01 pm
marketplace fairness act. it's just an internet sales tax which big companies like amazon support. why? because it helps amazon priced out smaller competitors and according to congress, that's marketplace fairness. so we should all be very, very, very concerned that congress just passed something called the inflation reduction act. it mandates hundreds of billions of new dollars in spending that will increase the money supply in thisal country and that will in turnue devalue the currency and that in turn cause more inflation. that's basic supply and demand.a butti before we get to the specifics of the legislation, keep in mindhi life is already so expensive ins this country that we literally have bread lines in major cities foxes. jeff flock to spoke toke volunteers at one food bank in camden, new jersey, who say that many people cannot afford rice and beans. nd look at all these people. this is a line that runs almosta
10:02 pm
around the block herelm. y yeah, thingsou cost more . and so people that otherwise you look people and people well dressed in line that, you know,a typically would not be at a food bank. but they are free pandemic. we a are at philabundance feedig about 90000 people per week and now we're about 140000 people for wheat, rice, pasta, beans, eans we're also finding tt finding those items for g us ist getting to be very expensiveof as well. i just want to again show stuart the line of folks here and this is all sorts of folks, are families, single people. why these people would notpl be in line to try and get some food. that's america and that's happening all across america. and you have to wonder why then the biden administration devaluing money when we have ? ead lineslue well, their justification forhe the bill is that it will stop the climate from changing. that's why the bill includes 50 billion dollars in subsidies for electric vehicle purchases, which, by the way, will lead
10:03 pm
manufacturers to jack up the price of electric vehicles. we've learned thatrr lesson from health care subsidies and subsidies for college tuition. there's also billions of dollars for the postal service to buy new mail trucks that don't pollute as much. and of course, there's one hundred billion dollars. the so-called renewable industry that includes manufacturers s of solar panels and wind turbines. so is that a good investment? let's see. right now, virtually every major renewable manufacturer is based in china trying to make that percent of c the world's solarhi panels and most of the world's windd turbines. so it's safe to say china understands renewables. but here's the revealing thing. china is not relying on those renewables for power generationo . take a look at this chart. c it shows annual carbon emissions from china, the u.s.k and europe going back to the 70s. notice t our emissions have been going down for years. china, by contrast, hasea been rising dramatically. that's's because they're not shutting down their coal plants
10:04 pm
. in fact, t they're building more coal plants than the rest of the world. combined. what that means is that china wants the rest of the world to run on so-called renewables. but china doesn't wantor renewables for themselves. and that's because china benefits financiallyly and strategically when western countries sabotage their ownwh energy supply in the name of p protecting the climate. but like any good the dealer, ye don't get high on their ownt o supply. and most americans recognize that. take a look at this recent tweet from rasmussen polling outfit people in this country care about. of course,ry things like inflation, the economy, crime, immigration,, and by contrast,gn most americans recognizes the media is far more interested in pushing false narratives about climate changemate and there's good reao for that. you'll notice none one in the media ever blames countriest like china or india for their carbon emissions, even thoughis they are the world'slu largest polluters. instead, the media blamesge americans. it's only a privileged to care
10:05 pm
about inflation as your numberth one issuee. the samehe is true of gas prices or even the idea that it's the economy, stupid.na i always found that analysis, lacking because b as a black person i don't want to get killed on the way to my job. so the i'm glad i have a job. i'm glad i make a living wage. but if i can't be alive, then what is that other d stuff? no matter. that's a television host inle a television studio lecturing inpeople standing in bread lines about their privilege. by the way, this is how the white house viewsnf inflatin as well. they're openly mocking anyone who is concerned aboutou inflation. how do you know that? well, tot? illustrate the point biden administration just approved a three hundred thousand0, grant to promote and transgender social in botswana. the daily caller is reporting that african country can expect the funds anytime soon. meanwhile, american can afford a rice and beans. obvious failure of c
10:06 pm
leadership. no one canan defend this. msnbc, they've been reduced to this. if you just lost your house because of a floodou in kentuck, if youou just lost your livelihood, because it burnt down in a wildfire, if l you just lostos your life becauy you are the wrongou color and yu are pulled over somewhere, inflation doesn't really matter or to your loved ones. there are much broader things going on right now in this country that affects so many that the dollars to send a case that has been madeen time and again about, you know, like you said, it's the economy, stupid. there's a blind spot theree and you'll notice that the majority of peopleha who mae that statement are generally white inflation, recession. that's not really what mattersic in life. if you notice footage we showed you earlier about the bread line, not a racial issue, a r inflationue hurts poor americans the most and that happens to cut across racial lines l. if
10:07 pm
so why are we really making inflation worse if it's not to p save the climate and it's notot about punishing privilegedhe americans? what's the point? here's one clue the. buried in the bill is a big giveaway to the internal revenue service. the agency stands toe.e gain 80 billion dollars from thisow legislation that will allowin the agency to hire more than 80 thousand new agents, keep in mind the irs is already wonderboy, mysteriously, heavily militarized. they've stockpiled m thousands f firearms and millions of rounds of ammunition. why does the irs need all that weaponry? why do we need to w make the irs even more powerful? exactly. we know the point isn't to investigate wealthy or powerful americans. the most o recent version of the bill keeps the carrieded interest loophole in tax now that benefits wealthyin individuals and institutions, in particular hedge fund managersst p who are some of the democratic party's biggest donors. it won't be goldman sachs
10:08 pm
doors being kicked in with irs agents with those guns now following all this build back better means doing exactly what china and hedge fund managers who make a lotndhe mony in china want us to do. what do americans get out of the deal? apparently a lot more inflation and probably i a lot more audits . ned a ryan is ceo of american majority and he joins us now. ned, we're talking about priorities. on the one hand , inflation, crime, recession on the other, and transgender acceptance in botswana. how do you explain the divide in priorities? well, i think it's very clear by their actions will the ruling classss of both parties could care less about promoting or protecting anything of the american people's interests? in int so you not only have feckless republican leaders, but you've got t the deeply d un-american left.
10:09 pm
and by that i mean the democratic party that i think is wholly intent on destroying the american way as we know it because they hate it will and they think it's evil. the ideaf of cheap energy, of national sovereignty, of fpatriotism, love of country,ig these are all backward and ignorant ideas, according to the left. and so since the dirty little peasants haven't figured out what's best for them, they will learn how to submitar as they'ro being crushed into submission between inflation and taxes and either they submit to it t will or the american people arei going to actually figure out what this ruling class is doing to them and rise up and demand new leadership and hopefully very soon. so i hear you describing a political class that in your estimation is not simply out of touch with the needs ofwi the american peopleth, but if they don't have a leader and understands this this t current economy tohe be the consequence of a grander vision, what is that vision
10:10 pm
is i honestly will if you were to take and look at the on american left, they've been wholly intent for the lastt century and now i think gettinga really aggravated at the slowness of the progress s f doing away with the old order of things. the constitution, republic, destroying all of that, destroying the old order to bring a new order in which they make the state all powerful. that's beennlhe their goal foru the last hundred years. and youro can really sense from them, will , that they theirin patience has worn thin. enough is enough. people haven't figured out what'sop best for them. we're going to accelerate that process in which the american people will submit toad the administrative state, to the unelected bureaucratsmi, to the so-called elites who are supposedly going to lead us too progress, which in fact will is nothing but a very regressive path when you t look at these energy policies, extremely regressive . i would say. in fact, if we were to allow the green new deal and all these crazyma climate changepl policies to actually be implemented, it would causess massive damage not only to thisw
10:11 pm
country but worldwide. in fact, that's an estimate that might even causeor a billin . it'sre incredible what they are trying to achieve and they're wholly intent on trying to achieve it. and you understand they're acceptable consequences when you see it play out in places like holland or sri lanka where you have seen the implications of these policies that are sooni making their way to the unitedes states of america. brian , thank. you so much.gr great to talkea to you this evening. hithanks, will . so the biden administration has repeatedly denied that it'sre buying crack pipes for addicts. pethe washington beacon decided to look into this. they actually visited so-called harm reduction sites that are receiving federal funds in the state of maine. last week, a free beacon reporter picked up a crack pipee and a meth pipe from one of these sites. it's called the church of safe injection. the reporter also grabbed a bag of doesn't crack pipes from a separate site called the main access point. patrick is the reporter with the washington free beacon "wand he broke the story and he joins us now. patrick , thank youto for joinig
10:12 pm
. so let me get this straight. you t got your hands on some crack pipes, some meth pipes from a tax funded organization g . you'veot got to be one of the to organizations in maine that are funded through this harm reduction program. now, as you said in february, they claimed the white house claim that thisdis is misinformation. this isn't true. but what we now know for sure that they say these haven't yet been used, but still these organizations set to use these funds are already distributing crack pipes across the state ofe maine. how did it work, by the way, patrick ? i mean, did you did you go in, say, hey, where's my crack pipe? how do you go about gettingou your smoking paraphernalia? so you just walk right up?mo i mean, i got right here is the fact that doesn't crack pipes always given there's three meth pipes, you just walk right. ou they have to put you into the system so you can repeatedly go there, pickther the sort of drug paraphernalia, needles and such. it's's very simple.
10:13 pm
and you know, i want ton be clear with what's going on here, this harm reduction ideology, there's no efforty, to rehab. st there's no effort to stop drug use. the whole point is to reduce harm in drug use. >> i patrick, i don't i don't know what kind abouton harmyo reduction. by the way, if you explain to me that you were providing , roin addicts clean needles i guess i could see the logic of h how it would be a harmio reduction. what is it about getting your own personal crack pipe that reduces the harm? s, yes. so these groups, they claim the pipes can spread disease. if you cut your lips, like you said, it's very on popular and the white housese message i on this has been very consistent where iton six months ago when i broke the story just now, a day after the story this week, they told me, okay, they're going to meetal individually with every single group that receives receives these federal funds. this wasn't the message before. they were just saying this information. and then there came out all the fact checks saying this is false. i don't hear anything about the fact checks anymore. clearly they're getting taxpayer dollars and clearly
10:14 pm
you crack t pipe, which by the way, i think your original communication was through text . we y t might have that text we n put up because it's absolutely wonderful where you asked for a crack pipe and your response giving from i assume thatrc the church of of, say, crack pipe smoking, that one that was made health access health at that point. yes. one hundred heart shaped eyes. come on in, patrick . get your drug paraphernalia. yeah, that's that's a text from hey, accepted. and you know, it's these groups proudly declare they're a part this federal program g and this is what the government is funding. these arere the groups. and let me just one more point here. well, this the crack pipes are just the start of this ideology. last week, the new york timesme reporteden that the bush administration is open to the idea of injection sitesw which we see in new york now only in new york city where they allow users to come ingh and use drugs. and they there's oversight
10:15 pm
on this and it's illegal drug use. and this could happencr allou across the country. etthe white house gets on board a government whose priorities will create lines pwill or cracl pipes and injection sites while ignoring red lines seems to be a government run by not joe biden but hunter biden. thank you, patrick , for highlighting this with us this morning. thanks for having me on . appreciate it. host of morning show. you say this morning tonight. i'm with you tonight herek on tucker carlson, which next we will talk about the left's love of liz cheney. she now che has plans to recruit democrats to keep her in congress. glenn greenwaldcoss will assess. plus, kamala harris punished drug offenders when she was california attorney general. so why exactly is she so obsessed with brittney griner? hyis in custody in russia. tulsi gabbard, sunspots, the hypocrite when she sees i one . straight ahead,n we you need

victim to discuss your case now eight hundred nine zero one five nine nine seven .l: you k may have heard kamala harris is not happy that w nba player brittney griner has p bee sentenced to nine years in prison inrush y griner was convicted of carrying vape cartridges containing cannabis oil when she arrived at an airport near moscow. this was back in february. now yesterday, kamala harris
10:21 pm
condemns the , quote, wrongfulye detention of griner. o now, here's what's interesting, though. when shener. was attorney gener, kamala harris had no problem ruthless enforcing drug laws in california. she personally oversaw the prosecution of roughly two thousand californians from marijuana cal possession.ua and that's inna san francisco alone inth 2019 presidentialde debate, tulsi gabbard called out kamalad and her record on stage. a senator harris says a she's proud of her record as p a prosecutor and that she'll be a prosecutorrem. but i'm deeply concerned about this record . there are too many examples to cite, but she put over 1100 people in jail for marijuana violations and laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana. id she blocked evidence, dna evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row untilil the courts forced her to do so. p she kept people in prison beyondei their sentences to use them as cheap labor for o the state of california and shet
10:22 pm
fought to keephe the system inla place that impacts poor people in the worst kind of way. >> lawyers did not like that. tulsi gabbard is a former presidential candidate and congresswoman and she joins us now. tulsi, great to see you. to add to that inconsistency, we now have kamala today condemning russia. how do we make sense of the vice president? that's a great question. will another another note of hypocrisy coming from kamala harris. this administration is , as you mentioned, how during her illustrious record as attorney general in california, you gave some of those examples. she kept prisoners in prison longer than their sentences to use them as free slave labor. yet at the same time, these very same people are condemning other countries for doingoi the exact same thing. and it doesn't make anyng sensek the thinge that struck me whenet i saw kamala harris tweeting her statement expressing
10:23 pm
outrage about brittney griner. first of all, let me say i don't think anybody anywhere in the world should be imprisoned for marijuana possession, period. per. top m when you look at kamala harris, a statement on twitter, she's expressing this outrage about brittney griner.ue my question for her and thede biden administration is where is your outrage for your fellow americans who are sitting in prison today hereau in the unitd states of america because of minor marijuana violations? how come you are not fighting as hard forrd them to be returnd home and reunited with their families a as you are for brittney griner? and to me, the message to the american people through their actions is loud and clear is that if you are richil and powerful or famous, then you will get special treatment t from this administration. ou if. you are not, we don't care about you and we're going to let youou sit there and rot in jail still. do you think that's what it, is ? it's simply sheer unadulterated elite ism or is it a reflection
10:24 pm
of kamala harris? is emptiness that she is simply willing to play to wherever the current climate stream river is flowingtr? whenen it was flowing in california to prosecute marijuana, she was happy to ride that stream.n and when it's unpopular, she's happy to go on a morning show and pretend that she listen to tupac shakur years before he ever came out and laughed along to the idea that she smoked marijuana. it seems she's an empty vessel. yeah, well well, i think it'sar both. and as you pointedij out,e the evidence really is in her record not only on this this issue, but i know there are a lot of examples on other issues where unfortunately, like tooss many politicians, itt seems like shes puts her finger to the wind w and decides what things she's supposed to be angry about on any given day . it d becomes politically inconvenient or damaging, then she'll switch the other way. we saw this.e i know health care was one issue during the presidential campaign on monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursdayda.
10:25 pm
she gave almost opposing answers on that issue, leaving even the mainstream media like the new york times saying what do you where do you stand on on health care? and so, you know,so i think it't unfortunate it's unfortunate that we have a vice president ofofst united states who doesn't appear to stand for anything other than herself. you make a great point, though,s you know, condemning russiasi fr something that the vice president has very little control while leaving americanst to suffer the punishment. those veryho similar laws right here in america where you do have control. tulsi gabbard, called her out then thank you foror inviting hr out again tonight. all right. liz cheney is down 20 points in her upcoming primary race in wyoming. it turns out republican voters in her state itate, they don't e much for lectures fromm the january 6th committee, but does turnout. liz does have one fan. her dad. he just cut an ad for her c congressional campaignam. in our nation's 46 year history, there has never been
10:26 pm
an individual who is a greaterep threat to our republic. trump is fearless. she never backs down from the fight. there's nothing more important she will ever do than lead akthe effort to make sure donald trump is never again near the oval office. and she will succeed. i am dick cheney. i proudly voted for my daughter. i hope you will too.gh i will say it's a sharp hat. so dick cheney is a big fan of his daughter. so is cnn. in fact, they think liz cheney can be president one day. you think your father is cheney want liz cheney to run for president? 2020 four. dick cheney is a big liz cheney supporter. both of us have just this realav sadness, frankly, about what's happening to our partyne and a h real despair about how could it be that so many republicans would refuse to stand up and tell the truth. and it is a scary moment for the nation or just like the wreckage reflect that. you did not say that
10:27 pm
dick cheney is not telling you to run for president in 2020 for liz cheney is countingu on support from democrats and cnn to help her h win her primary on august 16th, herhi campaign sent out this florida democrat voters in wyoming which begins, quote, how do i change my party affiliation? to register as a republican soso i can vote for liz? this would have been unthinkable a decade ago. the democrat party have alignedl themselves now with liz cheneyve and apparently dick cheney. o and what is going on here exactly? glenn greenwald is an independent journalist. his work is on substance. you can check it out and he joins us now. glenn, let's start with this idea first of liz cheney as a presidential candidate, i can't i can't find a poll, glenn, that shows he's going to winde a republican primary for congress. why is cnn floating a presidential campaign here? it'sre bizarre. will two thousand and five when i start working as a constitutional lawyer in order to become a political writer and a journalistourn at the tim
10:28 pm
the absolute liberal consensus, virtually universal, was that dick cheney wasn't just someone who was misguided, but was somebodyy who was a fascist or racist, a bloodthirsty war criminalut, somebody who had created a lawless presidency, someone who stole the 2010 election from relaxium from the rightful winner, al gore. and liz cheney isn't just his daughter. she's somebody who has been vocally defending her father's most controversial policies from the beginning and to this very day continues to she's not somebody who recanted her r support for torture and domestic spying and guantanamo and the war in iraq. she's somebody who continues to defend it. and so to watch liberals heap praise on liz cheney, nancy pelosi called her a leader of great courage, integrity and honesty is absolutely surreal. but i the motive is obvious, which is literally anybody to opposes. donald d trump becomes a hero in the eyes of democrats liberals .nn you know, you ask thattw
10:29 pm
question, glenn, on twitterit. i saw it. i wanted to bring it up and i wanted to see if i could get you to answer your own question. we have . the tweet which we can put up, i believe, which you asked what is it? have liberals has the liberal mind explored explanation of m why itan would be that the man who they called a before calling people was cool is now one of the biggest opponents to donald trump. why do you think liberals explain cheney hating trump? yeah, i think people have forgotten that in 2016 the expectation of the republican establishment was that the almostat certain winner, the certain nominee wasb going to be jeb bush. and donald trump campaigned vehemently denouncing the entire bush-cheney foreign policy worldview, not just the war in iraq, but the entire view that we should always be at war, that all of a money should go to regime change all over the world. he denounced that military
10:30 pm
thinking, imperialistic vision and somebody that's something ng tthat destroys peace inin the world and benefits only a tiny sliver of the american population, weaponsike, manufacturers and the like. and donald. trump won. and so what he basically did was expel bush ideology from the republican party by denouncing themm,. and all this is the reason, dick cheney hate donald trump and the bush family as well is because it's just petty, dynastic vengeance. itthey're angry that trump positions himself as an adversary, an opponent of their defining worldview and ideology and legacy. and heyn won the republican primary by doing that to the left. so wedded to principle. at one point, the adversary of neoconservatism aligns himself today with the originators of neo conservatismvati, the bannes of neo conservatism in order ton oppose donald trump because he was opposed to neo conservatism principled.ly glenn greenwald, thank you so much for joining us tonight.

what we told you earlier in the show about the inflation reduction act. the bill will spend hundreds of billions of dollars on so-called green energy and in the process the legislation will make inflation much worse. but in the interest of fairness, we wanted to bring y you the left wing perspectiveon on the bill. and for g thatt we go to randi weingarten. she's the president of one of the largest teachers' unions in the country. and here she was yesterday explaining why congress needs to pass the inflationpes reductr act. >> where is the education pieces here? where is the education piece? this here climate change. if we actually stop these extreme weather events, we i lok

at what's happening in kentucky right now. look at what's happening in california right now. we spend our future to our kids. this is a bill that's going to solve the issues that keep people up at night. thank you very much. >> i thought i was a hand talker. she got>> i t a lot of body engh on that. and so according to randi weingarten, the inflation reduction act isn't just going to stop inflation. it's going to stop extreme weather events. we don't even need china to stop building coal plants. all we need to do is spend three hundred billion dollars and we won't have any more hurricanes. that's coming from the head of the second biggest teachers union in the country. and you ever wondered whyde your localre public school is a mess? there's your answer. your speaking of fighting climate change. nancy pelosi seems to have messed that up for democrats. china's government just no will nothat it j j longer coordinate with the us on climate change. that'sha a big deal since china produces the most carbon emissions of any country in
10:38 pm
the world by far. ai china also said it won't help us stop drugs like fentanylng from entering the united states . so why was nancy pelosi's trip such a good idea? exactly. miranda devine is a columnist with the "new york post" and she joins us now. miranda, i don't know what exactly was accomplished here by nancy pelosi. hi , will . well, it was a fantastic boon for china because they want to do anything about climate change anyway. a hangand they're not doing anythg about fentanyl and it's just g ifa gift to president ge at a a time when he needsst a distraction from the economic woes that china has and when he's just about to basically crown himself. the new mao and have another extended term, unprecedented. and so it's all good for him.r it allows and gives them an excuse to accelerate their belligerence against taiwan. and for what?
10:39 pm
for nothing. for for basically nancy pelosi to have a victory at another o photo opportunity because shepp knows that she's going to lose in november and basically the mixed messages that that have come fromra the administration with joe s biden saying that she shouldn't go and then leaks about how she'd been advised not to go and the fact that the geopolitical situation is so precarious i at the momen. you know, we're already having a problem in ukraine. why on earth do we need this elderly woman freelancing? and it w is utterly self-indulgent of nancy pelosi p and just she is masquerading as some sort ofin a boss girl.g and really it was all about her and her legacy. i guesseggu if this was a trip about her ego, the nothing including apparently the platform of the democratic partyf arty could really hold
10:40 pm
a candle to that ego because if you're really worried about climate change, you should be worried about china and india's participation. instead, we're talking about how to control americansme choices and behavior. absolutely.eh and look, the problem is that china can see that america is the biden administration is weak and dividedn' and possibly compromised so they don't have to do anything.e they feel no compulsion to even show any kind of courtesy. and what is the point really of joe biden having a two hour plus conversationn with president xi as he seems to do fairly regularly? i think five times since he's been president when he's never he never confronts china about covid-19, for instance, and china just becomes increasingly belligerent and increasingly out of control. o
10:41 pm
and america just shows this this sort lily livered attitude comes founded by this this sort of vanity trip by nancy pelosi. yeah. compounded>> by ego. so weakness compounded by ego. and look, you, miranda, weli consider and talk about climate change, but you want toma talk, a real impact on americans. the chinese communist party has taken the role of the medellin cartel in colombia, this time with fentanyl coming out of china. and now they're saying you like what you've got, get ready for morphettville. well, exactly. and you know, there are so many issues that we should, be confronting china, but it needs to be done on a an entire administration level. it needs to be coordinated and decided and properly organized, not not having just nancy pelosi transferred there. i'm surprised that republicans were backing her.
10:42 pm
i mean, obviously, once the story leaked and once joe biden said that stupid thing he did, she had to go . but she should never have been throwing herself into the pot without coordinating with the rest of the administration. messy, uncoordinated, egotistical,l,ith and weak. that's not a good combination. miranda, thanks foran being with . no, notot at all. thanks, wolf.ne all right.w wewe have new information tonige about joe biden's meetings with the chinese officials inside tst w the west wing of the white house. what exactly did? they talk about and why? whyo has the fbi refused to investigate this meeting? that straight ahead. and you are not going to believe what i am going to show you right now when a group of women would be on flawless seconds, skims the latest biotech cosmetic breakthrough under one .

10:49 pm
200, 300. a thousand. guess what?d there's e a victim behind each t one of those crimesho. and on top of that, the newst york post also reports that just ten career criminals have racked up nearly 500 arrests since new york bail reform first began. and most of them are still out on the streets. the post obtained statistics from nypd that shown t worst of the worst repeat offenders have racked up a totalof of four hundred and eighty five arrests since 2020 with one criminal busted thirty three times since 2020 and another arrested twenty two times all this year. they say the difference definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly but expect different results. t.our criminal justice system is insane. it is dangerous, it's harmful and it's destroying the fabric of our city and will nypd statistics show the rearrest rates of burglaries and thieves

last year were as high as three times what they were back inna 2017? as criminals now know there are few, if any consequences under ultra aggressive district attorneysto. send it back to you. why not? all right. thank you, bill .ut so tonight we're learning much more about joe biden's involvement in his family's overseas influence peddling operation. according to the daily mail, which reviewed white houseit visitor logs. joe biden met with two chinese energy executives in the west wing of the white house back in july of two thousand fourteen. just four days after that meeting, the daily mail reports, quote,ne one of the executives emailed hunter biden offeringter his services r one hundred and two thousand dollars. we're willing to give him a one hundred and two thousand dollar fisker, fiskerr sports car s and inviting the vp son over for a visit. as far as we know, the fbi hasn't looked in to any of this on capitol hill yesterday, fbi director christopher wright
10:51 pm
acknowledged reports that his agency is covering up damagingg information about hunter biden. isn't it true that mr. tebow, agent tebow excuse me, and fbi supervisory intelligence covered upan otan derogatory information about mr. hunter that when i read the letter that describes the kinds of things that you'ree talking about, i found it deeply troubling. w ray is referencing a letter from whistleblowers within the fbi, the doj.er julies kelley has been on the story from the very beginning. she's a senior writer at american greatness and she joins us noww,. you. julie, i've interviewed john paul isaac, the delawarer computer laptop repairman. he has showed me he has told me exactly how little interest the fbi has had inn biden. and it seems that's still
10:52 pm
the case it after. i well,nt the only interest b they have in hunter bidenidon is how they can cover up the investigation or lack ntthereof into his laptop. christopher wray yesterday would not even confirm l l thatn the fbi has the laptop, even though reportedly they took possession of the device in december of 2019. so we don't know what's going on with that investigation. we know there's a separate tax investigation. but to whatio senator kennedy wi talking about, what the fbi is doing is covering up any sort of scandal or criminal incriminating evidence that could be found on this laptop. you had fbiffic officials go to senators grassley and johnson in august of 2020 to warn them that any reporting on biden's laptop was a russian disinformation. so they're not only bearing any sort of investigation, they're actually spinning it in a way that prevents even us senators
10:53 pm
from looking into the contents of that laptop. really? and christopher reeve is he was deeply disturbed by it. f i mean, who is running this agency? he is he's fully aware of it.t. and he was highly evasive during the senate before the senate judiciary committee hearing yesterday. you know, julie, when you think about it and we begin tonight's show talking about priorities, when you think about the priorities of the fbi, what are we supposed to make of this law enforcement organization? on one hand , ant as you point i not just varying but spinning the hunter biden investingd and on the other hand , lookingg into quote unquote domestic terrorists and identifying them. this is according to project veritascc, identifying them by symbols like the betsy ross flag or to a four secondnt amendment. this seems to be the fbi's priority. ty it is . i mean, christopher wray is extremely knowledgeable about the events ofuts january six , which he designated an active domestic
10:54 pm
terror. get this? well, he told senator tom cotton yesterday that the fbibi was too busy. they were too overloaded to investigate a single pro-abortion activist who wasio demonstrating violating federal lawla, demonstrating outside the homes of amy barrett and brad kavanaugh. violating a law dealing with picketing and parading outside a federal judge's home the very next day. today, less in. f twenty four hours later, hisbier fbi arrested another m man from kansas, charging him with parading and picketing in the u.s. capital 19 months ago. thisol. is such an egregious double standard of justice. the hunter, bidendada and biden family investigation is just one part of it because this fbi has been weaponized. and politicized. it is an enforcement armrm of the democratic party interested in the betsy ross flag. thisic p p interested in potentl corruption at the highest levels of american government. julie kelly , always great to
