[laughter] it was inflation, then claimant, then health care, then tax policy, than client. this has more faces than nancy pelosi. but, they do this so they can keep you off the scent, overwhelm you. i don't think this bill passed: it just door everyone down. we have a hard time following this. spending bills are like cell phone plans. so many options, directions, false flag. we can't figure out the better cell phone plan. are you a lawyer? >> no. thing and label it with complexity so it keeps all the sides busy. the fact that they are adding all these irs agents shows you the feedback loop. it shows you how they pay for their fantasy. one app of the bill are the fantasies, and the other half has to steal to pay for it. it's like a never ending system, a configuration that can go on forever. anytime you want to put more money in, you just hire more irs agents. americans don't need a doubling of the irs. crime is out of control. it's easier to go after white-collar criminals than people who shoot back at you. these are the people we want to put away. they are just going to say "i don't have the money to pay lawyer fees, i will just give what i can. >> is this the future was

insulation -- is this the future of legislation? >> this is what we are used to. everything is not as it seems. this whole administration is about "don't believe your lying eyes. just because it makes sense to you doesn't mean it's true." i think they should call it the election subduction act. what they are doing is trying to convince americans that this will help you with inflation. won't have any impact on inflation, and just like the president said, he just said you will have more money to pay your bills. hogwash. prices of everything are still the same. 41% of 1%, or whatever it is.

inflation, and this ranks down near the bottom. how can the democrats say this is a win? >> i have a slightly different view. [laughter] >> joe manchin, your colleagues -- these two big democrats have long been opposed to the build back better act. he thought that inflation was a driving force. he was an arbiter of this bill. either he is a liar, fibbing a bit, or is concerned with inflation larry summers was a huge critic of spending, even back during the covid area. he has decided that this bill satisfies many of his concerns

that they won't have that upward pressure impact on inflation. i have to tell you, if bernie sanders is on one side of something saying there's not enough money being spent, and -- i'm a moderate democrat. that's where i want to be at. if they turn out to be wrong, we should admit that they are wrong. this bill does four things. it lowers the debt $300 billion. it lowers drug costs. one of the key drivers in households all across this country are the cost people to pay for drugs. my son had a prescription this weekend. thank god i was able to afford it. that's what they are trying to do. two, it increases domestic -- production. it does a lot on climate change, but there's also no way that joe manchin would not want more coal, fracking, drilling. >> there is room for nuclear as

well >> this is perhaps not enough. this increases taxes on the wealthiest americans. we can disagree with that. >> they had to pay for some of this. >> what are we going to say now -- raising taxes. >> you may be in this category. >> you were invited to this house? >> this infrastructure bill, and now you have to do other things. you are on a roll, don't let up. >> we are on a roll, we are the meat on that sandwich. harold, i'm going to crush you right now. that is whatever, the clean energy bill. what did we get?

and take $1,000 in products come up to, and just keep getting away with it. the saddest part is we take someone like alexandria ocasio-cortez and say that she should be the voice of reason in law enforcement and crime. she's know nothing about crime or law enforcement. this is a woman that has no background in this, and for some reason got all the attention, and now we have a woman complaining when we have a 57% increase in crime in new york city. people are leaving the nypd in droves. they aren't even waiting for their pension. they just want to get out. police are demoralized, dehumanized. oh, what we have in our country

is a continued fight, but with more and more people becoming victims, there is going to a movement very soon where people will say "i've had enough." ron desantis, good for him. he doesn't know what it means to be a prosecutor. you prosecute crime, protect the victims. these people know nothing of it. >> not only are major felonies up, but homicide is up 44%. the defund the police movement has decimated communities, many of which are communities of color. do you think democrats will pay a price for this november? >> we could. probably not going to continue on this issue. police officers need to be funded. reform of obey all laws needs to happen again. the instinct of those law reform

was -- nonviolent criminals spending more time in jail than they would if they were convicted of the crime. what's happening here is the exact opposite. might have seen this in our local newspaper. one of our top police officials, a guy named jon miller, he said that the bail reform laws would set new york city back a decade, and that needs to change. you see these guys, including one to your left he's one of the great advocates to address this mental health issue on the streets. not only in new york -- but a preponderance of our challenges in the east core door. democrats and republicans alike. there are no amount of -- building back better that will make this work right.

the good to me, it seems that the gist of dumb i could give democrats a pass. the democrats seem to get a complete pass for most of the media on crime. >> are you saying that the media is biased? israel than here in new york city. i looked at her website, or press releases. she has not put out a release in a year about crime in new york. the only thing she said about crime -- if you look at what she said when mayor adams said she wants to hire more police, she said "violence, i don't need people committing it. i also mean the system and power committing it against the people." if you are a convicted felon or someone out there not convicted yet, you are a victim of violence by the racist and capitalist system of america. that's how she sees things,

-- everyone is a victim of the american system. >> it seems to me that when you think about where we are on the issues -- prosecutors not prosecuting. so many big cities, especially california, your home state, they have lost their minds. >> i will definitely bring it up to her at the wedding. [laughter] you know what's great about aoc? she's wrong on everything, but enforces everybody to do their homework. she comes out, says something wrong, and then we have to do the research. she will say that crime isn't happening -- the statistic of 57% has gone up since she has been in power. that came from a "new york post" article.

♪ ♪ americans are still reeling from covid lockdowns -- the country's biggest teachers union which pushed her kids to be remote now has the audacity to blame the mess on republicans. saying that "conservatives are consistently working to undermine leaders in this country. they are in the same point that we are between fear and hope, aspiration and the fair, democracy and hypocrisy. they are doing it because our members worked hard during covid." here's what actually undermined educators: the billions of dollars of covid cash that schools have not used. senator tim scott pointing out this "wall street journal" op-ed, saying that they had only spent 7% of $122 billion. senator, i will go right to you.

93% of that money is where? >> sitting there doing nothing. >> let me ask you one more question. do teachers have the money? do unions have the money? >> schools have the money. my bill takes the money from the schools that are doing nothing and puts it in the hands of parents. if we are the party of parents, we have the parties -- and the kids get a better education. if we don't get that right, nothing else will matter. i can't understand why the democrats -- refuse education, number one, and number two, while you have 100 million plus dollars sitting on your books, and cannot use it -- for what happened in the pandemic? more charter schools.

the power of the system for one purpose: the child. >> it's almost like a grant. i had to spend that money, use it. why not here? >> the way the money came out, it wasn't in our hands. the fact of the matter is that it's one time money. we should take some of this back since it's not being used and reappropriated for parents. think about it, the learning lost over those two years could cost our country over $2 trillion in the lifetime earning of our students. we could erase much of that by simply putting resources where they are needed most.

domestic terrorists? we are being told that's what parents are. what they were objecting to most of all was scrutiny, the ability of parents to look carefully at the product that their children -- the union resents that. in a way, the union is like a big, fat seal on a popular tourist work. it doesn't have to go get its food on its own: it just -- people just throw it food. it doesn't have to work, be competent. that's the union. it's a big, fat, flabby disgusting seal which is doing nothing to help children. once you see that, it means that competition is around the corner. this is a great lesson for liberals, progressives, democrats. if you want something good, you have to have something to compete with it.

and there's no competition, you end up with an aoc who, as nancy pelosi once said -- "than a cup of water." you suck because you don't have competition. >> what about the fact that they called parents to mystic terrorists, parents who cared -- who called them domestic terrorists? >> in a way, it was a blessing that we started to understand what was going on in schools. >> i could never feed another seal for the rest of my life. [laughter] >> sending jesse jr. to public school, his homeroom teacher tells him to come out of the closet, and his history teacher calls him a white supremacist. >> i would be jesse sr. calling that parent-teacher conference -- and i will be bringing may be you, my lawyer, to make sure they know what is appropriate and isn't appropriate to talk about with my families.

we are not undermining teachers. they are undermining my family. work harder than the firefighters. all of those essential workers that had to actually show up to work every day. they zoomed in for almost two years. they probably call it winter break or winter solstice instead of -- stop acting like they worked that hard. then they held us hostage and basically said they would work until "you send us the money --" they also want a participation trophy for not participating's. most workers you judge by their work products, their results. if you do that, have they delivered any good results? no, test scores are going down. permission to make an analogy, greg? this would be like the workers union working every other day, then putting out cars that don't run and break. they are making bad cars!
