♪ ♪ >> kayleigh: hello, everyone. happy monday. this is "outnumbered." i'm kayleigh mcenany, and joining me today, carley shimkus, kennedy, lisa boothe, and pete hegseth. the biden border crisis is turning into a real free-for-all in new york city. migrants including those best in from texas lined up over the weekend. check this out, this is outside a hospital in the bronx. they lined up to get free

phones, free health care, school supplies, and more. this great giveaway, all at taxpayer expense. it comes as new york city schools prepared to enroll 1,000 illegal immigrants to the upcoming year. "the new york post" calling it "the land of the free." interesting front cover there, pete. i want to juxtapose the statements that muriel bowser of d.c., where there have been 7,000 illegal immigrants sent, with mayor adams of new york city. there have been 900 illegal migrants there from texas. check out would have to say. bowser, "this is the tipping point. our service efforts have become overwhelmed." sounds like someone from texas or arizona. adams, "if we don't get these urgently needed resources we may struggle to provide the proper level of support our clients deserve while also facing challenges as we serve both a rapidly growing population and new clients who are seeking

asylum." interesting he called them clients. >> pete: that's a new one. two mayors of sanctuary cities complaining about the ultimate manifestation of that policy. at first i thought the bussing of migrants -- i should say illegals, i think it falls into a trap by saying migrants. these are folks that broke the law. they have a legal status of asylum but it may not be a legitimate claim. it's usually not based on the laws of our land. i thought it was a gimmick to us, but it's been very effective to highlight the reality of what happens most of the time in the middle of the night in the dark, on planes, flying these illegals across our country. who are then in need of services. and in a sanctuary city, you reap what you sow. this is what you ask for and it's what arizona and texas have been dealing with, now they'll be enrolling their kids in public schools, crowding out an opportunity for taxpaying kids, and they will be in their new country by the schools, telling them that the country you fled

9:04 am
even though some democrats really feel compassion toward the plate of the illegal immigrant are going to be upset with that, "wait a second, i'm paying all these money in taxes and i'm not getting a free phone." when it comes to blind compassion turning into a dangerous policy, it's what's going on in our southern border. pete mentioned the 65,000 known got-aways. it's people on the terror watch list that we don't know about. record numbers of sentinel, as well. the drug cartels making money hand over fist, and the people at the southern border, the taxpaying americans at the southern border feel complete forgotten. they don't support these policies. so republicans are smart, they would play that video of border patrol opening the gate and letting the illegal immigrants into the country voluntarily. they would play that video on a loop and campaign ads. >> lisa: there are a lot of dangers that come with illegal

immigration. the article i read, they were saying, "i want to come here and work." there is a legal way to do that, kennedy. but the terror watch list, you look at the fact that there have been 4.6 million encounters on the southern border since biden took office. as a mom, the fentanyl issue terrifies me. this chalk that essentially looks like the chalk i play with on the sidewalk with my daughter. but it is fentanyl and it's pouring across the border. as bill melugin points out, it is exponential numbers. thousands and thousands that they are obtaining of this at our southern border. >> kennedy: the fentanyl crisis is really —-dash i no you are scared about chuck, i have teenage daughters and a terrifies me. because fentanyl is curing people who are not active drug users. it kills people who are experiment and for the first time. they go to a college party, they think they're going to do a line of coke, and they end up dead. that's terrifying, that you asked about the federal laws, it

is such a confusing system. if you map out what it takes to immigrate to this country legally, it's almost impossible. so hopefully this will put some pressure on congress to at least simplify things so that people know, if they want to come here and work for a while, they should be able to do that and go back home. but the complicated system we have incentivizes people to come here and to stay because they don't know, if they leave, if they'll ever be able to come back again. i think that's been one of the massive failures of the vice president, and i'll say it over and over, she's had the opportunity, having been a senator, to work with congress to pass laws to simplify our immigration system and make it better, and keep people safe. >> and teenagers who think they are ordering adderall or think they are ordering xanax, making one mistake, and in doing so, dying on the cross of the southern border, it's a huge issue. also, compassion. it is the guise the left uses.
