care of our daughter on this issue. they mentioned when we were in the situation that it was also because of our catholic christian beliefs, and when i questioned them about the lack of parental notification in this case, they said that there were confidentiality issues that prevented them from telling us about it. >> sean: wait a second, who are they to tell you that you are unfit and then say that they are more fit to guide your daughter in such a controversial way? who do they think they are? >> well, certainly they think that they are the parents. we were completely erased from the picture. until my daughter attempted suicide. that's when they decided to

notify us about what was going on. >> sean: okay, let me ask you, bernadette, you would think in a motion to dismiss that they would say it did not happen, that is not in their motion to dismiss. as a matter of fact they can see that the alleged facts are true arguing that they had no duty under the law to inform the parents, so isn't that an admission that they did it, did all of it even though they denied it publicly? >> well, they are not able to deny the facts because the facts happened as we have described. and they are attempting to assert a nonexistent rights of privacy for minor children against their own parents. that is not existent rights and sean, what is most important for your viewers to understand is that the nightmare that this family has experienced is set to become the potential nightmare

of families across the country. as you know, i am sure, sean that the biden administration is seeking now to change the rules that apply title ix, the civil rights law in 1972 that is sure that girls would have equal access to education and sports opportunities. they now want to expand that through regulations to include gender identity. what that will do you is that it will force as a federal mandate that every school has to adopt the tenants of gender ideology and immediately affirm any child who asserts a gender identity contrary and school socially transitioning school at the women and children at school and a requirement of notification or consent of parents. in addition, so that is going to place children in harm's way and why? and i am sure you know, because children that are socially transitioned are very, very likely to move on to then

surgical and chemical changes to their bodies while they are still developing. this will interfere with their physical development. it leads to treatments that and in fertility and lifelong dysfunction. and finally perversely it will harm girls. because girls will no longer be able to demand their private spaces and be exempt from males and they will have two forced to compete against biological males and sports. this is devastating. we have until september 12th to go on to the federal registry and flood them with comments as to the harms it will cause to either delay this massive nonsense or to set a motion things that will allow other parts of the argument to shut this down. >> sean: thank you for being with us. more "hannity" after this. ♪ ♪
