them on these floating motels. a similar one to the "uss george washington" where they had a record number of suicides just recently. so, these -- our leaders in the pentagon have got to take action. they have got to reevaluate this order. like i said, if it made sense before, it doesn't now because it doesn't stop the spread. >> carley: tomorrow marks one year since 13 u.s. service members were killed in kabul, afghanistan. and i understand that you are one of several republicans vowing to lead the charge in honoring their sacrifice. how so? >> well, you know, i pray that we flip the house in just a few months and we'll get down to business in terms of accountability. will those 13 gold star families whose sons and daughter were put in impossible situation to oversee an evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people at the same time defending an

airport in the middle of four million people with the taliban surrounding them, they deserve accountability. they deserve their questions to be asked and answered. i talked to a number of them. they are furious. one of them, as she was talking to president biden said, you know, she was talking to the man who was responsible for her son's death. it's just unacceptable. and, guys, we have veterans groups who have not let this go. they have exhausted their savings. they have left their jobs in terms of these veterans groups that are determined to still get our people out, our americans and our allies who were left behind. they deserve answers as well. we're going to get them. we are going to have investigations. what those investigations exactly look like is still being determined, but it has to have oversight of the state department, the defense department, and the intelligence community so they can't point to each other and blame each other
