"jesse watters primetime" starts right now. jesse? >> jesse: thank you, bret. >> bret: on time. >> jesse: fox news alert. americans can rest easy tonight knowing that two dangerous criminals are off the streets and are heading to prison. no, they didn't kill anybody. they didn't rape, they didn't traffic drugs or underaged kids and, no, they didn't get loaded and wreck their porsche. they found ashley biden's diary and they tried to sell it. according to the department of justice amy harris and robert kerrlander pled guilty today to, quote: conspiracy to commit

interstate transportation of stolen property. it has to be the least used federal statute on the books. buff the diary was never stolen. ashley biden abandoned it. she left it under a mattress in a florida halfway house where she was recovering from her sex and drug addiction. i have a legitimate question: why don't the biden kids ever clean up after themselves? did they grow up with maids? hunter is leaving his laptop at repair shops and his crack pipes in rental cars, ashley is just ditching her diary around a bunch of drug addicts. this is the sloppiest family i have ever seen. it's almost like they want to get caught. talk about daddy issues. we don't have time for that tonight though. but the doj doesn't care. they are making it seem like these two people broke into the biden family beach house and stole it out of the wig guys safe. they accused harris and kerrlander of crossing state lines with stolen property and using encrypted messaging app. to communicate with journalists.
4:02 pm
oh what's app. or facebook messenger. billions of people use a cross the world. these people aren't russian hackers that's what merrick garland wants you to think. listen, these people aren't totally clean. they are getting high. they find a diary. they try to shop it for money to buy drugs all before an election. they shopped to a bunch of outlets. no one wanted it. and eventually ended up at project veritas. james o'keefe wanted it and he was suspicious though and needed confirmation that this was the real deal. so the duo went back down to florida to find more evidence to corroborate it. o'keefe paid 40 grand for it but never even ran the story. next thing you know, the fbi raids his house. and, listen, the diary would have been a big october surprise had anybody run with it. it's full of dirt on the first family and in it ashley wrote about being hyper sexualized in her youth saying quote i
4:03 pm
remember having sex with friends at a young age and showers with my dad. probably not appropriate. quote, unquote. do you think joe wants that out in public? around election season? no. but the fbi is acting like this was a matter of national security. here's the "new york times." since the investigation began nearly two years ago, federal investigators have moved aggressively carrying out court authorized searches at the homes of two former project veritas operatives and the group's founder james o'keefe. you know what hot lead they weren't aggressively pursuing? hunter biden's laptop, which actually was and still is a major matter of national security. instead, the fbi did everything they could to bury it. whistleblowers just blown the lid off the entire hunter story saying the fbi leadership was actively doing everything they could to cover it up. telling agents not to investigate the laptop until after the 2020 election.
4:04 pm
didn't the american people deserve to see what was on the computer before casting their vote? i guess not. because the cover-up didn't stop there. it was a full-court press. after fbi leadership kept everything hush-hush at the bureau, they turned to the social media giants. we know that twitter wasted no time in silencing the story but that wasn't the fed's only target. watch this. >> there was a lot of attention on twitter during the election because the hunter biden story. >> we had it that too. >> you censored that as well. >> we took a different path than twitter. basically the background here is the fbi, i think, basically came to us, some folks on our team and was like, hey, just so you know, you should be on high alert, we thought that was a lot of russian propaganda in the 2016 election. we have on notice that basically
4:05 pm
there's about to be some kind of dump of similar to that. so just be vigilant. i think it was five or seven days when it was basically being determined whether it was false. the distribution on facebook was decreased but people were still allowed to share it. you could still share it. you could still consume it. >> when you say the distribution is decreased. >> it got shared. >> how does that work. >> basically the ranking in news feed was basically less. fewer people saw it than otherwise. >> jesse: told facebook the hunter atlanta russian. full assault. the fbi is weaponized now. they work for joe biden. how can we trust anything they do. brett tolman is a former u.s. attorney and executive director for right on crime. we didn't know this before, bret. we thought facebook took it upon
4:06 pm
themselves to suppress the story. we assumed the fbi lied to twitter and told twitter this was going to be russian disinformation coming down the pipeline and zuckerberg just confirmed the fbi lied to him and got him to suppress this thing before an election. >> well, the thing about the fbi that very few, unless you have been in the criminal justice system understand, is they have had decades of being allowed to lie. and, in fact, jesse, legally, they are able to lie. that is written into the law that the fbi, when it's engaged in investigations, can lie to individuals and you see what lack of accountability amend transparency of the law allowing them to do these tactics has produced. >> you are allowed to go to one of the richest men in the world who runs the biggest social media outlet before an election,
4:07 pm
and lie to him to get him to suppress a story to change an election? >> if they have in their decision-making decided that the greater good is an investigation of donald trump or of conservatives and a dangerous policy and they believe that they have certain statutes they can investigate as a part of that, there is nothing that can prevent them right now in the law from boldfaced lies. that's why you see things like outrageous conduct that's happening in relation to the fbi and surrounded by, you know, additional people that they utilize, you know, in their investigations informants, et cetera, who also lie. because they have grown accustomed, without being held accountable, for that kind of activity for decades. >> the craziest part about this
4:08 pm

4:09 pm
but, they are going to release this thing with a whole bunch reef dactions. the judge is saying an unredacted version is going to harm the integrity of the ongoing investigation. you know the judge is biased against trump and likes the epstein team, so take it for what that's worth. if they say it's going to reveal the identities of all their snitches. okay. so, in other words, we're not going to see much of anything. it's going to be mostly blacked out. it's going to be as black as governor ralph northam's face. so, what are they trying to hide? did they bug the home of the former president while they were there? well, we won't know. if they spied on muhammed ali, marilyn monroe, albert einstein, martin luther king and frank sinatra, you don't think they are going to bug trump for the second time? they have been using the same spy tactics for years. seconding out secret units of break-in artists to bug a place like nothing. according to investigative reporter ron kessler, they have
4:10 pm
been dragging their targets out of their homes by offering them bogus free trips and dinners and even faking nearby traffic accidents. and when the house is clear, they will put up fake house fronts and bushes so they can sneak into their homes. and if there are dogs on the property, they will tranquilizer them. if they go through all of that to bug a place, you really don't think they will do the same at mar-a-lago? ron kessler has been investigating the fbi for years and he is the author of the secrets of the fbi. so, if you were donald trump, and you got back down to palm beach when the season started, you would sweep the place for bugs, wouldn't you? >> well, if the fbi did bug mar-a-lago, nobody would know about it. i mean their methods are so sophisticated. of course they wouldn't do it during a search, especially given that trump was watching it all on video. they would do it in the middle of the night. it would be using those tactics that you just mentioned and many

others. they would defeat these surveillance cameras. absolutely nobody would know. but, you know, given the level of classification that we are talking about here for these documents, beyond top secret, beyond sensitive compartment, that could very well include the plans for counter striking against russia in the event of a nuclear attack. that's something that's part of the football program, which i have written about, where the president chooses options from these documents on how to respond. he has to respond within 20 minutes to prevent annihilation of the united states. that's one item that could be in these documents. another is our penetrations by the cia of foreign embassies, of foreign leaders like putin, as well as recoupment of spies overseas. so, we are talking about
4:12 pm
incredibly valuable secrets that the russians, of course, would have been after. the russians would have been trying to penetrate mar-a-lago day and night. and very possibly did recruit spies to obtain these documents. >> steve: ron, you are saying that they could be there. we have no idea if they are there or not and we will never know and, at this point, based upon all of your reporting and the report we just did at the top, you can't trust these guys because they lie and they plant evidence for a living. and i know you have a lot of sources at the bureau but, ron, it's gone too far. they just interfered in the last election. and they are interfering in this election. >> you are absolutely right. that they lied and they were corrupt. under jim comey, as well as some of the other examples you mentioned going back to j. edgar hoover. but i think since trump's appointee as fbi director came in, there has been no real evidence of any corruption going on.
