about the biden administration's role in the raid and how the justice department justified the search. but meanwhile facing a deadline to refine illegal arguments and the request for a special master to review the evidence gathered in search of mar-a-lago. guys, a judge said the attorneys say what trump is asking for in the motion, ashley, todd appearance but former fbi special agent jonathan t gilliam. great to have you always. will we learn anything useful today in this affidavit that quite frankly will be sharp? >> i hope you have seat belts so you can buckle because this is the truth. first of all, i don't think you will see anything from the doj that the doj doesn't want you to see who paint a picture of the doj doing something that was justified in their eyes. i think in the period of time that has been since the raid occurred, you have seen talking heads that we know are part of the democrat party, which the

doj is highly left us. so, those people have been going out and planting the seeds for what is going to occur. and this is a repeating cycle of behavior that the fbi and the doj has put forth every single time they deal with donald trump and in the issue, whether they made it up or create a false evidence or in this case took out a warrant and carried out a raid on mar-a-lago. every single time they follow the same precedents and behavior. >> ashley: jonathan, if the doj found something that they thought should be brought to light, don't you think we would have heard about it by now? >> i think so. let's look at the facts that we know. we know and nobody has talked about this, that mar-a-lago was used by the president as his alternate residence from the

white house. like every other president that has been in recent history, that means that mar-a-lago was ra rad or top-secret or information that needs a security clearance. if that is the case and the fbi went there before, if there was anything that they knew that was top-secret sei or highly desirable for foreign entities to get, it is secured in that location but the other thing we need to look at is the fact that if information is walking out ts/sci and now discovering it, that says tremendous amount about failures and document control in this government. so, i don't think there was an emergency situation based on what we have seen in the context that they had before with trump and his lawyers. so, if that is the case, the way this warrant went down was not warranted and should not have gone down like that.

>> todd: do you trust this judge to make sure these reductions are "narrowly tailored as possible?" do you think he will follow that standard? >> i don't trust anybody in the justice system when it comes to dealing with trump. i think what we can see is we look at bill barr, for instance, telling the american people that he is tired of hearing that they don't trust the doj and the fbi. let me tell you something. if i had done what they did in the russian collusion fake evidence scandal, not only would i have probably been charged for criminal action if i hadn't have been, i would not have been able to go in front of a jury or judge again in my career as an fbi agent would be over. but when we look how trump has handled and how these cases are handled with trump, you can't

trust anyone or the information that comes out. i don't have a squad is still together that handled before the russian collusion, how they were involved with this. none of that should be happening. and it is a clear show of political force that is repeating, even mark zuckerberg said he sees patterns of the way that the fbi deals with him and information that he has told the sensor. so these patterns are there. >> ashley: jonathan, we walked to get to that now. to your first point, hopefully we get some answers that we need later today, but i think a lot of people think it will be a big nothing burger with -- we will see though. mark zuckerberg made a shocking indication about the fbi this week. take a listen. >> there was a lot of attention on twitter during the election because of the hunter biden laptop story. so, you guys since her that as

don't see anywhere else when i was in the fbi that we would approach a private company and say, "hey, we think this will go down and this is the way you should behave." i think what was happening there is that they were literally asking facebook just like they did with other social media companies to do the bidding of the united states government to censor people. and that is a first amendment violation because when they do that and they agreed to it, they are acting as agents of the united states government. and that is what occurred. >> todd: here is what facebook is telling fox news, "we didn't walk "the new york post" story. we temporarily reduce distribution to give fact-checking partners time to review it." regardless of how they spin it, this was election interference. can the american people trust the fbi going forward to not interfere in future elections

mainly the big one that is coming up in november? >> no. and i tell you all the evidence that you need to know is that every time there is an election, some great, mysterious tragedy or crime or legend crime occurs that has to do with trump. trump is not running for anything right now. but the fact is the democrats will do whatever they can to mess with an election. as we see members of the doj and the fbi are intimately involved in these things because they consistently take part in this entire pattern of behavior. for other fbi agents to come on any network and say that the fbi is just told what to do by the doj, i think all we have to say is peter strzok, le lisa page ad you will see they willingly participate in all of this. >> ashley: okay, jonathan

disservice to the neighborhoods. it's a challenge to light from the pit of we have seen throughout the country. and we have seen countless victims that have suffered not just the residents that we serve but also where police officers who are faithfully serving the community. >> ashley: rick how long has this been coming to a boiling point, would you say the last year or two years, how long? >> of five back-to-back back years of homicides, stabbings and other assaults. we have been warning for what was coming for the last three years. really raising a lot of red flags and trying to get the attention of our politicians in charge. so we simply strip shrugged it off. and only those record levels of violence but disproportionately impacting and marginalizing our communities, specifically within indianapolis. nearly 80% of homicide victims are fellow black neighbors. and we still hear about black

lives matter and the attempts to defund the police, abolish the police and demoralize the police. here we sit with these outcomes and the officers have said, enough is enough and rose up, this is why we stand for our fellow neighbors and they conducted these votes, and these votes occur and spoke loudly, clearly, concisely. another question is, what are the next steps? >> ashley: what are the next steps? i know it's for as would want that prosecutor out. he was appointed and outvoted in since the recall where you are. the ultimate recall would be the elections this year. so what do you foresee happening? >> we have had a lot of folks who have seen other major cities to recall their prosecutors. we don't have that available to us in indianapolis. what we have said to the voters the ultimate recall is forthcoming. that is the upcoming election. he is in a contested race was cindy carrasco with a campaign

safety officers. so do you think the relationship is so strained that there is no going back to this or are you just hoping that he will lose in november. >> what we know is this, we saw a response from the bar association and the same associations that we try to engage and get them to come on the table to point to solutions. for three years now they and many others have refused to do so. we welcome them to the discussion. the poem is hundreds upon hundreds have died in the interim. there are solutions that are available to us. that is simply closing the revolving door of criminal justice. we watched him in time against folk step into the communities that are repeat violent offenders. that is what we are talking about here, serous repeat violent offenders getting little to no jail time and sweetheart bills from prosecutors focused on being a protester. the prosecutors focused on being a public defender. a prosecutor is more focused on

over the airport, and there were 25,000 people on the tarmac standing. and the u.s. military decided that they couldn't do anything else with it. so, they started filling up c-7 and see-17s and started taking them off of the tarmac, you know basically bringing them into all the different bases and eventually they ended up in the united states. so those are not the people that actively supported us there. they are not the allies that we should be supporting. most importantly, you know, august 31st, once we completely pulled out the department put out a public statement that anybody should use any means at their disposal to make their way to a country that has the u.s. embassy so they can be processed there. but they have failed on that promise completely. a year later we find thousands and thousands of gun stranded across the world in different countries that were brought at

times by the u.s. military, the u.s. embassy. we see people in the uae stuck here in a prison situation and camps. we have people in iran, people in turkey, people in uganda, people in, you know, all across africa and tunisia. in a country that you could possibly -- we have people in ghana and people in brazil. mexico. so all of those people are stranded. it is one thing to say, echo, we cannot effectuate people from afghanistan. but it is another thing to fail miserably and even effectuating those people who are outside of afghanistan and have all their paperwork in order. it would be very easy for the justice department to kick them out. >> ashley: safiullah, thank you for being with us this morning and all of this information you gave us on this number we really appreciate it.
