>> sean: first, got to get a lot of credit, you very quickly went right for the wrists. as a martial artist, i respect your quick response buried was she would have used the left hand, but the fact that you acted that quickly prevented him from sticking that knife -- he could have hit your carotid, he could have hit your heart. we may not be having this discussion today, you did a great job, i congratulate you. >> thank you, sean, and i also give a lot of credit to the seven, eight, nine, ten other people who instantly within a few moments came to the stage and tackled this attacker. law enforcement was there just a couple minutes later and they arrested the guy. a lot went right in the response. when i saw him lunge at me with that weapon in his hand, he was going towards my neck area, i just instinct if we went right up to grab that wrist, and i just needed to hold it for a few moments until that group came in. >> sean: i got to tell you something, we are looking at it from different angles as you speak here.
6:02 pm
this was an assassination attempt. last night you predicted he would be let out on -- let out with no bail, and sure enough, a guy who's trying to assassinate a sitting congressman, a gubernatorial candidate, is let out on his own recognizance. no bail whatsoever. now, this is insanity, why, so he can try again? >> you have a person who is saying you are done -- he repeated that. he is lunging at me with this weapon with the two daggers coming out of it, similar to brass knuckles. he is charged with a violent felony, and he is instantly released back on the street because of new york's cashless bail laws. i saw it coming, i wish it wasn't this way, and we keep hearing to many of these stories, as you were just pointing out, some of the decisions with alvin bragg and the jose all the case, there was another story that came out a couple weeks ago where two exit

can cartel drug smugglers got caught with $1.2 million worth of crystal meth and then they were instantly released back out on the streets. there's no argument for cashless bail, the advocates say you shouldn't be stuck behind bars in a low-level offense, you're not a danger, you're not a flight risk, you have a clean record, you couldn't be stuff because you can't afford any montvale, you have no money. but i would say that if you have $1.2 million of crystal meth and you don't have any money to pay your bill, your bail, that's on you. you are a bad businessman, bad drug dealer and about criminal. we are seeing the stories that in some of these cases like earlier today, i was in syracuse, new york, there was a 93-year-old who was murdered by somebody released on cashless bail. there's more than just data. these are stories, these are real lives. cashless bail has been a failure and it needs to be repealed in new york. >> sean: i would like you to explain this. we know an email went out by your opponent, the governor's campaign giving out all the information about every upcoming campaign event.

this was before yesterday, including the dates, times, and when the events are scheduled to begin. now, in light of what's been happening with supreme court justices, in light of the environment that we have in the country, you would think that maybe she would have learned something from yesterday. my understanding is that she sent more people to follow you again today after the assassination attempt on your life last night. >> as i was going through today's schedule with avidly ramped up security, which will be ramped up for the remainder of the campaign, was traveling from the county where syracuse is located up to watertown. that's where fort drum is, jefferson county in the north country, and as we are driving up, this box truck with my face, my name on it, criticizing me, is following us up to the next rally. so we have rallies tomorrow all day, we have rallies on sunday all day, i would suggest if i was kathy at her campaign that i

6:07 pm
causing the problem, and she says she doesn't need data because she's the governor. when she was asked about alvin bragg, she says cut him some slack, he's doing his job. he just got there. i say them in january 1st, my first day as governor, it is not just a constitutional authority, it is my constitutional duty to remove alvin bragg as my first act as governor. and when she was asked just a little while ago, a few days ago, about the jose alva case and alvin bragg, she says that she's not going to get involved in it at all, it's not her business, and i would argue that if there was 1 of 19000000 new yorkers who would have a duty and responsibility to speak up when you have a d.a. doing the wrong thing, made as the governor by the constitution. we do not have recall in this state, so it's a whole lot of bad judgment collectively, and she really needs to go. >> sean: senator ted cruz, he recently traveled to the southern border to expose what he called the narco slave trade,

you've been now chronicling this in real time happening at a much -- much more accelerated pace than in prior years. what did you see? >> it is horrific, it is a human tragedy that's playing out on our southern border. so two weeks ago i brought seven senators down to the southern border. i've been down there many, many times. it is the worst i've ever seen it. we've had over 3 million people cross illegally since joe biden became president. we went out -- we arrive thursday night, first thing we did is went out on midnight patrol with the border patrol. you don't have to hunt for illegal aliens. within minutes you find them, literally within minutes. first group was found was three teenagers, we found them within about 4 minutes of being out there. about five minute later we found the second group. the second group was about a dozen people. it was all most all women and children. there were two little girls, both seven years old, both of them were unaccompanied minors. they didn't have a parent, they didn't have a family member. they weren't systems, so they
6:10 pm
were unrelated. they were in this group of adults. the border patrol agents we were with showed us a patch of grass about 300 yards from where we were were two weeks earlier they had found two girls ages five and six, both of whom have been brutally raped right there by the drug cartels and they provided medical care to these girls who were horribly injured by these violent criminals. this is happening every minute of every day. you cannot watch it -- so on the banks of the rio grande you see littered these plastic wrist bracelets. virtually every illegal immigrant who crosses the border is wearing a color-coded plastic wrist bracelet. the color corresponds to how many thousands of dollars they owe the cartel. so you got to pay the cartel anywhere between 3,000 and -- for chinese illegal immigrants they are paying as much as 50,000 or $70,000 to come in illegal and you have to pay the cartel.
6:11 pm
there is 100% operational control of the border. if you try to cross the border on your own the cartel will kill you. and what happens when you cross over -- the border patrol isn't catching his people, they go look for the border patrol, they turn themselves involuntarily. they have a name and address of someone in the united states, and joe biden and kamala harris, they are the last mile of the human trafficking network, so every city in america -- you might think "i don't live in texas, i'm not in a border state." i promise you whatever city you are in, whatever state you're in, you're in a border state because joe biden is flying illegal immigrants to your state, and the teenage boys, they show up, the other mexican drug cartels thousands of dollars, the way they pay it off as they work for the drug cartels. if they are in the employ of these criminal cartels, and the girls have it worse. the girls horribly, many of them, are trapped in sex slavery, and you know, sean, think about it for a second. let's say you are a honduran little girl, you're 15 years

old, you're looking north, imagining life in america, you're imagining life in freedom, and you end up -- your parents agree to pay the cartels and you end up, six months later, working in a brothel, trapped where every day you are in sex slavery trying to pay off your debt, and it's like an old-school plantation. they charge the girls for their food, for their room, for their board, for their air-conditioning, they charge them $30 to cut off an ankle bracelet, and every day, whatever money they make their charge them against them and they are just trapped in hell. this is what joe biden and the democrats are doing, and you cannot defend it. it's not humane, it's not compassionate, it is horrific and inhumane and evil. >> sean: and any adult traveling in a caravan that sees this happening with the cartels, their hands are tied. if they attempt to stop a rape, they will be murdered on the spot, correct?
6:13 pm
>> yes, and i will tell you something the border patrol agents told me this time, something i've never heard before the border. they described a phenomenon they are seeing now, which is what they call rape trees, which is the cartels take women over, girls or women, and in the united states they violently rape them here and then they hang the girls or the women's underwear in the trees, and so there are trees where they have dozens of women's underwear hanging in them, and it's designed to be -- it's a trophy but it's also taunting law enforcement. you can't stop me, and the maddening thing is, we can stop them. we know how to stop this. this wasn't happening under donald trump. the reason this is happening is joe biden and kamala harris care more about the radicals in the open border leftists than they do about protecting the immigrants who are being murdered. look, we saw in san antonio a tractor-trailer with 54 people
