cleaning cars and clothe. political science have not confirmed the identity of the cloth found. kidnapper set to face his first hearing later this morning. the convicted felon now facing additional charges for identity theft. after reportedly stealing a woman's cash app. and gas cards just day before fletcher went missing. all this as the suspect's uncle tells news outlets quote he is 100 percent sure he had something to do with her abduction. fletcher set out for her morning jog 4:00 a.m. friday will university of memphis. authority discovered surveillance video of what they say was a violent attack suspecting she sustained major injuries. the unidentified body found just three days after fletcher's disappearance. he is refusing to cooperate with police and currently being held on $500,000 bail. back to you. >> steve: todd, we know the suspect has been charged with kidnapping and tampering with evidence. he is due back in court.

do we suppose that if they are able to identify her as the victim he will be charged with murder? >> todd: that the assumption at this point. like you said, they still have to make that positive identification. and in a case that has had much scrutiny, they want to make sure they are 100 percent right before proceeding further because obviously the public interest but also the family. >> ainsley: thank you, todd. if you watch the local news reports, you can see they were putting crime scene tape around this big dumpster. not sure if that's where they found the body. her family is well known in the community. they employ 5500 people. her grandfather started this became a billionaire and started this hardware company and supply hardware to so many companies around the world. and that's you who they made their money. the must, and she/her husband met in church. that's the church where they got married. >> steve: the question is was she targeted because she was from a wealthy family. was she targeted because she was out jogging 4:00 in the morning? we don't know. we just know that the guy, apparently drove by her in

story. you would think backlash most felt except for fervent supporters blind by the text and tone back things up and change the tone and focus on workers on labor day. he didn't. is he doubling and tripling down talking about over and over again maga ultra maga and brings up a new term trumpys. no difference in the republican party with 74 million people that voted for trump. they believe what he believes. they might not like the tone in which he does or agree with mar-a-lago or the raid or documents. but they don't understand that when he brings up maga, people think of strong border, low taxes, lack of regulation. pro-energy. all things -- all hands on deck. protrade deals that bring manufacturing home. a strong defense. and a deemphasis on foreign wars. that's what people think about. he thinks people want to -- he thinks that the average american thinks of january 6th.

donald trump was sending out over tweets or whatnot. they voted for him thinking he was going to be a unifier like he promised. that hasn't happened. we have more inflation than ever. the last 40 years we are seeing gas prices go up. open borders, anyone is welcome. we will check your vaccine card if you are a famous tennis player but not if you are coming in through the border and it doesn't seem fair. a lot of people, i think, are going to vote for a republican no matter hot candidate is going to be to get away from these policies. they like the policies of trump. they might not have liked a lot of the rhetoric. >> brian: doesn't get it. >> ainsley: not an insult to call someone a trumpy because they like his policies. if you talk to people who voted for him. i don't like this and this that he did, but i like his policies. america was in a better place. >> steve: clearly what the president is trying to do and there you see him in pennsylvania. it was earlier in the day in wisconsin called some guy in risk who was heckling him an idiot. he is trying to reframe the election. ainsley, you are right. you know, rather than talk about

listen to this. >> >> it's a big win for the trump team and it's a potentially explosive ruling if it holds. the justice department assumed that trump only had attorney-client privilege that he did not have executive privilege. but the problem is it's not 100 percent settled. sso i thought it was incumbent n them to get a ruling from the court on that question before they hauled off and did what they did which was have the privilege team go through all of the seized documents. assuming that trump only had attorney-client privilege and then allowing all of the potentially executive privileged documents to go to the prosecution team. if it turns out that they're privileged that could taint the prosecutors who reviewed them and it could also taint their investigation. so, you know, they have been merely along conducting the investigation assuming documents appropriate for the investigation. now the judge is saying hold everything, he may have

executive privilege. >> ainsley: interesting. they have to go through each of those classified documents and see if he did declassify them. then they have go through and see if he had not honestly attorney-client privilege, executive privilege. if he does have executive privilege, because he was the president, then what are they able to take? >> steve: they would not be able to look at those particular things. as president, i retain privilege over those. i. >> ainsley: if they are going to raid his house to take information they think is theirs. what does he do in return to make sure his medical documents, his tax filings get back into his hands. >> brian: what is that team doing screen out things that are not relevant to the investigation allegedly doing? so that's why people say well, you don't need a special master. we had a team sanitize it. how good are they? we already know they took your passport and the expired passport. you denied doing it and then okay, you can have it back. why would you need to take the president's passport.

away from that, we basically abandoned every capability that we have to block them. and then left our allies on the battlefield to be hunted and killed. and these are a lot of the people are applying for humanitarian parole. >> brian: zero dollars for ukrainians. we have $575 for afghanistan visa seekers which is a lot of money for them. of the government came back and said hey, we like afghanistan. we let 78,000 into the u.s. since august of 221. what's your reaction? >> yeah, but who did you let in? a lot of the the people the most hunted at risk and vulnerable are still running around afghanistan right now and you have veteran volunteer groups who have cashed in their military pensions, have lost their jobs, that are basically paying for the safe houses, that are paying for the medical care, brian. look, this is not about not supporting ukraine. >> brian: of course.
