memorabilia few was one of the richest best organized cities in the country. had a booming economy. it had beautiful municipal parks and a lot more than 100. had one of the most modern sanitations systems in the world, something we take for granted now. when yellow fever was real, no one took it for granted. memphis was such a big deal it was the informal capitol of the entire region, the mississippi delta. not anymore. in fact by last year, if you want to memphis, hard to believe any was true at any point because at that point and now, memphis had become a husk and a highly threatening one. in 2021, according to federal statistics, memphis, tennessee, was the most dangerous city in the united states. last year it record add total of 342 murders. how much is that? by comparison, san antonio, texas, has more than twice the population recorded fewer than half as many murders. so by any measure at all, memphis was absolutely falling

y shrineshines through. a man grew up in the city of memphis but could not have been a more different sort of person. he devoted his life to preying on people weaker than he was. he was a predator, he was an evil man. at a young age, he was arrested for stealing, aggravated assault, weapons charges, carjacking and rape. in 2000 convicted of kidnapping a man in local downtown and throwing him in the trunk of his car. the city reported more than 100 kidnappings. he was never fully punished for what he d. nor is he in hi way reformed by his experience behind bars. abston was well known in his

apartment complex for terrifying his neighbors and nobody in the justice system seemed to have intervened. early last friday morning, eliza fletcher and cleotha abston met for the first and last time as her husband and children slept at home. abston followed her on her run in a black suv. fletcher jogged by, abston leapt out, beat her bloody, smashed her cell phone and dragged here into his vehicle. within an hour, she was dead. she'd been sexual assaulted and murdered. police arrested abston soon after based on surveillance video and he refused to say what happened to eliza fletcher so her family waited in agony but he didn't care. he never spoke. yesterday authorities finally found eliza fletcher's body and thrown like garage behind an abandoned building. what may be the scariest part,

some people didn't seem particular shocked or horrified by it. in the hours after eliza fletcher's disappearance, biden voters on social media seemed to dismiss on racial grounds. why are we paying attention to the kidnapping of an attractive white woman. that's racism. why why she was jogging at that hour in memphis? come on. the point they're making is clear, everyone knows the rules. eliza fletcher violated the rules. you can go outside in certain hours in certain parts of america and if you do violate the rules, you run the risk of being raped and murdered. that's how it works. adapt, accept, and move on. all of us feel that way. whether we articulated it or not, we know the rules. we know what we can and cannot do in modern america. nothing is spelled out, nothing can be spelled out at risk of punishment. but everyone knows what the parameters are. cities like memphis or baltimore

or detroit or montgomery or gary, indiana; or wilmington, indiana, and more little cities across the country were destroyed forever by the rioting that accompanied our last social progressive revolution more than 50 years ago and politicized criminals started breaking things, torching buildings and stealing. and anyone with a decent job left. they pulled their kids out of school, sold the house or not, didn't matter, and split for somewhere else and mostly have never come back. that is true not simply in memphis but places all other the country. so it seeps a little weird to a lot of people when someone like eliza fletcher that could live anywhere moves back to memphis voluntarily. not to a suburb but the city of memphis. that seems weird to people. but it's not weird. it's not odd at all when you think about it. eliza fletcher was from memphis and grew up there and had a right to come back. this was her country to as its

your country too. an american citizen should be able to live or walk anywhere in america without being raped or murdered for it. period. that is the baseline requirement for civilization. it's called order. that's not what we have. we have a country that you can't go some places and not want there had and it's too dangerous for you to go. most people accept this by default but we should never accept this under any circumstances. to accept something is to concede it is more or less normal. once we acknowledge something as normal, once it's children being castrated in the name of trans- rights or rapist that weren't in prison because of equity. once we accept that as normal, we're stuck with it forever. it's the new status quo and will never change except to get worse. the good people who lived in memphis a century ago would never believe what's happened to the city they've built. they would weep if they saw it. that would be the experience of

every american before long. our entire country will be memphis if we don't put a stop to this insanity right now with as much force as is required. so joe biden gave the most threatening presidential speech in american history last week. he spoke in front of a blood red backdrop flanked by u.s. marines, and he delivered, if you take a step back, the blueprint for the rest of his administration. criminalized decent, effectively ban the opposition, and use the federal agencies to transform america into a one party state. it's called authoritarianism. biden said in a speech, the white house advertised as nonpolitical. >>jesse: donald trump and the maga republicans represent extremism that threatens the very foundation of our republic. >> the re-pub can party today is

leaders and sending billions to ukraine and it is authoritarian leaders every month. the government of ukraine jailed top political rival, banned opposition parties and outlawed independent media. oh, but that's not authoritarian. what's authoritarian is disagreeing with joe biden. do that and joe biden will stand in front of the military he controls and declare you were an enemy of the state. watching the fanatical support for the white house for the ones that run ukraine, you can see the template here. as it always true when joe biden speaks, you can't hold him entirely responsible because not only did he not write the words and not aware he spoke them. the other day after giving a speech, he said i don't consider any trump supporter a threat to the country. that was on friday. our media seemed to ignore that and be very disappointed if they heard that because they listened

up. >> tucker: oh, so if you're innocent you have nothing to hide. don't worry. it's amazing how soviet the whole thing is. joe biden calls for political purges and law enforcement crackdowns on the political opponents and state media cheer him on. in a speech about the threats to our republic, joe biden doesn't mention anything but domestic threats. doesn't mention china a single time, the border or fentanyl or crime. he only mentioned people that oppose him politically. once again like the obedient servants they are, our media cheer him on. you have to wonder on their views for authoritarianism, obviously they're for it. one of the journalists wrote the speech, that would be john meechum that wrote for years at news week and he had a hand in writing the speech last week and redecorated the oval office at joe biden's request and now the propaganda's chief.

it's not hard to see what inspired meechum to write that speech. earlier this year he went on television to compare the president of ukraine zelensky to winston churchhill and the men who stormed the beaches of normandy. those are the only chunks of language he's capable of using now that you're prepared, here it is, "it may sound sentimental but has the virtue of being true". right. at the same time zelensky and churchhill was criminalizing in his country and shut down three television stations and the media have been the tools of war against ukraine so they're blocked in order to protect national security. oh. so the tv stations are sort of like donald trump or fox news, we need to silence nem to preserve the commodity seizure disorders. democracy was only one side gets to speak. so it really is democracy
