>> brian: todd piro is here with the details. >> todd: what we feared and expected, sadly. good morning to all three of you. police confirming the human remains found in a south memphis neighborhood are those of missing heiress and mother of two fletcher. tire tracks in tall grass and strong odor led them to find her body abandoned home less than a mile away from the apartment complex where witnesses say they saw accused killer cleotha abston cleaning his suv. he is facing multiple charges including first degree murder. abston also carries a long criminal history first being arrested for theft at age 11. he was convicted of rape at age 14. later went on to serve 20 years in prison for kidnapping a well-known attorney at gunpoint and forcing him to withdraw money from multiple atm machines. fletcher's family is now breaking their silence and demanding justice for the 34-year-old saying, quote: we are heart broken and devastated by this senseless loss. we are grateful beyond major to

local state law enforcement find liza and bring justice to the person responsible for this horrible crime. and memphis police out on a manhunt this morning for another kidnapping suspect after mother and baby were briefly abducted in a target parking lot last week. those victims were released unharmed after the mom was forced to withdraw money from a nearby atm. back to you. >> steve: that's the threat. they both involve atm withdrawals with the kidnapping. todd, thank you very much. and in reading what has been going on in memphis, it sounds like, you know, people there realize that the threshold is a thousand bucks. so in the target kidnapping. it was 800 bucks. just like the attorney who was put in that guy's trunk decades ago. if the threshold is close to $1,000, that's a problem. people are getting kidnapped. if you are going to kidnap somebody, even if it's for $25, that should be a felony. kidnapping is kidnapping. but, you know, okay, it was 800

based on a true story. it's all about the value of life in the womb, the life of every life and the beauty of adoption. and i am an adoptive father myself. my wife and i have four adoptive children and my wife is an adopted child. this is very close to our heart. the timing of this movie, ainsley, is unbelievable. who would have thought in our lifetime that roe v. wade would be gone and on the heels of that supreme court decision here comes a movie rushing into the theaters this weekend celebrating the value of life and the beauty of adoption. >> ainsley: do you recommend, kirk, if you are adopted to reach out divowr birth parents. >> that's a very, very personal decision it turns out that two of my children have reached out to their birth mothers and had incredible stories. in fact, my daughter just spent last mother's day at her biomom's house for the weekend. it was a beautiful story. and what i love about the movie life mark is that this young man

did reach out to his birth mother, and he realizes that her choice for adoption allowed him to not only live but then his life impacts so many other people's lives and it's incredibly inspiring. and it worked out in a very beautiful way in a very difficult situation. >> ainsley: i know it's based on a true story. tell us more about the story. >> this is a story of an 18-year-old girl who found herself in an unplanned pregnancy. she rolled off the abortion table at the last moment. she hid her pregnancy and birth from her parents and everybody else. and then she placed him up for adoption. thinking she would never see him again. and then when he reaches back out to her and they connect, she is so nervous, will he hate her for abandoning him. is he actually coming to thank her for giving him life and beautiful family. i get to play the dad. >> ainsley: tell us about your role. >> i play adoptive father i have a little bit of experience six kids and four adopted kids.

it was awesome. what i love about life mark not only is it based on a true story but we have some of the actual people from the real story playing roles in the film. so, we couldn't have written the script this good. we literally took lines right out of their mouth and wrote them into the script and everything that you see happen there is what actually happened. and it is so inspiring. >> ainsley: kirk, so many children need homes. how easy is it now to adopt in america? >> the latest statistics that i have been hearing is that there is 36 couples for every child out there that is needing a home. so, there are lots and lots of adoptive parents out there that are longing for children. at the end of lifemark in the movie theaters, we will come back onto the screen and give you resources, counseling, adoption agencies, and all sorts of things to help you with an adoption process if god lays that on your heart.
