tennessee. on wednesday, a violent criminal ezekiel kelly had a rampage all over town. he even live shooting on the facebook page. he laughed, smile. ultimately he was apprehended by police and here he is smiling in his mugshot. you probably won't be surprised to find out that kelly should have been in prison all along as he was discharged with attempted -- charged with attempted murder in 2020. that's only two years ago. he only served 11 months of what was a three year sentence which should have been much longer. 11 months for trying to kill somebody? this horrific case is not an isolated incident. america needs to work this out. we need law & order so every american is safe and secure so every american can actually pursue happiness. >> also this week, in memphis,

prison population by a third and not make anyone less safe in pennsylvania. that's a profound statement. >> sean: they're not talking about pot hots and tax cheats. they want to release murderers, raini rapists. we're hiring 87,000 new irs agents. that's way more important, right? let's be clear. if you want your family living next door to a career criminal, just photo for a -- vote for a democrat. in fact, in almost every major city controlled by a democrat, murder is up, assault subpoena, rape is way up. many cities is breaking all time records. that's why joe biden is now pretending to support law and order. it is a blatant lie. it's what we call an election year conversion. he doesn't mean a simple word of it. the media mob meanwhile, they're turning a blind eye over a fake

political points with their base using this trendy left wing gimmicks, defunding the police, dismantle police forces. but in the real world, law abiding, taxpaying, peaceful americans that mind their own business, paying their taxes, raise their kids, go to church, they are paying a heavy price. they're getting shot. they're getting murdered. they're getting stabbed. they're getting abducted and raped and getting robbed in broad daylight. and now we have the knockout game is back. they're being pushed on to subway tracks. they're getting carjacked. you name it, it's hang all because of -- it's happening all because of policies from democrats, policies that, for example, trust fund brat in a hoodie john fetterman is supporting and a hardcore radical mandela barns is the democrat candidate in wisconsin. policies that they're

6:08 pm
heraldo, you cannot deny that what joe biden said in his speech in pennsylvania, if in philly with the red background or if you're watching fake news cnn, a pretty pink background. what he's saying is a lie. what he's saying about i want to fund the police is a lie. his own vice president praise the lapd for defunding the lapd. so what he's saying is untrue, heraldo. this is rampant in the democratic party. they're coddling criminals and americans are paying the price. tell me where i might be wrong. >> well, i don't disagree basically with anything you have said. i hate to disappoint dan, but i believe that, you know, joe biden was guilty of the most lazy stereotype with the maga

republican nonsense. i hope he regrets saying it because it rebounded against him. the only disagreement i have with it is that you didn't mention one other factor, and that's race. you have these cities, detroit, new orleans, baltimore, cleveland where i am, memphis where two of these horrible crimes have happened. they are majority african-american cities where african-american commits most of the murders and the victims of those crimes are also usually african-american. black people killing black people. it's the ghetto civil war i've been talking about that i've been pleading with people to please do something about. the reason abduction of the woman -- >>. >> sean: to be clear, on this show we have been scrolling the names that americans have never heard of before -- >> you do. >> sean: of people shot and killed. ? chicago, we've been doing it since 2009. that's a longer period of time than most people work on cable

they be reacting? what would the coverage be like if that was the case? >> you know the answer, so does the audience, it would be on the front page of the "new york times." they'd be calling for investigations of the save america pack or whatever. it would be collective attribution. every one who voted for trump would be a blood thirsty serial killer. but the hypocrisy is boring. i've argued this repeatedly on my show. it's hierarchy. this isn't hype see for the left. it's not -- hypocrisy requires two standards, correct? one for me and one for thee. there's one standard. the standard's this, kiss my ass, i'm in charge and i'm a leftist. we abuse power. we're thinking about, man, this is hypocritical. leftist, when the -- when the

6:14 pm
become politicallized and the doj have been weaponized. you're following that store. i think it dovetails perfectly in the conversation we just had. do you see the same thing? are you hearing the same thing? >> absolutely, sean. we're seeing it unfolding in real-time. what we're seeing is an administration that cares nothing about the rule of law. they only care about abusing it. the only time they're interested in law enforcement is when they can use it against their political opponents, especially donald trump or anybody who supported donald trump. and what we're seeing is an effort by this president to use law enforcement, to abuse law enforcement to try to criminalize basically the political opposition, which is half the country. and it is unprecedented in our history, sean, and it is extremely dangerous. metroplex time, you got people like this killer in memphis. we're seeing shooting sprees, murders, carjackings all across the country. doj won't lift a finger to do anything about the crime spree that is hurting and killing americans, but they've got all
6:15 pm
the time in the world to target their political opponents. >> sean: what dunk of merrick -- did you think of merrick garland's, quote, reminder that they're not allowed to talk to members of congress, people like yourself, senators and congressman? that sounded to me like an intimidation effort to silence people that are whistleblowers in light of charles grassley admitting all these whistleblowers are coming forward? >> you bet it was. that's exactly what it was. and i tell you, sean, we've had whistleblowers come to me and giving us what happened. what's happening with the afghan refugees. you got a lot of people right now who are good honest people in government and they can't believe what this administration's doing. you bet merrick garland and his corrupt leadership at doj is telling these people you sit down and shut up. he's basically threatening them. listen, these folks -- whistleblowers are protected under federal law.
6:16 pm
what we see is, once again, the biden team saying we're not going to abide by the law if it doesn't suit us and they're trying to shut this down so they can continue to abuse our criminal justice system and abuse these institutions it for their own political gain. >> sean: are these whistleblowers protecting the fbi and protecting the biden family, more specifically hunter biden. are these whistleblowers also talking about the large extent of investigations into parents that speak out at school board meetings? are these while blowers out there talking about how if it's anything donald trump, there's a separate system of justice in the department of justice? are they saying those things? >> i think we're seeing all of the above the, sean. i can just tell you from the whistleblowers that i've seen from senator grassley who have come to him about how the fbi is being abused, how this justice department is using it to go after trump, how they're using
6:17 pm
it to shield hunter biden. we've had whistleblowers come forward and say the biden administration lied about the afghan refugees, that we actually have hundreds of potential terrorists in this country because they didn't vet the afghan refugees. they brought them in the country and released them. how about dhs lied. it's across the board. we're seeing this in all the different agencies. the consistent theme is, the biden people are abusing the law, they're buoo using the procedures is it and they're doing it to go after their political pones. they're doing to cover their own fraction and it's wrong. >> sean: do you think director rey, the fbi and do you think the attorney general are up to their job? >> no. no. neither of them are. both of them should go. they should have resigned a long time ago. they should have been fired. as to the attorney general, i believe he should be removed if he will not step down. >> sean: we appreciate you being

it was so important to you, the royal family and so important to the people of britain. convey to today and specifically your relationship with them. >> you know, sean, this is honestly one of the saddest days of my life. and i'll tell you why. it's because in america you have presidents that kind of like your royal family in a way each time they come along. but they're only there are to a maximum of eight years and then they move on. this queen has been on the th throne of this country for70 ye. i'm 57 years old. she's been the only monarch i ever had in this country. she was already reining the 13 years before i was born. she had straddled so much change in our society here, in our country. she shteered us through good times and bad. she's been through pandemic and ter terrorists attacks. natural disasters that befallen

about the world. and it made her one of the wisest people i certainly ever met. i met her on a number of occasions. i had the great privilege of it. she was a remarkably intelligent, feisty and strong woman. somebody rang me, very close to the royal family, and rumors have been swirling all day about what may be going on. we knew it was serious. all the royal family were going up to visit her. rumors were circulating. someone called me and said, piers, i'm really sorry but the queen has passed. it was like i was hit in the back, honestly. it was like a jolt to me. and i told my family immediately and they were all completely horrified and shocked and upset. and it's hard to describe to people who aren't british why it means so much to us. but it really does. it's touched all of us. and i shed a tear or two today and i'm sure i will over the next few days because she was

when she was 21 and they were married. she -- you know, he said the secret of wedding when asked is tolerance because we know he -- you know, he had his mischievous side. she said after he died, that mischievous inquitwinkle. her father when he died she became queen. she said it was the hardest conversation i ever had with her. her lady in waiting was watching them pace back and forth. when the queen same inside, she hugged her and she realized i'm hugging the queen and she knelt down and curtsy. when her father died, sean, she said we are all just visitors this time, this place. we are just passing through. our purpose here is to learn, to grow, to love and then we return home. . >> sean: last question, piers. how will great britain respond to king charles? >> you know, it's a big

challenge because there's no one like the queen. and she's irreplaceable, really. we've never known any different. the only good thing he has -- well, he got many good qualities. but the good thing is he's been waiting for this moment. it's been the longest apprenticeship ever. of course, he was learning at the seat of the greatest monarch that's ever been. so i actually think charles will be a very good king. he'll face a lot of challenges, how to keep the monarch keep it going. i remember being in the summer with you, ainsley, martha. when the queen walked out, what i'm grateful for is that we have that moment as a country and the world to show her what she meant to us. there was such euphoria that day. and i think we all felt this excitement. it was unbelievably thrilling to be able to say to her thank you

they didn't want a special master. we know they took donald trump's private medical records. we know they got private tax information. we know that they got over 500 pages of attorney-client privilege information. we know that they took his passports. we know that they rifled through his son baron's room and his wife's room. and now they don't want an objective team coming in to see whether or not that warrant was so broad. this is in your wheelhouse. you are a constitutional scholar. what do you say about the whole thing? >> first of all, one of the things i say is i notice bill barr's out there trashing former president trump. i think he's on cable tv more than an erectile dysfunction at this point, sean hannity. i don't know what his problem is, but there's a couple of issues here i would raise with him and the nation. who's in charge of this investigation? it's the attorney general of the united states. he hasn't recused himself. he hasn't appointed somebody
6:37 pm
else. he's in charge of every aspect of this investigation, including the search warrant. so that is a huge problem. it's unprecedented. we have donald trump, a former president, who may want to be president again. so this whole thing is outrageous. let's sit back and ask ourselves a question. what the hell is this really about? all they're going to say it's about classified documents and then when you bring that up, they say, no, it's about obstruction and, no, no, it's about stealing documents. it's at constant moving. but we have an alike here in the "washington post," a document describing a foreign government's military defenses, including its nuclear capabilities was found by fbi agents who searched former president's mar-a-lago president and private club last month, according to people familiar with the matter. who would that be? it's the department of justice and the fbi. underscoring concerns among u.s. intelligence officials about classified material stashed in the florida property. number one that, florida

intends to renew a nuclear cooperation agreement with china, and it was so quiet, it was under the radar. even congress didn't realize they were notified. it would allow beijing to buy more technology to reprocess plutonium. guess what? it happened. oh, look at this. joe biden rurts, the u.s. department of justice will end up program focused on fighting chinese espy espionage. from a broader array of hostile nations. why did they do that? because they thought this was racial pro filing of the communist chinese government that's stealing our technology. now, we have people all over tv, former federal prosecutors who

action against donald trump. why is that, sean? well, because november is a big election and biden's down in the polls. this is the reality of our situation right now, america. we are literally in the most dual, as you said, there's dual systems for justice. if you are a trump, if you are anybody else, it's different. it's not right. and if hunter was eric trump or don't jr. ory ivanka, god knows there would be a nondisaster investigation, they would be can you have cuffs. it's absurd. >> sean: well said. greg, where is the raid on hunter biden's home? we know there's evidence of crime on the lab top from hell. and we also know that that laptop ism indicates the president. he had a lot of knowledge of these foreign business dealings and the conflict of interest. why no interest at all on this?

a strict order from top officials at the fbi, don't open the laptop, don't look at it. instead, they buried the case and then peddled this phony story that it was all russian disinformation. let me say this to the special master. i wouldn't bet in favor of merrick garland before the 11th circuit court of appeals. plus his argument makes no sense if it is so urgent, why did he appoint -- why is he appealing the case? that will elongate this for months. >> sean: yeah. >> i suspect that there is an urgency there but a cover-up going on. . >> sean: i think well said by both of you. great. thank you.
